ValerianSteel:It is only in Nigeria we have silly ignorants like you who can obey SIMPLE RULES! The only thing you understand is FORCE! ![]() That account, even if it has one Billion, will still be "locked" .... until you develop sense and come around to explain why you cant obey simple instruction. Only Criminals like you develop cold feet, when the system is getting sanitized. Lastpage! |
erico2k2: erico2k2:Sewer-Rat!! ![]() To call someone "rude" is not insulting? ...... or are you the one he insulted? .... moreso when the matter is already dying-down between the parties involved! ![]() Half-baked Nitwit. Lastpage! |
Darlduchi:Most likely you are mentally deranged as a result of poverty and Hatred? How can Yorubas be fighting for secession when we have produced the President of Nigeria on so many occasions, we currently hold the Vice Presidency of Nigeria and we own the current ruling party (APC) in Nigeria? Yes, Yorubas seek "equity" within the current Nigerian framework but we are no TRAITORS like you Nyanmirins! At least the S/South like PA Clark are clear on their objective: Give us more share of the Oil money. NO HATRED, TRIBALISM and BIGOTRY.... unlike you Yiibos! Biafra is a just a pipe-dream in the jaundiced brain of Igbos! ![]() It Is DEAD and BURIED ......the moment Odumegwu Ojukwu ran away and then came back to contest for Presidency under the Nigerian Flag, became an "ELECTED POLITICIAN" under the Nigerian Flag and you Nyamirins did not even vote for him in the Presidential election he contested for, under the Nigerian Flag! ![]() Wake-Up! Wake-Up!! this is 2015,.... not 1967! No freedom for our Slaves! ![]() Lastpage! |
That is what you get, when you turn yourself into an "Eye-Service President". Mr. E Clark is just a "vulturistic opportunist" who like practices what we call "Any Govt in Power". The man is shameless, greedy and lacks the minutest level of dignity! But then, Citizens get the kind of Leaders they deserve! Most of you SaTANoids were praising him back then, including this same Ijaw Youth Organisation! So, where is their moral standing to criticize the old Goat? (Respect to his age! )Take for example, the conduct of the same YOUTHS, with respect to our current President: The same Youths, though mostly the "hate-filled" Ibos, are criticising willy-nilly, without applying any logic and sense. Point is, Your antecedents will speak for you, over time. We must all seek to be truthful and have moral dignity, irrespective of party, religion or tribe. Nuff Said. Lastpage! |
erico2k2:Gerrout my friend, you dont need to cry more than the bereaved! Those two have already called it quits on the matter and here you are trying to inflame matters.. or did he ask you to come to his defense? ![]() There is a way to "intervene" in a matter without "brazenly" taking sides ...or causing more conflagration. Relax O. ![]() Lastpage! |
abdulwastecx:Nice! Well done Bro! More power to your elbow. Abdul, what is the name of the wood l highligted? That circled part is used to tie down the wooden beam (I think?) Is it Rubber, wire rope or 10mm iron? What is it please. Another question: How do you generally tie down a roof in a multi-storey dwell? What is your prefered method? It cant be oja'agba, right? ![]() Lastpage!

EgunMogaji:Why not just "dig' part of the hillside to fill up wherever you needed 300 Tons to fill? ![]() Being a "House on a Hill", why would you still need a very high foundation that requires 300 Tons of Laterite to fill? ![]() I pity those of us living on flat/low land! Our 'Laterite Budget' should be enough to build a Mansion! Hmmm....Dearis God o! So, you are not less than 120KM from the MM Airport!..assuming there is not there is no traffic at all! if we factor bad roads, road risk/security issues, religionists along the route, e.t.c, into your commute........... Hmm, .....very interesting location l dare say! BTW: Ibadan is a naturally very Hilly/Upland landmass and l dare say that looking for that sort of features in Lagos will mean that one would have to wait until there is an "Earthquake-Tsunami", which may probably uproot some of those Hills, down to Lagos! ![]() I dey envy you no be small, Walahi! ![]() Lastpage! |
KolaShangOne:Sir, Referring ti the highlighted. l proffer that the definition of that phrase "The Court Works" will have to be different for Nigeria and countries like the U.K/U.S/Europe because that IS NOT how their own court system works! I bet Egun can attest to that. If with all the highlighted we still say "The Court works".... then its some sort of Court o! ![]() ..and that is why l can qualify that "The Court works" ..............with the phrase "to a certain extent". Lastpage! |
