First of all buy a lot of PS2, they are quite cheap, if you must buy a current gen game, Go for the PS3, due to its reliability. alot of people play only soccer  at game houses, so there would no need for me to start writing all the benefits of the PS3.  xbox360 is cool, but it got issues with reliability, as an entrepreneur, you wouldn't want to start up your business with a console and running to repair shop the next day. who has that time??
i have sent my 360 to the repair shop God's knows how many times, My ps3-  just twice, currently at the repair shop, due to loss of video and sound while powered on. It's my 60GB original PS3 sad . . . hopes it works . . . all these piece of info are from  experiences gotten from my 11 years of active gaming journalism, and I have spent an embarrassing amount of my life playing games, started precisely at age 5. so my unbiased info is your best bet.

Politics / Nigeria: Can We Get Any Better? Multiple Registration Rocks Sim Registration. by kosovo(m): 3:47am On Sep 24, 2010
We can now confirm that  the NCC recommendation for compulsory Sim registration has been utter purgamentum! We also have reports of multiple Sim registration , people registering for members of families, churches and offices, thumb printing multiple times using all thumbs. After getting the reports i was in perculsus and total discombobulation, at first, i had my benefit of doubts, but my visit to one of the registration centers put my mind to lacrimosus.  I meant a bloke on his tenth Sim registration for his younger brother, i decided to percontor percunctor the bloke, he gave me a moronic reply which i expected. . .  "na today nigeria spoil, go call police nah". i turned towards the direction of staff, only to see him taking chips and smiling stupidly and pueriliter. Out of anger and intumesco i left without achieving the registration parameter.

It is not only sardonic and melancholic that things like this still exist in Nigeria but a major blow to the civility, rationality and thinking faculty of many Nigerians, and to think that we might have a hitch-free voters registration would be most moronic thing to ever envisage. May God Bless Nigeria.

1st - I really doubt Ron wants to go back.
2nd - Why would R.Madrid Sell him after they just bought for 90mill?
3rd - Manchester would have to bid atleast 120mill witch they wont.

So i really doubt this article has actually got some sense.

what do you think?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Manchester United Readying Sensational Bid To Bring Real Madrid Star Cristiano R by kosovo(m): 3:09am On Sep 23, 2010
Manchester United are plotting to launch an astonishing bid to bring Real Madrid’s world record signing Cristiano Ronaldo back to English football, reports suggest.

Goal.com Spain comments that sources in the capital believe Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson wants to lure CR7 back to the venue where his career flourished under the legendary coach, with an audacious €100 million bid being readied.

Given the current financial constraints at the Premier League giants, coupled with the fact that Ronaldo’s buy-out clause is 10 times that of United’s supposed offer and los Blancos’ president Florentino Perez would never sell the player, it would seem that this particular deal is highly implausible.

However, recent speculation as to the source of the Portuguese international’s poor form for the capital club has led to rumours that the player may be unhappy with his current role in the team.

While Ronaldo is still finding his feet in the new season it is likely that rumours will continue to intensify until CR7 starts to find the target regularly after struggling in front of goal so far this campaign.

Gaming / Microsoft: 'who Needs Blu-ray?' by kosovo(m): 2:55am On Sep 23, 2010
Microsoft has offered its most strongly worded prediction yet that Blu-ray will be extinct before it can become the de facto disc format of the video games industry.

MS has previously told CVG that it isn't interested in adopting Blu-ray for Xbox as it instead considers digital media the long-term 'future of home entertainment'.

Now UK Xbox boss Stephen McGill has claimed that the format will be "passed by" before it can make an impact.

"I think people may have spoken about [Xbox's lack of a Blu-ray drive] originally, but that's long gone," he told X360A.

"I think people now recognise what a smart decision it was to keep the pricing low, and actually Blu-ray is going to be passed by as a format. People have moved through from DVDs to digital downloads and digital streaming, so we offer full HD 1080p Blu-ray quality streaming instantly, no download, no delay. So, who needs Blu-ray?"

McGill's comments come after developers such as Capcom and Mercury Steam have discussed the "problem" of creating games on multiple DVD discs for Xbox 360.

Politics / Presidential Race Declaration: Jonathan Caught In Plagiarism by kosovo(m): 2:51am On Sep 23, 2010
A day after President Goodluck Jonathan formally declared his bid for re-election, Saharareporters has discovered that a part of the speech he read at the official launch of his campaign was substantially lifted from a 2006 address given by former Vice President Abubakar Atiku when he announced his entry into the 2007 presidential election.

Mr. Jonathan yesterday announced his presidential bid at Eagle Square, Abuja in a ceremony graced by crowds mobilized by state governors, featuring masquerades, musicians and half-naked men.

In the 30-paragraph speech delivered with the aid of a teleprompter, amid loud cheers from his supporters, Jonathan said, “Our country is at the threshold of a new era; an era that beckons for a new kind of leadership; a leadership that is uncontaminated by the prejudices of the past; a leadership that is committed to change; a leadership that reinvents government, to solve the everyday problems that confront the average Nigerian.”

