Good show Fashola, but you forget Low Cost Housing in Lagos State is usually pre-sold to Lagos Billionaires who rent it to Big-Boys at stupendous rates. Dolphin Estate Ikoyi was conceived as a Low-Cost Middle-income earners paradise, You wan try the billionaires who reside there?
Politics › Re: There Will Be Wild, Wild North If Pdp Rigs —bakare by lagerwhenindoubt(m): 2:55pm On Mar 16, 2011
I am still trying to grasp Bakare's slant. What has changed across all our "Democratic Elections" since Abdulsalami Abubakar, Even Free and Fair Elections are rigged in Nigeria. What exactly will boil, who will go wild, over who exactly? Why is this any different? dem no go wild when Yaradua/GEJ were super-glued on the Nigerian populace. Now for some unexplained reason, they will start boiling and going wild after eating the Biskit of Goodluck and the Rice of Patience. grin Nigerians will sooner switch focus to STARQUest or Nigerian Idols than start breaking out wild because Bakare/Buhari lost out to rigging. grin

Hey, I think we should hear this guy out, Raji Fashola was the one who master-minded the crashing of NIGCOMSAT Satellite into the Ogbomosho river where it was later retrieved by Tinubu to be used for spying on the GEJ Campaign proceedings. the renovated Satellite now comes equipped with high-powered Juju cannons that can shoot accusations at the rate of 10 per day shocked

My contacts in USA have confirmed Fashola to be involved in the crashing of the US economy through the use of text messages that crashed the New York Stock Exchange. and what about Elvis Presley, more information on that as soon as i contact GEJ sycophants wink

There should be Police notices about this incident, otherwise my native neighbors will be hunting for producers of movies that present occult and blood money rituals as well as yahoo-yahoo boys. I think it is a publicity stunt. I saw the trailer and a bit of the acting, I was not impressed save for the quality of the production/sound. I fear the acting/script won't hold me in suspense at all. but who am i to judge. Jeta, better contact the GEJ's special adviser on Nigeri-Delta, Emperor, Alhaji, Sultan Mujahid Asari Dokubo for immediate assistance  grin

Why don't you actually make sound arguments rather than simply resorting to huge blocks of quote and cartoons? Are you unable to construct sound arguments to support your position? I hope you realize that when you drag your Bible into a rational discussion, you're opening it up to criticism. Are you ready to defend your Bible from serious criticisms?
@homer, you are asking a man to go to war with nothing but his gonads hanging in the wind grin

Crystal clear evidence that MFM doctrines are NOT of christ but carnal man made teachings that deny him.
God Speaks, it becomes Man's responsibility to Understand/Interpret and Teach. Therein lies the problem, Man by Nature cannot be relied upon to be 100% "in-the-anointing". therefore most religious texts clearly show where true wisdom is revealed and where the interpreter was obviously either drunk, deceitful, manipulative or self-serving. How i long for those days when God actually wrote the book himself. very straight-forward, no riddles, no double-speak and no long grammar.

the bible lets us know, that when Jesus died he took upon himself sin and became the embodiment of sin, if it was so then what nature did he use in defeating the devil.

Dear Readers,

I MUST PUT IT TO YOU ALL THAT IS VERY EASY FOR PDP TO WIN LAGOS IN A LANDSLIDE VICTORY WITHOUT AN EYEBROW.

BUT LACK OF COORDINATED CAMPAIGN MANAGERS HAVE ELUDED LAGOS FROM PDP WE ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPEN IN 2003 .

BUT FROM WHAT I SEE A LOT OF PEOPLE DON'T KNOW POLITICS THEY BELIEVE THE IS BEEN DISCUSS IN THERE PUBLIC YARDS AND VENDOR STAND, MY PEOPLE I WOULD LIKE YOU GUYS TO GET SOMETHING STRAIGHT .

(1)GOVERNANCE IS DIFFERENCE FROM THE WAY WE SEE IT OUTSIDE GOVERNMENT.
(2)AND ELECTION CANNOT BE WON IN THE MEDIA BUT THROUGH PEOPLES VOTES.
grin   grin  grin

1: That must mean ACN has better coordinated Campaign Managers for a party that does not hold a congress before primaries and impose candidates instead of electing them. Guy, Since 2003 a Party like PDP cannot get better coordinated campaign managers ? Waoow! just waoow
2: You are right about your second point but your 3rd (A,B) just killed it on arrival. A lot of people are arm-chair political analysts and believe their personal opinion is the general consensus.
3: How do you see Governance outside Government kindly enlighten us. (that point really "weireded" me out)
4: Electioneering is all about Media and Publicity Campaigns! It is what brings your Political Agenda to the People, Voting on the other hand is the End-result of your Election Media and Publicity Campaign, here is the kicker? The Voting process for the forth-coming elections is already looking tainted with accusations of double-registrations, unverified registrants, manual voters register, bribing of INEC officials etc. While this is true for a Transparent Election, We have seen that in Nigeria, The people's votes can be stolen (very easily i might add)

