I met with my consultant( he wrote on my card to always see him after every antenatal class)

and he asked me to come to hospital with my bag if labor doesn't come from yesterday till on Monday evening so that I will be induced.

You'll remember I've shared my previous experiences here, so I guess he doesn't want to take chances.

Sista, sista, how many times did I call u, I beg embrace your load with passion.hunger is so good. U won't like yourself if u can't eat or drink, or still vomiting at this stage with nausea o.dont wish for loss of appetite. it is more painful when u see correct food and the thing is just smelling like rotten egg. With eating , u feel weak, what if u are not eating? I beg enjoy yourself.so far the weakness doesn't have underlying medical issue like low pcv, blood pressure n co.

no be lie, this my pregnacy and food nah 5 and 6. Walai I embrace it with all of my heart, cos it's better than other pregnancy shenanigans lol.

I'm 21weeks gone with EDD 13th August...sex...I don't know yet but God knows I asked for a boy cos I already have the cutest baby girl ever.
My pregnancy has been smooth only that my 1st and 2nd check up weren't funny. The doctor's scared me by saying they can't feel anything prompting me to go do two scans at each appointments. Scans showed my baby bouncing in the Lord with very strong heartbeats so I'm at rest.

I always buy fresh soft ugwu leaf that has young leaves growing on its stalk,(the seller told me its good to buy such type if its for drinking)wash it very well with salt and start squeezing the leaves like how u do with bitter leaf,I add just small water ,after squeezing I sieve out the juice and add malt or milk and drink. Some pple blend the leaves or pound it to get the juice out, me I just squeeze my leaf ooo

Fruits, it is well ni o. No appetite for anything again self, na by force I dey try chop bt the fruit has been on zero level since last 2weeks o make I no just lie.
PCV na another thing o, I chop beetroot wella to boost blood but surprise to see my PCV go down to 28% from 30.07(those time I was feeling weak, na PCV cause am o) looking for something else to help in the boosting o

What about the TT injection and anti malaria drugs? Shey we are following up? Checking our pcv and blood pressure? And attending our antenatal .

Please do exercise as much as you can, take a walk in the evening , it will make you feel better, and about the heat, shower as much as you can, naked yourself in your house for fresh air


We are almost almost through, we are almost there, be strong comrades. We shall all smile at the end of this journey.
The lord will see us through ijn, there shall be no still birth ijn. We shall all be strong this month, no complications for us and for our LO's ijn. And I cover us all with the blood of Jesus.

This pregnancy was the toughest for me,I hardly sleep well,seeing that I needed the baby to properly heal from the death of my mum and mum in-law I hanged on. I started ANC early I never missed my appointment,getting closer date was picked but I wasn't comfortable with it reason I can't explain. Some weeks ago we changed the date to 28/3,I went to the hospital got prepared and went into the theater after some minutes baby was delivered, his cry was loud enough.



Waking up Dr told me that upon opening me up he discovered the cord was almost strangling the baby of which no one knows how long it has been there. Within 3hrs after the birth he started changing color if the oxygen is removed because he was placed on oxygen as the near strangling might have caused shortage of oxygen in his system. He was monitored for 24hrs with no improvement rather he was having fast breathing with noise and his heart was as if it will jump out of his skin,we quickly took him to LifeLine Children Hospital Surulere but unfortunately we lost him on the way to the hospital. They said he had congenital heart disorder which if the surgery is successful the chances of living a normal life will be near impossible. I can't question God all I ask is for strength to move on with the leaking boobs and baby things staring at me and no baby to use them. I have questions but no one can answer me.


I pray we will not cast our young,no pregnant woman here will carry pregnancy and not nurse the child.

Congratulations I have seen the glory of God, congratulations he has done it for me.

Jan 2020 I got married legally waiting for trad to be done and Covid came like play like joke, Lockdowns everywhere and we had to leave party till everything was down. I and DH started living together after our civil wedding, March we started trying for baby and it wasn’t forth coming.

DH said I am too anxious abi how he talk the English self, We started running tests and Feb 2021 I did heteroscopy that shows cervical adhesion. @Trippleblessing whenever I remember this journey then my heart prays for you because you were there as a shoulder to lean on that day, your joy is coming and it shall be visible to everyone. Amen

During the cervical adhesions procedure I was told I have block tubes then hydrotubation was done, 2 months after I got the big fat positive. First trimester was very smooth, no morning sickness whatsoever , I was jumping around until contractions came immediately we entered 2nd trimester , was admitted and DR confirmed it was threatening Miscarriage, God took control and I was ask to take plenty bed rest.

My Gynea requested for a scan at 36 weeks, baby already weighing 3.1kg and he suggested a CS due to pelvic and height.
10/3 I walked into the hospital with my Ghana must go and 11/3 my Prince Charming was brought out weighing 3.4kg.

Wishing all belle full mama’s safe delivery and many babies dust to all women in the waiting room.

I have been a little worried mamas. I had malaria at 11 weeks and the doctor prescribed armatem. After using for 3 days , I started feeling contractions, pull and bites. Visited UCH and was later prescribed Amodiaquine which I also used for 3 days and was fine. Was just surfing the Internet one day and read that Armatem (Artemether&Lumefantrine) combination shouldn't be taken in first trimester. I guess it explained the contractions and all however, I am perfectly fine now. But I worry for my baby just hope it hasn't affected his or her formation and growth somehow. I asked the doctor why prescribe it if it was contraindicated but he said at 11 weeks, the fetus had formed and wont have any effect. I'm booked for an anormaly scan next week and I'm kind of scared sha.

so sorry about the experience mama. Just to add it, please whenever we are given a drug to use please let's do well to Google it out and see if it's really safe for use during pregnancy especially for our trimester.

Had same experience in my first trimester, infact wasnt upto 10 weeks preggy that time. the yeye nurse prescribed some drugs for me to make my surgery spot heal fast, I asked her severally if it was safe for me and she said yes, that night after taking it I had so much cramps I thought I will see blood. Was rolling on the bed praying.

The next morning I sent the prescription to the doctor and she told me to stop them immediately as they are not safe for me. All the nurse could do was apologize and apologize and apologize. What if something bad has happened nah apology I go chop? Since then I don't fail to ask Google oooo and post it here to hear from other mamas.
