BROS, YOU CAN NOT GET A SECURITY JOB AS AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT .
I dont want to put some people out there but man, you will surely be surprised at the professional jobs some illegals have here in the United States, especially when you have been through college and got experience here. Some of them even have / own IT companies hiring citizens. Maybe it is because most agree that America is an immigrant nation.

I agree that the United Kingdom is a sufferhead country.

Sorry man but that was not a mistake. If the guy took his time to read the entire post before endoring it and forwarding it all around, he would've found out it was a fake article.

Cant take it light with peeps like that. That is exactly how false rumors are spread.

Why would anyone want to live as an illegal immigrant abroad instead of living like a decent human being at home. I know a Nigerian  consultant doctor who was deported after 27 years in US when they found that just one  of his papers submitted more than 20 years ago had a simple error.

Another man Lou Dobbs was deported after 48 years living illegally in US even though he had a respectable job as a CNN host. See here

Get back home quick and  go to farm.It is better than sweeping toilet abroad.
You are truly dumb. Did you really read that article??

theonion.com is a site that writes fake stories for dumb and stupid people like you.

Nothing on that site is real - it is purely a humor site.

And by the way, why do people have a problem with job titles, as long as the worker is satisfied with what they do and do not go around borrowing??

What is wrong with cleaning toilet? Someone must do it - especially if it pays better than farming . . .why not?

I look forward to the day that home governments, especially in African countries will begin to take the welfare of their people very seriously.
Thank you. God bless you.

Even the so-called illegals live much better than the 'free' people at home. Why would anyone choose to sleep on a hard concrete foreign floor if he/she knows he can get at least a mat to sleep on at home?

The annoying thing is that Nigeria is not even a poor country (cannot be compared to soweto, uganda and other places) but 98% of its citizens live way below the poverty level.

People suffering in the midst of plenty while the few connected to the corridors of power enjoy and oppress the masses. People have multiple degrees and still cannot get decent jobs while govt officials' kids drive around in choice cars carrying thousands of $ (not even naira!).

Of course there will be stealing and kidnapping.

I know several people here in the states who came to study but are not out of status but have excellent jobs and live decent lives with their families. There are wrongful ways of becoming legal but some of these people have decided not to go that route. Some have their own legitimate business and all contribute to the ecomony back at home by sending money to their extended families.

What do you want such people to come and do in Nigeria . . start working the streets of abuja / lagos for jobs, while they see corrupt officials wasting citizens' lives away?

I am not encouraging illegal immigration but I also do not support corrupt Nigerian officials who have destoyed the future of that country.

How can one be patriotic when all the govt officials are only interested in lining their pockets at the citizens' expense?

Before you can beg people to return home, you must be able to convince govt officials to stop sending their own kids abroad for education, buying houses abroad and going for medical check up abroad.

Then we can talk about being patriotic.  How many people have died while while serving Nigeria, only for the corrupt officials to even pocket the money meant for the funerals?

Why are you begging poeple to come home when industries are leaving and you would need more than your two eyes as collateral to secure a small business loan? what else will there be to do other than kidnapping and stealing with the pen like everyone else?

We need to be true to ourselves.  You might be one of the 5% that is doing well (however) in naija but we must admit that things are not right.

I walked towards the door just now and I noticed a lady behind me so I held the door open for her so she could pass.

She walked past the door, said thank you then stepped aside so I could walk past her.

I asked her why and she said she didnt want me looking at her backside! I simply smiled and walked on.

I think this has been talked about before but it still amazes me.

I served in Warri - girls would offer us food, money and sex so we could do their G.C.E exams for them. Even their mothers used to come along to plea with them.

Trust the useless fathers, playing draft and drinking ogogoro as early as 6 in the morning.

Those were the dark days.

Thank God.

I remember on one very dark n warm NYSC night in delta state, some soldiers drove their truck onto the camp field.

Come see as couples begin dey surface on top bare field in the middle of the night - the drivers were chasing them round the field in their undies. The next morning, you could see stained wrappers all over the field.  grin  grin

Another annoying thing is that female corpers were shagging man-o-war guys for favors back then - what kind of favor can you get from a soldier wannabehuh?  dumb girls!!

Yep, if you're looking for fun, NYSC is soo much more fun than all your entire college yrs put together.

During NYSC in delta state, there was this nice girl I became friends with. She had a relationship in Lagos and so did I. Her boyfriend worked with Mobil Producing so money was not an issue. We talked about issues like women's minds were fickle like someone mentioned here and she was like, lailai, she could never leave her bf - she had no reason to.

She would see me at church fellowships and also in the midst of my friends @ the mammy market - all my friends drank beers but she would always see me with amstel malta and milk.  Every once in a while, we would have decent and long conversations, walk around without even talking.

Guess what? she started having funny feelings - I would notice it on her face whenever I told her I had to go hang with my boys. So I stopped spending time with her but it only made it worse. On the last day of camp, she scribbled a note, handed it to me and took off - she expressed her feelings to me in the note. I looked for her and simply made her feel good about herself. Imagine what i might have been able to do if I was a bad boy.

Bottomline, a truly good girl started having feelings for a poor me because we started spending time together. Now imagine a poor needy girl in the midst of 'wealthy naija devils'. grin

May the good Lord not lead us into temptation . . or be able to overcome it when we are in one.
Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Is Double Dating Fun Or Trouble? by kokoye(m): 5:56pm On Nov 10, 2009
Na wah o.

I need to go for a refresher course when I decide to move back to my country.

So double-dating means having a spare part in Nigeria?  it aint a bad word where I live - couples hangin out together.

I go be illiterate for naija now o, I swear. Even better to speak my native ekiti language all the way.
RomanceRe: Wife Enjoying Free Ride To Work From Her Male Colleague In Office. Advisable? by kokoye(m): 5:06pm On Nov 10, 2009
@ poster.

This might not be a big deal in developed nations, but in Nigeria, it is easy to oppress poor people or fall into unwanted temptation because of poverty and poverty mentatlity.

I'm sorry it might to too late now o.  If you tell her to start taking kabu kabu now (after she's been enjoying a/c in another man's car), she'll make ur life a living hell with complaints and comparisons every evening when she gets home. Even the car owner go dey take style laugh at you say you dey fear. Unfortuately, they work together and see everyday and if something had already started, sorry o - they dont need the car to continue.

Trust or no trust, no man likes it when another man is providing is wife with things he cannot provide - except ur in denial. And even if theyre not creeping, the women will likely complain every once in a while when there's no car to take her around and she has to wait in the sun for a bus. . . with other smelly passengers and a rude conductor. She will compare. Even some of her friends / family members will remind her of it regularly.

Bros, I know the thought of this can be destructive to your health. Please hope for the best and trust your wife. Hopefully you go fit buy her a car. I know you would have gotten her a car if you could afford it of course.

A good wife will not cheat on her husband in ANY situation. But a bad wife will cheat even if you buy her the world.

But God, pls do not lead us into temptation o. , including poverty  grin