And am still waiting for the day inec will announce an ibo man as Lagos governor. My friend either you don's know what you are saying or you just being sarcastic. Ibo man will never be the Governor of Lagos. This people are taking our civility for granted. No wonder the hausas will butcher them at the slightest provocation. Give them a plot of land and they will start claiming an hectare. Freaking bunch of bloody mofos.
Well if we are looking at facts then you are right but there is such a thing as an ideal situation. I happen to be yoruba  huh however the concept or idea is not to wait until easterners begin to show that they are de-tribalized but to show that your region is ready to appoint the best regardless the tribe or language. Lagos is a region of many ethnic groups that even rival the yoruba population in size and economic clout. why not engage such groups in the polity of the state?

Some idiots up in here are just so stup!d and dull, that they just can't do without tribalism for a microsecond. The poster's initial point was about picking a non-Yoruba running mate (who could actually be from anywhere, although he just used Igbo as an example), and what next do we see? A bunch of flat-skulled and narrow-minded retardos now making it entirely about Igbo. Congratulations, illiterates.
But you should know Nairaland by now. 80% illiterates, 10% Scammers and Marketers, 5% Religious Zeolots and 5% Sensible people (no be me talk am oooh)

Back to the Strategy of PDP Winning Lagos (It is too Late to Win Lagos)
ACN has lost a good percentage of the masses expectations of a vibrant regime (Fashola is working but he could be miles better without the 1-eyed crack-head at Bourdillon). PDP could have started early (4 years early) by sponsoring information  propaganda and enlightening the masses about the good and bad of ACN leadership (f'course people focus on the bad-sides more than the good). If they can win in the Court of Public Opinion, ACN will only have money-politics left to gain lost ground (and PDP has money to spare). PDP left it to the last minute  sad

I had initially ruled the Igbos out as a voting population that can turn the tide on any election but i am reminded each year when they (igbos) go home for Christmas - Lagos becomes a Ghost town. They are quite a huge influence on the Economic health of Lagos State, Why not Political, they are practically Lagosians (Tax-paying ones too)

Ethnic-colorization apart, an Igbo candidate for Deputy (it is a gradual process) will definitely be a fly in the ointment for ACN - it represents a new kind of social tolerance that people silently desire but are afraid to openly display due to the presence of illiterate, intolerant ethnically-biased ingrates we have in our midst.

2 Peter 2

"But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not."
Y'know I initially made you out to be a nutcase, but you are making sense here wink
Romance › Re: How Can U Detect When You Are In Love? by lagerwhenindoubt(m): 3:21pm On Mar 10, 2011
@OP when you fall in love there are some signs to watch out for, some are subtle but most are obvious

For Girls
1: You laugh at the slightest opportunity even when he is talking meecrob
2: You smile like the Joker from Batman when no one is watching
3: You day-dream about Life with whom you are in love with even when he has not approached you
4: You stop all pa-roll so as not to get noticed by your heart-throb cutting action recklessly
5: When your heart-throb is in the vicinity, you tend to call out loud to people standing in front of you and start behaving like an Aje-butta or worse Ini-Edo
6: The worms in your intestine get agitated due to the increased hormone activity (causing butterflies in your stomach)

For Guys
1: You start brushing your teeth regularly, dump your Old Spice pafooom and buy an expensive Azzaro brand
2: You start asking silly questions like "My Star is Crayfish, what is yours" but don't worry, if she feels the same way, she will laugh all the same
3: You start asking her friends for her birthday and likes and dislikes.
4: You think she looks better without her prescription glasses and ask her not to wear them  tongue Wrong!!
5: You will rather buy her a gift rather than send money to your mum who needs it
6: You know she is not all that but you insist to your friends that she looks like beyonce.
7: You start spending recklessly to impress  angry

That is what i observed from a distance not that it happened to me ooh

Tokotaya:
I'm curious. Can someone use your GSM number to withdraw money from your account? I dont see the connection.
It is very easy (if you think about it), Whenever i give out an OTC check up to and above N200,000, i get a call from the Bank asking me if it is okay to pay, they also ask me for my email address used to register my online bank account (this you can easily get). after this, they simply pay. rather than get bogged down with these confirmation calls, i handed the responsibility to my secretary, GTBANK are not even bothered that a girl is confirming a check for an account whose sole signatory is a guy. shocked

So if they forged a check or got one of his real check leaves, they can cash it without the owner even finding out about it since the call for confirmation won't reach him anyway and the SMS-Alert on the transaction will go to the stolen line. this is giving me ideas hhmmmn wink
