Toks2008:^^^^ ^^^^ Hi @Toks2008 Thanks for your input here. I actually attended the U.S. Embassy-organised 2007 CTO Annual Conference at MUSON Centre on Lagos Islandand the copies of "Technology Times" were circulated to attendees. Seun was actually interviewed in that publication. If I can get my hands on it, I will scan it and upload on NL. On the other hand... you might be very correct that Seun is 36 years because some typographic errors take place while printing publications sometimes. Thanks again for the information on these little details such as Dates of Birth. |
emeijeh:^^^^^^ Seun was born in 1985... so is 33 years in 2018 and NOT 36 years. He was 20 when he started Nland in 2005! I read a copy of "Technology Times" in 2009 and his real age was stated in that publication which I still have in my Personal Library. I've been using Nland since 2005 and it is a very functional Website. Happy Birthday to Seun... and more power to his elbow! ![]() |

Father MC - "Treat Them Like They Want To Be Treated" Album: Father's Day Released: 1990 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuACz0pKCmE Classic "Hip-Hop/New Jack Swing" from back in the day! ![]() One of my favorites ever...1990... wow! "Father MC was a popular African American rapper for the Uptown Records label in the early 1990s. Discovered and signed by then-Uptown executive Sean "Puffy" Combs, he is best known for introducing the public to Uptown's successful R&B act Jodeci. Father MC straddled the line between hip-hop and new jack swing, which resulted in a number 20 hit, "I'll Do 4 U," from his debut album Father's Day in 1990." ^^^^^^ ^^^^^^ Lyrics Treat 'em like they wanna be treated You should treat 'em right (Repeat 4x's) Yeah, oh yeah What you need to do... You should treat them right. Oh, yeah Why girls play with my feelings? I don't know so that's why I ask Maybe it's true that I set myself up But then again it's the question I asked I want someone for me who is straight A kind of cutie. Yes, yep, a smart mate I've been around searching for the right one But it seems like a waste of my time Every time that I meet the right 1 It seems as if she plays with my mind So it makes me on the defense side Because my offense is sort of slow It doesn't pay to tell someone "I love you" Because in my vocab "I love u" is a no, no I think I give in. My feelings, they show I think I'd better not look back I've been down a little too long And now it's time that I get on track So I must... Treat 'em like they wanna be treated You should treat 'em right (Repeat 4x's) Yeah, oh yeah What you need to do... You should treat them right. Oh, yeah I like to mingle when I do mingle I love to mingle when I do flirt I get off hand and tell the stories About my past & that's when it hurts But I need to find for me a lonesome lady type Who wants me for self A woman who wants me because of Father Not for the fame or for my wealth So I can "Show her how I feel" Yeah, ladies I'm not that picky But being picky is just for self I must protect what I respect And that is me & not someone else I've been mistreated up on the downhill Back in the days I used to be strong I used to flirt, hurt, kind of jerk Get the cash, the sex then I'm gone But payback is a mother And now I don't know who to trust So I just... Treat 'em like they wanna be treated You should treat 'em right (Repeat 4x's) Yeah, oh yeah What you need to do... You should treat them right. Oh, yeah Yeah, you know women? Yeah they tell me I'm lovely & cuddly but I just don't understand why they want to play with my feelings. But it won't happen again. Nah, never. So listen ladies I'll treat you How you treat me back in return. I'm not rude. No, I'm not stuck up But my feelings are my main concern So don't think that I'd give in Cause now I know how to show My feelings when I get involved I'll take it slow before I say "Oh, No" I'll treat you like you treat me I'll be straight loyal & all So don't take advantage of Father Because I'll step up but not crawl So give me what you can give me Love, attention, a lot of respect I don't ask for a whole lot But I'm gone if you wanna step That's why I like to take it slow Not rush because I want more The next time that I fall in love Hmm, you bets I'll be sure Chorus So ladies... now y'all know how I'm living... & y'all know what I'm about. And that's the end. So if you feel you can commit, come & give it a shot. Songwriters: Mark Rooney/Mark Morales/M.C. BoneBlogger:^^^^^^ Those security guys even wore BALACLAVAS [face masks] in the states of Ekiti and Osun in 2014 to intimidate and arrest the opposition members. Who can forget the NEGATIVE role of Marylyn Ogar the female DSS spokeswoman under GEJ. Captain Sagir Koli's secretly tape recording further exposed the lie in the 2014 Ekiti elections. READ MORE HERE On Captain Sagir Koli's Whistleblowing: ==>https://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2015/02/07/why-i-leaked-ekiti-election-rigging-tape-nigerian-army-captian/ Captain Sagir Koli who leaked the #EkitiGate audio and documentary which had Governor Ayo Fayose, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, Iyiola Omisore, Brigadier General Momoh and others planning how they will stifle and trample the opposition using the military and other security agencies said he did it for the unity of Nigeria and the military. “In order to strengthen the unity and continue existence of Nigeria, I call on the federal Government to desist from using the military for partisan politics. This is to avoid the military from being divided along ethnic and regional lines which is dangerous to the defence of the nation,” Koli said. C. They ordered the arrest of selected APC stalwarts that could greatly assist the party during the election including the DG campaign organisation for Dr Fayemi Mr Bimbo Daramola. APC members in Ekiti State should be interviewed of what they went through. We were forced to do a dirty job for them with a threat of court martial. D.They directed that soldiers must block APC members’ access to the electorates but all PDP supporters’ movement anywhere using a designated sticker with inscription, “National Security Task” it should be noted that some of these PDP agents were given NYSC uniforms because we were well briefed by the commander. 4. However efforts to explain my grievances prove abortive due to the military dictatorial hierarchy in channel of communication vis a vis threat of court martial from the commander. I resorted to alert the APC high level officials with the aim of stopping Army from partisan involvement during election. A week to the election, the commander came back from Abuja and he made revelations being their final arrangement on how the PDP was to become victorious in Osun state as follows: A. After welcome address by the commander, he thanked all his staff officers, and said “you all know who we are working for, so you guys MUST follow my direction. I am working for the presidency and the ruling party as you all know, is no longer a hidden thing” for those of you who are moles among us, the presidency is watching you, be careful because the consequence will be severe. I learnt that some of you went to Lagos and met with Tinubu without knowing that his line is already bugged at Abuja, then we are in trouble, but before somebody will kill me I have to kill him first” (referring to me). The commander asked how many of us were involved, that I should say the truth, he now held a secret talk with the operation officer and military police officer to tie and handcuff me to Army HQs, from there I know that my life was in danger.