EgunMogaji:I hope he has not also bought one of them bad-fuel when there is a fuel shortage? I remember it knocked out a few Engines some years back! The thing is l am speaking in "general terms" ... that-is, what obtains with about 85%/majority of the Nigerian populace .... and not what necessarily obtains with Egungun, which may be particular and peculiar to him. The court system in Nigeria works "to some extent" but it can never be compared to the court system in US/UK/Germany and some European countries. That Maverick and Co decides not to exercise their "legal rights" on issues bordering on fraud and criminality is their choice and saying the court not working properly" is not an excuse. I think its just a matter of "personality and disposition"." You can still make the best of what is available, if you are keen on doing so. Having said that, you cannot compare the Justice System in these foreign countries to that of Nigeria. Even Judges here adjourn cases for a reason as simple as "NEPA has not brought light" or "Computer has broken down and we cant retrive a document"! ![]() I bet that is also frequent in those places, right? That is why l said we are talking in "general terms" and not necessarily drilling down to "specifics of individualities". EgunMogaji: You see the things that most don't know or want to admit is that the US is not that different from Nigeria. Fraud, theft, burglaries, home invasion robberies, car jackings, illegal immigration, business swindlings, rapes, etc all occur here on a regular basis. The difference is that you have a government that is ready to pursue to satisfaction.Just saw the bolded part now.. With that "admission statement" of yours, l guess there is nothing more to argue about. If and when we have a Govt in Nigeria that removes that "difference" (between Nigeria and say the U.S) and is ready to pursue all these atrocities to satisfaction, then we can start talking about "Things work in Nigeria, the same way it does over there". End of story! Lastpage! |
EgunMogaji:At the bolded! How l wish we can all have our houses located on-top of a Hill! But about 95% of Nigerians dont have their house on a Hill .... infact most have it in a valley or between a "Jungle of Storey buildings", crammed together ..that relying on God-given air is a luxury! Please visit Idumota, Lagos Island and Mainland, to appreciate what l am saying. ![]() Power, AC and/or "speed" fan is a necessity, 24/7. ![]() I think you are an "idealist", which is a good thing though because you may "stand-out" from the crowd. Lastpage! |
EgunMogaji:You mean you leave your windows open in Winter (or is there no Winter in Souther C.A?) ... yet you heat the house? Why would you be opening your windows 10times daily? ![]() That must be a big job in itself! C'mmon, lets be realistic here, this is not a fisticuffs of some sort. I agree though, that Nigerians import a lot of "low-quality" items, especially from China, that dont conform to established US/British/E.U standards. But l have bought a few things from those climes as well, which were not expected to be kept constantly under almost 40"C heat, shipped them to Nigeria and therefore ended-up with a "reduced lifetime". THIS IS A FACT. Anyway, each to his own. ![]() Lastpage! |
abdulwastecx:I agree with you that Aluminium does not rust but "may" corrode. .............."may" being the operative word here! Having said that, the corrosion in "PURE" Aluminium does not lead to leakage. In "Chemistry-speak", the oxidation in Aluminium is more of a "whitish, very thin surface residue", left on the "surface of the Aluminium". As long as it is pure Aluminium, the worst such can cost is "unsightly appearance"..... it wont "dig a hole" in the Aluminium. One of the reasons it is used in Air-plane body manufacture. In most cases, it is when another metal is mixed with Aluminium to form an Aluminium Alloy, that the corrosion becomes very noticeable when exposed to air/water. This is "anodized Aluminium" corossion Lastpage! |
adeekiti:Oga Adeekiti, Pure Aluminium is a a metal on the Periodic table and by its molecular component, it does not "rust/react" with air and water. Therefore, in its "pure form", IT DOES NOT RUST! This has nothing to do with what "oyinbo manufacture", Sir! It is either Aluminium.... or it is not. Those manufacturers know very well they are selling us an adulterated product! Too much Fraud in Nigeria!.... everybody wants to defraud you with "packaged-fake" things!! Lastpage! Editted |
mufutau55:Right on the button Hajj! I suspect what we are being given is an "adulterated mixture of Aluminium and cheap metal". For the records. Aluminium cannot rust... except if adulterated. Lastpage! |
