why you guys acting like you aint seen it before?? it happened in the movie: Baby Boy!

On the talk show y/day, some lady said if that lower part is smelling of hotel soap or perfume, then most likely the person has cheated. So it aint always that the area will smell of sex. A culprit will always try to cover up their tracks / acts.

I'm sure it is. Imagine my surprise when almost 75% of those polled said they'd dune it.
RomanceThe Real Reason He's Dumping You by kokoye(op): 6:51pm On Dec 18, 2008
Too smart: I once had a friend who was convinced she couldn't keep a boyfriend because she was too smart for the male population. She was positive her staggering intellect was turning them off. Uh, no. What drove the men away (and most of her female friends, as well) was the fact that she was mean. We're talking stupendously cruel. Her definition of smart translated into cutting people down until they felt like the smallest person on earth. Not exactly a turn-on, no matter how cleverly it's worded.

Too nice: Generally, I hear this one more from men, but women are guilty of it, too. Here, the problem is semantics. "Nice" is a desirable quality. Whereas "doormat," "pantywaist," and "milquetoast" are not. Far too many people mistake the latter for the former, and there's a world of difference when it comes to dating. So, no, you're not getting dumped because you're too nice; you're getting the heave-ho because you're spineless.

Too good in bed: You've practiced Tantra, and you've never met a sexual position you wouldn't try at least once. Yet men will get with you one time, and then you never hear from them again. You're not getting dumped because of how well you do it, but because of how hard you try when you do it. Sex should be fun and relaxing -- not an audition for the porn Olympics.

Too intimidating: An amalgam of the "too smart"/"too beautiful" non-dilemma, these women think they keep getting blown off because they're too accomplished, too employed, too gorgeous, too intellectual, too too. The only kind of man who is put off by a kind, smart, beautiful woman with a great career and a fantastic smile is the kind of dolt you don't want to be bothered with dating in the first place. However, these jerks are few and far between. Don't blame your broken heart on his inability to handle your extreme fabulosity. The fact of the matter is that nobody but a psycho is going to dump you be because you're too perfect.

I was listening to a radio talk show this morning and came across a poll - it was suprising at how many ladies said they'd do it or have done it before and theyve caught their men that way.

Here goes

If your partner comes home late and you suspect him / her of cheating, would you ask that they spread so you can inspect that 'area' below the belt by smelling??

RomanceRe: Conquering Phobia: Shyness To Talk A Girl by kokoye(m): 5:31pm On Dec 12, 2008
@ post.

Take it easy man. can't be that bad.

I used to be very very very shy (think I still am but I can fake it now) and back in the days, I used to run away from ladies. But guess what, that used to attract them!!curiosity can kill them ladies

Be comfortable with who you are, don't force yourself to talk when you have nothing to say - or then you'll mess up and that will be worse.  When you talk too much, there's not much the lady wants to discover about you anymore. They can get bored easily too, believe me.

On first dates, I would say only a few words but still got things across easily. The ladies got curious in situations like that and wanted to find out more about my personality - so they'd start asking questions and saying stuff about themselves in the process. That way, I'd become more comfortable with my dates and move on from there.

But again, this might not work for you.  Get comfortable with yourself and find out what works.

Good luck.

If your spouse apologises and you know he truly means it, then let it go. It shouldnt be too hard for you because you got kids that'll make you forget whatever issues ur dealing with.
Personally, it hurts me when I hold a grudge with my wife . . . .because she's become a part of me and it feels like i'm hurting myself. I guess that's why they're called 'the other half'.

don't hold a grudge when the other party is truly sorry. Goodluck.

If he can be this crooked in a system like America (this was a federal crime oo~)
God knows what manner of corruption he would get up to in Naija
Thank you ojare.  My point exactly.

He's only been this 'good' because he is in a system that almost works. So if this same governor was in Nigeria where corruptions shares your mother's other breast with you, he would be in the same ranks with Ibori and the rest of them, if not worse.

Abi, what do the naija governors do that he has not done??

  - Sell a govt position - and talk about it openly;

  -  Have his wife start up an NGO so they can use it to steal govt funds;

  - Get some Chigaco Tribunue employees fired because they're writing against him; even in this recession period!

-  Restrict funds from the Chicago tribune because they wont do his will;

- Knew his line was bugged but did NOT care (typical naijaman's powerbroker move!)

Frankly speaking or typing, the guy na Olosa, barawo and gbewiri alltogether.

If he can do these things in America, imagine what he would do in a lawless country such as Nigeria - he might be worse than Idi Amin sef.

It is not about the system in Illinois - at least Obama came out of it nearly spotless.

This is about some corrupt man who would've been worse if he was in a lawless country.
PoliticsDoes The Illinois Governor Have Some Nigeria Blood In Him? by kokoye(op): 3:07pm On Dec 10, 2008
Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich is in federal custody on corruption charges, a law enforcement official said Tuesday.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/12/09/illinois.govenor/index.html#cnnSTCText

____________________________________________

According to the statement, Blagojevich is alleged to have discussed obtaining:

--a substantial salary for himself at either a non-profit foundation or an organization affiliated with labor unions;

--a spot for his wife on paid corporate boards, where he speculated she might garner as much as $150,000 a year;

--promises of campaign funds -- including cash up front;

--a Cabinet post or ambassadorship for himself.

