I've been with the young family during this lockdown period and I observed her closely..

When someone stands up from the chair, she quickly put her nose there. Likes to smell one's fart as well as puts her nose close to rotten food, dirty socks, shoes etc..

Is this normal? Is this a rare medical condition? Will she change this habit over time? What can we do to help her?

It’s a sign for the occupants of that house to effect some serious hygiene changes in the house.
If the little girl sniffs seats after someone gets up and stays there, doesn’t that show you that whoever sat there has bad body hygiene...If you used the toilet, don’t just use the tissues, wash yourself very well.

Except you guys eat beans morning, afternoon and evening or have some serious GIT problems, your seats shouldn’t be smelly if you get up from them. Body smell can’t overwhelm the smell of leather or fabrics on the sofa or chairs.
Pls do clean and wipe your chairs and furniture. That girl is getting used to bad odours and it’s not healthy for her. Introduce her to fresh and pleasant fragrances. That can be achieved through effective bodily hygiene and also keeping the house clean and free from terrible scents.

That’s an emergency situation and if you fail to do something about it, the bad smells would lodge somewhere in her subconscious and she might eat from the toilet one day...God forbid.

Those women who travel to Dubai to feast on feaces might have had horrible upbringings. I don’t want to say more than this.

In most cases, concrete mixes are done on site and on the floor with bad aggregates, you don’t do that! Concretes must be tested and conform to standards before they are used. The right thing to do is to engage professional concrete mixers who’d bring it to site when they are needed.
I’m not going to talk about prechecks, tests and other supervisions of the soil, sewage, etc by the engineers because in most cases, those are not done. It’s normal to see one man who is the architect, structural engineer, surveyor etc.

I need to add that the age long practice of using timbers for scaffolding is very wrong.
