Lol, many times how large or small our pockets are does the thinking for us. I didn't buy any new onesie or bodysuits (you'll be hearing 4 in 1 for 5k for baby that's not going anywhere), I got very beautiful grade ones with cardigans (some are new in the bake sef ), I loved foreign bath too oo but when I went to the market and saw nice baby bath (not old school design o) I opted for it for 4800.. I already priced the standing hanger I wanted to buy for 13500 but a day before going to buy, my mind just pushed me to Facebook to Chek for declutter and a lady posted that she wanted to sell for 9k as she's not birthing anymore, I jumped on it and priced, she sold for 7k (afterall if I can buy okirika clothes, what is hanger that I can't buy ), hubby was angry at first but later calmed and went for pick up, very clean.. I invested on Diapers both sizes 2 and 3 (not too much of 2 cos people who would gift Diapers would gift newborn), the few new clothes I bought are older sizes for when baby is 4 months upward.. I no send stroller and ain't buying car seat as we don't have a car (yet bro Inlaw wants to give us both), I didn't buy bed net but got a very thick blanket baby can lay on while I cover with a umbrella net e.t.c.

Preferences also matters, you might not want your baby to wear okirika onesies and sleepsuits but I don't mind (afterall big women park their vehicles in nyanyan market and sit down under umbrella buying in pregnancy so who am i ). Some also wants their babies to have everything they see and like but the truth is baby might not even use most of these things.

I remember a day in the hospital when a lady was talking about how much she spent buying the things on the hospital list, I almost couldn't breathe but when I was buying the few ones I've bought I was wondering if its not same. I got home and was afraid that the mucus extractor I bought for 350 and clamp for 150 each were not it and I quickly searched on jumia just to see same.

If you have the money you can go for all you want. I've seen sellers on FB who sell new thing and even post prices and they are very very cheap yet they are in Lagos. But please have mercy on your purse.

lmaooo, some one said baby wardrobe,�,I buy only hospital list,I bought baby bath when it was just 8k,I did not buy hanger,I spread where I spread my clothes, infact,I hardly use these baby bath set sef,I use put baby on laps,stay in bathroom,shikena, no let anything stress u.

I squeezed and resqueezed my list oo to prevent buying what baby won't use.. I for one didn't even buy a baby bed net (the one they put on bed) reason is as baby starts growing they don't want you to put them in it again so I went for umbrella net and got a very thick blanket (if LO sleeps, I'll just cover with the net).
Ensure you get essentials first. My LO already has more than a box filled with clothes (okirika and new), I got some size 2 & 3 Diapers, Wipes, towel and all essentials like bath, hanger etcand my hospital list is reducing yet I haven't spent 40k. Location also matters in price determination maybe that's why your expenses has gone up.

Omo! Baby things are expensive o. I just dey break main list into affordable mini lists.. spent 70k expecting I’ll pack plenty stuff home but my dear, I can’t find what I bought. To think I still hv a lot on my list to clear. Why is baby bath 25k pls? cot is about 70k. Na wa o. I wish I had elder ones who are done nursing their babies

I'm almost done with shopping o, as for the swollen leg I have not experienced it even in my previous pregnancies, I will advice you complain at your next appointment.

We are doin well oh. This trimester is supposed to be honeymoon phase right?

Because all I've seen is heartburn, really bad back and pelvic pain, peeing all the time, insomnia, congestion and waddling like penguin.
I can eat and get hungry in 30 minutes but I can't drink water to help my life.

I'm yet to start ANC. Even if I start, I'm 100% sure I won't take any antimalarial drug. Will be going for my last TT injection for life on 10th.

Abeg, how do you people even enjoy other room activities? It's a cat and mouse game between me and Oga now

I want to first of all thank Almighty Father and His son Jesus Christ for granting us safe delivery. We did not lose any mother, and for our lovely teamie, FlowerGirl040, just know that your bun is already in the oven and this time, the Good Lord will perfect all that concerns you.

I want to use this opportunity to thank all February mamas for their support from day one I was made cappo. I really love and appreciate you all.

For answering to roll calls and submitting your BAs and BSs even when it wasn't convenient for you. A good number of February mamas submitted their BSs thereby keeping the forum lively and helping other mamas learn one or two things.

Ahhhh.. this is a very strange utterance from an FMC doctor. What do you mean by 1% of protein? Cos urine test records protein in + (plus).
This BP and one plus of protein does not require pregnancy termination. It’s very absurd. She would be placed on anti hypertensive drugs and close BP monitoring with ultrasound that involves biophysical profiling.
I’m 6 months gone, had BP recording of 140/80 last week and I’ve been placed on anti hypertensive/anti pre eclampsia medication and 2 weekly antenatal monitoring. My BP as at yesterday was 120/80. So, u should see another doctor

Good morning all. I have been a silent reader on this forum for a while but i was waiting to get to my 2nd trimester to become a vocal member but i miscarried.
Today the pregnancy app i forgot to deactivate sent me the usually weekly milestone celebratory reminder and i have fallen apart since then because this time last week we had our first scan, where my baby was active and doing fine. In fact it took the sonographer sometime to get a clear picture cause the baby was just jumping up and down.
Tuesday evening unexpectedly i started having cramps, before i knew it my water broke, followed by the blood and tissue. By the time we got to the doctor, got a pelvic scan done, i knew my baby had gone. I had to undergo and evacuation.
I had to share this here because i have been trying to find closure going over everything that happened during the days between the scan and the miscarriage. What i ate, did or didn't do, what i could have done to prevent it. This was supposed to be my first, i am at my wit ends as i dont know how to deal with this loss.
