1. My instincts were right about you being an Ob/Gyn.
My mum retired as a Senior Nurse/Midwife with the SRN; SRM designations,

2.
"No it is implanted just beneath the skin upper part of the arm and works for up to 3 years"
Brilliant... I'll read up more on the "contraception implant's" delivery
system and let more folks know about it. I'm impressed with
the 3-year longevity of the product when administered to
the skin surface. I must confess that this is a new product
to me so I had to ask for more info. Imagine that... I originally
thought it was meant to be in the VJ... NOW I know it is the
upper arm of the skin surface implantation

I agree with you on you summations directly above. The Primary
Health Care Centres and simple medical solutions will help to
bridge the traditional and modern lifestyles of those immigrant

Just a quick one... did you know that those people actually use

Akorkor:
How I wish our government can spread their tentacles in establishing more companies to other states in Nigeria. Osogbo is one of the good place I can boast I have lived in Nigeria. Constant electricity, low crime rate, low cost of living, good life, average social life and nice environment to raise a child. I wish our train system is working well, I would have been living in osogbo and work in Lagos. I am not scared of putting things in fridge when I was in osogbo. In fact, some days I prayed there is light off because of frozen food.

If you can get a good job in osogbo, it’s a good place to live. I lived in a one bedroom flat that cost 150k then and I have also stayed in a room self contained before that cost 70k. Transportation as at that time was 30naira. I can leave my house at 7:30 and get to my place of work at 7:40. Sometime I leave work during lunch hour to come to house to eat. Life is good in osogbo and some other state.

Lagos is overrated. I hope people stop rating Nigeria based on their Lagos experience.

The folks there should not be suffering economically

That state should do away with the civil service

You're talking like an ignoramus. Dapo may still have been a child when Arthur made his first billions. That man you're calling Agama lizard is the owner of some of the most lucrative oil wells in Nigeria and across Africa.
^^^^
^^^^
Prince Dapo Abiodun is a billionaire oil mogul and CEO/founder of Heyden
Petroleum. He was also the former DAPMA boss [the umbrella organisation
of depot owners] and that is the reason why he visited Prince Authur
Eze because all these guys in the oil industry know one another! It was
only in the 1990s that Authur Eze made his money from the oil and gas
sector oil wells.

I have a deep knowledge of how the oil wells were allocated to
these people listed below based on a publication I've had in my pocession
since 1991 on the major players that took part in the round of oil
well bidding in the early 1990s.

Prince Authur Eze first made his crude oil billions in the early 1990s
after he and other local Nigeria players such as High Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs,
Theopilus Danjuma, Mrs Alakija's Famfa Oil, Otunba Mike Adenuga, MKO Abiola,
Mr. Afolabi [who is the billionaire father of "LAX" the young Nigerian musician]
and more were given oil blocks offshore to explore... and they spent a lot
of money... running into millions without some of them striking oil and gas
after concluding their rounds of bidding.

Mrs. Alakija, High Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs, Otunba Mike Adenuga, Prince Authur Eze
were fortunate to have struck crude oil and gas rather quickly, but Otunba Mike
Adenuga was the FIRST among all of them to strike oil and gas. grin

The Nigerian-American Kase Lawal who is originally from Ibadan found some oil and
gas with his CAMAC Group, but it was NOT of commercial quantity, so he lost money.
He later struck oil and gas in Colombia in commercial quantity.

MKO Abiola also did not strike oil in commercial quantity.

I hope this helps

1. It’s emergency contraception designed initially to help female victims of unprotected
sexual attacks. It is classified as emergency contraception to be used once per cycle
not every week.
OK... so that is what Postinor is really designed for?... I thought I knew it
all.
grin

2. No. The contraception implant is not the same as femidom. See below
OK... it looks like uncooked spaghetti. So that contraception implant
goes into the VaJay. Sexuality education 101!

