AIG07: I have also held on to this claim. That V. Moses is an undisputable starter anytime anyday. Not untill the Argentina's match. Victor is a versatile player and one of the best in the team. His ability gives him an edge over others. But we can never tell what can happen. He missing out in the starting eleven will depend on ATTITUDE and FORMATION the coach intends using. My man coaches don't think this way, irrespective of formation, Victor Moses is a starter. |

AIG07: Ighalo's last game in GWG was against Zambia. He will need to fight his way back into the starting 11. Same goes for Onazi, M. Simon, Elderson who have been out due to injuries.
This is one of the reasons I like this team. You slack like this, you move to the bench. Nacho, Iwobi, Ndidi have had to sit and watch from the bench. So, I don't see Odion been an exception. The only player in that team that is an undisputable starter is MIKEL. As long as he is fit he'll always start. Others, must fight. Sir did you really played the game cos i realised those who played the game always understand it better, this is the advantage Guardiola had over Mourinho. Despite Germany victory in confederation cup did you realised the regulars in the team that missed the confederation cup still form the bedrock of the team A good coach who knows what he is doing will only address where he is having issues in the team. The only success story in our Argentina match is the discovery of Idowu and Uzoho meaning LB is fix and likely goalkeeper issue. If i may ask what led to our discussion? you asterisk Ighao's name which i disagreed now you are bringing another angle into it that those who missed Argentina game needs to work to make the team, quite agreed but no coach would used a victory in a friendly match to shut the door on some of his reliable just cos they missed the match which is not intentional but due to injury. Mind you irrespective of the outcome of Argentina match i can bodily tell you that Victor Moses,Ogeny Onazi,Odion Ighalo will walk back straight into the team. Sorry to say this asterisk of Ighalo and not asterisk Onazi or Victor Moses shows that you don't rate Ighalo cos the duo too missed Argentina match if we want to follow your reasons. I will not deceive you for now Rohr doesn't joke with Mikel Obi,Victor Moses,Odion Ighalo,Leon Balogun, Ndidi Wifred,Ogenyi Onazi,Ekong Troost and newly added are Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi, these nine players are sure banker and likely starter at WC. |

AIG07: Sir, the above named players are good and have been integral part of the team. But to better understand my opinion I'll need you to see the competition these guys will/might be facing before making it. Provided all things been equal. Other players hits top form and given call ups before the final list.
Odion-Striker (9) Iheanacho Anthony Kayode Ideye Dessers Success Osimhen Martins(I am not ruling him out yet-they play in thesame league) Note: of these players 3 will be selected to lead the line.
Moses Simon-Winger Iwobi V. Moses Musa Success Onyekuru Bazee *here 4 maybe selected to join the other 3 CFs. I see Rohr listing 7 men as his attackers.
Ogu & Etebo-Midfielders Mikel Ndidi Onazi Etebo Agu Joel Obi
I see Rohr picking 5 here.
Sir, You see the competition. None of those players has a guarantee slot yet. I disagreed totally on Ighalo, pls remove that asterisk on his name, hope you know Ighalo is ahead of Iheanacho in eagles presently. |

But I doubt Maduka is number two according to the report. It should be Ezenwa.
Anyway, this was just to show that The House Chief Comedian, Sir Elite "Big Head" Elyte89 was not kidding when he dropped his comment.
On a personal note Elder Sir Kog45, me I know that Rohr has decided on Uzoho and Ezenwa and it has nothing to do with this scorenigeria report. It is that number three spot that is not certain yet. Now am going by safarigirl's word that let's wait till friendlies matches, then will know who is who, goalkeeping department is dicey and justice must be done or else will regrets it. |

