A CCTV footage that has been released online shows the 9-year old girl who started a fire in Ebeano supermarket Abuja standing outside the building with her mother as the fire ravaged the supermarket, IgbereTV reports.
The fire incident happened on Saturday, July 17, destroying goods worth over N5 billion in the supermarket located at Lokogoma, Abuja.
During interrogation, the girl said she came to the supermarket with her mum.

I have tried everything possible within my capacity to help this guy but to no avail. My friend is 22 and currently in one of the federal polytechnic here in Nigeria. This guy can speak good english well but the problem is he can not read nor write, the only thing he can write down is his name and Reg. No.
Last year, before first semester exam. I noticed that this guy is always avoiding conversation that involves reading or studying. I never saw him read, not even once. We are neighbours and friends.
I just decided to take it upon myself to find out what was wrong as I know, he is a good person but hiding something. So I offered to be helping him with his assignments and handout summary to my amazement the guy find it hard to read what I smartly asked him to. He refused to admit that he can't read, probably he was a shame to admit it, so I let him be.
He, then finally opens up to me about him not been able to read and write. Of course, this was after first semesters exam and I had to perster him before he was able to tell me of his secret. How have you been writing the exam then? I asked, he said "I submit blank paper" when the result came out he had 6 COs (carry overs).
Again, I offered to help. I did all his assignments, encourage him to write something in all his test, He improved on his CA and others except for reading as I told him to at list write some thing down.even if it means coping from someone siting next to him without getting caught, I'm not encouraging exam malpractice but he needed help urgently.
Now here's my major challenge and concern, Since January this year, I have used Queen's Premier, used other English materials, vowel and consonant sound
The only thing he's been able to read are just few two letter words. Thought I was the problem, so I lied to a friend who happens to be a lecturer that the guy needs help, and that he's finding it hard to understand his books. The lecturer agreed to help but later told the guy not to come again as the guy is still not getting any thing.
Please, help.... the guy want to learn but I don't know what exactly could be the problem.

Civil society organisations and human rights activists have called for a nationwide protest on June 12 against the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration. According to various publicity posters, the protest will make 14 critical demands which are: Abolish 1999 constitution, End terrorism, End banditry, Isa Pantami must go (Minister of Communications and Digital Economy who expressed sympathy for terrorists), Free all detained activists, End insecurity, Justice for all EndSARS victims, Free Kogi2 (Two anti- President Muhammadu Buhari protesters – Larry Emmanuel and Victor Anene Udoka – who are being detained in Kogi State), Buhari Must Go, Revert electricity tariffs, End ASUP (Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics) strike, Revert fuel price, Revert party deregistration, and Free Nicholas Mbah. Asefon in meeting with Nigeria's Inspector of General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba on Tuesday however promised to mobilise against those planning the June 12 rally, using his power as NANS president, a source told SaharaReporters. “He met with the Inspector of General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba three days ago but the IGP refused to take pictures with him, telling him there was a crisis in NANS and he was not sure Asefon was in control. “Asefon then told him he is the original President with the structure of the students’ body. “He then asked the IGP for assistant and the condition given to him was to mobilise against the people planning protests on June 12 if truly he is the original NANS President. “He immediately promised the IGP to consider it done. He said they will initially join the rally and later disrupt it,” the source said. When contacted by SaharaReporters, Asefon admitted meeting the IGP on Tuesday but described the accusation as a fallacy. “That’s a fallacy, I met the IGP based on the insecurity in the country and I reported to him the stand of Nigerian students. I told him we want the police to be more proactive in protecting Nigerian students. That we want a safe school, that we want a safe campus. And we also discussed with him about our planned security submit," he said. On why NANS won’t be involved in the planned protest, he said, “It's everywhere on social media that some people are asking for #BuhariMustGo #EndNigeria #EndAPC #EndPDP and others which is not the interest of our own agitation. Our agitation is safe campus for Nigerian students.”
