saintfizzo:One has to be very careful bro. So much spirituality with Nigerians. If you jam a girl who is affiliated to White-Garment-Wearing-Church and wears waistband, think twice before sleeping with her. A female friend and confidant who happens to wear waistband opened up to me once and cautioned me. Some of those waistbands are mere fashions. Some are diabolical. Some ladies wear beads for protection against men with uncanny spirit. Some wear not to get unwanted pregnancy. A girl once told me, she has never used pill upon years of unprotected sex with her boyfriend. The boyfriend confirmed this and like this status a lot. Why? she said her grandma did some voodoo stuff (not to harm anyone) to protect her against unwanted pregnancy and harmful spirits from men. She can only get pregnant if she has sex without the beads. I never believed in voodoo stuffs, but I believed this girl. The boyfriend is very comfortable. |
NgeneUkwenu:Where - BDC or Alade Market? If it's the former, double check if they are genuine. Fake Dollars are in circulation - shine your eyes if you are buying from the streets Peeps who hoarded their Dollars to sell when Naira hits all time high - 1000k/per dollar are deeply in regret right now, missed opportunity of selling at 400/per dollar. |

[quote author=noetic5 post=43181575]Is this an epitaph or eulogy? There's a thin line between love and hate. Expressing amazement when parties decide to stay apart means living in denial of reality. The parties know where it deeply pinches. Whatever decision they take, it's their choice.

teemy:Best of luck |
lwisee:Nigeria is working trust me. It takes pain to change an habit. There will be casualties if we are to reposition Nigeria for greatness. We are on the path to greatness at present. Most people see opportunity in this current economic situation, some see despair. It's all human perspective. I see opportunity, I see HOPE. Patience is a virtue, sow it. |
teemy:Took longer than forever for your case to be treated. Visit the site http://www.globalbankissues.com/ or contact CPA (Consumer Protection Agency) to raise complaint |
teemy:Your cash should be reversed in 24hours automatically. Tweet your bank for faster response. |
teemy:They took up my case, followed up, until I asked them to stand down as GTBank responded satisfactorily |
OlujobaSamuel:Current and Saving on third party transfer/deposits are dutiable (except self transactions). I guess, banks have not done enough to sensitize their customer care representatives. Ask some of them the true position, their answers will confuse them more than you as a customer. |
olatpic:Above is wrong info. Stamp Duty Charge is not limited to current account only, transfer into savings is also dutiable. But transfer from savings is exempted. Kindly double check your info
|
SUPOL:Then it's ok to call him policeCIVILIAN not policeMAN. Sir clarify |
The picture posted does not change the life of an average Nigerian in any way. I need to see actions - looters jailed for life (if that is what this administration will succeed in doing in their 4years, I subscribe into to). |
This story is as fake as a bleached girl. One of the sacked MDs...the man has gone underground...(No name, no company name to show this story is real). Sensational journalism from Vanguard. SMH |
This can never work in Lagos. Wrong Move Unless sponsored by LASAA (Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency). Mobile Advert of that size should cost the Keke man up to N50k annually. Where's his business argument? |
Indeed, NL is finished. It's now a joke - kids playground |
I can tell you Nigeria is getting better with what is going on. There is no glory without cross. To clean up a system and position Nigeria in the right path, of course there will be casualties. We just have to bite the bullet to give way to prosperity. Nigeria is getting better Long Live a better Nigeria |
demoore1:Damn! I am not partisan, not devoted to any party. I am a supporter of good governance. You are just being clouded by emotion for your party dude. Take a pill and chill. Whether your party is right or not, you don't care. Pathetic! All of these will change someday. |
GANJAFARMER:You wailed for nothing bro. Not worth my time. Cheers |
GANJAFARMER:Too embarrassing dealing with kids on Nairaland. I won't give you the luxury of arguing with you. Go and frolic in the sand, boy. You don't speak in the council of elders. You mean, because the constitution does not make provision for technology, we can not employ technology (in this 21century) as acceptable means of achieving desired results? Judgement cannot be made based on logically necessary consequence? We can only experience CHANGE, when we imbibe CHANGE. One desperate judge cannot tell me the constitution does not provide for technology to be used in monitoring govt revenue hence cannot be employed to checkmate corruption in the system if that's the way to go. |
We have a long way to go as a country. Supreme court has set a bad antecedence with the reasons given for their judgement. Technology is way to go if we are to conduct free and fair election in this country, going by our avoidable tendencies to defraud. Countries are breaking bounds with technologies. Why can't we encourage same here. Oh! I see, it won't favour certain people with despicable character. They want their minority will to prevail over the will of the majority (masses). I am hugely disappointed in the supreme court for their reasons for passing skewed judgement - only based on extant laws of the land, whatever happens to implied act which guides judgement is a deep concern to me. It is high time we reviewed our laws to align with technologies. Technology is what drives a formidable nation. Shame! |
aribisala0:Then you have no confidence in your brain. Recommend what will help |
JeffreyJamez:No sir. I need to order one from Jumia. The same spec you use |
blisscentre:You ended up not being of any help to the confused Op. I blamed him for bringing his personal problem to the world. He's not man enough to fix his home and not relying on public opinions. The attention is noted though, cheers. |
Karlovich:It's called 'Combat Manoeuver'. Let me not say more so that I don't divulge details. |
sheilak:You are in voice mail, Next... |
sheilak:Typically in Lagos with it's peculiar traffic situation, are you saying, it's ideal and reasonable for a wife to wake up by 6am to prepare the children for school and manage to meet up appointments at work by 8/830am? Or meet up with the children school bus coming by 630am? There are situations that require common sense. As a wife, you need not wait for your husband to nag and tell the world. What is responsibility? ..."force that binds you to the courses of action demanded by that force" For the Op to wake up 4/5am every morning to go to work, it means he lives in a city where traffic is unpredictable. I still stand my opinion based on observation: The Op wife is irresponsible |
sheilak:You know nothing about marriage dude. When you are of age, you will understand. |
CyberWolf:Our desperate and corrupt judges will frustrate the president effort. Illegality is way to go by the govt if we are to make any progress. |
The rate of laziness by Nigerians is alarming. Most Nigerian girls are sheer lazy. It's only on social media people claimed what they aren't. Nigerians are despicable set of people. Always claim living the life of prince and princesses who live in castles with all the privileges of life in their becks and calls. How could Africans (Nigerians) lashed mercilessly at the op for expressing his discomfort at his wife's tradition of waking up by 6am? Nigeria is not Telemundo Even if the Op wife is a full time housewife (she does not work or own her business), a sensible and responsible wife who knows the husband wakes up by 4-5am to leave for work, should also wake up with the husband to assist him leave early. When the hubby leaves, she can go back to her sleep and wakes up as it pleases her. She can assist in warming up his bath water, make tea/prepare breakfast if the hubby is the type who eats early. How about the kids? Preparing them for school? If you can't make simple sacrifices to keep your home, then you are not married. You should stay single and do as it pleases you. Majority opinions of NLers on this thread reek of juvenility, irresponsibility and fecklessness. Opinions like these here makes me believe marriage is a scam. Op, your wife is just IRRESPONSIBLE. |
Members of the Adamawa State House of Assembly should not just worry. Supreme court shall uphold the impeachment. |
torobongekpo:There's no gainsaying that the supreme court judgement was not commercialised. It's appalling how judges will trade integrity for money. |