TheSuperNerd: Pardon me for asking if it was a joke because with you ehn.... pesin fit no know when you dey play or when you dey serious niii...
But You are right.... let me share the story here....
Gernot Rohr has described Dele Ajiboye as “wonderful”, but special SCORENigeria investigations have revealed that the Plateau United championship-winning goalkeeper is not in his plans for the World Cup.
Ajiboye kept Nigeria alive in Wednesday night’s semi-final against Sudan with several top-class saves when he replaced injured Ikechukwu Ezenwa
Rohr told SCORENigeria in Marrekesh: “We had a very good goalkeeper again, Ajiboye made a wonderful game and saved our team several times.
“I’m not surprised by Ajiboye because I know him, I have invited him to the Eagles and we also have two good goalkeeper trainers.”
However, despite Ajiboye’s heroics in Morocco he may not be on the 30-man provisional squad for Russia 2018, top team officials have informed SCORENigeria “Ajiboye is not in Rohr’s plans for the World Cup,” the official told SCORENigeria
“Rohr has made up his mind and it does not look like he will change it no matter what happens here in Morocco.”
Further SCORENigeria investigations have revealed Francis Uzoho has been installed as the country’s No 1 goalkeeper for the World Cup even though he has only played 45 minutes for Nigeria in a friendly against Argentina in November and he is no longer playing first-team football at Deportivo La Coruna.
That explained why Enrico Pionetti will shortly relocate to Spain to specially work with Uzoho.
Rohr’s scouts have also picked out another goalkeeper with Nigerian roots who plies his trade in Germany.
**By Kola Daniel in Marrekesh, Morocco
Take note of the bolded people
Russia 2018 WC Countdown: 133 days to go
Based on the report which seem untrue,Uzoho number one,Maduka number two and likely Ezenwa number three,Ajiboye just need another heroic display to convince Rohr but hope goalkeeper would not be our undue at WC cos selection look faulty especially Maduka. I doubt the report cos Rohr was not quoted. |

Has not pushed on since the under 17. Not had a single game this season. Not much is known of his current form. He might need an outstanding friendly performance to prove to selectors that he can make the team. Good keeper but need to play in his club cos friendly is not enough for WC,really i don't rate youth football but better for him to play in youth league just like Uzoho. |

In the shadow of other keepers. Has not had the opportunities to prove his worth. His performance in the Semi final of the CHAN tournament opened a lot of eyes to his abilities. Ezenwa
Almost guaranteed to make the team, barring injury or poor form. Good shot stopper but struggles with some aspects of the game. The battle for Ezenwa now is to prove to selectors that he is number 1. Good goalkeeper but number 1 for WC look dicey with the displayed of Uzoho and Ajiboye against Argentina and Sudan. |

Advancing very quickly and even getting a couple of La liga games under his belt. A comfortable performance against Argentina put him in the good books of the coaches. Still very raw. He has a chance at becoming number 1 if he proves himself in the upcoming games. The guy is good no doubt but look so rookie, just my fear. |

for me, i will go with Uzoho, Ajiboye and Ezenwa in that order but Uzoho needs to be tested more before he can be tagged as first choice. I don't see Uzoho beating Ajiboye with what i saw yesterday but Uzoho's height is tempting even Alampasu too,so likely Rohr go for Uzoho. |

somehow: I thought we are only going to the world cup with 23 man team?
Everyone being picked to go to the world cup.
Make una small small o lol.
Rohr knows 80% of his team already (according to him) so where would all these new names fit into?
As for goal keeping position, those he's likely to pick are known by him but the order of picking is what is giving him issues IMO.
The friendlies should allow at least 4-6 keepers get tried. We have 5-6 friendlies, let each of them have 2 trials each (2 halves).
Even if we have 6 goal keepers to try, 6 friendlies can get us a better view of them all.
Ezenwa Ajiboye Uzoho Akpeyi Alampasu
These 5 should be tested during the friendlies.
Infact Aiyenugba should also be tried IMO. From these 6 names, I know about 2 who are very good with stopping PKs.
(AJIBOYE AND AIYENUGBA)
for height :
Uzoho and Alampasu
For positioning:
Uzoho, Aiyenugba and Ajiboye
For confidence:
Ezenwa, Aiyenugba, Uzoho and Ajiboye
I believe it shouldn't be that hard to find 3 good keepers from these 6 options. If we go by your analysis on each Keeper, then Uzoho,Ajiboye,Aiyenugba nick it but i doubt Aiyenugba cos he is not in Rohr's plan, remember Maduka too,so let's put our fingers crossed but for now Ezenwa,Uzoho and Ajiboye with his performance yesterday ahead but am seeing Alampasu breaking into the team if any of the trio failed to deliver. |