Fayose the comedian. He is nothing but a drama king. He should join Nollywood ASAP. We say no to Pity Party. We were looking at the video on YouTube and we can't stop laughing, especially looking at his wide BIG MOUTH and him shedding crocodile tears . Comedian of a guy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2G8KXFJI8c
^^^^^ ^^^^^ I agree with you. Ayo Fayose is a bloody liar! I actually monitored his first entry into the rally on AIT via online streaming with the cervical collar [neck brace] round his neck and he walked a relatively long distance to the podium. He even spoke and held the microphone by himself. He then walked back the same relatively long distance again and when he got to where the journalists from Channels TV and AIT where he started faking extreme neck pain and over-acting. He then started crying in the most embarrassing way... and when Seun Okinbaloye of Channels TV asked him if he was crying... He said his neck was severely paining him and talking all kinds of trash to deflect attention. If it is TRUE that his neck was paining him he would NOT have been able to walk that relatively long distance at the rally venue - the ambulance would have been brought closer to the podium to pick him. Instead he walked a long distance to the ambulance from the podium. It is inconceivable that the police would beat up a State Governor which is a criminal offence. If it really happened I would have been the one defending Ayo Fayose... but even the senior police boss respectfully spoke in TV that the police would never beat a Governor up. I'm an expert in decoding people's body languages... Ayo Fayose's first movement on foot into the rally yesterday was NOT the same as his exit. He did a very shameful, stupid and embarassing things... crying and all that for the television cameras and to manipulate Ekiti citizens to vote for PDP. My friend Sen. Dino Melaye also wore a cervical collar [or neck brace] when he returned to the senate and he also pretended he was in pains, but that same day and subsequently, he was moving his head properly and laughing even with the neck brace. ![]() These guys are some of the greatest pretenders I have ever seen and Ekiti people must vote the PDP out of that state because he is owing civil servants 8 months unpaid salary this year and also pensioners. He has also messed up the accounts of that state and is trying to use Eleka to cover his tracks. More financial scams in Ekiti Government circles will be exposed if PDP is voted out of that state. Ekitis deserve better that this rubbish from SIMPLETONS! Most so-called a graduates have also engaged in petty trade, network marketing or home-based production to "leap frog" and become wealthy entrepreneurs. Coolio - Gangsta's Paradise [feat. L.V.] Official Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPO76Jlnz6c ^^^^ ^^^^ ^^^^ "Gangsta's Paradise" is a song by American rapper Coolio, featuring singer L.V. The song was released on Coolio's album of the same name, as well as the soundtrack for the 1995 film Dangerous Minds. It samples the chorus and instrumentation of Stevie Wonder's 1976 song "Pastime Paradise". ^^^^ ^^^^ "Second Video" "Coolio Performs Gangsta's Paradise With UCLan Students In Preston" Students were treated to a surprise intimate gig with rapper Coolio after the Gangsta's Paradise singer swung by to cook dinner when they met him on a night out. The University of Central Lancashire students stifled their giggles when Coolio broke into song while chilling on their sofa in Preston. Student Olivia Johnson-Aley, who uploaded the video onto YouTube, said she met Coolio on a student night out and the rapper offered to cook for her and her housemates. He trotted off to Tesco's and so begun the rather surreal evening. Posting on reddit, one of the students wrote: "He was playing a gig in our city, and a few of my housemates were in the VIP after party. He came back to our house afterwards, and told us that he wasn’t busy that night so would come over and cook us dinner. "We had Coolio’s Caprese Salad, Chicken á la Daaaamn, and Peach Crumble. We also videoed a cooking show ('Cookin’ with Coolio'). It was just as weird as it sounds. "Great guy though, had some very deep and profound thoughts on life and his time in the business." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCyvv8VJJMQ ^^^^ This ["Gangsta's Paradise"]is one of my all-time favorite songs!
