My Brother!
If you will take up the Post, your Faith should be a Paramount Factor.

Don't allow any other form of god or diety to make u do what you should not!

Respectfully Tell your people that you will Accept the throne but that things will be done in a Christian way. You Respectfully tell them what your faith stands for.

If they Accept, Good! If they do not, then Respectfully decline them

Position is not a Qualification for Eternal Life..
Where in the post has the OP mentioned he's Christianhuh I thought the throne had always been a TRADITIONAL STOOL......

This is an issue that has its resolve between the OP, his wife, family and community (Christians and non-Christians). Save him the religiousness abeg...

A young boy's mental fabric was ripped at an early age by the very one who he's supposed to find security with and some bunch of idiots and nonentities dim it fit to say balderdash out of their profound foolishness. They fail to realize their condition, made obvious by means of their words is way worse than the OP's.

I understand your plights tho, you probably know zilch about human life.....

To the OP, find your peace in what was written in the Book; "......forgive them(her) for they(she) know not what they(she) do(did)".

Don't be surprised if you tried explaining the implications of what she did to her and she remains unapologetic, ours is a culture that prides its self so much on PRIDE(ego). Know very well that what she/anyone says does not define you but what the God in you says, this is liberation.....th very salvation that many seek.

Peace I leave with you brother, love and eternal light.

RomanceRe: Don't People Want To Marry Again? What's Going Wrong In Our Society? by kumulus(m): 7:07pm On Jun 23, 2020
Fidelismaria:

Marriage has long outlive its usefulness
It hasn't outlived it's usefulness imo, I'd say just like the many other institutions...it has been grossly abused, hence the understanding of it's sacred purpose/use lost.

Consider this scenario;

Marriage = Corporation/Investment/Company/Institution
Couples = Partners/Investors/Associates
Child/Children = Raw material/Gift/Talent/Human resources
Family/Friends/Neighbours = Support structures
Society/Globe/Universe = Marketplace

With the above structure, we can see clearly that 'the marriage' is an institution divinely established to "discover/nurture/refine" these talents/gifts (kids) so they can become established and be a blessing
(value) to the world around them and beyond.

Family is an essential unit in the construct of any social environment (society) and to achieve results in the above enterprise, it's expected that two become one (Bible has it that except two be agreed, they can't walk together).

Instance1: It's breakfast and you and I have a loaf and an egg only, I want scrambled eggs but you earnestly desire to have your bread with boiled egg. How do we settle this matter and don't end up eating breakfast at noonday?

Instance2: Mr F and Sir Q have a production company, if their ethics and work attitude don't align....how can they meet their goals and objectives without missing their targets while still producing quality products?

Bet your response is for all to come to be in AGREEMENT.

Marriage is a great enterprise, both parties involved have to realize that they are both entrepreneurs (Partners) who should strive to see that the REASON why they are partnering up (marriage) is achieved.

Reelafonja:
According to the Bible the yardstick for making heaven is giving your life to Christ. So if a young child dies at a young age and can't confess Jesus as Lord because he/ she can't talk or too young to comprehend.

Will he/she go to heaven.

Bible scholars
How so? Did the teacher, Jesus of Nazareth not inform that a rich man first become like a babe for him to see the kingdom of God?

Looking at the ways things are going... if we don't split, this human inhumane to humanity is what will wipe this country out. #Nigeria is long dead.
In the end, if this splitting thing happens....people will only realize they've missed the point all along. Parting ways was never the solution and never will be.

This particular scenario just like the many others before it, related and unrelated, had ALWAYS been brothers against brothers.

The underlying issue is what we are failing to address.... you've to look beyond the skin to see the heart of the matter. Something so fundamental to life itself is very much amiss amongst us, we've become a people cultured in wicked ethics and/or beliefs. Hence the persistent intolerance that can't seem to stop existing between all.

Where is the brotherly and sisterly love? How long and further shall we fall in this great confusion?

like he said more people less resources now. If the present Nigeria had 1/4 of its current population it would have been ok. But we keep fucking and giving birth
The resources are there and in abundance too, I believe the problem is our lack of production. Nigeria was the renowned Giant of the black continent and it wasn't an honour bestowed but deservingly merited. We were exporters of mainly agro-products. No doubts the duppy ones have succeeded in making sure we know little to nothing of this glorious history of ours (big shame), hence why we are grappling at finding an economic foothold but without success.

The groundnut pyramids and towering stacks of cacao peas, cassava, palm oil, cashew nuts, yams and many other farm produces wasn't entirely consumed by the "small populace" we had then..... They were sold in exchange for funds, don't believe the bullocks they've taught us.

Africa will unite and rise again!!!

They are using your brain to play, the earlier the better, before it is late.
They have put your brain in the coven.

Go to mfm, start praying, even if is not spiritual, still go for deliverance, God will direct you on how to solve it.
God is no author of confusion....no deliverance will take place if he (the OP) doesn't come into the light of what's happening to him, he'll only end up running from pillar to post.