I think this guy should relocate to naija after serving his jail term - he'll rise to the top in no time!

I'm sure in your heart of hearts (although you might be in denial), you're looking for an African man to marry. Ladies bitch about this every single day but they no dey ever marry the original westerner.

So keep on bitching in your search for the African Man.

You're obviously still a bobo . . that's why ur thinking that way.

When u eventually decide to settle down, ur girl ought to be ur best friend.

when you get married, your wife must come first before everthing else - if you want to be a happy. don't even give her any doubt about what's paramount on your mind.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

But like I said, ur still doing guy guy. Hope ur age is still at that stage though.

Girls hoping for a date too start smiling at your stupid jokes and they give you all their attention and act like saints.

It's understandable.
RomanceRe: Ladies, ever been Woken Up From Your Sleep and pounced on By Hubby? by kokoye(m): 5:28pm On Dec 04, 2008
Well, some ladies enjoy it and some dont. it's all about knowing the kinda woman you got.

I used to mess with this girl who always wanted me to grind her tits with my teeth - think it gave her some exciting pain. I go so used to doin it that I did the same thing on some other girl I met later on - she would say 'ouch ouch' but not stop me, so i thot she liked it too and i kept at it.  she later told me it was hurting her but did not stop me cos she felt I was enjoying it too.

Some ladies like to me roughened up while some like to be treated gently. If youre used to the ladies that like to be treated gently then you go mess with the other type, she'll go around calling you a wimp. and if it's the other way round, she'll call you a maniac.

So it's all about knowing who  youre with.
RomanceRe: Guys: Bare Your Mind by kokoye(m): 5:18pm On Dec 04, 2008
With my wife around, I act in a more respectable manner of course. And my friends do the same to. It's not like i'm faking but just that people will treat ur partner the way you treat him / her. So you got to treat that woman /man with respect outside. We could be walking around naked, cracking on ourselves or talking trash when were alone but yes, that is meant to happen in our closets.
RomanceRe: My Lady Cheated: Even With My Frend! by kokoye(m): 5:08pm On Dec 04, 2008
Yes. relocate. He's become a laughing stock in the neighbourhood - who knows how many guys / girls she shagged. . . maybe the landlord??

relocation does not have to be leave the country or city. he could leave the general surrounding.

AS per the baby, once true paternity is concerned, assume responsibility of course.

who know if they even knew sef but no tell me ?
If ur friends told you - would you have believed them?? I'm sure the girl would've lied on them so you could turn ur back on them.

Anyway, you need to move on. Unfortunately there's a child involved but dont let that get you stuck in a life of misery.

A woman who has a child for you but sleeps around can kill you!

If it happened just once it'll might have been considered a mistake. But she shagged everyone around you to make a fool and mockery of you. Now that she's in school, i'm sure she's using her 'tool' to get passing grades.

Relocate if you can.
RomanceRe: Single And Free; Is It The Best? by kokoye(m): 3:51pm On Dec 04, 2008
Stop the self-denial ojare!

There's no one person on earth who does not want affection.

That's why some people go into depression or become serial killers - cos there's no one to comfort them, talk to them, share their pain or joy when necessary.

Xmas is coming soon - think about being all alone during this time because your friends and family are with their own loved ones.

Again, I aint saying you should kill yourself over it, but stop being in denial.

it is sad just thinking about the whole thing.

Now the computer village in Ikeja was recently closed - it is a good thing to enforce laws but what plans / choices are made available for the traders there, bearing in mind that xmas is very much around the corner.

Most of them might have no otheer choice but to start robbing to survive. Becuase they see the govt officials who closed their shops are having fun and oppressing all over the place.

The whole system is just screwed

CrimeIs Nigeria Really Getting Better by kokoye(op): 2:09pm On Dec 04, 2008
My 82yr old auntie returned to Ibadan from the UK to escape the cold weather three days ago. Armed robbers went to her house around 9am in the morning yesterday, beat her silly and locked her up in a choked up room while they stole everything including the money sent through her to some families for xmas. Again, this is an 82 yr old woman robbed in her own house at 9am.

  I am aware of the increase in jobs and the better life of the so-called middle class, but what is the joy of living in a country where:

- one is scared to enjoy the fruits of their labour.

- the people who can afford it do everything possible to ensure that their kids are not born in that country

- you're not sure of who's stopping you at a check point - police or robbers.

- you're scared to death to go into a banking center or a public gathering

- armed robbers beat up police officers before going on their rampage

- you visit your country and you are afraid of sleeping in your own house

- you're scared ur own siblings might kidnap your kids for a buck

- people now prefer to set up shops, invest and go for vacations in the neighbouring countries like Ghana - whose citizens were chased away less than 2 decades ago

- govt officials must have properties in foreign lands and go abroad for regular medical services

Yea, there are some things improving in Nigeria, but when one thinks of the points I listed above, is my dear country really gettng any better?

Can anyone blame my 82yr old auntie if she decides never to return to the land of her birth??  yea, she might be close to her last days but is that how she wants to go?

God help us all.
