How many bad debts would you leave, you see as a landlord you need to be firm with your lawyer and tenant, don't take nonesense.

As regards, your mum, you need to go meet that tenant and let him know your mom has a son.

@ topic FIRE him, get another competent lawyer, he just collecting legal fees FREE without doing his job.

If you have a hard time with stop-losses, it's not your strategy you have to work on.

it's your ego! Stopping out of a trade is one of the few things you can quantify precisely even before the trade is executed.

it's the easiest most mechanical part of trading.

What is crypto currency?

A currency that exists digitally or online ONLY
That is, it can not be touched or held physically like our usual currency(Fiat/cash).
example of a cryptocurrecy is Bitcoin(BTC), Ethereum(ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE) etc.

The letters in bracket are their acronyms.
Most digital currencies have VALUE(Price).
Usually this Based on current supply and demand and good news about the currency.
E.g : Dogecoin which grows in value when Elon musk posts a meme about it or Bitcoin which grows whenever an investor gets In.

These currencies are then stored on a ledger called BLOCKCHAINBlockchain. However When you buy a crypto currency from an exchange (paxful, binance, kraken), it is stored in a wallet which is on the BLOCKCHAIN.
The best place for this lecture is on WhatsApp so as to avoid ban

Our court is so useless and insensible. How can a man claim he has all that money and airline ticket without investigating the crook and to say judgement was given based on that means our lawyers are charge and bail. A man with all that money that refuses to pay his rent or hire one will be punished under a very sound legal system.

When stocks decline it sucks but you should be HAPPY.

Why? Lower prices = better valuations.

You can buy great businesses cheaper.

To find a business worth buying focus on:

Are revenues growing?
Profit margins increasing?
Their moat getting wider?
Are they innovating?

Tenant and Landlord palava.

It seems 8 out of 10 tenants will always cause problems.

Just yesterday mumsie was telling me one of her tenants refused to pay security levy for 2 years he has lived in the house he paid only 2 months out of 24 months and the CDA keeps harassing mum.

She asked him for this past februarys owm the guy come dey shout on mama head even saying mama is saying he's owing for 2 years, does she expect him to pay security levy during the covid lockdown shocked

His 6months rent that he even paid in arrears has expired since January 31st he did as if he doesnt know now common 700 naira per month security fee he no pay come dey do strong head.

I just told Iya to calm down , there are ways of dealing with people who don't have sense like him. Sebi he doesn't want to have sense.

When landlords are wicked, harsh and terrible I honestly don't blame them, the tenants taught them.

@ Topic I honestly can't count the amount bad debt on my mums property, you might just have to let it go as bad debt.

If the stock market hasn’t been exciting enough for you lately, rest assured! This year is expected to be chock full of new public offerings, many of them game-changers.

“Black holes” created by technologically enabled innovations could be set to swallow up companies not evolving fast enough, or not keeping up with the record-breaking pace of change and exponential growth of competitors, former economist and famed investor Cathie Wood recently cautioned.

The list suggests the market is about to see a battle between the ‘change’ or the ‘change-nots’.

Though the winners will be obvious with hindsight, in the here and now, the choice between new and old investment opportunities is getting more difficult as we reevaluate the sustainability of dividends and business models with the old guard. All of this, while new business models are still less proven, and average retail investors still tend to get a bad deal on IPO day. Remember, investing is a marathon, not a sprint.

Reported by Morning Star

IPO to watch out for n 2021
Agtech & Food tech (Instacart, Zomato and Agriforce)
Cloud tech ( Gitlab % Cloudbee)
Retail wealth and Wellness Tech (Oscar, Tonal & Tempus Lab)
Fintech (Robinhoood, coibase & Sofi

The financial market is a huge world and millions of people have benefitted from it over a period of time. There are 2 types of people in the stock market, Traders and Investors. These 2 people have very different objectives when it comes to making money in the financial markets.

Investors have the objective of building wealth gradually over an extended period of time. They achieve this through the buying and holding of a portfolio or any other type of investments. The objective is to hold these investments for a long period of time and then sell them at a very high price later on. Investors are playing on the Power of compounding which enhances return over a long period of time.

Traders have a very short term view and are looking to benefit from short term volatility in the market. Trading involves more frequent transactions involving buying and selling of currency, or any other financial instruments.

Who are you?
A Trader hit the "LIKE" button
or
An Investor hit the "SHARE" button?

An option is a contract that allows (but doesn't require) an investor to buy or sell an underlying instrument like a stock, ETF or even index at a predetermined price over a certain period of time.

Buying and selling options are done on the options market, which trades contracts based on securities. Buying an option that allows you to buy shares at a later time is called a "call option," whereas buying an option that allows you to sell shares at a later time is called a "put option."

DISCLAIMER: Futures, stocks and options trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. This is educational material ONLY and not advice.

You're reading this because you're ambitious and want a good future. Read this 1 min short caption and I'll show you how..
⠀
Q : Do you know why we go to school?⠀
A : We go to school to study.⠀
⠀
Q : Why do we have to study?⠀
A : To get a job.⠀
⠀
Q : Why do we have to get a job?⠀
A : To earn money, right?⠀
⠀
So if the final goal is to make money then why there is no subject on money at school? Like seriously. Why don't we learn about the opportunities of the new digital age? Or learn about investing, money management, self-development etc etc?⠀
⠀
Did you know that there are +330 million people in USA and "coincidentally" 330 billionaires.⠀
⠀
It's about 1 billionaire per 1 million people.⠀
⠀
So why do we think it's so hard to become wealthy?⠀
Because our schools do not teach us about finances.⠀

#1 always always is protecting your capital! This is why we have stop losses. I do not care about losses because I'm prepared for it with each trade. I have a plan and I roll and flow with the trade.

Be sure YOU have one as well. Don't make trading a gamble. Hopium is not a strategy cheesy

I am better off with cash flow from SFS REIT and UPDC REIT than from rental income.

ositadima1:
Dear ositadima1,

Kindly be informed that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has directed all banks to close accounts of persons and/or entities transacting in or operating crypto currency exchanges with immediate effect. This follows an earlier circular issued by the CBN in January 12, 2017 which cautioned the public and financial/non-financial institutions on risks associated with transacting in crypto currencies.

In line with this directive, any FCMB account identified as transacting in or operating crypto currency exchanges will be closed accordingly.

For more information, please send an email to customerservice@fcmb.com.

Thank you for choosing FCMB.
