ArisingStorm:Have you tried these?
|
This man owe no one any explanation. He has not hurt anyone by his actions. Hollywood personalities visit Krishna for spiritual guide. Madonna, Guy Ritchie practiced the Kaballah. What’s wrong with mr Gomes going to the synagogue for whatever reason? I hope Gomes shows the same form that made Man United to sign him. He is such an intelligent footballer with amazing vision. He did well in the England youth teams. |
FeliciaOja:If you were posted to my children’s school as a teacher. The first I’ll do would be to withdraw them from the school. I agree, many years ago artists and scultors were the cameras that we have today. Only the rich had their images preserved on canvas or stones as paintings, drawings and sculptures but you madam I’m sure do have some other issues going on. |
Busan24:I am not doubting the possibilities of some paranormal activities. I am not a Thomas, I’m just saying that facts should be separated from fiction. The problem with some of the thinkings here is that when some things are not well understood, instead of more research and effort to unravel them, we’d go ‘spiritual. That in itself is bad. I’ve visited the Edinburgh castle as I used to go there every August during the Fringe and the military tattoo. It’s amazing. From the Scot monument to the architecture. Someone I worked with in the past is a Druid who goes to the Stone henge with her colleagues. I hope to visit one day. Not being able to explain some of these at the moment do not make these supernatural. Someone said that Nsibidi looked like Chinese writing. I didn’t share same view. I think they are very different and has no similarity. I don’t want to sound disrespectful, I just think that we’ve been hyping the nsibidi writing. I see it as mere indulgence of some men who didn’t quite exploit the full potentials of the writings otherwise we would’ve had very ancient manuscripts and literary works much older than Chinua Achebe’s great great grandfathers. Do paranormals and supernaturals exist? I think so....but wondering how the ancients achieved their technological and engineering feats sometimes can be disrespectful to those great people. The world and civilisation didn’t start today. I’m sure that someone then imagined a world and life where people would be able to communicate instantly from across thousands of miles separating them or being able to fly like the birds...but while some civilisation discovered, researched and used metals, some didn’t. Those that discovered and worked with metals progressed, they didn’t stop there. They cut rocks, built enduring legacies with them. We still invite the Chinese to teach us how to mine and purify gold and other minerals. The Greeks used their marbles to build and make artworks, the Europeans cut limestones, used flintstones to build castles. We didn’t, places like Jos, Plateau should have excellent stone masons but that wasn’t the case. Today we still do not have stone masons in Nigeria. Ebonyi people didn’t know what to do with their limestones, you’d also expect many riverline people to be excellent ship builders rather than the small canoes used for subsistent fishing. The less we ponder on the Aztecs, Mayans, Tutankhanmuns and think of developing resources here, the better for us. |
Busan24:I am sensitive and allergic to misinformation, miseducation, fake ‘acada’ people or inept individuals who abuse the word research. Myths and legends abound, there’s nothing wrong in immersing ourselves in them. They are entertaining but problem arises when some overzealous person attempts to twist and present them as facts. That is very wrong...now expanding on existing fables and mixing and linking them up with Igbo isn’t very nice. We had excellent craftsmen. My grand father was a great blacksmith. His contemporaries did well using the resources available to them to create amazing works. If these were all well preserved and kept in the museums, they would’ve been tourist delights and they would’ve been great for history, engineering and science enthusiasts. They were really creative...if someone wakes up, comes across some of these and attribute the beauty and creativity to some beings from outer space, that will definitely offend someone like me. Just to add....before I made the first comment,I had this song/tune/music in my head, I was humming it and thought that if I was a Don Jazzy, Q Tip, Dre, Pete Rock or the P squares, I would’ve had some beat that’ll probably be on everyone’s pod, iTunes. It was really good but I didn’t know how to save and turn them into beats....I was pissed off reading the post, slept off and now the tune has disappeared... Sorry to bother you, people with talent work extra hard and that’s the result that you see today. One moment it comes, hit you...could be writing...a word, phrase, joke or story...it hits you, knock on your door, it could even be expression from a bus conductor....great authors would rise, pick up the pen and note, laptop...type and write those in...musicians and producers will jump out of bed, record and preserve those beautiful tunes, hooks, could be sound from a keke engine or rain on an aluminium roof.etc...designers will make that sketch. Those woodworks and carvings were done by geniuses who went the extra mile, they put in more efforts, time and energy to produce what you saw there. There is no limit to the human mind. Conclusion ...Wood carvings presented here are no evidence of extra terrestrial beings contact with umu Igbo. |
centboy123456:She/he saw photos of some intricate wood carvings. When you are used to Volkswagen beetles and all of a sudden, you see a Bugatti or Lamborghini, then the creators of these exotic vehicles must have had contact with some super natural beings. How can the human mind came up with such designs? Impossible. |
