sam ogo: PROOFS THAT JESUS WAS WEALTHY ON EARTH:Hahahaa!! Guy,you need to be checked.. Why are you twisting everything nah.. Abeg you can do better nah.. Atleast come up with something more challenging nah.. **farts on thread** |
Well, all i have to say is that; as christians we have to behave like christ, which also means that we should emulate his footsteps... The bible clearly states that "the love of money is the root of all evil",so am not surprised that people can decieve others for this same money... I see no reason why someone who claims to be a man of God will " gather more than what he can consume in many years to come".. What happened to the word "contentment"? Now,that same person will come to the alter and preach to you that this life is vanity.... Even jesus himself who knew the bible in and out,who could perform any miracle didn't use his authority as an advantage to make 'corner' 'corner' wealth.. Can you imagine the kind of money he would have made,if he chose to? But rather,he knew that spreading the gospel was more important than anything.. Even comedians joke that jesus trecked cos he had no money... The problem with most of us, is that we dont want to accept the truth staring at us in the eyes but rather chose to ignore it because we are afraid of change.. Just like someone who doesn't want to accept the fact that the child he has been training for 20 years is not his... If you really are a man of God/leader,you will be the one sacrificing for your flocks and not the other way round... The truth is there for us to see, but most of us dont want to admit it.. May God help us... |
kay dibs: I am so so glad. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. I even heard the ass wipe was hiding in a pit toilet. He's scared to die. Rubbish! One down!WTF!! So the i..diot knows the value of life.. No wonder the guy in uniform was holding his nose in the picture... |
@op,what will the unreserved apology change? Will it move Nigeria forward? Someone opened a thread a today about "ojukwu's video",and many people ignored him and told him to let the past be the past... I advice you to do the same.. Pls anyone posting below mine should just post something like ".........." or " ![]() ![]() " or ",,,,,,,,,,," so that this thread will go to sleep ant avert further tribal bashing... @op hope you understand.... |

HQ: Beats me. crusufixo: With the way this man behaves these days, it make me wonder whether he has a few months to live and wants to make the most of his remaining days alive.................Lol.. |
Why didn't the op put "viewer discretion is advised"? I think there might be something going on btw this semi-man and linda ikeji.. Just saying# abi na only 'LINDA' be name..'MUKINA' no be name? The organisers of Nigerian idol need to be checked.. Of all people, why charly boy? Since Nigerian idol is a platform for up-coming talented Nigerian singers to show case their talent, why is charly boy a judge in the show? What does he knows how to sing? Has he ever sold up to 66 copies of his music? What has he achieved musically?..lol Does he even knows how to analyse a song? Why not motivate them with someone who has something to offer musically? Abi MI and the rest don die.. Smh |
The problem with most of these bloggers is that they don't even have the passion for it.. They just wan make money, and end up feeding people with garbage.. I believe blogging will benefit only those who have ideas, those who think well, and those who have passion for it,you wont even know when the money starts coming in.. Not all this copy copy information bugglers who call themselves bloggers.. |
Basic: Thanks. I got understand you. But I insist, that whoever claims that unjust killing is part of Islam - be he an "imam" - is a transgressor, a radical, and an ignoramus!Yes i understand you..from what i've noticed, the whole problem is just from two angles.. It is either from the religion itself or from the interpretation of the religion.. I dont know much about the quaran,so i cant choose.. Lastly, your imams also contributed to everything cos majority of them don't lead by example.. And these are the same people muslims who want to know more about their religion look up to for direction... Just the same way Nigeria's corruption starts from our leaders and crawls down to some of it's citizens,is the way islam's teachings can be traced to it's imams... If we want to reduce the level of corruption in the whole country,we all know where to start from.. If muslims want to change the way the world views the religion,it should also know where to start from.. @basic,i have another question to ask " Can muslims convince us with backings from the quaran that islam does not support violence? if they can, then i think nobody should say that islam supports violence, but rather understand that " terrorists are just using it as an excuse to commit violence... |
@op,i understand your point clearly and commend you,but you cannot change the fact that boko-haram is an islamic sect.. The problem is that many/a higher percenatage of muslims do not think the way you do.. Now listen, every religion has people who have spent so much time studying the religion to understand it.. Now these people are qualified to teach/break-down the religion to their fellows who also believe in that same religion.. Now,If a high percentage of those same religious scholars agree that the said religion approves the killing fo people from other religions, why shouldn't the ordinary man agree? If a religious leader who is suppose to lead by example comes out openly to violently attack the other religion, who is the ordinary muslim not to agree that killing them is the answer? @basic,do you know that if you come into a group of islamic scholars and say "Islam does not support killings, you will be percieved as a weakling by the said scholars.. I know some of them will agree, but a majority of them will oppose you and refer you to the holy book... Not all muslims are bad,but the problem is that most of them have been taught to bahave hositle towards the opposite religion right from kids, and worst of it,the holy koran is used as proof.. You need to see the way even those little muslim kids behave towards xtians.. I grew up in the north for good 18 years,so i know what am talking about.... Lastly, the Nigerian muslims look up to the middle eastern muslims for inspiration religious wise.. So how do you expect them not to behave like their religious mentors who know in and out of the religion.. They claim to understand their religion, but always 'copy' 'copy' what the middle east does.. I bet you,if those middle eastern muslims calm down and embrace peace, these i..diotic boko-haram will also do the same.. Like father like son.. Take it or leave it,boko-haram operates on islamic principles just like the middle east... They even want to islamize a whole Nigeria...can you imagine.. @basic,i feel your pain.. I also have good muslim friends who i can count on more than my xtian counterparts.. Like i said, not all muslims are bad,but you have to understand that majority carries the vote.. It will take more than spiritual intervention to make many muslims posses your mindset... |