3. Regarding what you describe in Makoko - how many of those girls finish school? If the girl child is
not educated the society as a whole does not progress.
Many of the men in Makoko who have affairs with those teenage girls
do not like to use condoms. I was really stunned to read that using
condoms is not part of their so-called culture. There is also a high
rate of STIs among them. I am a firm believer in the maxim...
"When you train a woman, you educate a NATION." Very apt!

4. If sex education is mandatory the uptake would be better
rather than resort to illegal abortions that leave some women infertile
or dead.
You are absolutely right about the mandatory SEXUALITY EDUCATION
thing. It was the knowledge of this from my early teens that also helped
me to take charge of myself and not engage in unsafe sex with the opposite
gender. If it worked for me as a then younger man... then it can and will
work for a lot of young females who are the most vulnerable in the sexual
hierachy in most societies.

Open just ordinary dry port in south east or south south... Lagos IGR will drop.... We know those making it possible
^^^^^
^^^^^
Just a quick one @ezenwajosh

Slightly over 70 percent of all the cargo coming into Nigeria is meant for the South-West States of
Lagos and Ogun because of the massive industries there... INFACT Ogun State has the highest
number of industries in Nigeria. So the Lagos and Ogun axis will continue to receive goods from
the Seaports for a long time to come. The remaining 30 percent of goods head for the Northern
States and the other parts of Nigeria. This information is from official Nigerian Maritime sources. grin

Lagos axis is also closer to the Atlantic Ocean and is the closest gateway to Europe, America,
Canada, and West Africa by sea from the manufacturing centres in the West and North of
Nigeria.

Most of the cargoes coming into Nigeria are meant for the the manufacturing industries that
bring their raw materials in large containers. Again the LAKAJI route [or LAGOS, KANO, JIBIYA]
are the busiest cargo or business routes in Nigeria.

Warri port, Calabar and Onitsha are River Ports with shallow water levels.
They are NOT Seaports that have deeper water levels that can take in
BIG ocean - going cargo ships and are considered not profitable
destinations for international shipping companies. These River Ports
do NOT have what you call Destination of Cargo ... meaning that there
are not enough industries in those areas that will make it profitable
for the shipping companies to bring in containers and take away
containers with goods in them!

Even with Ibaka Deep Sea Port or Bakassi Deep Sea Port coming
on stream, The Lagos Seaports... including the Lekki Deep Sea Port
will always be active because of location. Lagos IGR will continue
to GROW because of the access to the sea and West Africa borders
and markets!

Inland Dry Ports are very important but they have to be linked

Calabar, etc

MajorJeffery:
I've done this before here with an old moniker about two years ago or so but this still persist. What can I do? I'm already thinking of seeing a therapist but I thought I should raise it here again.

This happens at least three nights every week and in recent dreams, I see myself trying to help him achieve a feat.

The irony is that sometimes in the dream, it occurred to me that he was dead but yet I still not cared.

This is 10years now that I lost him in a road accident. Even as teenagers, we were so close that we shared clothes and some people thought we were blood brothers.

I discussed this with his mum sometime ago and she told me she had a feeling her dead son was existing somewhere and that got me thinking. Could this be true?
^^^^^
^^^^^
@MajorJeffery, this is the first time I'll be sharing this with
anyone.

Well we [soul] are all occupying the physical body. It is like a
piece of cloth that we put on and discard at the end of the day.
There is nothing to be worried about because some of these things
are symbolic and there are lessons to be learned.

Mum passed in December 2010 and occasionally I have vivid dreams of me
and her talking and I learned from her. I know she is fine where she is and
I have NO fear because it is a communication between 2 souls. One passed
on to a higher spiritual dimension... and is operating at a higher state of
vibration than our physical planet. After my mum passed and I first had a vivid
encounter with her in my dream, I thought she was ALIVE and I was very
happy, but when I WOKE, I became sad because it was in the dream
state. But I'm always learning when occassionally I have those
encounters with her. Her mission in the physical world had ended
and we are going through our unfinished business too on earth.

