Fr Mbaka is too politically inclined for man of God.
As a man of, he should pray more for the country n give hope of better days to come n not to obviously support a group n castigate the other...

Imagine him referring to ex president GEJ as BADLUCK... And he calls himself a "man of God"...
What is he teaching his followshuh
But he was right about that!

That is what most Nigerians think and call him, after almost six years of ruining the country with corruption.

They voted him out of Aso Rock, to get rid of his "badluck".

Rev. Mbaka was on-point, as per that.

MadCow1:
Not always true. The grounds for which a woman can get a divorce under the Nigerian Law don't always require infidelity or incest to achieve. Irreconcilable difference can also get her a divorce.

[i]Ask yourself this.. Why do women find it hard to report a rape to the Nigerian Police? Why do women find it hard to report an assault to the Police? Why would a woman sit quietly in an abusive marriage rather than run for her dear life? Why is it that Divorced Men are more acceptable in society than Divorced Women?

The Answer is simple, we live in a male dominated society that is grossly unfair to women. A woman walks into a Police station to report a rape case, it becomes her words against his. Same for assault where no physical bruises are present. etc.

So yes, she may have seen it and did not immediately rush off to the police. Same way many women get bruised and battered and raped and still don't report to the police.

Madcow..
But Rape is not a difficult thing to prove that it will now be "Your word against his"?

If you rape somebody, the sperm will definitely still be there and DNA analysis would also help solve the riddle.

Question still not answered: Why bring it out at the Divorce hearing?
If she did not report it to the authorities before because she thinks she would not get a fair hearing..... then it stands to logic that she should not mention it to the Judge in a court because she should not expect a fair-hearing.

...Except if she knows that it is an issue that can swing the divorce in her favour!

I think this women are unfairly treated in Nigeria is over-rated
Maybe in the past but not in the 21st century.

As a matter of fact, me thinks women are the one taking advantage of such "soft logic" to escape blue murder.
Its happened like that in some European countries where women continue to take advantage of such "undue sympathy" .....until they enslaved the men completely.

How come anyone who is bold enough to question women about their flip-flop identity (they are "equal to men" on Monday, claim oppressed on Tuesday, become the "Weaker se.x" on Wednesday, want 50/50 on Thursday, e.t.c) .....is labelled a "woman-hater"?
This is nothing but sheer emotional blackmail!

You appear like a "woman-wrapper".. abi na "self-hater" sef? grin undecided

Cheers.

Political or ethno-religuous Sentiments has beclouded ur objectivity and sense of morality.. If u can stoutly defend a man who seem to renege on a campaign promise he freely made to Nigerians in order for them to vote him to power goes along way for me to surmise that u and ur household is enmeshed in deceit and moral abyss. I guess u will even be deceiving and lying to ur own children(if u have any) with impunity . You can continue to support deceit as long as u benefit from the filthy crumb dropping from Apc table. Ur "promise and agreement" analogy is unintelligent. Which one is agreement again? Huh? Apc drafted a campaign manifesto which got them to power, if u don't think their promise and manifesto is a legal binding agreement with the Nigerian populace then u won't expect them to fulfill any of their campaign promises. Indeed ur education is a wasted one. Nigeria can never move forward with people like u who cant see beyond petty political sentiments. That is why some igbo people say Nigeria is a zoo.

Contrary to what you think, many of the so called criminal importers are simple business men who are simply into buying and selling. Maybe when their businesses crumble and they have to become armed robbers to survive, then we will see it.

You mentioned 'Form M'. Are you aware that the use of Form M has been banned for many goods i.e kitchen utensils, geisha, palm oil, woven fabrics etc. Yet, local production can't meet up with the demand for these goods. Even palm oil has to be imported to meet local demand. So, what do you do if you can't access the Form M?

The BDCs have 'excess dollars' because nobody wants to buy from them. Nobody wants the CBN poking their eyes into their business. The mallams on the street are making brisk business because they don't ask you for BVN before you buy dollars from them. Nobody knows what this BVN is going to be used for.

If there was no scarcity, there would be no need for forex controls and dollar restrictions. You can't honestly tell me that all those who want dollars want to launder money

Well, if a "simple Business man" is one who imports "prohibited banned items" into the country, then their business not only need to collapse, they also need to be prosecuted.
If they become Armed robbers, well its a risk because if they are caught, its the death penalty for them. Simple Business, right?