You also confirmed what the bible said that " even if you crush/grind a f..oool in a motar together with his fo..olisness,his f.oolishness can never depart from him.. No offense bro# |
It can never be learnt, cos it's a gift.. I thought they said; speaking in tongues is language the devil cannot understand? So if the language can be learnt, then i guess the devil would have learnt it no matter how hard it may sound cos the devil's brain is indeed a german machine.. The level of his iq is out of this world,so in essence, speaking in tongues cannot be taught/learnt cos it's a gift from the holy spirit...... Sorry to say this, but a christian who knows what he/she is doing will not even ask this question... Although i know you asked cos you were amazed at the theory that it can be learnt.. |
Hmmn,it's just a matter of time before this war starts.. Why do people like saying religious stuffs like " Israel cannot be defeated in war and blah blah blah"? I know the children of God a..k.a israelites can never be defeated in battle, but i think the present day isreal is not the one being referred to in the bible.. The isreal referred to by God might mean a " group of people",and not the necessarily the land itself..just saying# I am a christain, but i don't think the present day isreal gives a bleep about christians/christianity in general.. So abeg make we stop dey support isreal blindly cos we be christians... Lets not be bias based on religion..... If isreal look for trouble, let them be defeated,if iran look for trouble, let them also be defeated...shikena.. |

kai,end shall never wonder !! Since when did 'demonstration' became 'rioting'... Abi dis one na anoda strategy to make people visit the thread.. Dis mods sef ehn... I troway salute for una oh... Tuale!!! Tuale!!! Tuale!!! |

The problem wrong with blacks is not the "brain",but the suitable enviroment and materials needed to explode.. |
I just hope those worthless f.ool.ish robbers are caught.. Pls seun/mods,can you guys pls tell me how you guys reason? Why do you guys allow tribal war so much on nairaland, but are quick to ban anybody that uses the word "G..a..r..r.i",does it even make sense? I am very sure you guys enjoy watching people bash each others tribe.. Now look at how this thread is about to get derailed by tribal bashing... If indeed nairaland is among naija's most visited website, then it is sad to say that it encourages tribal intolerance/hostility... |
tpia@:Huh !! I should flee from where? Did i ever say i reside in porthacourt.. The fact that i gave my point of view concerning the situation doesn't mean i stay in PH.. |
@op,your analysis makes sense, but you know many folks here dont believe in religion and might take you to be a madman.. Secondly, many people here believe they are too intelligent to listen to others opinion on matters,so dont be surprised if you recieve more insults than this.. Personally,i have sat down and reasoned the mystery behind that apple logo and made my conclusions which i dont intend to spew out,i will rather keep it to myself cos i no get time for arguement and unnecessary insults.... A company logo might just look small, but it also tells you something about the firm, that's if you care to listen... Have you ever asked yourself "Why the apple logo is not complete"? There are many deep reasons why they chose that particular 'symbol'.. One of the small reason is that "When you use an apple product, there is no going back because your eyes will be opened that other products are just rubbish"(you have eaten from the apple, and your eyes are now opened)"? If you look well, you will see that APPLE are still the worlds number one and they dont plan on going down... |

in the first place, you need to ask yourself "why am i flirting"? It all boils down to the reason behind the act... |
phreakabit: Although its impossible, I would have loved if the entire community can get annihilated. I didn't see anyone protesting in the video. They all just stood there watching. . . What do you think a foreigner (even Africans) would say about this video? So in that same video, you saw the whole community members abi?[ I just hope the guilty ones are found, and the innocent are not affected.. |
At the end,the truth shall come out and justice shall prevail.. I also have something to say; anybody that suggested/agreed that the whole of aluu community should be wiped out is no different from the people who lynched those boys, you all are murderes and heartless,no matter how hard you try to appear as saints. Have you ever imagined how many innocent souls that will be lost if that demonic idea is carried out? Did the whole of aluu community agreed on the lynching? Is the whole of aluu community heartless? If you are praying for a whole community to be wiped out based on the actions of some " demons",i also hope you too will be wiped out based on the crime anybody from your community ever commited, lets see who will survive.. Most of us are hypocrites, but we dont know it.. We keep telling people "please dont generalise", while we ourselves dont know the real meaning of the word "generalization"... Most of us are quick to rebuke others, but fail to remember that we are greater demons.. You can always try to decieve people with your "holier than thou attitude",but you can never decieve yourself.. Karma awaits you... |

ehie: WHO SAYS I SHOULD BE IN THE DIASPORA TO CONDEMN LYNCHINGS?Nobody said you should be in diaspora to condemn the act.. Many Nigerians at home deeply condemned the lynching more than most of you here... I advice you read my post again to know what i really said... |