FastShipping:You mean it is practical to run A.C, 24/7... just because one can afford it? ![]() Its not always about the money. Practicality, convenience, economics,Electricity, safety and a gamut of other things come into play! Its like l laugh when l see some Nigerians install "fireplace" in their living room! Thats just "blind, copy-copy" mentality! The Westerners that use a fireplace, use it for a practical purpose.... not just a beauty accessory that Nigerians have turned it into. Lastpage! |
EgunMogaji:I think you are missing the point! Nigeria is unique in certain things that affect what we can do. take a car body paint for example. I have used a vehicle in the states for five years, parked under the sun, rain and snow and the paint hardly showed any discoloration. I shipped the same type of vehicle down to Nigeria about the same time, for my folks back home and within two years, it needed to be re-sprayed! My Dad is a car-lover and takes very good care of his car (over the years) and `when he told me it is discoloured, l knew it was from parking it under our inclement weather! My point is, it does not always work in Nigeria, the way it works yonder. Lastpage! NB: I agree with you on the "quality" statement tho', all things being equal. |
EgunMogaji: ![]() ROFL You need a flexible but multi-layered Security System that responds to "perceived threats".... which changes over time. Lastpage! |
adeekiti:Those windows are opened in the summer but for most of the remaining part of the year, due to the cold weather, they remain shut. They dont even have Burglary-Proof in them! Now, consider Nigeria where there is hardly light and at times, petrol is scarce, rain is crazy, not to mention our 34-Degree Centigrade weather! When that window gets opened and closed five times every day, l bet you it will need replacement within one year! ![]() Its a good thing to see and appreciate certain things in a foreign climate but it is another to try to import it "wholesale", into Nigeria. ![]() Lastpage! |
wakabout: Jazz him now.... or is it not your sweat? By the time he starts having bad dreams, and then graduate to losing his job and then having a "small warning" accident.... You will just asking him if he wants you to "increase the tempo" and finish him off finally. You will come back one day to meet your house empty. ![]() Cunny-man die, Cunny-man bury am! There are so many ways to kill a cat Lastpage! |
EgunMogaji: ...And making an "example or scape Goat" of anyone who does criminal things BTW: He never accepted Liability => denied it. ![]() Because he did nit deny, does not mean he accepted Liability. He is a cunning Fox! ![]() Lastpage! |
OZAOEKPE:Just do the needful as indicated below! ![]() Lastpage!
|
RisMas:Saudi Arabia is not different from Israel! Both are terrorist-sponsoring states, Evil and destined for destruction by God himself. That some Nigerians are stewpid enough to be visiting the two "House of Demons", shows how religion has made some very silly! Lastpage! |
dainformant:I hope these "laughing Eediots" will tell That murderous Israeli Govt to stop their APARTHEID and killing of Palestinians! Why anyone will even think visiting that criminal state called Israel, has anything to do with salvation, beats my imagination! Well, if its Fayose and his clowns, l can understand sha! ![]() Lastpage! Okay, you think l am a Muslim, abi? "Truth" has no Religion. ![]() |
Anasko: This is rubbish!! If the NAF could see these terrorists, as shown in the Video, why then have they not been exterminated? Or do they think Nigerians are interested in "video if FLEEING Terrorists? Nuke the damn bastards and stop showing us Video of them running away Lastpage! |
sunnyb0b0:Most likely! ![]() Information reaching him from Nairaland indicates that some Nnyanmirim Goats are boasting that they would open the Shops the Deji of Akure put under lock and key! he just went there to do a little "hunting" for Nnyanmirim heads! Only to find out that they were just "Chest-Beating and doing Gra-Gra" on internet! ![]() The guy handsome die! Lastpage! |
emi14:You are "traffic snarl' Gala Seller. But l will oblige you this one time since its not really your fault that you did not go to school before hopping on that "attachment seat" of Ekene Dili Chukwu, on your way to Lagos-Eldorado. Its your parents who decided wisely though, that you are not worth educating! ![]() Stupidity is a censored word... hence the 'smartness' to spell it as 'stewpidity' ... ...but the important thing is that you recognize your personality..."STEWPID" Buffoon! ![]() Lastpage!