The rhetoric resonated with the crowd, which cheered him on. The crowd was obviously unaware that the paragraph was a plagiarized version of an old speech by Atiku. The former vice president used similar phrases in a speech he read at the Old Parade Ground in Abuja on November 25, 2006.

In paragraph nine of his four-year-old speech, Atiku declared: “Today, as we stand on the threshold of a new era Nigeria requires a new kind of leadership, a leadership committed to this change process.

“We need a leadership that is not hampered or constrained by the regressive politics of the past or the unproductive ideologies of the present. Nigeria deserves a proven, committed and experienced leader who knows how to reinvent government to help solve the real problems our people today.”

One of our sources said that Jonathan’s speechwriters “tried hard to conceal the stealing of another man’s intellectual property, by changing a few words here and throwing a few words there,” adding, “but the evidence of plagiarism came out clearly all the same.”

The source, a professor of linguistics, said the similarities between the two paragraphs “are just too glaring to be regarded as a coincidence.”

Politics / Re: Jonathan Storms New York With 120-man Delegation For A 36-hour Trip To The Un by kosovo(m): 2:21am On Sep 23, 2010
While we are yet to come to terms with the previous I46 looting spree to canadal, and how the nation has "Yakubued" the kernel that was cracked by a Benevolent Spirit, then comes another heart breaking news of 120-Man delegation to United Nations for the purpose of dancing naked before global leaders. Cry Nigeria cry! for how long shall we continue to groan in the dark? for how long shall vampires , See Moreand vagabonds continue staging their satanic script? for how long shall the future of unborn generation be mortgaged? wait a minute! did I hear somebody say 120 delegates?, for what purpose? another proverbial national cake dance I presume!! and when they get done, the State governors will then take turn! they too will embark on their wild elephant project, together with their 120 delegates-their personal assistants, commissioners, special duties advicers, election riggers, murderers, ritualists et al probably for the purpose of miking drying the masses. And after the state governors' get done with their wild goose escalade, then come the local government mayors, together with their 120 delegates-their personal assistants, councillors, election riggers, murders, ritualists et al. And when the mayors get done, religion then take centre stage-the Imans, the church priests, they along with their 120 delegates will embark on another wild goose chase to holy land of pilgrimage, perhaps to pray for his safe return from God knows where. and after the Imans and Church priest must have claimed to have seen God in Mecca and Jerusalem, the traditional worshippers, maroubouts and soothsayers will take turn, together with their 120 delegates-the Masquarades, the shrine bearers, the chief priests and high priests, off they go-not to United Nations this time around, perhaps to Sudan! and the script goes on and on!! after all, what goes around, comes around! Cry Nigeria cry!!!
Politics / Jonathan Storms New York With 120-man Delegation For A 36-hour Trip To The Un by kosovo(m): 2:21am On Sep 23, 2010
The culture of profligacy and waste of public funds that has come to define the Goodluck Jonathan regime will be on full display Thursday morning when he arrives in New York at 6:00a.m. Saharareporters has obtained a list of Jonathan’s entourage, indicating that he will be accompanied by a 120-strong contingent during his short trip to address the General Assembly on Friday. Jonathan’s wife, Patience, is also headed for New York with her own much smaller retinue.

After reviewing the long roll of people on Jonathan’s list, a civic society activist in Abuja told Saharareporters, “The punch line to the joke is that, despite the huge delegation, President Jonathan will be in the United States for only one day.”

According to his itinerary obtained by Saharareporters in Abuja, Jonathan will leave the US on Friday at 6:00 p.m. (local time), just 36 hours after his arrival in New York.

The Nigerian ruler, who initially cancelled his trip to New York over domestic political and security concerns, is expected to return shortly after delivering his speech on Friday, in order to continue with the political horse-trading concerning his presidential bid. He is trying to neutralize all forms of opposition from the north to his ambition to be the presidential flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Initially, Jonathan had planned to travel to New York with some 98 federal officials. His arrival date was scheduled for last Sunday, one day after the political jamboree at Eagle Square, Abuja, where he formally declared his intention to seek his party’s nomination as presidential candidate.

Our investigation has also revealed that the Nigerian government has lost a substantial sum of money owing to the refusal of the Ritz Carlton Hotel in New York to refund hotel reservation funds to Nigeria’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations. The Nigerian Mission had originally booked Jonathan and his entourage for what was to be a weeklong trip. But with Jonathan coming only for 36 hours, the hotel refused to refund the down payment for the extra days, claiming that it could not do so in the midst of a hotel-booking boom during the UN General Assembly. A source told Saharareporters “the hotel’s management has argued that they could have filled their rooms if they had not reserved them for the Nigerian delegation, and that it’s not their fault that President Jonathan did not arrive at the initially scheduled time.”

Numerous Nigerian UN permanent staff had to engage in booking and cancellation negotiations all week as a huge delegation of Nigerians, conservatively put at 522 people, had descended on New York for the Millennium Development Goals summit at the UN. That meeting, which will be addressed by President Barack Obama this afternoon, will end today.
