@Alexleo As long as you do not allow your zeal becloud your message, you are not a bad poster after all ![]() The sure way you can commit unpardonable sin from your explanation is by rejecting the identity of the Holy Spirit to a point that you die in that state of rejection. (which makes sense, how can you repent when you are dead) |
That means my VISA to HELL is stamped for all eternity then is it not ![]() |
^^^ you have not fully understood the Bible. It is a fixed but moving target,It can be completely filled with matter or void, it can be real and unreal, it can be plain common-sense or a mind-numbing mystery. It can pull a rabbit out of a hat and shove-poo-back-up-your-arse. When you truly understand how most followers of religions reason, you will appreciate your state of mental sanity dearly ![]() |
^^^ can you confirm for us who this man really is and if he is alive and well today? and please tell me if he still has his intestines intact cos i swear my brother's was removed and replaced with cotton ![]() |

Na wa for Nigerians' even if you get 1 billion posts against IBB what exactly will it do for Nigeria or how will it affect IBB are you guys planning on guilt-trippin a man who feels no guilt or bringing shame to someone who has no shame or just wasting valuable time on the internet when you should be out there where it matters the most. educating others and getting set to register for your voters registration card. Remember the rhyme "Sticks and Stones many break my bones but nothing you say can ever harm me" Words mean nothing, Action means everything, so get off Nairaland and ACT |
I cannot wait for this world to end so we can settle this finally, aaarg! ![]() |

hmmmn, majority said the same of Shagari then Buhari/Idiagbon, the same of IBB, many hated Ernest Shonekan and roundly praised Sani Abacha when he came into power (remember the consensus candidature of Abacha adopted by all parties , I still remember the lot of our politicians and citizenry who roundly accused MKO of being a drug Baron and praised OBJ as the man God called to rule from Prison, Yaradua (RIP) was praised as the prudent governor who will make sure corruption was stagnated and progress of his 7-point Agenda lift us from the economic doldrums of the OBJ/Atiku legacy, Alas, we all know how we wished him dead (already) for his lethargic pace and clueless political mien. Jboy was also praised to high-heavens as the man who never fought for anything but got everything. (inspite of EFCC probes levelled against his wife) GEJ is divinely appointed by God himself (Nigerians never fail to amaze me). let us wait and see (as usual) how we will all hound GEJ out of office (if he gets there) in the next 4 years, ![]() |
How come the quality, eloquence and value of GEJ's speech on facebook is a far-cry from his hoarse, aimless and distracted speeches and comments in real-life. that guy sounds like a drunk horse on cheap paraga with his ill-advised unguarded comments and emotional swings at each step. GEJ is a regular political retard. Divine Appointment my-backside ![]() |

@Poster, the said pastor is a real-life FALSE Prophet forewarned by Jesus Christ that will appear in the LAST DAYS Stop blaming non-Christians for the travails of Christianity, you live in false-hood and proclaim self-righteousness with egotistical confidence. modern Christians are actually spawns of SATAN ![]() @Poster Open your MIND, SPIRIT and BRAINS to the Wisdom of God not Man Test everything. Hold on to the good. (1 Thessalonians 5:21) But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping (2 Peter 2:1-3). |
better an Evil Genius that a certified retard ![]() |
what ever grain of confidence i had for GEJ out of spite of IBB and Atiku has been completely erased. this king of buffoons is acting like a baby who has been spanked by a girl and cannot take the egotistical trauma. How can you still be investigating the chief financier of the bomb blast that killed several nigerians and exposed you for the amateur arm-chair politician you are. HOW GEJ, you are still investigating a politician who plans to kill you., haba are you such a Arrow to think this cheap script will fool us once more BUFFOON! ![]() |

