Zahra29: No one was forced into care. Many people e.g. with families chose the care route to avoid the cost of IHS. Many chose to prioritise a quicker /surer route to settlement over following their chosen career. Many chose care over PSW for the above reasons. All valid choices, but they were not forced. Bills dey force you to do any job that comes your way. Stop saying people are not forced. |

lIn the year ending September 2023, 101,000 Health and Care visas were issued to care workers and senior care workers, with an estimated 120,000 visas granted to associated dependants, the majority of whom we estimate don’t work, but still make use of public services.
How about their people who have never work a day I. Their life and uses public services and still gets universal credit.
I don’t really blame them. Na we we no fit build our own country I blame. |

Zahra29: Cleverly was asked about this and his response was that they were not forcing anyone to leave their families to come to the UK. He said they had "crunched up the numbers" and they felt there was enough global demand from people wanting to work in care who don't have any dependants single people its your turn to shine |

UniqueDext: My brother, i dont have the keys to the house after she changed it. Now almost everytime i come back i have to stay outside for 1 to 4 hours until someone from the house is leaving or going inside then i follow up to enter.
Its crazy, the room is also cold with no furniture anymore as she took everything out.
You cant believe what this woman did to me on Sunday with her kids.. They came on Sunday to make mockery of me, with her two little kids of 4 to 6 years i guess.. All where insulting me and telling me how stupid I am and how I sleep in such room, man this kids where throwing insult on me with there mother to the extent that the kids later told the mother that am now looking like a depressed person that she should pity me..
It's really crazy what kind of person the woman is.. I recorded everything without her knowing my phone was on recording... I really don't want to see this woman get away with all this act she did but I have to find somewhere else to keep my head and have a good sleep.. I have paid for a place now but I still want to collect my deposits and if possible sue her for not registering the deposit on a scheme. Please if anyone can guide me on how to go about it, I will really appreciate it.. Guy just let it go. This is a lesson to you and others. It crazy out here |

ehizario2012: One really has to commend the doggedness of the ancestors here, those 2009 set etc who did care jobs, security jobs, sausage in the cold etc even without promise of sponsorship. That's real hustling with faith. 👍
There is dignity in labor and I love this country because you are respected in any profession, real respect I mean and your pay is a living wage, a wage that can make you drive good cars and even plan for the future. Just see how much mechanics charge?! DIY is so important in UK except u want to spend so much on little things.
I currently work at Amazon, my wife is on sponsorship and works in care. But I am also planning to go into support/NHS, apart from another sponsorship route, I am genuinely beginning to see pathway to the top in health and social care. These oyinbos don't read much and they are quite comfortable staying on a spot, with our level of zeal and energy we can get qualifications faster and move up the ladder. A guy I know finished NVQ 3 in just about 2 months while his colleagues use 6 months on average...
In all of this, I'm still writing my Universally acclaimed accounting certification exams... For me, this is a path I am exploring and so help me God. Some of them are being paid 7£ / hr. Dark times |

Two years into the job you go don dey use walking stick. Like i said before people are doing care job to meet up with fees and bills, mesef dey run am but you should upskill yourself and get a befitting job that aligns with your career. That companies sign up to get license does not mean they will sponsor. Make Una no give people bp on top this sponsorship matter o
Hope you also realise that by the time they increase the salary requirement for skilled workers that again will reduce the ability of more companies to sponsor. Smell the coffee they say they want to reduce net migration and we are here encouraging people to gamble, Dey play and keep playing. As of 11th November, 2023, the figure for London was about 26,000. Means 2,000+ companies signed up to sponsor folks (i will check the exact figures to confirm)

dupyshoo: Regarding the bolded, while I blame the government, some students are not even trying at all. Ask them to apply for PSW and consider roles within their field, a lot of them will curse you. When I did my MSc., most of my classmates did psw and majority of them got very good jobs before they finished the psw. Sponsoring of visa was not even that popular then. I applied for around 500 jobs, got to 10 assessment centres before I got a job offer. Some of my classmates even applied for more jobs. When I was not happy with my job, I started applying again. I did so many applications, had so many heart breaks but eventually got 3 companies that wanted to sponsor me at the same time.
I asked one student who was complaining how many jobs he had applied to in his field, he could not mention 10.
People just want to get into skilled worker visa immediately. I was practically begging someone to send me his CV. He was just interested in getting COS from a care home. This is someone that studied cybersecurity.
Also, I have spoken to a lot of students as we have huge no of students in my town. Some of them don't even have a clue what they are studying. They hire people to do their dissertation and course works. Are those people students?
However, some students are still trying their best though and I am certain their hard work will pay soon. People shouldn't settle for less is all i can say. It would be hard but still people are getting jobs with 40/50/60K with sponsorship. One day i will get there myself. |

Just imagine that line from an immigrant! Some of you will be worse than Suella if you manage to get to the decision-making table in the UK or whatever country you migrated to. I have said here before that some people are not just happy to see their fellow Nigerians migrating like them because they want to keep on oppressing those they left at home. but God passed them. Immigration issue na season film: when one series ends, another go start so no cause for alarm. As a black man we are not liberated until we build Nigeria and Africa. If you like be in USA or UK. |

People who voted for brexit because they felt that 200k plus net migration was too high, how do you think they will just accept 700k plus, and from countries that are even more "forrin" than the EU lol It's not personal, that's just how they are. Brits will always be Brits. The blood flows through their vein. Forget say dem de laugh when they see and talk to you. |

We arent discussing approval rates. Btw, Canada also lets in lots of people via the PR route and it has been on since forever and theyre still looking for ways to make things right for legal immigrants.
Also, for the approval rate UK, do they not collect money? Did they not increase IHS rates too? School fees also went up twice for my school and I heard they have removed discount they usually give and instalmental payments
