Like I can use the note7 to connect a WiFi at the same time connect another device to my phone to use my hotspot

I believe the term is WiFi sharing, though OP didn't explain well enough. Long story short, it allows you to use your device as a repeater.

Remembered this option on my previous redmi note 7 and saw it while messing around with a MiFi on my LG G8 (current device).

Here's SS of it in action with a better explanation than OP own.


*A repeater is a device used to boost or strengthen wireless connection, especially in crowded places where the radio waves weaken after passing through walls, dunno if it's the 2.4GHz or 5GHz waves.

Edit - don't know if IN 7 supports it natively.

Go to xiaomi compilation thread for Gcam ports made for your device.
Either your download file got corrupt or you downloaded the wrong file.

Each mod got its own settings and what works for one device wouldn't work for another.

Example - burial mod rear cam shots are good but horrible with front cam whereas tigr mod is awesome for front cam but back camera needs to be tweaked (pic comes out a lil oversaturated with original settings)

*Above example is based off the results of different gcam mods from different devs on my device o. Remember this before you start attacking anybody.

Explanation is same as connecting WiFi to a hotspot or MiFi but title says you can use both at the same time (which isn't possible yet).

Yet someone who called me a bad teacher will congratulate OP for this nonsense... It's well.

The 13MP camera isn't a compromise in this case. iPhones and Pixel 3 below got 12MP shooters and they're doing great despite the rants that bigger is better.
Both phones are great but one got a better processor.

Already simplified above me but there's more.

The reason most of your apps load quickly is because they're cached in memory. They also affect RAM but in a good way.

The apps aren't running, either in foreground or background but they're not completely closed, unless you load another app needs larger memory to run and the least used app is cleared from cache or in some cases, some apps will start up like you forced closed them.

It's the reason why Gmail doesn't waste time opening and the reason Facebook is always running and using certain apps or features like camera, play services, clipboard, fonts (yes, they do), etc adds more processes to RAM making it feel like the RAM isn't enough to run demanding apps. That could change with Android 11 though