It infuriates me when Christian-illiterates (no insult intended) decide that Wisdom is a virtue (though rare) that can only be found on the pages of the Bible and nowhere else ![]() @yommyuk do you truly read your Bible with purpose or do you see it as a Travel guide for use in this Lifetime. The Bible contains some key truths about the Nature of Man and his ultimate purpose and relationship with his fellow man and his GOD (or Gods if you may). A lot of religions carry some key truths that are sadly embellished with politically/selfish-driven writings of men who understood Man's need for unification with a supreme being and exploited this to their own selfish interests. @yommyuk you represent a large (and growing) proportion of Christians who apply knowledge without wisdom or understanding. similarly there are a large proportion of Muslims who do exactly what you are doing and the result is akin to giving a playful child a fully-loaded automatic rifle to take to the playground. For you i have this to point out Rom 10:2 (NIV) For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. Some truths i have always admired from the Bible are from Proverbs, it has very little reference to the act of faithless-grovelling without credible cause or discernible reason and plenty of useful, practical truths on living a purpose fulfilled life. These truths are captured in three concepts quoted below Prov 3:19-20a By wisdom the Lord laid the earth's foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge the deeps were dividedProverbs in summary is a book of instruction that teaches you to
[li]1: Get Knowledge - Facts/Information/Experiences/Discoveries. it is a constant re-education process not a fixed exercise. it is never complete[/li] [li]2: Get Understanding - Meaning/Principles/Reason. it is an establishment (given facts and knowledge at that present time) of knowledge for others to leverage on[/li] [li]3: Get Wisdom - KNOWING What/How to do and the will to apply your understanding of knowledge you have acquired[/li]
In short; Knowledge is the facts. Understanding is the ability to lift the meaning out of the facts, and Wisdom is knowing what to do next. There are those who claim (i call them rabble-rousers) to have reached the level where they have an abundance of all 3 virtues (there are a handful on Nairaland so i won't mention monikers) but the simple mistake they make is Wisdom unlike the first 2 virtues of Knowledge and Understanding is a "Spiritual Enlightenment" process that requires one to obtain a spiritual revelation or deep insight into the meaning and purpose of all things, to communicate with or understand the mind of God, to achieve some other type of profound spiritual understanding, or to achieve a fundamentally changed level of existence whereby one's self is experienced as an unchanging field of pure consciousness. You cannot study up to a point that you can acquire it. To the OP and hundreds of posters like him, i plead with your consciousness to truly understand your Holy Book(s) and have the God-given Wisdom to apply it to you daily discussions because really,we are all here to achieve enlightenment for the life hereafter, not wealth, freedom from sickness and disease and spiritual attacks etc. Cheers and Peace in the Middle-East |
Please posters, GEJ is as eloquent as the next militant. his eloquence was abruptly truncated by the bomb explosions which caused his tele-prompter machine to spark and cease. That was why he started sounding like a horse on cheap paraga ![]() |
Yekini. you have truly served your nation well. who can forget that beautiful lob-pass you caught from with your back turned and with two defenders on each side. you calmly cushioned the ball (while in motion) took one step and kaBLASTED! a shot that rocked the side post, the shot has been engraved in the keepers memory for LIFE!! Yekini, you will always remain my World's Best Striker after George Opong Weah. Live the rest of your life in Peace, sorry about your marital problems and pray for peace of mind. Yours Truly ![]() |
I was in deep prayers and meditation that at some point in the celebration, God will personally touch the hearts of our leaders in the midst of the celebration. I had little clue that the Devil was already on ground to participate fully in the celebrations. Alas! our generations will not see a Great Nigeria for at least another 50 years. |
@Poster, I think the reluctance is borne from the fact that sometimes (for unknown reasons he sees fit) GOD does not reward his followers as richly as they expect and there is pressure mounting from several quarters for a young and upcoming middle-class income earner when it comes to paying tithes. Example, Bro. AdeKinglsey FaroukOgene just got a job that pays N50,000 after 5 months of relentless fasting and praying and several night-vigils at one of the Camps along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway (fortunately without any fatal accidents).from a monthly salary of N10,000 to N50,000 is quite a leap of 500% rewards right wrong, let us do a hypothetical valuation1: Take out N5,000 monthly for transportation (BRT only, excluding okada) 2: Take out N3,000 monthly for okada fare 3: Take out N2,000 monthly for guguru/ekpa moi-moi and puff-puff (as lunch and dinner is served at home) 4: Take out N10,000 monthly for proper feeding (kerosene and firewood