Busan24:Like the king snake, you’ll start by eating and swallowing yourself from the rear end. Show me your milk fangs oh dear little slithering worm. Should I pick you up and flick a finger on your tiny delicate skull or just let you be. I’ll let you have fun, this is the sort of nursery rhymes that’ll make kids like you wriggle in excitement. Nwata bunie nna ya enu, ogodo ayochie ya anya. |
Tadeknkeepcalm:Forty years ago, it would’ve been impossible to think that today’s man would sit in his room or walk the street and use WhatsApp and other media to communicate instantly. What about devices like TomTom which utilises the satellite to guide and help us navigate impossible routes?, what about apps that compute and display our steps, calories, heart rates, body heats? Let’s attribute and give glory to aliens! There’s no way the human mind can advance, conceptualise and make all these possible! That’s what the op is trying to make some gullible minds here to believe. How can the human mind create all these? Impossible! They can only be the result of having come into contact with extra terrestrial beings! To think that she/he hinged her proof/evidence on mere wood carvings is not only mental laziness but embarrassing to the word research and study. |
FeliciaOja:I thought you were trolling but it seems you believed all these stuffs you typed here. The only proof of your belief in the existence of aliens and their contact with Igbos seem to be the wood carvings! Why didn’t these aliens gift the local chiefs presents carved in marbles or even rocks? You claimed the aliens gave those presents to the locals but contradict yourself that the locals carved those figures as evidence of what they witnessed!!! Didn’t it occur to you that the human mind is very creative and that these figures were only products of imaginative minds? Ben Enwonwu was very creative and his sango was sculpted out of pure imagination same with all his works. I just can’t tell the type of substance you consumed that triggered these theories you came up with. I think you were higher than your imaginary friends and visitors when you typed and created this thread. Only someone who ‘teleported’ and had contact with aliens would write the above. |
Simbrixton:What has Tinubu got do with my comment? My comment was directed at our politicians and leaders. What’s wrong with you? |
Simbrixton:Tinubu kill you and your likes fool. Bloody tribalistic idiot. May death kill the likes of you a million times |
abobote:Bro, if you are from that town, go back there and ask your leaders why they did nothing when all these were happening. Don’t you guys have men? Fulanis invaded your place and it was senile old citizens thar went to talk to them!! You don’t dialogue with someone who came into your house to shoot and rape...you arm yourself and be ready. You don’t confront the fulanis with diplomacy. Those men are probably being sheltered by the law enforcement right now. They will leave that place, invade and terrorise the next village while you are looking for revenge. We criticise the Yorubas for Amotekun. I say God bless the man that came up with that idea and all the people who provided the fund and personnel to make that initiative reality. Let out south east politicians keep disgracing us all. All of us will pay the price soon. |
Coldie:They have inflicted fear and terror all over the place. Communities won’t do or achieve anything until a Wike like individuals rise or an Nnamdi Kanu kind of man with a Wike mentality and action step up. How can we be ruled by these set of politicians? Where are our men in the law enforcement? Are we lacking in personnel or what? Let someone out there motivate and support the youths to take care of these evil. What are Ikpeazu, Obiano, Ugwuanyi, Umahi, Ekweremadus doing? They would be blowing silly grammars, having their faces all over the billboards with sycophants singing their praises when they sneeze nasty aerosols while their towns and villages are swarming and polluted by Fulani bandits. |
EastGold:They are not in the making. They have been there and deadlier than boko haram. Their agenda has been there but politics, stupidity and greed have blinded prevented our local leaders and representatives not to see all these threats staring at us in our faces. Fulani threat has always been there. Their mission was never hidden. My anger and frustrations are not on the Fulanis rather our governors, politicians and most especially south easterners in the police and armed forces. Hausa/Fulani men in both organisations would never allow such atrocities to happen to their people no matter the degree of their patriotism. I want to shout Southerners ‘wake up’ from your slumber. The enemy is not at your gate anymore, he is in your bedroom but I’ll be accused of being an ‘attaché by force. My message is for Igbos. If we all do not protect ourselves now, disaster and annihilation would be our reward. How many times would the fingers get burnt before the hand learns its lesson? |
Davash222:In a sane country, the lunatic security aide and his accomplices would be in jail. There are mad men like him and their backers who shoot at and kill innocent citizens and go Scot free. |
The post was pro Aisha Buhari. It subtly attempted to tarnish mr Tunde by alleging that “he travelled sometime ago to spend some time with some five girls”, then travelling to Lagos and was in contact with people who had contact with a late covid patient. Does Aisha Buhari have the right to enforce isolation on other residents of the Villa? Do Aisha, her children and security details have the right and authority to force others residents to self isolate? Where is Buhari in all these? If Aisha and her children are concerned about the potential risk to Buhari, did they speak to him about their worries? Did they reach out to the appropriate people like the police and NCDC? Why did they resort to use of firearm? Was that not thuggery and violence? We have seen Buhari many times engaging with people and without using masks, if he is unaware of the dangers posed by covid that his family has to fight for him, then he has no reason being the president or leading 200million people within this period. If he is unaware of the risks of the pandemic, how can he protect Nigeria? Buhari will forever be remembered as a man who epitomised nepotism, injustice, corruption, incompetence and bad leadership. Mention Aso Rock today and you’ll hear of Buhari, Aisha, their children, cousins. god children, in-laws, uncles and other relatives all running the affairs of 200 million plus Nigeria. |
