Live in America since 2013? You are in a typical denial. I think you should campaign for Tim Scott for President of USA, labeled Uncle Tom. But I can understand and respect you feelings coming from: In how many Nigerian states can another Nigerian whose parents came from another ethnic group in Nigeria stand for election and be voted for, not to talk of non-Nigerians? Every where I turn in this country, I see Nigerians,The short answer to your question is the WEST but that must change since you got drunk with impunity. There is not enough time or space to tell you about Nigerians that were elected or appointed in Italy in charge of Immigration or the one in Alberta Canada as Attorney General to enforce the worst intolerance of Blacks in the most conservative Province in Canada. Las Las, used and dropped. You must have heard about American born Barak Usein Obama and the backlash called Trump. He got bashed on all sides including from African Americans who claimed he did not have their experience. Look at the embarrassment that happened in Nigeria in the last election cycle where people were brutalised on the streets for looking like they come from a certain part of the country? You must be talking about the Igbo owners of Lagos. Try that in America or find out about late Harry Belafonte, an American born Icon and Civil Right leader when he tried to run as a Senator from New York. They told him about his Jamaican father. Herbert Macauley handed NCNC to Azikiwe which he used to be elected to City Council in Lagos and a seat in the West. It was not enough o! Bode George reserved seats for Igbo by which they got elected to Lagos House. Until they abused the accommodations and one of them sponsored English only in the House of a Yoruba State. In case you are not aware, Peter Obi won the last Presidential election in Lagos. It was not enough. He committed political malpractice by going to Alaba to thank Igbo that make up "90% of Lagosians". He took Gbadebo Chinedu with him. During the Election Lagos was the safest place to be. Indeed the only dead was a Yoruba thug killed by Igbo in broad daylight (I personally believe he was shot by Police). Try that in USA where they tie Blacks to the back of the truck and drag them on rural untied roads. Or worse still, where they use black children as young as 11 years and those older for Police ritual killings. Do you expect Yoruba Youths to be as foolish as their parents? Western Nigeria remains the most civilized place to be from time memorial and today as long as you do not beat your chest as developers and owners of Lagos Now, let me warn you. You have only been in the States since 2013 and I have given you examples of those Blacks in America before Columbus. Be careful, America no be Lagos o! |
Obviously you do not know what you are writing about. You sound like one of those slaves shipped out of Africa that were told they should be grateful for their journey to the "free world" where they enjoy. Otherwise the African Natives could have had them as breakfast. Go and live there for considerable time and come back to repeat the indoctrination coming out of you. Thank Trump for exposing them today as if some of us do not know them all along. You are so naive, I have to restraint myself from calling you names. RedboneSmith: |
Which other ethnic group in the world can be classified as tolerant and accommodating, the real meaning of civilized. |
Surprised by the rate in Venezuela, India, Pakistan, Egypt and Russia. |
Henryfortune:This is the question I want people to answer. You may not like him, he may not be the most handsome but smart enough to marry someone prettier than you. Disagree with him all you want but stay factual and dispute his assertion with "alternate or fake facts". Hate only messes and fowl up the air. |
Finally, some people are having heart to heart consultations Let us pray they succeed for the good of not only Nigeria but for the sake of Africa. |
If you cannot use the money you work for to make yourself happy, it is not worth a thing. After all, he worked and made foreign money not by laundering Nigerian income. However, cars and other inanimate adornments only give you temporary pleasure until the next toy. Joy comes from elevating and seeing people down the hill from your house at the top happy and creating more happy people around you. Nothing except hard drugs give you euphoria but then only temporarily until you wake up. Blame Dantata/Dangote, Ibeto, Otedola, Abiola and even Darocha or Pa Ojukwu all you want; they leverage their money with Other People's Money to create investment and jobs that elevate people out of poverty. Candy stores are for kids and old fools that part with their money. No fool would be rich forever, it only happens in a song. Check out old money that last from one generation to another. Check out a country or state that grew on mere cocoa earnings but went into abject poverty with deluged oil money. Davido, enjoy! |
There is no length or breath Nigerian politicians cannot go loot and fool the gullible masses. Fearing obsession with money is the beginning of wisdom. |

Boy, I remember that. But you are wicked sha. yinkus6750: |
Harder and longer to build, easier to destroy in no time. All these politicians start new projects instead of completing old projects so that they can inflate and loot new allocations. |