It seems you are not for any form of control at all? Anything goes, right? maybe you would advocate that we do away with Customs men sef? grin grin
There is a reason Govt bans the importation of frivolous goods (like tooth picks) one of which is to encourage local production. This happens all over the world.
With time, we will produce enough to meet our demands but to try to circumvent that rule make the person a criminal.
So that Importer that is "swallowing dollars through multiple Credit Cards" .. just to circumvent that rule, is a CRIMINAL

This list of Goods, you need to access Form M is openly available. Stop trying to use it to import fake and substandard goods or banned items.
Simple Enough.

I have bought Dollars from BDC, God knows how many times, over the last decade.
I still continue to buy and l am supplying my BVN in my next transaction. I know a guy that bought recently and supplied his BVN. It was plain easy!
It is only criminals that want to subvert the system or those with criminal intentions that are shouting they cant buy dollars or cant supply their BVN.

BVN is here to stay because it will weed out criminality, to some extent, from money launderers.
BVN is not just about forex alone, it is also about traceability, National security, money laundering, accountability, import restriction monitoring, et.c..

Even those that import Guns and Ammunitions for Terrorists will find it difficult to do so because they know that with their BVN attached, Govt can trace who paid for those weapons!

I still say only those with "criminal intentions" are crying over this BVN matter.

Nigerians are too used to "exploiting the system" and when they see changes that does not favor that criminal behaviour, they begin to roll on the floor, shouting "Egbami o"!

This is what I hope to use. I hope to find an artisan that can create a circular one. Won't be this high as it's a bungalow.
How is this one better, in terms of "aesthetics" than the overhead concrete one?

This is even uglier, wastes "ground" space and the "stands" liable to rust and therefore collapse earlier, that the overhead concrete type.
It is also costlier.

Pressure is dependent on "Height above ground", (or exit of tap) so for same height, Pressure is same, whether stand alone or not
Capacity is a function of size of tank and you will have same capacity, if you use same tank size, irrespective of whether it is stand alone or not.
I agree that capacity translates to "weight" but you will also agree that "achievable capacity/weight" is also a factor of the "Iron stands" used in a stand alone type otherwise, it will crumble. If you make good Iron stands, then you can equally make a strong concrete deck (with appropriate columns/beams) along with your building

Anyway, each man to his own.

First of all, providing your BVN is not a ticket for genuine businessmen to buy 'whatever amount of forex they want - as you claim. Part of the problem exists because nobody knows what the CBN is going to do with the BVN. Everything they have said has been negative i.e if you are blacklisted in one bank, you are blackisted in all banks etc

Also, the stability of the naira over the last five months has been artificial. You can't claim stability when there are stringent restrictions on the flow of dollars. It is very difficult for importers to obtain USD. The unmet demand for forex in Nigeria is nearly 2billion USD i.e the total sum demanded by all the people who want to buy forex is 2billion USD. That is why people are swallowing dollars and traveling with tens of debit cards. Is that an impression of stability?
Let the CBN ease the restrictions and then see what will happen to your 'stability'

Did you read the part where "the BDC said they have excess Dollasr they did NOT SELL and might have to return same back to the CBN"?

How then do you say there is scarcity of Dollars when the seller says there is excess? huh

Those who "swallow dollars" with multiple Credit Cards are criminals who are just trying to "BYPASS" the system.
why cant they deposit same money a single bank, apply for forex using their form M, stating what they want to import with it ..and let us see what happens?
The point is they want to evade the "import rule restrictions" and import expired chickens or banned items into the country, which they would now sell for "triple profit"... and be forming big man all over the place! undecided undecided
That is not business, it is criminality

You want every criminal to know the next step the CBN would take so that, in the "Nigerian manner" plan to THWART IT?
Governance does not work that way, my friend!

Yes, blacklisting is now across board and that is a good thing. Same operates in modern, Western democracies.
we dont want someone committing a criminal act in one bank, only to move to another bank.
In the U.S, U.K, e.t.c, it is called a CREDIT CHECK. You are blacklisted across board if you fumble.

