nizelgirl:Hello bro, hope you're good. We all keep complaining about the price of fish feed , which is true, because feeding accounts for %70 of the operating cost in fish farming while management and the rest accounts for the remaining %30. So what do we do about the feed price? Solution: we look for alternative plant based crude protein (C.P) that we can substitute in replacement for exorbitant fishmeal... Substitute for fishmeal are: soybean &bambara nut But Government at the local&state level need to encourage farmers in the northern part of the country to grow more of this legumes by giving them incentives. We cannot stem the tide of rising fish feed without backing of the Government and Private sector. Cry from now till tomorrow, the capitalist will want to keep ripping the farmers while at the end the Masses suffer |
ahnie:There's nothing called "heltro" , the correct generic name is Heterobranchus while the most c'mon ones that's widely being reared is Clarias gariepinus.... Nevertheless, the fish is a broodstock, they often use them for breeding of fish, by stripping them of their eggs after injection of pituitaries in saline solution or the use of ![]() ?( I don forget the other one..lmao) , it's been over 2 decades now I graduated as an Aquaculturist |
solochris:HOw much is for renewal of expired passport bro, my passport expired in December. Since have been unable to secure U.S visa, I wanna go on vacation in some 3 African countries - SA, Tanzania & Kenya...then I go Kon try my luck again |
Tjra:"Poverty striken Countries"...you may be right to an extent, but the french who ripped those African colonies of all their resources has been chased out. I believe if they have the interest of the masses at heart, they'll go places. Niger has Uranium, and I believe you know the importance of this rare element in nuclear power generation and other radioactive purposes. Gabon, Niger, Mali, Upper Volta are off the wings of their colonial masters, Ivory coast, Algeria and Senegalese need to take a bold step |
fx45:How are you coping with the rising cost of fish feed besides are you producing your feed all by yourself or you're buying ready-made feeds like skrettings, blue crown e.t.c |
Kevinjap:Glad to know the roads are better now, but besides what are the businesses that are thriving in Maiduguri, Bama and other towns now |
Kevinjap:Wow...you're faraway in Maiduguri, I did my youth service in Gombe - several years back and it was fun. Hope the roads are better now. I miss the Northern part of Nigeria |
Benwallt: ...can't stop laughing at this your post...it really calls for urgent investigation |
Bliss62:His love for Agriculture is second to none |
itzFso:I have Hyundai Sonata '06 4 plugs Engine & Gear %100 AC - Mortuary Standard First body Condition - just to make few minor adjustment on the tail pipe and probably get the fuel pump replaced... N1.7m....(asking) |
GeneralZodd:What are the indices for these your postulations, àbí forecast na him I go call am. Besides, there more of fx inflows into the country during the Yuletide season, due to large returnees of Nigerians and Nigerian descent. A significant percentage of these folks have building projects on going and the phenomenon of "if mama could see me now" attributed to most Nigerians - triggers huge spending, these two inferences alone is worthy of note. Secondly, Over $20bn Annual diaspora remittances by Nigerians in diaspora might witness a huge spike, thanks to Japa syndrome and it's impending consequences on the skill-gap deficit back home. We witness quite a lot of migration during the twilight of the Buhari administration & pre-election period, because quite a lot of people thought over 25years American prediction of Nigeria going into conflagration will come to pass, but there prediction is yet to come to pass. So, those that travelled will remit some little $,€,£ here and there, no matter how little. Lastly, to burst your bubble, I'm not an agbadorian but the president is taking some baby steps in the right direction. 1. The return of $150m abacha loot by German Govt. 2. The $2bn WB loan & $1.5bn AfDB yet to be issued but secured by the FG not tinubu just of recent is a plus 3. If the first Saudi-Africa Summit is anything to go by and not a ruse - similar to what the Qatari Government promised few years ago, and they ensure to fulfill there pledge, then that's a huge success, has expatriates will fly in droves from now till the first quarter of 2024, but Arabs are not to be trusted. And many more....like increase in custom duties, dangote 300k barrels production blablabla What you should pray for is, reckless spending from the executives like the purchase of yatch e.t.c, pray for underperformance from both kitchen cabinets and National assembly members, massive corruption on a grand scale level . Pray for high level of insecurity, that it should roar it's ugly heads again, so that another $1bn dollar will be budgeted for arms as it was done in the past during buratai era e.t.c, sha pray for one calamity sha àjálù weh go warrant huge spending or create a halt in the economy - like prolong labor strike like that, from that Nigeria can't get away from it. But the truth is, nothing will happen to Nigeria that the international body won't come to it's aid, why? If war broke out, it will be largest humanitarian crisis the world will ever witnessed in recent years, imagine if 2million out of over 4.8million population of Oyo state enter Cotonou through Saki, with 1 million people around badagry jump fence to other side...is better left to be imagine Sha pray for those few things I highlighted.... |
Gentlechika:I'm doing exceedingly well bro, thanks for your concern, I so much appreciate. |

Nifemi2020:Those airport tow gangs are mean. Sometime early last year, I parked in between cars at the Legend hotel car park, after I dropped off a rider at FAAN housing unit behind the hotel. Naso I decide to take a nap ó, out of the blues....I just hear "Gbraaaa"... pulleys & wenches, dem don jack my car up, squeeze my newly painted bumper, as I was trying to get out of the car to protest, they were closing the door on me...immediately the car was at 45° angle...next thing they said was... " oya...è move é" (with a deep croaky voice). They hopped behind the landrover towing vehicle in a Gestapo style and move into their yard, less than 100metres from the hotel , close to sahara aviation gas tanks... I was shocked!!!..one old baba, came out immediately, deflated the two tyres instantly. Omor!!! That terrible incident further reinstate "giving up" on naija..I lost hope totally for the country, when I learnt the FAAN manager get cut for the money...I wan' craze... Omor!!! Naija don cast.... |

tobisunday:Gaddemit!!! In these trying times. I feel your pain bro. Quick one, there no hard & fast rules about the hustle like that , but the hustle comes with some intriguing moment, in which sadly, you've just being victim of one of such occurrences. So, many advice/secrets has been revealed in the past, but it'll be difficult to locate some, considering the number of pages we've done on this thread. However, note that in this hustle, its you versus the entire world, including Ushe and his app companies. Secondly, No one cares about you , No one owes you anything except for some few comrades, who may be willing to give their 2¢. Embark on the route you're familiar with during daytime and you can take a gamble on some others late in evening - starting from 4p.m ( as task force, Lastma, gbogbo tí gbo go don dey pipe down small by this time) Look out for signs and direction of traffic. Follow your instinct oftentimes as it doesn't seems to fail. Try&watch few 3-4 videos of driverpreneur on YouTube, it'll bring you up to speed about Lagos wahala and all. In all, take this hustle as a stop gap measure, ensure you're looking for other opportunities to augment your finances. In addition, this thread has two factions/groups - The Ants & LazyD - known as LazyDrivers... The two groups are synonymous or could be likened to "Shiite" & "Sunni"... Same cause but different approach... In conclusion, your safety is Paramount. There risk factors associated with this hustle, just like any other side hustle. Make your safety your Number 1 priority. Your family still needs you. All the best bro... Gracias!!! |