mavverick: EgunMogaji: All I read were insinuations, accusations, bad customer service, aggrieved clients, etc@Egungun! First, this is where l have a problem with we Nigerians! We allow rubbish to rub us in the face and then we #Wail all day andnight, thinking God or someone else will come and clear the shyte! We dont act when we are supposed to, even when it is in our own interest! Agreed that the court system is slow, corrupt and sometimes expensive but we also have other institutions like the EFCC which deals with financial crimes! We have the "Fraud Unit" at Milverton Road, Ikoyi, which deals with cases of 'grand' Fraud, and many more! If all that did not work, and someone "ate my money" and gave me a forged document, Walahi. l will lock him up in the military barracks until he pays every dime back and signs an undertaking to be of good behaviour! it is because of the "external mad man", that we also maintain a "mad man within the compound"! ![]() @Maverick Now, how can you make a very serious allegation of "grand criminality" against someone, in a public forum, bearing in mind that even that building that is concerned in the allegation, may produce "stability issues" in future (God forbid sha) and is therefore considered an "on-going matter" as far as investigation is concerned (that is statute of limitation does not apply here!)...... ....and then you are still talking about being "our brother's keeper"? If l assume your allegations are true, just for discussion purposes (big emphasis on "assumption), what manner of "Brother's keeper" endangers the life of his "Brother and family members", by building a "sub-standard and structurally deficient house" for them.... all because of greed and profiteering? Brabus has DENIED your accusations flat-out and your "evidence" so far, are still "arguable and circumstantial"! You cant eat your cake and have it and all these "Brotherly sentiments" should have been considered before you air this matter. If you think he is your Brother, then you have to just forget the matter and never mention it again ... since he vehemently denies it. You cant be 'drawing back' in prosecuting him and at the same time continue to accuse him! both are mutually exclusive and which you decide upon, is your choice but you cant maintain both sides ![]() On the other hand, if l again assume, (ASSUMPTION please!) for discussion purposes, that your allegation is false, what it means is that you are tarnishing the image of a young man, in the public domain. His Children's children will read all these "negative post" about him, especially in this "digital age" where nothing is lost or forgotten. Even in the "court of public opinion", since you have not shown that document where he forged the stamp of a certified Engineer (apart from verbally accusing him) thereby committing forgery, a criminal offence!... he still stands innocent to a large extent. Finally, you are here saying you dont want him to defraud others yet you are not helping matters because since you are bent on playing the "brotherly Angle", we might as well assume that your accusations are also "Brotherly Accusations" and not worth any serious attention! ![]() How are you helping others in making an "informed decision" whether to engage him or not, when yo shy away from doing the right thing? It's like when someone who counterfeits baby food or medicine is caught. Instead of prosecuting him to the full extent of the law, you the accuser is now the same person begging on his behalf that he should be pardoned! How then would others not follow suit and how then would other children not be killed as a result of such actions of the criminal? Anyone who covers-up a criminal or crime, is as much as guilty of the crime, as the criminal. I am yet to see how your "actions/non-actions" is helping anyone not to fall victim, as you claim! Mind you, l am not against "settlement of dispute" but that only comes up if the accused accepts guilt, repents and makes restitution. There is one of our proverbs that says "When an offender knows and accepts his guilt, he does not spend much time kneeling down, begging"! If the issue is,... and remains a "Brotherly affair" then it should be moved to the Romance/Family section where family issues are treated! ![]() Nuff Said. Lastpage! |
brabus:... but dont mis-interpret it here! The "proven otherwise" .... APPLIES ONLY in a Law Court! Your own words: Brabus: It is called defamation. All I need is just to print out all the words used to describe me on here. It doesn't matter what transpired because Nairaland is not a law court. ![]() What this means is that you have a duty to "respond to allegations" from your Clients, especially the ones you sourced on Nairaland. Its does not mean you are guilty, ..........it just means you are "corporately responsible, honest and diligent". In the court of "public opinion", SILENCE is interpreted as "GUILT", especially where a "simple but honest explanation" could have cleared the air of doubt! ![]() Lastpage! |
brabus:You are right Bro, Nairaland is not a law court.... but you will need to do more than "just print names you were called here", to prove Defamation/Slander/Libel. What a court of law will seek to establish, is "Whether those 'names' actually represent or is a "fair description" of your character or what transpired between you and the accused, ....from the point of view of the accused". But as a Builder, l am surprised that you think your reputation on Nairaland does not matter as well? You learned a lot "building knowledge" from here , albeit stylishly posing it as a "general question" (and we al do that anyway,...just like the seemingly "collabo" you wanted to do with AbdulWasteck!), you got a lot of clients from here as well..... yet you seem not to bother about your own "digital posterity"? Even massive companies with Billions still engage in "good image management" despite their professionalism. A "Good Name and Image".... is business, it needs no "hard-sell"! Lastpage! |
ExInferis:Please do a brother a favor, as well. That thing make me laugh like l wan choke on Garri! Lastpage! |
TonyeBarcanista:Hmmm.... nice to see more foolish people swelling the association of #WailingWailers! Nice, They #Wailed till PMB won the election The y#Wailed till Fashola was approved as Minister! They #Wailed till Amaechi finished them at the Ministerial Screening They #Wailed till Ambode won election They #Wailed until Oba Akinolu made the Lagoon Bus available! They #Wailed even after lai Mohammed finished them at the Senate They #Wailed till Wike's Governorship elecyion was nullified They#Wailed till almost half of Rivers State lawmakers were dismissed by the Election tribunal Hmmm... Dem go #Wail till eternity! Lastpage!