Every country applies fiscal and monetary policies on it s currency!. Go and ask if they dont do it in America, U.K, on the Euro, Russia or even Chinese Tuan.
Why should Nigeria be an exception? So that some criminal business man can take advantage?
I am actually baffled at the way some of us reason nowadays! shocked shocked
Even Generator importers are complaining that Electricity is becoming stable and it is affecting their business,...hence PMB should stop his reforms!

Be honest, '"Accept it" that the problem some importers are having now is because they are used to their "criminal methods" of evading CBN's monetary/fiscal policies and this BVN will not allow them to get away so easily!
grin grin

End of story.

There is always light at the end of the tunnel and calm comes after the storm.
Nigeria will be better at the end of the day. Let us join hands together

Unemployed: But l am afraid of joining the Army due to boko haram
PMB: Go and start a Barbing Saloon, be an Iron Welder, be a tailor, e.t.c ...I have provided constant Electricity for you
Unemployed: Just pay me the #5,000 and l will be okay
PMB: Your life is wasted, you are a disgrace to other Youths who are making something good of their life!
Unemployed Youth: Is it my fault? What about the PDP that destroyed education and made sure my Certificate was almost worthless?
PMB: Well, if you grow balls and stop being a SaTANoid, l will make sure the enabling infrastructure necessary for you to make it in life, is put in place. Good Transport, good road, Security and conducive atmosphere to do business. For now, go and learn a trade. No #5,000 for you!
Unemployed: Thank you Sir, l will go back and tell my fellow Youths, "A new Sheriff is in town". Time to man-Up and be a man.
PMB: Now that is a Youth that is ready to go places and move ahead with me in turning Nigeria around. Unlike those clueless mofos with empty heads!

You emboldened my word, dumbest, maybe to point it out as a blunder. This might help you, though:
dumb (redirected from dumbest)
Also found in: Medical, Legal, Idioms, Encyclopedia, Wikipedia.
dumb (dŭm)
adj. dumb·er, dumb·est
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/dumbest

I pray and hope you don't die of illiteracy.
Hmmm.... stop throwing stones o! undecided undecided

Have you ever seen where "dumber" or "dumbest" was used in a sentence by anyone who understands the Structure/Syntax/Grammar of English language before? Definitely No!

If you notice, even the Dictionary, despite giving so many examples in sentence form, never for once used any of those two words!
Reason: It is Wrong!

The correct usage is "more" dumb .... "most" dumb! Nothing like Dumber and Dumbest in correct English grammar usage.

Another example is Beautiful: "more" beautiful,.... "most" beautiful (girl in Nigeria)
Have you ever heard of Beutifuller or Beautifullest girl in Nigeria? shocked shocked grin grin grin

Dont throw stones Oooo!
Its a blunder .......in the "Queens English Grammar":-* kiss
Any other form of Grammar are just "hybrids and colloquials"

But really what were you guys expecting? With the population of unemployed youths in Nigeria didn't you ever wonder how they would actually bring such a promise to fruition? Not to mention the fact that some employed persons with Nigerian blood will definitely pose as unemployed? By now you should know what country you're in and exactly how our "leaders" are. Anyway, I hope this event gives y'all a clear understanding why Jehovah's Witnesses don't vote. YOU CAN'T TRUST MEN. Especially those in caftan or agbada
Dont mind the lazy and indolent fools waiting for #5,000 when Mike Zuckerberg, the FaceBook Billionaire is their age-mate!
I know a BSc Cert holder who was unemployed for a while. He then decided to become an "Iron Welder".
Today, he is married with children, has his own house, nice "toks" SUV and a big Iron Welding outfit he has been managing.

Youths need to be hard-working and stop "Slagging their Pants" because there wont be any Manna from PMB! tongue

......................................................................................................................................

JW's are good but not "perfect" in their philosophy!

First, the bible encourages us to give unto Ceaser, what is Ceasers".
Jesus enjoined us as Christians, to pay our Tax to the Government.
Man is a Social Animal, living amongst each other.... and the JW's are no exception

If we all subscribe to the JW's philosophy and there was no Govt, who then will collect the taxes?
Who will run the country? Who will be in-charge of developing infrastructure?
Or do we just leave the country "leaderless" like a Banana Republic or Jungle?

