Please let my friend gets elected to the Senate and his cousin to House or Reps. (rubs hands with glee). |
Why some people read for argument rather than illumination beats me |
, Even jesus had an answer to doubting Thomas. Incontrovertible evidence. A rarity in our times. |
Jesus was described several times in the Bible buit not directly. Have you seen children of carpenters at mushin? You dare not complain about the odd mistake they made building your chair.(Jesus will not forget na for your head though) Do you not remember how he smashed trading sheds in the temple without one trader putting up a fight? Jesus definitely looked like a whiteman's TD Jakes so watch out for a WWE contender in his second coming. |
@36991 it is good of you putting things in the proper context :-) forgive my rather scant post. I am doing this from a mobile phone. I meant your follow-up after joagbaje's post. |
I am Head of SaveNigeriaBeerGroup, I must Visit ASO rock with at least 100 Thousand drunks. I am sure it will be customary to get $100 dollars to cover our vomiting and reveling costs ![]() |
Mygoldie:and allow the agberos boys on NL to make mince meat of your youthful virtues, allow the experienced to give you a good time ![]() |
Una free dis guy naow!! haba, it si just a song and guess what, Music has its stereotypes, especially in Naija, You need to mix with the flow or standout like ASA. For the Yoruba's it is loose Shade or snubbish but skank Funmi, for Igbos it is Wife-material Ifunaya, or Love-Sharp-sharp Ifeoma and for Hausa's it is Holy Aisha and for the rest it is Bootylicious Ekaette ![]() |
The Senators Tore Sanusi and Finance Minister to Shreds, they would not even allow them submit their defense completely before they rudely interrupt them to tell Sanusi that if as a CBN Governor he cannot understand the Budget then Nigerians are in Danger, How idiotic coming from a stank pudge-face mgati maggot. I was so pissed at the way the Senators conducted themselves. Yes it is a Panel but if the CBN Governor says he was reading from figures delivered to him by the Finance Ministry, why not question the error of clariity from Ministry of Finance? Why tell the CBD Governor he ought to know (Okay such things may have slipped past teh CBN Governor's eye) but heck, WT!!> |
1: The question looks to general, what are you evaluating exactly 2: What parameters (Finance, Emotional Stability, Mentorship etc) and are they universally measured in the same way 3: In what environment, Nigerian Christian Father is quite different from Nigerian Muslim Father in terms of Parenting Scope your question clearly to give users an idea how to answer |
Chivalry has changed with the times, rather than a clean coat over that dirty puddle, you get 1: Our company and time in the face of competing activities 2: That Recharge Card you always ask for and never use to call us back 3: That paid for trip to Dubai 4: The call back to say Hi, I miss you (Not) |

@Deep-Sight The Tree of Knowledge (of Good and Evil) is a Concept; I choose not to argue whether it is a physical Tree with Fruits since I am no Theologian by any stretch. (before someone slaps a wooden ruler on my posting hand). Allow me start in my usual bush-beating approach. ![]() In Hebrew it is occasionally referred to as the Tree of Conscience. This is an ability or a faculty that distinguishes whether one's actions are right or wrong. it is often described as leading to feelings of remorse when a one does things that go against his/her moral values, and to feelings of righteousness or integrity when one does what is usually accepted as the norm. In summary the Tree of Knowledge imbues Conscience into Man; it is the Roots of Choice The Tree of Life imbues Man with Immortality (no questions there) and both Trees are Smack Dead-Center of the Garden of Eden. Of ALL Trees in the Garden Adam and Eve may eat from but of these Trees they may not eat from. This situation brings me to Joagbaje's comment Joagbaje:I support this opinion and it will form the basis of my conclusion later. I reason that the entire story of creation is tied to three intertwined and central themes of Life; Purpose, Choice and Destiny Purpose: An anticipated outcome that is intended or that guides your planned actions. Choice: Choice consists of the mental process of thinking involved with the process of judging the merits of multiples and choosing one of them for action. Destiny:A predetermined course of events. (in a predetermined future) whether in general or of an individual. It is a concept based on the belief that there is a fixed natural order to the cosmos. The Architect (God) created the Angels Perfect (They were imbued with Immortality and Conscience) Man was not created Perfect. The Epic War in Heaven was caused by a Rebellious Angel and his supporters who mutinied against the hold of non-choice (being an automaton who must do as his Creator intended) The Flaw (no spite to devote Christians intended) with the Angels is the same Flaw that affects Man from the Fall at the Garden of Eden - Conscience too early (and Thank Heavens without Immortality). Man is Destined for PERFECTION (Tree of Life and Tree of Conscience); A Complete Revelation of the Divine Purpose of the Architect (whatever it is, I do not know cos I have not reached perfection yet) and this destination is arrived at by eating of the other trees in the Garden of Eden to fully mature well enough to try for the Tree of Life and Tree of Conscience. At which point Man would have achieved the Divine Purpose of The Architect. I reason the coming of Jesus is intended to rectify that fatal-flaw from the Fall and by example Christ demonstrates (from Childhood to Adulthood) the Journey of Man en-route to reaching Perfection as The Architect intended; Immortality and Conscience and still attaining the Purpose of God (without Rebellion) That is my submission; dissect at will |
^^^^ That is "Loving Grass" very bountiful supply in the Niger-Delta regions ![]() |
, please don't let this thread go south, it started off quite well ![]() |
Guys leave the girls, it is a recognizable Nigerian phonetic habit to interject with "y'know", "I don't know", "I mean", "Its like", "Shebi", "Baa","Yabaa" (You hear baa). I mean Americans say it all the time. It is a Naija thing y'know |
No wonder i hate maths. I came up with Dikface and Orangutang This trick is insulting me |
what is the point!? why argue when it is simpler to accept. The Christians have finally over-run Nairaland Religious Section. I have not seen one thread on the frontpage that aims to reveal rather than obscure the truth. |

