Romance › Re: Why Do Good Guys Always Suffer In Relationships by laudate: 7:33pm On Apr 26, 2008
lawyer: Ahhhhhh! Good topic. i used to be a good guy in a relationship and i suffered terribly from it. Now am a born again convert of the bad guys club and relationships are so good and beautiful to me that i sometimes knock my head and ask myself "what took me so long to become this bad and enjoy the fruits of a one-sided relationship?"

The I don't care Syndrome is the key to a girl's heart especially when you break up with her with no remorse.

Being a good guy is simply been a mumu. End of story!
*yawn* Here we go, again!

Alright, confess. . . . . .who was the girl that broke up with you and sent you packing from her life, after she had caught you trying out some games that bad boys normally play? undecided
Romance › Re: Will You Attend the Wedding of your Ex-lover Who Dumped You? by laudate:
lawyer:
God punish the girl and hin wedding! She wan use me catch trips twice abi?

1. Dump me cry

2. Come follow me chop rice and see the person who i de knack 4 your back before i free you shocked

WAKA ! SHEGE! E no go better for HER MAMA! grin
Before you 'freed' her, or before she had mentally kicked you to the kerb while waiting for you to trip yourself up and reveal your secret runs?  undecided

Anyone who goes to the wedding of an -ex that dumped them, has too much excess time on their hands.

Why waste valuable time on some immature twerp who couldn't stay close by, long enough to get hitched to you? I mean, there was a reason for the ditching, right?  huh
Romance › Re: Why Do We Cheat? by laudate: 7:09pm On Apr 26, 2008
keneff:
please don't condem me about this fact.
I am married to a lady i dated for eigth good years but after our mariage my wife
becomes something else hoping i was having an affair with other girls which is not true
she fustrate me to the extent that i don't love her anymore, even to have sex with her
there is no more emotional feeling from me towards her.
After some time i started dating a lady close to my office who don't know that i'm married. she always call me to say i love u even if i don't call her before i go home she will be angry with me saying she miss me.
This have really drawn my attention from my wife to this lady, but unfortunately today i saw this so call girl going into the hotel with another guy spending more than 1 hour and she still call me today to say i love u.
I want to go back to my wife and try to love her back but my reason for cheating in the first place was that my wife push me into that.
So if the other girl had not gone into a hotel with another guy, you wouldn't have thought of going back to your wife to mend fences with her?

Nothing wey person no go hear for this place! shocked Now you are claiming that your wife pushed you into infidelity. That is the oldest lie in da book, that most folks use to justify their antics! grin

Abeg, look for another excuse. . . . . .please (*yawn*).

Romance › Re: Older Women: Younger Men by laudate: 6:49pm On Apr 26, 2008
ernal:
older women also seem to cut to the chase or act like they know what they want and it is just easier to deal with them. the bad thing is that as younger men they view us as what we are, Hot young men, but most don't accept the fact that we appreciate the qualities that make them so attractive, or that they should get with us because their men are old dogs and the new dogs are moving in!!!!
My guy, speak for yahself oh.

Some younger men just see these older women as a passport to the easy life. Once they have made their bucks off the backs of such women, (since a lot of these older women are often more comfortable than these younger dudes are), they take off to spend their quid on younger girls. . . .especially when its' time for them to settle down in marriage. They pick fresh-faced brides leaving the older woman in the lurch, to count her losses.

So this your long excuse about being 'new dogs' that appreciate the older woman for who she is, and what good qualities she's got. . . . .may not wash! undecided

Let me laugh very well!! Hehehehe. . . . .chei! grin

You are totally scared that the law of Karma will catch up with you, but you are not sorry, sad or remorseful that you hurt your girlfriend or messed wit her heart. I bet when you were hurting her, you thought you were being cool or you felt it was fun to play games with her feelings. Now you are here. . . . . . . . .shivering in one corner, praying she should forgive you, instead of summoning up courage like a man and doing what it takes to apologise & get her forgiveness.

Romance › Re: Have You Ever Cheated On Your Partner? by laudate: 8:35pm On Apr 17, 2008
denex: By the way, cheating is basically adultery or fornication. It is a grave evil. Whether morally or spiritually.

And all forms of adultery and fornication are backed up by lies, guile and deceit. That's why it's called cheating. It's not just the sex but the lies, the guile and deceit included.

Why do people not fear HELL anymore? Is it that global warming has gotten so bad that people don't even believe hell could be any worse?

This is what happens when our places of worship keep emphasizing the good life instead of life after death.
Preach it, brother! Pree-e-eacch!!   cool

You need to see the sordid extent some folks will go to, in order to pull the wool over the eyes of their partner, just because they want to get away with their cheating. Some people sow seeds of lies, deceit and pretence into their relationships, by cheating and spinning tall tales to their partner, and yet. . . . expect to harvest undivided attention, loyalty, faithfulness, undying love and strong committment from such partners. I beg, how is that possible, for crying out loud?? huh

Pitiful, I say! sad

Chei!! Better gist don waka pass for here! Na where I dey since. . .?? huh

macgozy:
I must report myself to the whole nairalanders: worst thing I did to my ex before we broke up:

1. beat her up
2. took her atm and withdrew all the notes in it and spent nights sleeping from one hotel to another so as to deplete such funds.
3. Left her broke and travelled for x-mas to my base in K - town

Please don't crucify me I only did those things to hurt her feelings and make her pay for every goddam dime I spent on her in our three and half years relationship.
Erm. . . .just for the record. . . .how much exactly did you spend on her?? Give us an idea. . . .was it in Euro, pounds sterling or dollars? sad Its so tacky talking about money in that manner.

