You just fell into the trap, you just gave your wife something to hold on to.. I don't know why women are this heartless, almost all marriages are having this issue, and before marriage you need to see how these same women will give you all the best position in the world but once them reach house them go put key for tow tow.... It will make you wonder if you are the only one in love,or you are over demanding or you are not giving them good sex or there is another man in their life.. all these plenty thought fit make man loose sanity and for a man who does not want to cheat, loosing his mind might turn him into a monster and do the unthinkable.
Women stop deceiving men because you want to wear wedding gown like your friends because it seems you are after the gown and not the marriage because that gown looks like an achievement to you, if you see a man's labido is too high for you during courtship, kindly quit and tell him your reasons.. Things like this should never be issue for marriage, how woman go stay for a week or more and her husband body nor attracted her, yet she dey shake yansh round house expecting the man to look the other way, is that not witchcraft...
OP, I am not in support of what you did, but if your wife continue with her no sex attitude.. Just leave the house for her, shey she can cook and eat alone... At least if you nor dey see her, you nor go dey turn on.... She destroyed her marriage herself not you... If you get money, lodge hotel, chop better food, if na wine take calm am down.. after all life is more than SEX...
Rightly said, but the guy na broke A$s niqqa jàré...let him focus on making money |

IFSHR: Contributions offer one loan like advantage, and it can go a long way to bail you of situations.
How about someone collecting his/hers to add to it and buy another car, or using it to start a new business, why must someone die or have terminal disease... Be watchful of the energy you give us and try to see things from positive aspect
Put 500k in mutual fund ..after a year the interest on it is not up to 1,500naira.
Nobody is forced to join, I only shared because it help me achieve a milestone last year.
Peace E fit no reach that amount sef, 'cos they are taking the risk on your behalf. Now might be even worse, due to double digit inflation rate, (arbitrary) FX exchange, election year and lots more |

kanuisagoat: My advice to anyone reading this is, don't do it.
1. Someone who has collected money may disappear, may be involved in a road accident leading to loss of life or a may contract a terminal disease. If that happens, part of your money is gone.
2. If you're not the first person to collect, the money would have lost some value before it gets to your turn. N50,000 naira in January is not the same as N50,000 naira in May.
My advice, open a mutual fund account and keep your money there. You earn some interest on it which may not keep up with inflation but is much better than doing the contribution Do you have any reputable portfolio managers? I tried once with stanbic IBTC way back in 2016 or so, but it wasn't what it is. Perhaps, the personnel managers ain't up to the task... |

BAZ001: Seems 2022 is a year of reality and eyes opener in this thread. Just few months ago some folks were advising people to resign their jobs to join the hustle. If you wrote this in July they will say you are pessimistic and discouraging people.
We gather dey. I’ve been attending a seminar since 3rd of Jan and I feel I’ve wasted all my time and energy driving up and down Lagos. I discussed with a young chap fresh graduate and the guy was telling me how easy it is to make money online this days than doing yahoo yahoo. That a lot of legit jobs from home.
I tried one of them and made 32k in 2 days yet we were made to believe that there is no job out there. To drive no just hungry me No mind dem baba. One sure thing have noticed in our society is that - People dislike or oppose to your views when you're being FACTUAL. They'll rather applaud , when you're being economical with the Truth , whip up sentiments and stir up Controversies. That's why, I hardly dish out advice. I'll rather opt for experiencing the task and then make informed Opinion... |

It's Lakowe not ikorodu.
Both Uber and Bolt see that place as Ikorodu reason why one will get request from ikorodu each time you're around that axis. The annoying part is , rider will call and still ask you. "Where are you"? "Are you coming"?

ndubuisi2021: How is it easy for you guys to switch from one accent to the other? I really don't get it. Speak English accurately the way you learnt it, pronounce words correctly. No one will disrespect you for doing that. You don't necessarily have to sound Nigerian and you do not need to start feigning accents
Most of these Nigerians, when you try to correct them about faking of American accent, they always claim that whites do not understand them when they talk the normal way. That's false. They understand you very well when you speak good English and pronounce words correctly. Just learn how to speak and write English not accent
Okonja Iwala, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, they all control whites with their natural accent and rose to the very top. But low lives have serious issues with themselves.
I'm bored at home abeg, let me go out before I derail this thread. Bro, Is just a case of LOW SELF-ESTEEM and IDENTITY crises or complexities as Africans... The likes of Thomas Sankara, Madibba spoke , Fela talk about this taya, yet...Our mumu never do... I'll recommend you read this book..."How Africa was underdeveloped by Europe" - Walter roddri (not sure about name again) Take a look at Chinese and China as a Country. obinoral1179: Most drivers and most Riders are suffering from Entitlement mentality....Na me get car and na me dey pay mindset.... You've said it all. Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you. Now, you've highlighted one of the issues, the second thing you failed to highlight is "Values"... What do you place value on or what are your Values?.... Our country has been thrown to the dogs, several decades back. Some school of thought will quickly rush down and say - "Na values go pay my bills" Yes, it won't pay your bills, but it'll affect your psyche , invariably affect your reasoning ,becomes subconscious, becomes habitual and you could start acting irrational at slightest sound of buzzer Just the way and manner someone said at the utterances of few speeches similar to Donald Trump, his/her customers get doused with ashes of humility. That is "Value" Olosho...wey you go carry inside megamond estate, inside lekki county homes who has being battered since Friday, with her Cappa'd alberto italian contractor man, has worked assiduously for her crispy currency notes - she kon call you.."Oga where are you now" The choice is yours as a Driver - to honour her request or not, depending on your mood, Period of the day and destination as well... Mind you, the Driver has paid his dues also, years of rentals, lastma wahala, police, airport clamp down , breakdown, apogbon - eko bridge-ikorodu car jackers, fake alert, uche pearl cum bolt wahala, unpaid ride to mention a few... But there must be a tangent (meeting point) between riders&drivers...Na that one, no one fit predict... So, whichever suits you.... Don't put the whole blame on Driver/Rider...but rather the entire Society... Gracias.... |

dru23: There is way you handle things professionally .. Do you know how many times customers will call me and ask stupid questions . Some will do like they are doing me favour because they are buying oil from me . Some will order products and not pay .
The way some of these customers talk to me some times is degrading . But I still calm down and be patient with them.
And I hate speaking with an American accent at times.i try to come down to people's level . but once I change it for them with USA accent in a firm and respectful tone of voice . They usually calm down and talk to me with more respect. So at times you have to use different approach for each customers. But overall staying calm and keeping control is the most important thing. Have worked for years in customer service industry . So my customer service skill is pretty good ..... This forum doesn't seem to amaze me. So, immediately you pop up the volume with your so-called "American accent", it turbo charges you and elevates you above others and fall on their knees in adulation... Mehn!!!.... And she'll spread the gospel among her peers. we need to change the face of this rideshare industry for good. I follow a telegram platform of South African Bolt Drivers, which comprises mainly of J'oburg, pretoria, capetown city drivers. Going by their daily ordeals in rideshare, I concluded that Nigeria and indeed Lagos (being cosmopolitan city and microcosm of ehailing industry) has a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng way to go, infact we are not yet there in terms of being urbanely behaved, polite, poise and of good public conduct.
