deor03:AAHH. Thanks Ojare. God bless. Nzeribe used to sell arms to some other African country . . right? |
What Spiky, you sense someone is in a bad mood? btw, why did you remove your picture?? ![]() |
touchmeder:Yea. Arthur Nzeribe, some former gov / minister who 'borrowed' the generator from the national stadium for his mother's burial in the village. ![]() Dont know if they're related though |
All will be well sister . . God be with you and the medical team. |
buttie:You started this thread and your response above reeks of self-denial. Sorry for your poor lonely luck. |
Would it have been easy for you to shake the feeling if Stella Damascus was some ugly . . . ? |
Nothing wrong with it as long as it makes you happy and you're hurting no one. For all you know, your friend might be happy with the way he's being treated by the g/f. I dont want to say this . . but go get a date and mind your own business! |
untainted:Jaiye Aboderin died a million years ago. Stop disturbing and let him rest in peace! ![]() |
Boring is relative and can be worked on easily. So it's not as big of a deal as some of the points mentioned. |
Sorry. The true love of a poor man is not always appreciated. |
No comments?? I cant believe it. |
A few yrs ago, this young girl I was messing with came to pick me up from work. As I was stepping outta the building, I noticed some guy (she'd just recently met thru another friend) smiling as he got of the phone. I looked into the girl's car and noticed she hung up the phone around the same time the guy did. I got into the car and i asked her who she was on was on the phone with - she told me the guy called her while she was waiting for me. Something told me she was hiding stuff so I took her phone and checked her calls - my number was her last incoming call since I'd called her to come pick me up. Obviously she was the one who called the guy. She started apologizing about lying and I asked why she had to lie - there was nothing official. we were just friends with benefits. But I still felt the pinch though - some girl thinking she could creep on me. We invented that! ![]() I guess that's what we get for messing with underage girls . . .hoping they're not ready for anything serious. |
Finally!! . . . not bad at all.

@ T@meD0 Yeah, the Igbo Olodumare movie was made. I remember very well. By the way, in case you are interested, Efusetan Aniwura is available on Youtube. |

@ poster. thanks for the invitation. I pray our govt takes the power / electricity thing seriously. Like I said, i worked with 2 ISPS back in the 90s when it was all dial-up access. The companies ran on generators virtually everyday and had to bribe Nitel staff daily. How do you run a profitable legit business that way?? Now I know we have bye-passed the dial-up thing mostly with wireless access n cabling but I'm sure most companies still have to buy diesel everyday and also pay heavily to secure cell sites. It will be difficult for prices to down in such situations. God help us all. |
Nice thread guys, Always been interested in telcomms from birth . . the 2 degrees I have are telecomms related. did my internship with Multichoice sevral yrs ago, worked with 2 ISPS in Nigeria. did CCNA and MSCE over 10yrs ago (old school abi?) I'm still in the wireless telecoms field as a Knowledge Management Analyst. Does that count for anything? |
Believe it or not, this applies to every country - no need to single out Naija so you can have a thread going. Here in the states, it is easy to speak good American english (just like it is easy for most yorubas to speak yoruba easily abi?) but tell some graduate Americans to write down what they have just said in words - you'll be surprised and dissapointed! There was this Lockeed Martin's employee who was in grad school with me. He was pissed and went to meet the professor when he somehow found out I got an 'A' in a course while he had a 'B'. He complained that I hardly participated in class discussions so there was no way I coulda gotten a better grade than him. The professor asked him to compare his project work with mine (in terms of layout and grammar). I saw his written English and I could not believe it - terrible. But these are guys who are good in presentations and technicalities . . and they have ready-made proposals anyway. |

brein:I'm sure his pretty face was untouched - they only dealt with him below in areas that'll be covered with costumes. ![]() I pity him . . . but that's tghe way of life in Naija so he should've expected it. I'm sure he's brushed people before as well. |

If Gods word about marriage and love is diligently applied, there will be no divorce. REAL TRUTH:See there. That is the problem. You equate pastors with God. No wonder millions fall by the roadside. |

Audi A4 is cool sure enough. But no one here is telling you that it is a high maintenance vehicle. Put that into consideration. |
fuckmedown:Too late. And you will FOREVER regret being a Nigerian even when good things are happening. Your words not mine |
