PoliticsRe: Abia To Employ 50,000 Youths by Koolking(m): 4:30pm On Jul 10, 2011
I am not going to be shocked if after this administration, gov orji is credited with creating 50,000 jobs as one of the achievements of his ill-fated [s][/s]administration. He has yet again mocked at the joblesss plight of the Nigerian youths by promising 50,000 jobs that is not achievable practically but in papers and record purpose.

Revolution would for sure annihilate this set of politicians

PoliticsRe: Arrested Boko Haram Members Won’t Face Prosecution - Sss by Koolking(m): 4:29pm On Jul 05, 2011
This our SSS acts like the normal NFP. They cook up stories tryn to justify their efficiency. I am sure those arrested are not boko Haram members but victims of circumstance, those found at the wrong place at the wrong time.

FamilyRe: Does Marriage Mean More Expenses? by Koolking(m): 8:04pm On Jul 04, 2011
Marriage becomes more expensive than being single if you marry the wrong person. Wrong person makes marriage regrettable.

He who finds a good wife finds a good thing and obtain favour from GOD. This is a divine commandment not fairy tale.

Even married to the right person, marriage has its ups and down, as DA DOCTOR puts:
Da Doctor:
@poster
Marriage has its challenges financially, but the gains out weighs same.

If one intends to go into it somday. same should be with courage.

But from experience.,,,IT WILL SAVE YOU A WHOLE LOT OF MONEY AND U WOULD KNOW U ARE INVVESTING IN YOUR FUTURE RATHER THAN WHIRLING AWAY YOUR HARD EARNED ON SOME HOT LADIES AND FRIVOLITIES.

For me, i am happy taking care of my family cos IT ISNT A WASTE, BUT AN INVESTMENT
You should not dread the ups & down in marriage, it is about being responsible

@ Da Doctor: It's been quite ages, how has it been?
RomanceRe: "will you marry me?"- Ladies Proposing? by Koolking(m): 6:20pm On Jul 03, 2011
There is nothing absolutely wrong. Feminists preach masculine and feminine equality. Obviously, nuptial invites bear ''Mary weds Dan''.

in fact, women should be proposing

There is no big deal in diversifying. it's one of the beautifies of freedom. Happiness can be found anywhere if one opens one's heart to tolerance.

It is my yearning. Religion, race, tribe, I have no reservation whatsover.
CelebritiesRe: Chirsty essien Igbokwe Dead by Koolking(m): 2:08pm On Jul 01, 2011
She was one of the finest celebrities (musicians) Nigeria ever had. Her music inspired a lot of Nigerians and inflamed unity in Nigeria and beyond.

May her soul rest in peace.

PoliticsRe: Why Exactly Is Allison Madueke Being Haunted? by Koolking(m): 3:21pm On Jun 30, 2011
She is not being haunted. As a public [aspiring public] servant we should be ready to be enthusiastically opened to probe if we feel we are clean to take up the public service. I don't see anything wrong in inquiring some clarifications from her based on our records given.

Afterall, Nigerians are feeling the pangs of Kerosine cost under her watch as the head of that sector.

FamilyRe: Is It True That Ladies From Broken Homes Are Not A Good Wife Material? by Koolking(m): 3:33pm On Jun 29, 2011
I don't subscribe to this. good and bad are choices. They are not necessarily the direct result of influences [broken and unbroken homes].
RomanceRe: Can Ex-lovers Remain Friends by Koolking(m): 2:32pm On Jun 28, 2011
'Being in Love' and 'being friends' are two different things. I wonder why ex-lovers can never remain [best] friends, irrespective of their differences which made 'em 'ex'.

Same applies to divorced couples. I believe, once a bond is created between two, it should not be broken completely whatsoever.
CareerRe: Is There A Market For "knowledge Tourism" In Nigeria? by Koolking(m): 2:20pm On Jun 28, 2011
faceurbook:
Nigerians shud re-orientate demselves, there is world out there dat is beyond Naira and Kobo. Try move around and no say, the world is bigger than the spot we are standing on. Volunteerism opens us to opportunities, I have been in workcamps with people from diverse race and orientation. We are all born to be free to experience life from different angles, change environment and feel fresh air sweeping through your mind. I have made friends through  various work camps (Ghana, Kenya, Botswana, SA).  I was invited last month to join them in Macedonia for a building project but couldn't go because of engagements despite they were paying for fare and arranging Visa.  They no longer see you as a Nigerian but another willing heart whose hands are willing to serve. Nigerians shud begin to look in volunteerism, you can start from your neighbourhood, You can volunteer 2 hrs on Saturday mornings to teach kids Maths/English. In Ghana, I with some volunteers from UK, Canada, US, Barbados taught some Street kids English for 2 weeks, the impact was life changing. All it cost me was a bargain N25,400 return ticket to Ghana, the host Volunteer group fed and accommodated us.

