Politics › Re: Defamation: Retract Now Or Meet Us In Court - NBM Of Africa Tells BBC (Video) by komodapson(m): 8:22pm On Dec 21, 2021 |
Love4all24: The BBC documentary committed a lot of fundamental errors and it is right to highlight these.
First, NBM and most other confraternities in Nigeria do not necessarily force you to kill, rob or indulge in crime. I’m saying this because I grew up amongst these people. You are directly responsible for the individual path you choose to follow. The documentary made it seem like NBM tells its members to deal in drugs, fraud, human trafficking and murder. Like every organization on earth, you cannot subject your members to a particular life style. Tuface, Larry Gaga, Davido,Burna Boy, Daddy Showkey, Vector and many more are reputable members of the organization. They are not criminals. Trying then to project the NBM as a type of Mafia where everyone is in on the crime is totally and morally wrong. Yes, there are bad people in NBM but NBM does not make people bad.
Second, the use of footages from EndSARS thugs and other Eiye members arrested in Europe as members of NBM is wrong. The gathering of street thugs as members of NBM is wrong. I’m saying this because I know for a fact that that isn’t what NBM is about. There’s an agenda here to push NBM and other confraternities as those responsible for the mayhem sponsored by politicians during EndSARS
Third, the reporter, is on record to defend the federal government during ENDSARS and denied there was a massacre. All is deliberate to change the narrative. It won’t fly! I read your write up and I quite agree with some of your submissions, but I'm of the opinion why the doc focus on NBM solely? OK..agreed..."the documentary anchor claimed his childhood friend "dapo" was dropped by Axemen"...fine How about Pirates confraternity founded by likes Prof Wole Other fraternities like Ogboni, lodge, Armoc does exist till today for Nigeria, yet nothing is being said or reported by BBC. Inasmuch I do not support cultism, the BBC reportage is unbalanced and they were in a hurry to push false narrative out there. |

I was like boss what’s the problem?? He said he requested bolt and saw 1.9 which is fine by him and the fee is like 4,700 to 5,500… he called the guy and calling his name and told him he’s at the park… could you believe this guy told him straight that he’s going to collect 7k offline…. What

helinues: Well, I wouldn't say it was unthinkable but rather an act of boldness.
So I saw this lady inside the campus, luckily for me, my younger brother was around, so I told him to get me details about the lady.
Before evening same day, I had the info about her name and her house.
Same evening, I took the courage to pay her a visit in her house. When I got there, I met some ladies which are house mates, a house full of Alhajas, the girl too.
The way I asked about her, they thought I knew her before until the lady came out and join the conversation.
She was skeptical and a bit confused when I told her how I saw her and what brought me there. But she was swayed away with my courage and in addition my cologne.
The relationship was actually one of the best cos we were role models to other couples.. Which cologne did you use....I love smell of fragrances |

Dailyparrot: It's official that Uber riders misbehave more than Bolt riders. I think it's because people assume Bolt drivers to be "mad" thus they behave themselves when using Bolt.
Because Bolt restricted me to Card trip yesterday, I used Uber mostly. The experience wasn't funny.
A guy ordered me. When I got to his location following the map, he told me that he didn't understand where I was explaining, that I should come to Whitesand Beach Estate but I shouldn't enter inside the estate.
I drove back to the estate only for him to tell me to drive out a little out of the estate gate to the street that I will see him.
It happens that the guy is in the same street I was earlier that I passed to return to Whitesand Beach Estate. Which means he was inside his house commanding me to be driving around the neighborhood just to locate him. When I entered back to the street, I saw him waving at me.
As I was driving down to meet him, he just entered into one of the houses there and disappeared. To be sincere, I couldn't even point out which house this guy entered because it happened like a movie to me in flash seconds.
I just drove close to the house and parked. Waited for 15 minutes yet this guy isn't out. I called but he refused to pick my calls.
I decided I was leaving. So, I turned on my Bolt app and immediately got a card trip request. As I was turning to pick my Bolt rider, he came out shouting "driver driver", I nearly knocked him out of my way. I just did like he wasn't talking to me and continued driving forward.
He called three times but I didn't pick. Since he wasn't ready to embark on the trip, he should go back to his house and continue whatever he was doing and wait for another Uber driver that will take 20-30 minutes to come and pick him.
These guys think that they can dehumanize drivers simply because they are paying for the services.
I mean, what does it take him to wait for me to get close so he can tell me to give him few minutes to finish up. And, why refuse to take my calls because you think I'm already here so I should wait. Communication, communication makes the difference in everything.
I just canceled the trip after driving forward a bit and went offline. He is just being immature, (probably)deranged and could be suffering from one syndrome I can't really figure out. Just the way and manner some id*ot make prank calls on toll free lines to fire service and ambulances, people do such for rides also. I wonder why? Mind you, these hustle requires a whole lot of cognitive skills, loads of intuition, ingenuity and logic... Examples: If a rider calls and says: "Ògá where are you now" Assumption: be rest assured you're going to pick up an olosho... Note: there's nothing wrong with olosho, they can be good & bad If a rider calls and says: "hello, good afternoon Mr BAZOO" - calls your exact name Assumption: be assured, you're picking up a well discern individual. If you had to call a rider after 5-10mins: he/she is not really bothered about the ride, you can decide to cancel and he/she would reorder. So is left for you to either go or not... If a rider calls and says: "baba where you dey now, we've been waiting for youuuuuuuuuuu Assumption: you're picking up an OG, full of energy, has no time to waste, probably he has ref on or Colorado he might not pay full fare or transaction might not sail thru...lol The best rider : A rider who request, chats and monitors you on the app and he/she is right in front of you as your car approaches - unfortunately... these set of people are mostly the Chinese ,to a large extent foreigners and they are fewer in numbers... |

My first trip this morning to Ojuelegba, rider hasn't paid my 1,700
I know we've all said to confirm transfer before moving. But where I was parked wasnt so much a good place. So I felt she wouldn't run me street. But apparently, bankers too dey scam.
How should I present the matter to Bolt support.
