Well, I'll say is one of those challenges we have to come across. what would you do if you realize that your Girl friend is going out with your Dad? |
In the storm Stands the white rose tumultuous waves of destruction abound her Yet tall is the white rose strong in the face Of the sensed doom around her And she does not bow down Pure is the white rose In the compost earth growing eternal strength in the nights that so hurt I see not the white rose She is so far away But I long to protect her But only the words can I say So I send her my words And my poets heart To help her when there is hope to see her through Be Strong little flower Your heart will guide true And as long as you want I will always talk to you |
Laying underneath the stars, On a warm silent night. Your arms are wrapped around me, And everything feels right. You kiss me sweet and softly, I feel your warm gentle touch, You help me feel protected Under the sweet night sky rush. My world before me is perfect. There's nowhere else I want to be, Except laying underneath the stars Hand in hand, you and me. Just when everything is perfect, And you seem so delicately sweet, A rush of wind comes past me As I'm swept beneath my feet. Nothing could be more right, There's nowhere else I want to be. Let's take a walk my only love, Hand in hand, you and me. |

Upon the stairway of despair, Complete with broken love affairs And promises that never came, But faded with a touch of shame, A pretty girl with golden hair And innocence so sadly rare, Strove to keep her head above A way of life devoid of love. Feeling pinned against Life's wall, She chanced upon a robot tall And said, "Please come and share with me Whatever Fate has deemed to be. I'm through with love, done with chances Spirit crushed by past romances, Just be a friend in word and deed. That's all that I shall ever need." "There's not too much from me to learn," Remarked the robot, in return. "Emotions do not form a part of my cold, solid-steel heart. Whatever maker fashioned me Did not permit my circuitry Responsiveness to love or pain - You're thoughts for me would be in vain." "No matter", spoke the maid. "No more Do I wish passion to explore. Be someone I can come home to When my exhausting day is through. Count yourself a well-worn shoe - A friend that I can slip into . . . Protection from a stone cold floor . . . For this I ask and nothing more." Agreement made, he took her hand And lived the life that she had planned, Always willing, not demanding, Aiding her with understanding He made her smile with humorous wit (As his restrictions would permit) And, bit by bit, she came to feel That he was more than iron and steel. "I love you, robot", she at last Replied when several months had passed. "You're strength and quiet dignity Have brought a wondrous change in me. No more do I feel all alone, And pray you must be flesh and bone. Deep-set emotions you MUST feel Within that outer coat of steel!" "If I were able, I would say I'm sorry I was made this way But my design and programmation Does not provide for that creation Of feelings normal men may feel That were not born of iron and steel. I told you all this once before. You have no right expecting more." "Go, then!" cried she. "I will not live Beside a friend who cannot give! Though I be battered by misuse, Misguided trust and strong abuse, At least the men I chose were real And had the power to love and feel. Of all the lovers I recall, You are the cruelest one of all!" The robot, indestructible, Continues freely and at will. Emotionless, apparently, But, bearing closer scrutiny, One can see a small tear streak Down that cold, metallic cheek As I reflect upon my life . . . That lovely lady was my wife. The robot, of course, was me. |
So soft the brief touch of your lips on my cheek. Was I almost intruding? "Look after yourself " should have been "I love you!" Then the Jumbo flew over my head and I shouted my love above the roar and thundering thrust . . . as if you'd hear. Through the clouds in my eyes I watched you fly away and wished I'd been born with wings. |
iice: lilred:@ lilred thanks! watever:Thanks for all your comments, you Guys are indeed simply wonderful. |
Color it red when I think of you, because of all the wonderful things that you do. Color it green like an early spring day, Because you melt my cares away. Color it blue when you are away, By my side I want you to stay. Color it purple like a lilac in bloom, you listen to what I say and never assume. Color it orange like the setting sun, because you are the one I want to be with when the day is done. You have given me the right moment, place and occasion, I would gladly give my heart to you. |
For a mother, a daughter, a teacher, and a friend: In fertile valleys, dreams grow lush and tall. For cultivation, beauty is the end. Though each of many gestures may be small, Years of love and clarity are all. |

Merry Christmas to the one I love, Even on this day of love for all, Remembering the love of one whose call Redeemed all those whose hearts his love might move. Yet only one love does my spirit prove, Chosen in a passion like a squall, Having in such ecstasy withal Rejoiced in what we were created of. In such love do we find our way outdoors, So to be drawn to love of flesh and soul, Traveling beyond our village green, Moving towards the wash along our shores As our love joins the greater love unseen, Shining with dark passion on the whole. |