That people came from outside Ghana because of them, inspired the kids to focus during the period.

Look at the public schools, kids are not getting anything out of the system (if you want 2 laugh tell them to write a composition grin) one can take up a school let say Primary 6, focus on their maths and English for 3hrs every Saturday, I tell by the end of a term, these kids are transformed and would neva 4get u. Some years ago, I volunteered in a public school in Enugu (Lagos public school looks like a private school in comparison to theirs) every saturday I drilled about 16 pupils of Primary 6 on English Language, Verbal Aptitude, Maths and Quantitative Aptitude from the not itoo nterested in education village kids, 2  of the kids made it to Federal Govt Girls College Lejja Nsukka and Federal Govt College, Okigwe.

Make out time, it counts cheesy
I MUST SAY, I AM DEEPLY INSPIRED. THE LIKES OF YOU MAKE ME A PROUD NIGERIAN. IF MOST NIGERIAN COULD BE RE-ORIENTATED TOWARDS COMMUNITY SERVICE EVEN TO OUR IMMEDIATE ENVIRONMENT, THE SKY WOULD BE A STARTING POINT NOT THE LIMIT [FOR EXPLOITS]. I WISH 'COMMUNITY SERVICE' COULD BE ENTRENCHED IN OUR SCHOOL CURRICULUM. IT WOULD BE A MILESTONE TO ATTITUDINAL CHANGE IN MOST NIGERIAN.

YOU ARE A GREAT PERSON FACEURBOOK, THE WORLD NEEDS YOU

THANK YOU

CelebritiesRe: Winners Of 2011 Bet Awards ,tuface, D Banj Win Best International Act by Koolking(m): 1:12pm On Jun 28, 2011
D Banj!!!! grin grin grin grin angry angry angry naw, naw, naw, naw. Is it becos of his collabo with Snoop? To me D banj no biam.

Anyway, BET award is not a true representation of talent. Oscar, Grammy, MTV are the best.

I can't imagine why Bruno Mars was not recognised for his Album. Lazy song, Grenade, Just the way you are, deserve awards. Nicki Minaj rocks. She is the hottest. I like the identity she creates for herself.

Arrant stupidity! If compromising homophobia [compromising our stance on homosexuality] is the condition attached to the aids, then we don't need the aids. To hell with their aids.

Virtues are not traded in Africa.

PoliticsRe: Is Fashola Over Celebrated? Or He Is On Vacation by Koolking(m): 6:40pm On Jun 23, 2011
prodam:
No you are getting me wrong!!
Obama should be on the public platform more than any leader in the world and as such much is expected from him
the same thing applies to Fashola among other governors in Nigeria.
as for reckoning, physically He is free but spiritually,  no one is free including you and I
Prodam my brother, safe your energy, I am not here to argue with you over fashola and his achievements. Media propaganda in Fash's favour has brainwashed and made naivety of most Nigerians. Reality has been beclouded by sentiments. The bottomline is: Lagos State status [human and infrastructural]  is far below the daily revenue generated. Development vis-à-vis tax [revenue] does not commensurate.

It is high time we stopped celebrating incompetencies and corruption. We will all be judged by posterity.

God bless us!
PoliticsRe: Is Fashola Over Celebrated? Or He Is On Vacation by Koolking(m): 5:07pm On Jun 23, 2011
@Prodam:
you digressed, nobody talked about Obama [Obama is not fashola; and Obama is not my role model]. I don't have any reason to blame you for believing in fashola but not in reality, afterall, we are free to believe in anything. The truth will always be bitter my brother. A day of reckoning will soon come.

FamilyRe: Guys, What Do You Consider To Be A Fair Dowry? by Koolking(m): 11:11am On Jun 23, 2011
To me, this dowry of a thing should be done away with. It makes most married couple take each other and their home for granted. The wife would say, "how much did you pay for my dowry?', and the man would say,  "I paid through the nose to get you, and yet you are a liability to me. Even as a property, you are no good".

Young men nowadays, are discouraged due to the financial implications of marriages in some quarters. Most families (the bride) see a would-be husband to one of their daughters as an opportunity to acquire all things overnight. As if that will be the end of their relationship to the potential son-in-law, hence their aggressiveness in becoming wealthy overnight.

Me feel, most marriages or would-be marriages will work when we are done away with some of our conventional marriage approaches, and families [especially the bride’s] tend to encourage, support their daughters by investing in projects that will impact positively on the couples’ post-marriage life. The resources [in monetary term and otherwise] could be harnessed by both families rather than harping on dowry. Dowry, is like selling your daughter to another family.