and wickets for stove and other condiments ) 5: Take out N3,000 for monthly bathing toilet paper/soap/cream/toothpaste/chewing stick and laundry/ironing 6: Take out N2,000 for monthly GSM calls and SMS and kalo-kalo (treasure-hunt etc) 7: Take out N2,000 for monthly for unplanned spending (like allowance at police checkpoint or send N100 recharge to girl-friend etc) 8: Take out N5,000 for monthly Esusu contribution 9: Take out N5,000 for monthly allowance to aged parents and siblings 10: Take out N2,000 for monthly fuel for generator/engine oil and spark plugs 11: Take out N2,000 for Emergencies like (NEPA-don-blow-TV, money to suck soak-away pit when full, Landlord relative is dead etc) 12: Take out N1,000 for monthly for Sunday offering @ N100 per Sunday Service and N50 for other worship days that fall on Week days 13: Take out N3,000 for installment remission of debts owed during days of trials and tribulations 14: Take out N2,000 personal savings towards paying rent next year. My point is, when your rewards are not large enough to change your situation drastically by at least 1,000,000% then it becomes difficult to remain faithful as your rewards (though large) are just enough to delay the trials and tribulations just for a short time. Pastor Chris can afford to pay his tithes without fail and quite happily too. His rewards are over 1,000,000% so he can give out N100,000 without breaking sweat ![]() |
just as you find a lot of nairalanders who support obvious crimes of morals and wrong-doing just because in their biased state of mind, you will also find millions of Nigerians who cannot recognize that GEJ like every president Nigeria has ever borne is not a honest man. we can cry all we want , grab all the bags of rice and cabin biskit, sell our votes it will not stop the inevitable, Nigeria will continue to go down the gutters of lost hope and 150 million impoverished minds ![]() |
ilosiwaju:Do you really believe that prayers work (if it works) at all!? can you prove it practically here on nairaland I dare you |
kieryn:Ma Friend gettawaythere, you mean to say that there is no purpose to death, so what is the purpose of living in the first place? There is an After-life as there is an After-life after the After-life, when the war in heaven broke between Satan and God, many Angels died, so where did they go after they died ![]() |
@harakiri. abeg no vex because e no work for you. It has worked for me to the point i was tagged Juju-Priest back in boarding school. I believe the Human Mind has limitless potentials that we are barely beginning to understand or even touch I read a lot of occult books back in my secondary school days but never bothered to try out stuff like invoking spirits or demons. There is one thing though? if you believe in something completely, you can have a material effect on the reality of those around you and indeed your environment. As usual I was dead-hungry and out of provisions (namely garri and salt) in my near hallucinatory state, I thought to myself, why not form a spell with 3 wishes which i did by drying up the bones from the fish i had for supper and burying it in our school farm for 3-days, I also had a trigger incantation to activate the wish and this i memorized. The moment of truth. Stingy Mike was a lad who was famed for never consuming his provisions (Cabin, Milk, Milo) he took them back home each term. I pulled out my charm and activated it with my magic words, i went up to mike and straight told him to take out his Cabin and give to me, he did without a pause and carried on like nothing happened. . The next wish was on my PE Master. I was punished for not attending PE one day and he asked that I appear in front of his office the next day (just across the parade ground where everyone will witness the floggin). I did my thing again and wished that the PE master forgot all about me. I never showed-up and never got punished (Mr.Lawrence never fails to punish anyone, not once), The last wish was actually a curse on a senior in Form 3. he promised me some money to copy notes for him and in the end refused and punished me instead. He was still in form 3 after i passed WAEC and left the school. I know, there is a logical explanation to all of it. but heck it was JaZZ for me ![]() |
@InesQor please stop sharpening these people's minds, I was just about to form a new religion based on a forgotten Alien who piloted the star that let the 3 wise men to baby jesus. how am i supposed to manage that now ![]() |
We can cry and scream and be horrified all we want, no change is going to come about by complaining. you have to ACT to bring about change. We cannot act alone but as a cohesive, socially and politically unified force cutting across religion, ethnicity and class (we are all poor anyway) ![]() |