The Vows You Have Just Taken, Pledging Love The vows you have just taken, pledging love, Mean far more than words can ever mean. May their gentle spirit in you move. May your years fulfill the beauty of The feelings whose expression we've just seen, The vows you have just taken, pledging love. And may you always put these vows above The things that make life smaller and more mean. May their gentle spirit in you move. May your children know the power of These words to shape a world that's sane and clean, These vows you have just taken, pledging love. And if some day there is a need to prove The strength of will that from these words you glean, May their gentle spirit in you move. Let no fear or pain your love remove, Nor shallow, selfish hope your true joy screen. Let the vows you've taken, pledging love, In their awesome grace within you move. |

In the city of Chicago, one cold, dark night, a blizzard was setting in. A little boy was selling newspapers on the corner. The people were in and out of the cold. The little boy was so cold that he wasn't trying to sell many papers. He walked up to a policeman and said, "Mister, you wouldn't happen to know where a poor boy could find a warm place to sleep tonight would you? You see, I sleep in a box up around the corner there and down the alley and it's lawful cold in there for tonight. Sure would be nice to have a warm place to stay." The policeman looked down at the little boy and said, "You go down the street to that big white house and you knock on the door. When they come out the door you just say John 3:16, and they will let you in." So he did. He walked up the steps and knocked on the door, and a lady answered. He looked up and said, "John 3:16." The lady said, "Come on in son." She took him in and she sat him down in a split bottom rocker in front of a great big old fireplace, and she went off. The boy sat there for a while and thought to himself: John 3:16, I don't understand it, but it sure makes a cold boy warm. Later, she came back and asked him, "Are you hungry?" He said, "well, just a little. I haven't eaten in a couple of days and I guess I could stand a little bit of food." The lady took him in the kitchen and sat him down to a table full of wonderful food. He ate and ate until he couldn't eat any more. Then he thought to himself : John 3:16, boy, I sure don't understand it but it sure makes a hungry boy full. She took him upstairs to a bathroom to a huge bathtub filled with warm water, and he sat there and soaked for a while. As he soaked, he thought to himself : John 3:16, I sure don't understand it but it sure does make a dirty boy clean. You know, I've not had a real bath in my whole life. The only bath I ever had was when I stood in front of that big old fire hydrant as they flushed it out. The lady came in and got him. She took him to a room, tucked him into a big old feather bed, pulled the covers up around his neck, kissed him goodnight and turned out the lights. As he lay in the darkness and looked out the window, at the snow coming down on that cold night, he thought to himself : John 3:16, I don't understand it but it sure makes a tired boy rested. The next morning, the lady came back up and took him down again to that same table full of food. After he ate, she took him down again to that same big old split bottom rocker in front of the fireplace and picked up a big old Bible. She sat down in front of him and looked into his young face. "Do you understand John 3:16?" she asked gently. He replied, "No ma'am, I don't. The first time I ever heard it was last night when the policeman told me to use it." She opened the Bible to John 3:16 and began to explain to him about Jesus. Right there, in front of that big old fireplace, he gave his heart and life to Jesus. He sat there and thought : John 3:16. I don't understand it, but it sure makes a lost boy feel safe. You know, I have to confess I don't understand it either, how God was willing to send His Son to die for me, and how Jesus would agree to do such a thing. I don't understand the agony of the Father and every angel in Heaven as they watched Jesus suffer and die. I don't understand the intense love for ME that kept Jesus on the cross till the end. I don't understand it, but it sure does make life worth living. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. I do Love God. He is my source of existence. He keeps me functioning each and every day. OUR GOD IS GREAT!!!!!!!! |

Whispers Of The Whole Reality Love is but a whisper of emotions so true, Of the tenderness inside me And of what I feel for you. Having you close Through all the moments that we have shared, Just strengthens how much And how deeply I care. At times I wish I had a bigger heart To hold what is too plain to see, That is all that I feel for you, Yet still leave room to feel for me. I know it sounds too good to be true, But believe me it's no lie When I say to you that I will not only try. I'll make it so perfect that all shall adore, But that will not be the end If you would still want more. I hope I'm as much for you as you are for me, Because this love is nothing but a whisper, A whisper of the whole reality! |

If you need someone to confide in, you can come to me. If you need someone to advise you, you can come to me. If you need someone to share with you, you can come to me. If you need someone, who cares about you, you can come to me. If you need someone, to support you, you can come to me. If you need someone, to cry with, you can come to me. If you need someone, to laugh with, you can come to me. If you need someone to guide you, you can come to me. You can always come to me, because I love you, and I'll always be here for you as a parent and a friend. i love you. |
