domopps: Tithe is a special platform that God has ordained or reserved for our Financial Fortune but it takes who God has open his/her inner eye to see and walk in the platform! God doesn't need tithe neither does the pst do but individuals that are paying it needs it to provokes God's blessings upon their lives........once your pst make them see the realm they are expected to walk with God the DRAMA earlier in your church was not needed!
Cheeeeeeers I just hope you were kidding - emphasis on the bold phrases. How can tithing become a condition for God's blessings, fortune and prosperity? Then these bible quotations are invalid and have no meaning to us;These are some of the verses in the Bible that mentioned blessings, it never mentioned tithing as pre-condition or pre-requisite. I'll rather believe in giving than the adulterated tithin. Jeremiah 17:7-8 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Psalm 20:4 May He gives you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Exodus 23:25 Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you. Deuteronomy 30:16 For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. |

Saraki CCB drama was not necessary. Nigerian politicians always hold on to power even when they know they are guilty. Saraki would have just resigned and saved himself of all these embarrasing hassles. By and large, he would still be removed = charges he would never exonerate himself of are pilling up against him daily. |
Politics › Re: Herdsmen: Full Text Of Buhari's Order to Bring Them To Justice by Koolking(m): 12:38pm On Apr 28, 2016 |
LRNZH: Unfortunately, the 'Fulani herdsmen' issue has been around since OBJs government as I remember. That was when the grading reserve bill reared its head.
The issue is that the Fulani's have been migrating further south due to the encroachment of the Sahara desert over the years. Their gradual southward migration has led to more interaction with farming tribes of the middle belt and southern Nigeria and with this comes violence as they struggle to grab more land for their cattle. Some don't even return to the north anymore.
The issue like many of Nigeria's issue is a complex one and needs both short and long term solutions. Just like corruption, Boko Haram, Niger Delta militancy, fuel scarcity, lack of electricity, unemployment, herdsmen attacks are all symptoms of a non functional country.
I await to see how the current government will address the issue on the long run because unleashing soldiers on the hersdsmen is a short term solution (same for Niger Delta militancy and Boko Haram). That won't be enough.
As for OP, he is just reacting emotionally to an issue that requires a lot of level headed thinking. Any political analyste worth his weight knows that supporting PDP or APC is not even the issue here. Buhari's reaction if you're following the developments now is even swifter than GEJ against Boko Haram calling them his brothers. More people were dying daily that period
Two wrongs cannot be mutually justified and no death from violence can ever be proven worthy so partisanship is not what we should be taking about.
We should be focused on how to get to a mlre feasile solution. I'm my head, don't see how the grazing reserve wil work unless the 19 northern states come.together and agree on how to manage the reserves with staes have the final eight to opt-in or out of the reserves.
Such optional reserves will force the Fulani to become less nomadic and more domesticated thereby increasing the likelihood that he will look into alternative means of growing feed for his cattle. That should should lead to better interactions with Farmers who can sell him hay or feedstock and to modernisation of cattle rearing practises.
Just like the oil spills in the ND, soil erosion in the SE, the desertification of the North is a disaster that needs to be tackled.
Others may have better ideas. Please bring them on. APC vs PDP is not the solution. Brilliant, Insightful and Thought-provoking. I wish to read more of your opinions on NL. Your piece is devoid of partisan and ethnic sentiments peculiar to most Nigerians. I love your articles because it also suggest solutions to the problem - current imbroglio between the cattle nomadic and the SE/Nigeria. I was disappointed and embarrassed at what Fani Kayode wrote earlier on the issue. Instead of offering solutions, he opted for blame games. You sir reason better than our so-called elder statesmen who trades patriotism for party and self-interest. Cheers |

oduastates: 4th mainland bridge is a shortsighted waste of money as a result of lack of planning.
Why do we need another bridge to a tiny island, that will be under water, in less than 100 years. Like the badly concieved mega city thingie, which has resulted in the spread of an urban ghetto sprawl, this money would have been better spent on reclaiming what has been lost. Instead of a single business district , would it not have been better to have a series of business districts like the central business district. Like one business district in Ketu, Surulere, Agege and Ojo respectively thereby reducing the need for a new bridge all the time. That money would also be better spent building a subway system or urban railways system. I agree with your submission. More business districts and infrastructural development on the mainland will make more sense. With the 4th Mainland bridge, there's bound to be backlash in the 'not so later future' due to complete attention to the already dearth infrastructure on Island, coupled with limited space and environmental peril. |

You call morning, noon and night and all you keep saying is "how are you, how was your day, have you eaten, what are you doing at the moment, OK I will call you later" are you an FBI agent? How did they get your mobile number? Off the shelf in stores or they pick it on the street? Most girls will not cease to amaze me. I had a female friend who felt she's so pretty, she would go on fb and distributes her numbers to all male contacts - all in her bid to sample guys who can pay her bills. Her phones ring every minutes. Some of the callers she cusses and blacklist them. The fact is 99% of the guys got her phone number from her. It's damn too irritating and disappointing to get involve with some of these self acclaimed pretty girls |

Akpabio remains the biggest fraud out of the SS after GEJ and MAMA PISS. He built and inflated irrelavant projects to loot the state dry. He is a failure in my opinion Nne, I agree with you intoto. I visited that state and Rivers state early in the month to see things for myself after over 5years of my last visit. The much touted developmental strides in these two states are complete trumpery. These states garnered only media triumphant in terms of development, opportunity and progress. A minor section of Uyo and Ikot Ekpene experienced some level of infrastructural (roads & street lighting) upgrade and development. 90% of the area in Akwa Ibom is still untouched after 8years. Is that what we celebrate as development vis-a-vis resources in that state? Rivers state is even worse. People still think backward. Still dumping refuse on the express ways and middle of streets. Road managers take forever to evacuate them. The streets are already stark dark by 7pm. Things are in haphazard and eyesore. The 90% untouched areas are they not part of the state? What do you call development when there are no commensurate opportunities and or empowerment to create opportunities? Don't we deserve more than bragged development? What a shame! What a shame we celebrate mediocrity!! What a country? |

Proof OTHER TRANSACTION MC N/ATM/DISP/ERR/STAN-322010-10441841-092115-236291052
I would at this point thank the access bank contact Dunsi for his involvement in verifying my claims as well as seeing it through till my money was given back to me. He made several calls and had to work through the bureaucracy of the banking system to finally have access bank give me back my due. Also appreciation goes to Koolking and lordmayor4 for their valuable advice and support so far.
A few markers for access bank to take note of
1. When gtb contacted access bank for evidence of payment a staff sent over pictures of the transaction without any actual snapshot of me receiving money from the atm. This staff should be queried for ineffectiveness in verification or intent to defraud me.
2. I do not know how far the Ojoo branch manager could be held accountable but when a company is being informed of a possible flaw in its operations I believe a prudent administrator should be interested in protecting the image of the company he/she works except outright lackadaisical attitude is the order of the day there.
3. If I had not pursued my money thus far what would have been the end location so far? Access bank aa well all banks in general should look into monies that are in its system illegally.
I would be copying the agencies involved that this issue has finally been resolved.
To all followers of this thread so far it is a message that you can do anything if you try and keep at it. The nigeria of today is not the same as that of yesterday. Change has come to stay.
Thanks for reading and wishing you well - Teemy Congratulations bro. I salute your doggedness to ensure your money is refunded. There are far too many embarrassing illegalities at the banks, perpetrate by everyday people like us. We will never experience real change we are all yearning for until each and everyone of us changed our attitude. Cheers and live well |