The word Chook pronounced "shoook" has alternate representatives in the English vocabulary depending on the context in which it is used One thing is clear though. the action of chooking carries more Negative connotations than positive and is usually "Deep - as in depth of action" 1: Why you chook me for back - English alternate expression : A STAB in the back 2: Why you chook hand for me eye - English alternate expression : A POKE in the eye 3: Why you chook hand for my food - English alternate expression : A DIP in the pot 4: Why you chook my babe - English alternate expression : A DIP in someone's pot of soup and withdrawing with MEAT 5: I chook the bagaar for belle - English alternate expression : to SMOTE someone in the belly (Plunge Knife deeply and sideways like a gangster) like that BLACKAXE member in the Bible Abner "And Abner said again to Asahel, "Turn aside from following me; why should I smite you to the ground? How then could I lift up my face to your brother Joab?" But he refused to turn aside; therefore Abner smote him in the belly with the butt of his spear, so that the spear came out at his back; and he fell there, and died where he was" (2 Samuel 2:22-23 RSV) |
What has happened is that you removed or disconnected the Ipod without safely ejecting it usign the eject button from Itunes. Your Ipod now displays Connected even when it is not connected and Itunes does not recognize your IPod anymore Try this first 1: Press and Hold Menu and the Center Circle until the screen goes blank and resets with a white apple logo displayed 2: Plug-in your Ipod then Launch Itunes to see if you can now recognize your Ipod. If that does not work Try this second 1: Download the latest version of Itunes 2: Copy out your Itunes Music Folder to a different location and Uninstall Itunes and Delete the Itunes folder completely 3: Delete everything from your all your Temp Folders (C:\temp, Documents and Settings\<your name>\Appdata\Temporary Internet Files etc) 4: Install the downloaded Itunes 5: Restart your computer and retry the operation again That was how i resolved my problem |
Me sef:Mr sane Nigerian, remove the spec in your eye before pointing at the spec in other peoples eyes. we stink of hypocrisy, How did the Militants in the Niger Delta get their weapons, can you tell me that? Let us treat the security situation rather than fighting symptoms of a disease. and besides, why are you making insane assumptions, who said they should let iran be, God we can be so bleeping presumptuous. same issue with laundering our image abroad rather than treating real issues of corruption at home first. where did Boko haram get their arms and how come armed robbers have better weapons that the Police, where are the arms coming from? you simply ignore the disease and waste money treating symptoms. |
There shall be enough ganja in heaven. I must be there too ![]() |

WTF!! FG does nothing when Ibori, Odili and Oni smuggled arms to touts to ensure victory at elections, now they accuse Iraq of trying to sneak arms past Nigeria WTF!! I am sure IBB and his ilk are smoothly smuggling arms ahead of the primaries ![]() |
@readers, allow the guy naow he is just making his honest opinion. i guess that is okay as long as he is not trying to impose his thinking by manipulation, deception and force. ![]() |