RomanceRe: No Sex Before Marriage Is A Scam by kumulus(m): 9:45am On May 31, 2020
Freestainworld:
Mr op, your write up is as sweet as horney, pleasant to the ear but misleading, no matter how you want to view sex, the truth is that, it is meant for married couples, not even for courtship people, don't justify a sin out of ignorance, if everyone should get married as a virgin, believe me, the sexual relationship in marriages will last, and the marriage sustained, but because we have tasted every dick and Tom, and every pussycat, that is why it becomes a problem, rethink again.
You may be right putting it that way but have you tried to consider it this way; sexual frustration in marriages is a result of an underlying lack of willingness of either/both parties to explore each others sexuality. It's not just about preaching against sex before marriage but properly examining the underlying but salient issues that surrounds the subject. Pastors are too ashamed ( actually it is fear) to talk on sexual education and when they , parents who are the primary teachers fail to take initiative because they are either as confused, afraid or just ashamed, 'professionals' whose job it is to inform/educate the young minds fail also for same reasons......

Yes, the will of the One be done but man had received the blessings of freewill. Hence, the great law that rules the affairs of man; "Do what thou wilt!" ( While still subject to reciprocative natural/divine laws).

RomanceRe: Bursting Myth About Masturbation You May Not Know by kumulus(m): 6:11pm On May 25, 2020
Akunwafor:
Please get your facts right. Dopamine in all it's glory is esential to everday movement etc.

The dopamine from the ventral tegmental area is a reward chemical. It is secreted when you do/receive something enjoyable. This in turn causes the brain to tell you to keep getting more and more of that pleasurable thing that causes a release of dopamine hence an addiction.

So yes, Dopamine is what causes an addiction

https://www.sciencenewsforstudents.org/article/explainer-what-dopamine

You cannot be scared of an addition because you don't even know what you could end up getting addicted to. You know about alcohol, drugs etc because they're common but do you know about the RLS(rrestless leg syndrome), pain addiction, speed addiction as in driving fast, even killing ergo serial killers.

I still maintain that you have a piss poor self esteem and no confidence because of the way you were brought up. Like it or not, many people were abused by their parents in different ways as kids and even by their peers in school (bullying).

It is not shame that causes people to avoid crime, it is FEAR. Ask your peers who studied psychology, it's a whole topic on it's own (I think).

Addiction does not lead to shame. The results of your actions when you're under the influence of your addiction is what causes shame.

I have my own peculiar addictions, these addictions do not make me behave in anyway that society will frown up and for that sole reason alone, I am not ashamed, I do enjoy my addiction.

Everybody has one addiction or the other and many people do enjoy their addictions.

As for addiction causing you to lose self confidence and esteem, look at Robert Downey Junior; he was a hardcore drug addict, he was in and out of rehabs and did prison time on more than one occasion, yet, he is as confident as any person can be.

Let us think and appply proven things to daily living for once. Religion and ancient archaic society has conditioned a lot of people to feel a lot of things are when in actuality, they're not.

Keep an objective mind and don't just swallow everything you're fed.
Very wise submissions...

I was telling someone the other day that users aren't addicted to the substance rather they are addicted to the feelings the substance cause them to experience. Give them some other substance that causes similar/enhanced feelings and you'll see it's not the previous substance they're addicted to.

So much for schooling.....very few amongst men are truly educated!

Many people on this thread have said things in support of my observations, posted the link and website where CBN advertised it... someone here is going to Twitter. Twitter and website, are they the same?
Some people here said they applied and the CBN called them or emailed them. They said it, not me...what proof do you want again that the loan is genuine? Those people don't have 2 heads. Did these people apply through Twitter?
Once someone has a different opinion from you, you term the person part of government. How many people does government employ sef?

A something for nothing mentality will not get Nigerians anywhere. You cannot expect to be watered when you have not contributed to the digging of the well or borehole. No matter how little the amount, pay your tax every month to FIRS, LIRS or the other State Tax Agencies. Then you can have the audacity to ask for palliatives. And when you are the head of a government organization or a worker in a Federal Agency, don't steal revenue money or partake in the sharing of revenue funds, and then start expecting money from the government due to a Pandemic. Government is not Father Christmas or a Charity Organization.
So the vast majority who had been perpetually unemployed should be the ones paying tax abi?? Government is not father Christmas but same government over the years had destroyed the lives and livelihood of her citizens. Dangote came around and built a world class refinery under how many years?? If just Lagos, Ogun and maybe Ondo who are bordered by oil rich communities and collaborated and built just one refinery in the past years, do you know how many jobs would've been created.....hence the number of taxpayers in each state?? If they'd planned and laid inter-city train tracks across the nation do you know how many jobs that woulda created. All this politicians do is build hotels, fuel stations, clubs and some small businesses here while they invest the billions of dollars in the Emirates, Europe and the Americas....in most cases I don't even call it investments but unnecessary lavishness and show of opulence around the world.

Soon enough they'll all meet their Waterloo.....e remain small, just small.
