Students from all over Nigeria and Africa relocated to Western Nigeria to gain Free Education.

Buhari has private Oil pipeline while shouting about corruption.

Politics / Re: If Nigeria Were A Business Entity, It Would've Been Sold To Pay Debt - Imumolen by laiperi: 5:20pm On Oct 24, 2022
missionmex:
America to pay their debt which is in $ can easily print money and pay. That cannot be said of Nigeria as we have to get whatever currency before we can pay our debt. That my friend is the difference.

You nailed it but they will always come up with senseless counter talk.

Americans spend their money in America and America owes more Americans than outsiders. Even if Chinese demand their money from America and the dollar falls, China will hold ordinary Zimbabwe papers.

America and other western countries are where Nigerian looters store their money. Even offshore like Panama and Pandora are kept in American dollars.

American debts generate contracts, tech and manufacturing in their country. Nigeria export American and European money they do not print at home.

One would think this is obvious to well meaning Nigerians but the children of those who abandoned billions in America and run home for fear of prison would always defend them.

Even worse, Nigeria export most valuable talents to work as slaves abroad and brag to those at home so that they can die as organ donors in desert and seas to cross over.

You are right.

Even Black Americans Civil Right Fighters called themselves Black Panthers!

AB10:

Akata means a wild cat that does not live at home. It is supposed to be an endearing term for those we lost to slavery. However, it has been weaponized as derogatory, a slur in fact.
It is better not to use it for African Americans if you want peace.

Herodotus writings before or after Christ has become a distraction to sidestep the main facts published by the writer.

Did Ogiso and Ijaw come from Ife?

RedboneSmith:

Herodotus who lived hundreds of years before Christ recorded the European attack on Benin which happened more than two thousand years later, in AD 1897? Ahn Ahn, boss. Fear God small na.

Nigerians only present looters, terrorists, drug peddlers and ritualists for President.

Anyone without those experiences need not apply.

It is still amazing that Godwin Maduka could not even be elected Governor.

Sowore and Maduka are activists without experience.

So!

Kaiso is a type of music popular in Trinidad and Tobago, and other countries, especially of the Caribbean, such as Grenada, Belize, Barbados, St. Lucia and Dominica, which originated in West Africa particularly among the Efik and Ibibio people of Nigeria, and later evolved into calypso music.

Each time you see abject poverty anywhere in Africa, blame it on Nigerian politicians first before individual countries.

If these do or die followed the days of Nkrumah, Azikiwe, Awolowo, Balewa and Animu Kano; the is no way Nigeria would be in this mess.

Nigeria that stood up for all Africans at home and Diaspora gave birth to cowheads. Even Ants plan their population and resources better than Nigerians.

We were too busy beating our chests on past glories and achievements nobody contributed to.

Just look at the glorification of Presidential candidates and praises of ghetto called progress as magnificient records.

No wonder our best talents are selling one another and selves into slavery with their life savings.

Health / Re: Doctors Recruited From Nigeria To Work In UK Hospitals Lament Exploitation by laiperi: 6:56pm On Oct 11, 2022
This is deeper than inferiority complex.

Africans that voluntarily japa to sell their organs, would not sell their talents at any price? In this case stolen skills from developing countries. There are no slave ships forcing Africans in. It costs a life savings to buy a ticket.

Nigerians go for the highest bidder, no matter where their skill or labor is needed. I keep on saying it, do not train doctors by other countries' standards. Our medical needs are primarily infectious and parasitic diseases that can be treated by more Community Health Officers. These japa doctors know more about exotic foreign diseases than African diseases.

Do not blame doctors alone, most Nigerians want to earn British or U.S money without investing at home. The first million or less a Nigerian makes is to buy ticket asking for where he can invest outside Africa. Looters steal billions to take out.

Do not forget, Nigerians rejected cassava bread that can be source at home for wheat bread sourced outside home. The same is true of most things, even when Europeans and Americans pay more for organic foods we mostly grow at home.

You were born African, you want to be white, eh. You will pay through your nose. High tech slavery, no be small.

Politics / Re: Peter Obi: We Will Remove Import & FOREX Restrictions by laiperi: 1:06pm On Oct 07, 2022
There are sincere arguments on both sides but it should saddens every African that we still think importation on free liberal market is our Salvation.

Yes, China paid a price for closed market but in the end there is economic progress to show for it. It went from famine to food export.

China sucked import of factories in with cheap labor. By the time USA realized that they depend on China cheap import, it was too late. Even ordinary Covid-19 products like mask have to be rebuilt at a higher cost at home.

My question is if Nigerians have been suffering based on cheap imports like food, machineries and labor forever, how much more price are we willing to pay, for how many more years?

China and other Asian countries paid for their closed markets. Indeed, no country including USA has an open market, they have selective open market. Listen to their politicians on both sides rail against free market!

Why do Africans use their intellect to argue for dependency, free and open market when no other developed or middle wealth country does?

All for self-interest that has never moved any country forward. What have we gained from Structural Adjustments, Devaluations and importation of used goods, garbage and foreign skills called expatriates.

They sold us Structural Adjustments and Devaluations using our foreign graduates from their universities to back them up and apologize for Structural Adjustments later.

Which African country has ever recovered?
Politics / Re: Peter Obi: We Will Remove Import & FOREX Restrictions by laiperi: 12:18am On Oct 07, 2022
Here we go again!

Some people will never stop until they liquidate Nigeria patapata.

Atiku wants to sell all assets owned by Nigeria.

Obi wants to open Nigeria yash wider for foreign bangers.

Tinubu wants to see Biden as USA spy so that all the money stolen can remain safe in America. He should go and ask Noriega.

Poor Nigeria, everyone for himself, nobody for the people because many are daft.

It was this same liberation of the economy that turned us into abject poverty by importing garbage and emptying foreign reserve.

They call it different names.

But then, Sowore is not a looter, terrorist, ritualist or a drug peddler.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!

Please leave him out of this

How many of them did he marry?

Blue86:
As the man before said, that if you knew the behavior of this people searching for husbands, you would pity the husbands.

I will also add, most of this women searching for husbands, are searching for husbands in the form of a fat bank account.
Which probably won't look their way, bit just to sleep with them.

But if people followed Christ Jesus, and listen to his leadings, he will guide them to lie down in peace.

PS : Believing in Jesus is not the same as walking with Jesus.
However walking with Jesus starts with believing in Him.

There is nothing wrong in adopting children....'Children don't have sin'.

For those advocating that the adoption should be kept secret, we all know eg Flavour adopted a boy from Liberia who is growing fine and to being a handsome man

My little concern is in the area of inheritance, will the adopted children get equal share like the biological one or they should just be give something to at least get by in life?

Just asking and I need intelligent response.

The best time to show appreciation to children and adopted children is through inheritance. How much are you willing to give a child that called kidnapper on you because he thinks you are "stingy "?
Family / Re: Adoption Is Not Worth It At All by laiperi: 1:18pm On Oct 01, 2022
Please do not blame Op for speaking from personal experience. The way a kid turns out depends not only on genetic but also environmental factors.

It is nature v. nurture.

The majority of those that brought Nigeria down today, in drugs and rituals have legitimate fathers and mothers.

Many fathers and mothers will tell you that out of all their children, those taking care of them today are adopted children from outside or from relatives.

Bestcreamreview:
Your points are not valid at all because many children who grew up with their real parents end up doing yahoo, cultism and other vices. Adoption is not the reason they ended up like that, I can't believe someone would come up with something like this, it makes zero sense, I don't know how some of you think