People have given vivid accounts of "near-death-experiences" where they
saw their physical bodies while in the hospital operating room or accident
sites, and where pronounced dead. But they later came back into the physical
bodies to give a vivid account of what happened while they had been certified
dead. It shows that there is life after the so-called death of the physical body,
but on a higher state of vibration. grin

There is even another product that you can use

Females should stop taking RISKS because the

hormonal changes can make ovulation come earlier

No doubt, a lot of men are clueless about the

The defunt "Okada Airline" was founded in 1983 with rights to fly domestic routes

It's a female cobra. OP, you, under no circumstances, eat the internal organs and eggs of a snake!!!

You are lucky sha. That snake was probably looking for where to lay eggs and the next generation of cobras would have been born

Kindly respond to this... Is it bad to eat the
Viscera[the internal organs and eggs of a
snake as you indicated or you were just joking?]. grin grin

I've never eaten a snake and I NEVER WILL
because of what I've seen on Discovery
Channel's Predators Gone Wild.

Those animals have killed people and other
animals as well. I've seen a cobra kill a male
lion on Nat Geo Wild.

Even lions attack giraffes and elephants
with impunity now in the African wild
jungles. I just dislike snakes, lions, and
crocodiles when they attack especially
human beings. grin

Yeah, NL has real people who are members, otherwise I would
have stopped using NL because of some trolls who populate
especially the politics section. Since 2005 that I started using
NL, I have met a lot of good people and wrapped up businesses
on here.

Concorde was a great plane... unfortunately I never got to
fly on board that plane and I regret NOT doing so. That Air France Concorde
plane crash on July 25, 2000 in France due to a burst tyre which shattered
the fuel tank as it was taxing off from the tarmac caused the tank
to burst into flames and within 6 minutes after take off, it
crashed into a hotel near the airport as it was trying to land
again... killing all passengers and people on the ground as well.
See one of the amateur videos taken by people on the ground
as the plane flew a a ball of flames below:

Last but not least, Nigeria Airways was an iconic airline
with up to 30 planes in the 1980s, but the mismanagement of the
late 1980s right up to the early 2000s killed it. I was very proud
of Nigeria Airways then and even the Airbus A310 was the biggest
and widest of the planes in the Nigeria Airways fleet aside from
the leased Boeing 747 planes. Nigeria actually ordered for
those 4 Airbus A310s from the Airbus factory in France and
it was delivered during the General Buhari headship of Nigeria.

I flew Nigeria Airways several times within Nigeria and to destinations
abroad.

Some corrupt people in government and their wives... and other
family members were entering those planes without paying... and
these are people that could afford to pay. So the new model for
a national career with the impending new Nigeria Air has to be
private sector-led.

APC won all the Senatorial seats in Ekiti and delivered votes for PMB
in all the LGAs were APC won. It is some internal wranglings
within some APC states in the West, such as Ondo and Oyo especially
that led to the marginal loss in those states to APC and
this should serve as a lesson to APC to resolve issues
quickly instead of allowing their aggrieved members with BIG
EGOS to go to court or to leave the party like in those states
across Nigeria.

Other political parties also had internal issues like
the PDP did in Ogun State where Gbenga Daniel formerly
of the PDP ended up supporting Prince Dapo Abiodun of
APC who happens to be his close friend. grin

Buruji Kashumu of the factional PDP also immediately
visited Prince Dapo Abiodun to congratulate him on
his victory at the polls on the platform of APC.

AutoReportNG2:
Talk of a man who sees opportunity in strange and dangerous places in Africa, the name Dangote may be within the first 10. Dangote, the richest man in Africa is leaving no stones unturned in making sure that the Dangote Refinery comes to actualization and this time, very soon. Dangote is known as a guru in household items like sugar, salt, cement, noodles and lots more. This time, the billionaire is spreading his tentacles to oil and gas.

While there have been mixed feelings in the sector over the actualization of this dream and if this refinery won't be delay due to the Nigerian factor, the Executive Director Devakumar Edwin, who oversees the project, described the suggestion that the refinery is unlikely to start production until 2022 as the product of “someone’s wild imagination”.