Siena,

Thanks a million! I have actually changed those switches twice, when they started leaking oil initially. The leakage stopped, but I guess the wrong switches were used.

Will do a thorough check again and try to get the right ones.

Thanks once again. wink
Car Talk › Re: Rover! Rover! Rover! by laudate: 12:50pm On Apr 08, 2008
sultaan:
If you are sure they changed the switch, make sure your filter is new(not clogged) and if everything is good you may have a bad oil pump(drop the pan and change pump)
Thanks for the advice.

Siena:
'97 MY (model year) VW Passat has 2 oil pressure sensors, high and low level.

They are NOT interchangeable. Using the wrong ones WILL cause the acoustic oil warning to go off, once engine speed exceeds 2,150 rpm. Get these checked, the switches are colour coded brown and cream respectively.
Please where exactly are these oil pressure sensors located? Can you refer me to anywhere where I can get some pics.?

My sista you don talk am well!! What kind of silly in-your-face friendship is that? Didiomos, if you were so close to your own ex-boyfriend, would your guy still feel comfortable? For her to feel comfortable hanging around him, it means she still has strong feelings for him. So anything can happen. Period.

By the way, does your guy have any respect for you at all?  shocked Because if he did, he would be considerate and take your feelings into account, and keep his interaction with his ex-babe to the barest minimum. Why can't he speak to her right in your presence, or take you on outings instead of hanging around with her? If he makes it clear that any time they are to meet you have to come along, then she would take a hint and carry her two left legs elsewhere!  angry Why can't she hang out with her own guy? 5 years ko, 10 centuries, ni.

Siena, one quick question: What can be done when the engine oil alert on the dashboard refuses to go off and keeps giving a beeping sound intermittently?

This problem has persisted on a 1997 Passat sedan and there doesn't seem to be a solution. It first appeared when the oil switch got faulty. That was replaced, and a full service was done. Yet the oil alert still keeps beeping. Why?

Sisikill:
The girl says some psycho is threatening her and your advice is to tell her that if she loves him, she should stay and if she doesn't stay. . .it means she was only looking for somewhere to hook herself. You don't even make allowances for the fact that she does love him but she does not want or refuses to be threatened.
Wait all of you. . . .there is one thing that baffles me in all of this. . .how on earth did the ex-girlfriend get hold of Nenenwa's phone number to the extent that she started making calls to threaten Nenenwa's life? Were they friends or acquaintances before?

Or did the Nelson guy give Nenenwa's number to his ex-girlfriend?

What promises did Nelson make to the ex-babe before he dumped her for Nenenwa? If they had gone as far as meeting each other's parents' that could explain why she feels so bad, to the extent of calling up Nenenwa.

Finally, did he make it seem as if Nenenwa hooked or tricked him into a relationship, or somehow wangled her way into his life and he sucumbed at the end of the day?

Something doesn't quite add up o! undecided

The guy ended up confessing, what about if he didnt?
Please read the original poster's comments again. How can you refer to a guy's continuous two-timing activities, cheating, continuous deceit, sampling and lack of respect for her feelings. . . . . .as a 'mistake?' His deceit lasted for almost one year, i.e. 12 months, 365 days etc.!  shocked Go figure!

It was a habitual, persistent, sneaky, manoeuvre that was done in such an under-ground, furtive manner which yielded no clues (to Nenenwa), or gave her any indication that there was another girl in the picture for close to 1 year. How can you call that a' mistake??!' Beats me. A mistake is NOT a premeditated act, that is planned and executed with cold, deceitful intent or calculating moves, spanning such a long length of time, please!

Romance › Re: She Claims To Love Me, But Her Phone Suggests Otherwise by laudate: 8:13am On Apr 02, 2008
somze:
Smartsoft

1. Why were you snooping through her phone?

2. The fact that your partner does not like you snooping through her phone is a cause for concern.

It points to the fact that you may have been trying to go through her private stuff (I'm sensing insecurity here) and that's not good.

From her angle it also means she may have something to hide. If you are insecure, I don't understand why she would want to further aggravate the situation by making an issue out of it.

Through experience I can tell you it's better to let her be with whatever she wants to hide or keep private, if she does not like you, no amount of surveillance would change that . . . and this is where 3 comes in

3. If you see a dot in your partner's book, you better have a line in yours.

This may sound childish and stupid but when there is unfaithfulness, lack of trust or insecurity then I say bring out the big guns and I mean it.

If she has a skeleton in her closet, you should have Egyptian mummies in yours.

If you guys actually are mature enough to admit that the relationship is not worth it, then you separate, I mean why cheat when you can just break the hell up.

I sincerely hope, you are blowing hot air over nothing man.
Well said, bro'! Preach it!

On a last note though, Smartsoft why didn't you just ASK her outright who those folks were (i.e. my hero etc.)?  huh you can still do so now. Its' not too late. There might be an innnocent explanation for all these things. Don't go seeing shadows where there are none.

As for your number not being on her phone, tell her point blank that it looks funny. And then watch her response. If she stores it immediately in her phone, overlook the issue. If she gives you another watery excuse, then sit her down and have a long, deep discussion about your relationship, where it is headed and the options available to you at this stage.

See what she says. If you are not satisfied, then break things up as decently & as gently as you can. sad