On the other hand, even J.W's do "vote" within themselves!
They elect "Elders, Ministers, Council of Elders at Igheduma and at the World HQ in USA, e.t.c".... amongst themselves.
This is no different from "electing APC/PDP Politicians"! grin

Even some of their ELDERS (very minute number) have been known to act like PDP thieves......
...One l knew was Dis-fellowship for "Judas activity" within the Kingdom hall grin grin
In that, they are better than the Jonathan-led PDP-Govt that does not punish looters and thieves but instead says "Stealing is not corruption".
wink wink

I know this because l live, eat, study and drank with them for decades.

So, no man is an Island, the best thing to do is to live an "upright life".....irrespective of Religion, Sect or Tribe.

Nigerian Youths are silly!

Instead of them to campaign for JOB CREATION or creation of ENABLING ENVIRONMENT FOR SELF EMPLOYMENT (like constant Power), these indolent youths are crying over #5,000?
What can #5,000 do for you, in one month?

If PDP has been working assiduously to create jobs or enabling environment so that Youths can develop their skills , in the last 16years they have ruled this country... YOUTH will not be #Wailing over a mere #5K.

Infact, anyone who voted APC based on believing this #5K promise, ........needs to be whipped with Koboko!

Use your brains and stop thinking like a "Niger-Delta Militant..... at least those ones did not even bargain for mere #5,000. grin grin grin grin

Nigerians dont like to obey rules or do what is right!

Illegality has become a way of life for most people.

The Naira may not have appreciated but l can assure you that it is stable, to a large extent.
Its been hovering within the same range, in the last five months.
It has never gone beyond what it was, prior to the handing over of Govt to President Buhari. Anyone should prove me wrong on this.
I do forex regularly and l can attest to this.

All these "noise" is just to cause panic!

Those looted funds are now difficult to launder! God don catch them! grin grin grin grin

Don't rush to blame the truck drivers/FRSC/LASTMA etc.
The roads are just too bad
There is a law in Lagos State promulgated by the Governor, that says "No Container or Articulated trucks in day time"!

But the Police refused to ENFORCE (which is their constitutional responsibility as the Executive Arm of Govt) this law.

Its either the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State is a "closet "PDP" Saboteur or he is saying Ambode can go to hell!

Either way, Ambode as the Governor and Chief Security officer in Lagos, must "come out and respond strongly" or he should vacate that office.

ISIS is not America's direct problem it is Syria and Iraq's largely due to an administrative vacuum in those countries, Turkey is yet to witness ISIS attack let alone far away United states, sometimes I wonder why there are so many r@tarded individuals on this site.
You are not only retarded .....but basically ignorant about international politics!

Yes, ISIS is not America's problem afterall, it does not operate in America, kill Americans nor destroy American land.
What is being pointed-out is that ISIS is an American "CREATION".
Digest the difference for a minute please.

America created and funded Al Quaeda as a resistance movement to fight the Russians in Afghanistan
America created and funded the Shia/Sunni divide in Iraq, despite the fact that these two have always lived side-by-side under Saddam Hussein
America created "Northern Iraq" and made it a "Kurdish country" within an Iraqi sovereign country
America invaded and flooded Iraq with weapons which these terrorist use in other countries
America created and is instigating a "Violent Regime change" in Syria
America supplied weapons and training (in Turkey) to so-called "moderate Terrorists" in Syria
Most of these American weapons supplied to these "moderate terrorists" in Syria and Iraq, end-up in the hands of ISIS, Al Quaeda and Al Nustra front.
Even Israel, in its bid to cause more chaos, weaken other neighbouring countries and thereby cement its own dominance in the middle East, supplies American weapons to these organisations it acknowledges as terrorist!

All the organisations that America calls "moderates" are designated as Terrorist organisations by the United Nations

Like Russia said, anyone who seeks to change a Government by use of force, war and bombings (like all these so-called Moderates that America funds and arms) ...IS A TERRORIST.
You dont change a Govt by those methods in U.K or E.U or America, why fund and encourage it in Syria or Iraq?

It is foolish to say people hate America, because they criticize America!
No!, ....what people hate is What American Govt does, world over.

Gerrit?

I know it will take more than a few lines to lay-out what is going on but this is the best summary l can give you.

Cheers.