“Ninety-five percent of engineering has been completed, 90 percent of procurement has been completed.” “We started civil works in July last year and we have scheduled 2-1/2 years for mechanical completion,” he said, referring to the point where a plant is ready to be handed over for commissioning.

Aliko Dangote himself had said he hoped to finish building the refinery, which will cost between $12-14 billion in 2019 and to start production in early 2020.

AutoReportNG got some exclusive images and videos from the construction sites and we noticed some giant construction ongoing at the site, they are so massive that ordinary cameras either phone or traditional ones cannot capture its magnificent except drones. It will be a miracle if National Geographic didn't feature this on its documentary channel. Base on the images, we saw that the Temp. Pier & Underwater Pipe Lines Construction is underway about reaching its conclusion, we also a gigantic distillation component. It is learned that the component is one of the biggest in the world as the refinery is billed to start producing petroleum and allied products later this year.

The 650,000 barrel per day (bpd) refinery near Lagos, is Africa’s biggest and is expected to turn Nigeria from an importer of refined products into an exporter, transforming global trade patterns.

These are images and videos AutoReportNG got for you.

Magnificent... grin

Just a quick observation. Because cars in some countries
are transiting to alternative sources of energy or fuel
does not mean that the Petrochemical industry will be
obsolete.

Petrochemical plants actually need a lot of liquified
petroleum gas as raw materials and the demand in China, India,
and the rest of the world is growing exponentially.

I know that Airbus planes are very fuel efficient and better in tech but I'll like to get more opinion. Also, I've noticed that older and experienced pilots prefer Boeing to Airbus while younger ones prefer Airbus especially A330.

Even passengers are not left out. Many always look forward more to flying A380 than they look forward to flying B787Dreamliner.

Pilots and frequent flyers, your opinions are needed.

NB: I'm not a commercial airliner pilot though I'll consider it much later.

"Gba fun Olorun Airways" is the best... grin

"Gba fun Olorun Airways" means "Surrender to God
Airways" in English.

Okay... I love Airbus products. The first Airbus I ever flew
aboard was a Nigeria Airways Airbus A310 in 1988
to Abidjan in Cote d Ivoire... just next door to
Ghana and it was a fantastic, wide body aircraft. I also
flew back to MMIA Lagos from Abidjan on board another A310.
Nigeria bought 4 Airbus A310s in the 1980s and non ever
crashed.

I have also flown aboard the Boeing 787 Dreamliner
and it was pure heaven. Premium Economy section.
Very sleek plane IMHO.

Airbus products give me more confidence though
because they seem to have less historical aircrashes in
my opinion. So, yes I give it to Airbus and look
forward to flying that big bird called Airbus A380
before they phase it out like they did to the Super
Sonic plane called Concorde, which was phased
out by British Airways and Air France after the
very fatal plane crash in France in the year 2000.
On July 25, 2000 precisely.

Lagos could hit N400bn in IGR in 2018. It currently accounts for over
35% of IGR receipts by states in Nigeria.

How is your state doing on the IGR board?

Can Nigeria really grow without functional states with distributed wealth
and tax receipts?

Lagos is definitely in SAFE HANDS with Governor-elect, Babajide Sanwo-Olu
and his deputy on the way to making the state the 3rd largest economy
in Africa from the 5th position she occupies right now.

Ogun and Oyo States need to take advantage of the closeness to Lagos
to rev up their own IGR as well.

Yes correct... but the Ndoki or Ukwa East LGA part of Abia which produces
the small crude oil and gas also extends into Rivers State. Infact, the larger
part of Ndokiland is in Rivers State and they are some of the biggest
producers of crude oil and gas income for Rivers State. It is from the oil and gas
fields of the Ndoki people that gas is being tapped for the proposed
Geo Metrics Power Plant in Abia which will soon be inaugurated.

There was a time in 2009, I read online that some Ndokis of Ukwa East

because Abia governments allegedly where not taking good
care of them ... and they lacked infrastructure as oil producing
communities. grin