PresidentOfNG:Don’t let these silly people confuse you. Everything is wrong with that video. How can that be scripted with the underaged boys at the background? The boy wearing blue shorts can not be more than 10. How can this be scripted? This is a community of rapists and violent people. These boys are being taught that it’s ok to rape and assault women from a terribly young age. Thunder fire anyone that calls this scripted or po rn. |
ifytrik:My friend, you must be very very silly to call that rape scene a local blue movie. What’s wrong with people like you? That girl was raped. I’m not sure how the video got out but what I watched was rape. I hope the people are located and punished every single one of them including the underaged boys that were cheering the rapist. I hope they all burn. |
Officialgarri:I’m not happy with those who are tagging this Fulani and Igbo girl from Nsukka but you really deserve endless slaps for calling that language Spanish. How on earth would you call that Spanish?? I’m sure I heard mix of Hausa when the guy in red under wears was standing and poking at the unfortunate girl with his knob while she was being held. Yes I heard something I’d call Hausa. I don’t know what Fulani sounds like but I heard words that I’d tag Hausa. I’ll do my research and see what I can find. |
MuttleyLaff:You’d be surprised, someone will actually cut that, cook and eat the meat. Tufiakwa, yuck, yuck. |
alibaba1995:Would you really eat that? |
Ibu ajoka. |
ERockson:You messed up your comment by that silly inclusion that “Igbos never criticise their kinsmen”. How could you type such? Is there any ethnic group that would give any of their politicians the ‘Ekweremadu’ treatment? Do you know how much criticisms Okorocha has received from Igbos and still receive from them? Which group of people defend and come to his rescue everytime Igbos attack him? Be honest with yourself. Who comes to Orji Uzor Kalu’s defence whenever Igbos attack him? Before you turn it into APC vs PDP nonsense, the likes of Obiano and Ugwuanyi of Anambra and Enugu states respectively are not spared. There are thousands of threads here about that as evidence that sometimes it turns into Anambra vs Enugu vs Ebonyi and Imo banter and some serious e-wars. No group of people criticise their politicians like the Igbos do. Yes some would argue that if an Uzor Kalu should be in jail, a Ganduje should face same. In fact there are a thousand Gandujes who should be rotting away in Kuje, Abakaliki or kirikiri prisons. Is this government serious about fighting crimes and corruption? Why did Orji Uzor Kalu return to the senate after his incarceration? Why is Okorocha not in prison despite attempting to cripple Imo state? With mountains of evidence that he turned Imo treasury into his personal account, what has happened? FG has returned some billions of money to the state while the perpetrator of that evil is still frolicking with his mates at Abuja! I’m not going to mention other politicians from other ethnic groups so I won’t be accused of tribalism. Orji Uzor and Okorocha should be our case study here. What are they still doing in the senate? Are these two qualified to still be representing the same people that subjected to misery? In a sane society, they should be rotting away in an underground prison. In an insane society, they should face jungle justice for their greed and evil...that tells you that Nigeria is an abnormal society. Orji Uzor was sent to prison while his position and seat remained vacant! Who does that? What kind of society is that? |
Bola Tinubu should not be mentioning the word democracy or reminding and preaching against dictatorship. People are going very far blaming him for Buhari’s actions.... What about the actions of his daughter at computer village Lagos? The traders and all stakeholders want a democratic process to elect their leaders but Tinubu’s daughter who takes advantage of her family’s position and influence in Lagos have been exploiting these traders. That’s hypocrisy. |
duchaB:Driver |
Madam left the house after having breakfast..time of breakfast probably 07:00-08:00..let’s assume she left between 07:30-08:30. Maid left house after that. Son was out in the hood playing video game...his phone rang...what phone? Not sure if he would’ve had a mobile phone at the time. Driver was asked to go and withdraw money early in the morning on 1st October 1992...? October 1st is a national day in Nigeria and a public holiday...so banks do not open. Even if banks did open, Oga sent him to go and withdraw money early in the money!...withdraw money from where? There were no ATM machines then and even if there were ATM machines, HOW DID HE GET HOLD OF OGA’s pin no to withdraw the cash?? It wouldn’t have been bank as banks do not open, if they did, they would open late and close early...just for a few hours....say 10:00-13:00.. that wasn’t early. He would’ve withdrawn the money using a cheque. So I highly suspect the driver. Assuming there were cash machines at the time, as I want to rule out the possibility of bank opening so at all or even so early on an Independence Day, there would’ve been massive foul play on how the driver acquired the pin to withdraw the money... if he didn’t act alone, then I wouldn’t put it past conniving with an insider...madam or even the son, to get the pin for him, madam said she was partying with friends but we were told that Oga had a party before he died, why would madam leave Oga to go jolly with friends?? Son was a spoilt brat, it could be him as well in connivance with the driver. Driver is my no 1 suspect. If there’s another person, I’ll rope in madam. |
