What relevance does knowing her "church" bring? Is the church more an institution, some formalized corporation or the people within, a gathering of believers?

The default Catholic mindset states the former. But on what basis? The traditions laid down by the CC or Scripture? Again, the former. Anything further leads to the issue of sola scriptura, but should that be?

So when the Church makes the claim that it is the interpreter of the Bible, it is not by arrogance but by scripture.

Well Paul also asked for the Epistle to the Laodiceans to be read and passed around too, well where is that epistle and do you consider it scripture? If no why not? Wasn't it passed around too? it is not a misbehavior as a child who wants to do wrong thing, no it is a behavior however, like those who want to be vampires and suck blood, and such. It is purely a behavior. If it is not then the case can be made for those "vampires" who feel a connection to dracula and feel they need to carry out his work, that it is a psychological case and they should be allowed to encourage such connection, after all it would be damaging to their psyche.

I know too many people who have become homosexuals because they have had bad experiences in heterosexuals relationships. If it was purely an attraction issue, then they wouldn't have been attracted to the opposing sex. What made it different? Does homosexuality start from different ages? If the case is that they can't help it then you wouldn't have those who were in love with their wives and have children been married for so many years and then all of a sudden they are gay, they didn't know haow it happened. As for children, they have been put into a n environment that fosters suc behaviours and then you would see some parents who are so worried about that behaviour and then they say my child cna't help it. Well what if the child  start showing signs of being a murderer, would we just say oh they can't help it?

First of all it's procreation and not recreation.
Second, you do not agree with me, it is not for pleasure alone. There is always the possibility of pregnancy, with or without contraception. As stated it is a component, as in a part of. However not the main purpose.
For example, I don't know if this is the best example but I'll try. The components of a car are tires, engine , and more, however these cannot be on their own. The car also cannot be on its own, for the car to run every component must be there and in order, so it cannot do without. So is the same with sex. It's main purpose is for procreation, it is designed that way, however a component of it is pleasure. It just happens to be there, but that doesn't mean that its main purpose is pleasure. They are not co-main purposes, there is only one.
Even if a couple engages in sex just for the pleasure, there is always the possibility of pregnancy. It is mainly the end result.\
The problem is that society has taken it to a different level, giving sex the purpose of pleasure and then maybe procreation. It is designed the other way around.

Now the reason why I asked about sleeping with animals is that if sex is for pleasure, then that same pleasure can be gotten from an animal, so why not allow everyone to hump an animal?

Secondly we are the proper interpreters of it, after all we did put it together based on the knowledge from the apostles. Those that went against the teachings handed down to us were not included.

Second, Peter and Paul died on the same day.  Peter was crucified upside down and Paul was beheaded.

Third, you do realise that even though Peter was Bishop of Rome that he had no power over Roman matters. Don't be so carnal in your thinking to forget that all Christians, including the disciples were persecuted. If you feel that being Bishop means that yo have power, then shouldn't the disciples have been able to defend themselves? Like I said don't be so carnal in your thinking. What I was getting at is that it really is for procreation, well at lest among humans, I don't know how animals think.
If the purpose of sex was pleasure, then one can also get the same pleasure from animals. I was trying to make a case that it isn't mostly for pleasure.

Now there is a general concensus that the child born is Jesus, if Jesus is the child who is the mother? My guess is Mary, since the Mother of Jesus is Mary, and no one else.
There is also the notion that this passage is interpreted as the woman representing the Old Israel, this is true, which also means that Mary represents Israel and Jesus the New Israel.

Nature is designed to procreate, homosexuals can't procreate? A sperm and a sperm can't bring about new life, an egg and an egg can't bring about new life.

If nature was not meant to procreate it wouldn't have opposing sexes.

When they want procreate they need the opposing sex, so why not just get the opposing sex in the first place? You are moving against nature. We are supposed to be moving with nature, not against it.

I know it seems surreal. The Catholic Church, however does not go attacking the protestant churches, we let them be. When they ask about us, we tell them the truth. Sometimes they accept it, other times they do not. Most of the time they look at us as if we're weird. We move on, then there comes those who appoint themselves pastors spewing rubbish about the Catholic Church. The Catholic church only responds to them and ask them to understand us or respect us. Plain and simple, we're not trying to prove we're right, we just want them to stop spreading lies about out beliefs.
If you don't understand our beliefs just say you don't understand.

You will not find a Catholic that will go to Protestant site and start attacking protestants, catholics are always on the defensive. We don't go looking for trouble, but when trouble finds its way to us, we send it back to where it came from.

We don't have any intention of "proving" ourselves, the protestants are the ones who are always trying to show macho this, macho that. You see them competing against themselves even.

We don't have to prove anything to anyone, but we do stand up for our faith.

Not precisely, we don't have a legion of Mary at my Parish so I just pray in general for them.
When we start it, I will make room to be a full member. I believe we should set the world around God and not God around the world.

Time is really tight, but I believe I will be even more motivated when we can get it in my parish.
I currently get 6 hours of sleep, I don't mind losing 2 more for God's work. I loose it sometimes anyway when I have a major exam, so it's not like it will be new.

And if someone says the book is controversial and full of contradicting stories that you have ascribed a way to live one's life, then the person is lying.

The problem is not with the book, the problem is with the way people interpret the book. That is why Christ established only one Church and gave it authority. That Church still stands today and doesn't have contradictory interpretations of the Bible. But other self-appointed people bring their own interpretations to it, that's where the problem comes in.

Of course there will be others who won't understand, the problem is that they are too prideful, when refuted and corrected they result to calling people worshippers of the devil.

Me and you can read a book and come to different conclusions about what's being said. If it was meant to be read on your own and you come up with a conclusion, all of us would have been at each other's throats (it would be worse than now)

A friend of mine looked at me the other day and said, women are precious, it took a woman to bring the savior to the world.
He said the Lord truly put an enmity between the woman and the devil, because the devil is always atacking women and defiling their wombs.
God dwelt in the womb of a woman, making it holy, so the devil is always trying to make women feel worthless, ugly, and stupid. Make them feel that they need to be immoral in order for them to be worth anything.
No wonder women are the ones always with the biggest issues. Father issues, mother issues, men issues, societal issues.

Women need to value themselves more, if only they knew they were priceless, if only they knew the devil knows their worth, they will make him work hard, and they will continue to stop him in his tracks. If only they knew how pricelss they are.

Yes, i was once a catholic. A very good one; not sunday sunday catholic. while in Catholic church, I was a member of Legion of Mary and their secretary in that particular parish. "St. John's Catholic Church" Ogwuogor- Abakpa nike Enugu.

Our primary assignment are: Visit the sick, help the poor, help the old people, help couples that are childless, etc. This help mostly is not material help (giving money and others). but prayers for the sick, washing of clothes, gathering some certain things as may be required by the elderly people (old people) and many more, The unit "Legion of Mary" has no limit of work function.
