I was shamed to see this report on front pages of Newspaper; TV stations carried the news as major bulletin. His return is not that important to me to celebrated or trumpeted. It was a wrong diversion of attention from major issues. I asked myself; what and how has Gbenga's return contributed to solving the myriads of political/social/economical problems of this country? It he is one of the corrupt ex(s), he should be prosecuted. Enough of these praise-singers |

Jay Okocha will always be missed [not in death]. He was the most entertaining player ever come out in Africa not just Nigeria. I weep at his rather early exit from soccer arena. He is my all time best in the Nigerian team. |

Making a gain of N235,000/per units X 400 = N94,000,000. I am sure he made more than that at a discounted prices considering the quantity involved. He is a serious business man. I don't support death sentence. The world is battling to do away with that. Life imprisonment or the culprit is made to do community service for a reasonable number of years with severe parole; and some of his/her rights as a citizen are stripped (becos he has been convicted and seen as an ex-convict). In developed countries, if you are a public figure and your are convicted of any crime, forget your social relevant, you are a nobody. You record is RED anywhere. If we apply these, public offices will be scary to unscrupulous elements. |

It is heritage. I was born into it and It will continue. It was symbolic. It signifies oneness: why? I remember when I was a kid, my mum would make us (3 children) share in the same bowl of soup or rice. She would caution us to spare the meat/fish until we finish eating, and the eldest among us would be asked to share the meat/fish equally among us. I guess, it was another way of attaining satisfaction even when the food was not enough. |

If you are not married (man or woman), you are SINGLE. Be in a relationship or not. YOU ARE SINGLE. Even while engaged, you are still single. Until you are married. Engagement is never consciously or unconsciously regarded as marriage. Live in husbands/wives or common law wives/husbands are not recognised as married. SINGLE will always be the opposite of MARRIED in relationship terms. |

You should not allow the blemish of most Nigerians pollutes your mindset about your origin. Me know this will not work. The Nigerian [Inec/court] factor of course, will suppress such move. It will take Inec/court over 4years to reach a referendum. Not until our constitution is seen as sacrosanct, we will continue to move in a circular form. |