Things have gotten out of hand. There used to be a time we give Igbo, Ghana or Hausa names. Especially, second names. My favorite Igbo name for girls is Chiwe or Ngozi |
This guy was writing about a group of people only. Some members of others groups are on defensive already. What a country! Go anywhere in the world, the focus on good deeds in Africa is about the same as this guy noted. |
This caught my eye because of a previous discussion with friends. Let me just say apart from cut throat competitions you have between colleagues everywhere, put discrimination because of color and country of origin even for our children born overseas, on top. I was so sensitive in Nigeria, I thought a senior mentor and a cousin was trying to get me out of my job. Of course I reported him at home. One of my uncle laughed at me and told me he was trying to encourage me. This is Nigeria not America! MrBrownJay1:Lagos is overrated. Civilized people avoid Lagos, Abuja and cities like them. Try Ibadan for a civilized city. Oloki:Money you do not print that has no gold backing whatever and can only be invested for value outside your country is not civilization. Building that are "beautiful" to your eyes do not last a decade without maintenance is not civilization. People and culture of tolerance within and to strangers is civilization. Growing up as children was the best part of our lives without oil money that has turned our land and Youths into abject poverty. Abroad is not civilization. |
We have been so badly indoctrinated by foreign hype to the point of suffering and smiling. Even in the most desirable jobs we lie to ourselves and others that we live a civilized and beautiful lives abroad. Knowing full well how we are hated on those jobs by privileged colleagues waiting to push out. Our notion of beauty is in foreign land where we are not only second class citizens devoid of basic rights but our lives can be wasted by anyone without questions asked. Unless, of course your dire case gain civil rights attention while cameras are capturing your plight. When you instruct your children how to tall to Police, stay out of certain areas, your own life can be taken anytime. Yet, Africans send us videos of "beautiful and civilized" cities while they walk hours to odd jobs at night lucky to survive gangs and gun attacks. These are the same people who claim rights, privileges and brag with impunity in African cities they migrate to. What is wrong with our mumu brain? |
Nigerians are rushing OUT Foreigners are rushing IN TsbAfrica: |
Even if the name of the bridge is cast in stone, it can be renamed! |
Do not justify nonsense. Yoruba culture does not support disciplined. Do not hide behind Yoruba to prove distasteful impunity like other ethnic groups around the world. slimfit1: |
Maxymilliano:You took it out of my mouth. |
Money money money! So what has that got to do with her papa? Find out about a country where money has reduced them to abject poverty. |
Duro, You know that Omo-Alaran is part of the Oriki of some Yoruba. Is Aran or velvet imported or there is a local design or origin like Aso_Oke or beads? |
Why it difficult for some people to understand this girl has been abused too. She got the passion for dick sucking from adult male in the same house. She transferred it to the little boy. Both of them are victims. |
My gut reaction reminds me of Godwin Maduka, a man that gave almost everything to the point where I feared he would lose it all. Most world universities have at least broken even as Not For Profit. I have no problem with private schools but many of them pay low wages to staff and charge high fees. In Nigeria, even with abject poverty, there are enough people who can afford these private universities and highly educated others willing to work for low wages. Let us wish this Samuel Maduka well. |
Joining the military has moved from the position of disdain to prestige since a new class of rulers and looters has been created at the top. If Nigerians are so desperate to join the ruling class, they would do anything including risking their lives at home and abroad for printed money. Self pride and morals have gone out the window. |
Is there anything between Igbo and Yoruba Youths these that is not full of hate? This is sad. Just stay out of one another's reach or space before this nasty feelings turn to something else. It was not how Youths grew up. Hate is infectious. |
Let me repeat it. No reasonable man, whichever party he belongs to would want the support of these hooligans. |
Whichever side you are, who wants to be in the same party with these hooligans |
She is a pretty lady. Looks collected and cool. |
It is true that in Saner Climes, he would have been shot. But do not think African Police are better unless you mean they would not shoot him with impunity in Public like American or European Police would do anywhere. Even in Black neighborhoods. They never born that Nigerian Police wey go tia am whia they are outnumbered. |
I am. not sure if he is faking it but the sight is enough to make someone sad. Nigerians run into distress overseas for many reasons. The harder they work the more stressful it becomes. Pile that on top of demands from home and the false sense of wealth. Even if they send them back home, who is going to take care of a mad man that used to take of them? |
