HealthRe: Second Handed Undies, How Good Is It For The Ladies? by kokoye(m): 8:01pm On Feb 02, 2010
I know of a girl (from a very decent family) who used to steal her friends' undies whenever she went for a sleepover.

Dont know if she was wore them . . .I believe she was a klepto.

This girl is now a lawyer in the U.K and married too.

And i'm sure she'll trip like you guys when read reads this.

Well, I have seen a few situations where the lady said no for months and now they are married.

So there is no hard and fast rule to this.

The same girl that once called me cheap and tight-fisted while I was in grad school and driving a dented honda accord is now my wife and drives a Lexus truck that I bought for her and all paid for.

search his heart and see if he truly wants to be with you . . or like some said, he might not consider you a worthy investment. How does he treat his family members? you can find out stuff that way

or he's just plain stingy

FamilyRe: Why Do Some Nigerian Men Enjoy Beating Their Wives? by kokoye(m): 10:01pm On Feb 01, 2010
@ poster.

Please replace the 'Most' on the thread title with 'Some'. The fact that it is done does not make ti right and family values are improving.

I dont know ANY of my friends that would think of raising their hands on their wives - they were not raised to do such.

And this has nothing to do with location by the way.

thanks.
FamilyRe: A Question For D Men by kokoye(m): 9:55pm On Feb 01, 2010
Those wives are definately not telling the complete story. No married man would go sleep alone on a cold night for no reason.

It is either one of them snores or nags . .or something else is up.

RomanceRe: Ladies, Whats Wrong With Making The First Move? by kokoye(m): 9:58pm On Jan 29, 2010
Ujujoan:
^ You can keep telling yourself that if it makes you happy, but I can tell you that 9 out of every 10 guys takes it for granted if a girl makes d first move. Some get disspointed, some lose respect for the girl, some even get suspicious!
Depends on the way the move is done. If I dont know you from Adam and you start asking me to be your boyfriend, Yes I will become suspicious! Some of you ladies have also said you would slap the daylight outta some guy who tries to chat you up on the street, abi?  We are also scared of raape  grin no mind my spelling o, twas to confuse nairaland from changing the word.

There are subtle ways for a lady to express feelings to a guy - and a mature guy will appreciate and respect the girl for it.

I am very good friends with ladies that have done such to me (when I was not attracted to them or I was in a relationship) - I have even hooked a few of them up with my friends and some are happily married now.

All you badmouthers, when are you goin to start appreciating your own? Must we always look for flimpsy excuses to knock ourselves down?

How do you expect others to appreciate you when all you do is condemn urselves??

I wonder what happened to motivation and encouragement
CelebritiesRe: P Diddy's $360,000 Gift to his son by kokoye(m): 9:53pm On Jan 28, 2010
SEFAGO:
The problem is not with him spending that type of money on his child. Its about what impact would have on his son's psyche. How do you expect his son to view money and hardwork if the son is getting $360k maybacj? Do you think his son will try and be an engineer vs. a hiphop mogul? Agreed engineers are poor, but what i am trying to say is that his son's respect for hardwork would be diminishing by the minute since he can depend on his father for money.
So what's wrong with being a hiphop mogul . . when you can afford to spend millions of $$ on your kids?

What you guys dont realise is that the hip hop stars of nowadays are smarter than ever. They have huge investments, financial advisors, ecourage their kids to be larger than life and not go for anything less while training them to be successful businessmen and women.

You look at master P and think that nothing good can come out of him. Meanwhile this guy has a degree of the university of Houston and his son (li'l romeo) is also in college and has been a millionaire from his teenage days. But you see them rap on tv and think they're hoodrats.

Whatever diddy is doing for for the media hype and obviously more bucks in his pocket.

The magazine that got exclusive rights to that picture propably paid him much more than the price of the car.

Go figure.

Remember the time diddy complained he couldnt afford to fuel his private jet cos of rising fuel costs?

The media burst his bubble so he came out again to say he meant to say he was a part owner of the jet  grin

The media burst that bubble yet again so he came out yet again to say he was only joking and that he only rents, not own  grin grin

The guy can lie!!  but the media fuels it like we are doing here now  . . so it helps him get his hard on

too much agidi talaka for this thread,

I remember one elderly man in my Ibadan neighbourhood who used to say he did not want to have money like m.k.o abiola because of all his woes.

The same man married another wife when his children abroad started sending him money!

God please bless me with that kind of money o. Not sure I'll buy my 16-yr old a maybach though.

But pls bless me abundantly with good health and wealth so that I can be a blessing to others around me

That's all I ask.

too much bad belle on this thread.

When you got correct money, you aint wasting it.

Part of the reason he bought the car was for the media hype and stuff . . and that seems to always work in this country.

. . . and that is why we are here all talking about it.

dont be surprised if he releases a maybach album tomorrow grin

If you guys know what Nigerians now go thru when visiting yankee, you wont be supporting naija being on the list. It is embarassing.

And before you say everyone should stay put in their country to avoid embarrassment, be selfless for once and think of other peoples' livelihoods.

You sure are a confident one, which is what most matured men appreciate and respect.

Pls do not use text messages for things like these next time. You never know where the message can end up.

Expect the best and I hope the guy treats you with the respect that you truly deserve.

Goodluck.

The Naija church IS the home of gossips.

can I get an AMEN?  grin  grin
RomanceRe: Why Do Some Guys Kiss And Tell by kokoye(m): 8:40pm On Jan 25, 2010
Logical reason:

When you win a trophy, do you keep it in your closet or you display it proudly for the world to see?

It is a trophy for men and ladies have also validated the fact that it is a trophy to be won - that is why they guard it jealously.

It takes a mature (mostly married) man to keep stuff like that to himself. But ALL single men will kiss then tell at least one close buddy.

It is just sad that the abortion piece also came out into the open . . that was hurtful.

I am in no way supporting kiss n tell. I just told you the reason why it happens.

ibkaye:
The thing is, both males and females do it, only kissing and telling usually boosts the guys image (depending how well the session went), as for the female, well, lol.

By the way, when you say 'involved' was it a short term or long term thing? I've found that guys in general became less talkative as the relationship progesses, they're usually more likely to share deatils when things are 'fresh and new', after that it becomes more and more private, something to be honored rather than shared.
Perfect response.

@ poster.

People like you are the reason why fake girls pose and stuff that would normally be cheap are sold at stupidly high prices.

Guess what, have you realised that some really cheap girls already know your line of thought and therefore place themselves on a pedestal so people think theyre of high quality?

and do you know that once in a while, you'll see a piece of merchandise at Neimans for $500 and the same exact thing goes for $120 at TJ MAXX , or DSW??

You dont have to suffer to get a great girl.

A mature and confident girl that already wants you will not stress you at all.  And that does not mean she is cheap.

Pray you meet ur soulmate and see how easy or 'cheap' it will end up.
