In many years to come, if care is not taken, Lagos will be regarded as a city lost under water, but our grandchildren or great grandchildren might not know about it, because Nigeria history is hardly taught in class.

You see life?
My take on Power season 6 episode 10.
See you all January 5th to a new season. *cheers* I'm sobing right here.

Ghost ruined everyone's lives in a way or the other and want to have his own life fixed like nothing happened. And those affected by his actions cannot see that happen after he ruined theirs lol especially Tacha and Paz. But what was Tariq going to do? Shoot his dad?
In life you cannot eat your cake and have it. You can't ruin people's lives and think you'll have yours and no one can stop you. What a way to make up for the previous abysmal episode.

That's why he was a wanted man at the end by so many people.
I don't see Ghost dying tho, it was a gunshot to his chest and the cop was around so I'm sure she'll get an ambulance for him. She's now dirty. You've to give it to Ghost tho, they couldn't get him legally, they had to plant evidence to get him arrested. I didn't see much of Tommy in this episode, I miss Tommy.

Well, I understand the point you're coming from, but in life you have to watch your steps, ghost is an ambitious man, he did drugs to set a club where he makes it look like he's a legit businessman, he wanted his children to have the life he never had. But he bleeped by letting Angela into his life thereby neglecting his family. And the aspect that he ruined other people's lives, I won't really buy that because most people rolling with him knew who he is and was even the AUSA valdes knew about all his crime she could have turned him and get a lighter sentence for herself, did ghost forced her to ask for more time and she went on to meet with Ghost got killed? So nobody forces anyone to do anything in life, whatever we do has always been inside of us, we just need circumstances or people to blame for our actions, because in life we always want a scapegoat to put all of our blames on, that's why we blame devil for our actions mostly when we don't have people around to blame again, so if we turned out good in life too, it's also due to what we have inside ourselves, so we can now give the credits to circumstances we found ourselves or people in our lives.

He has already being saying he's going leggit, he gave the idea to Tommy and Mason, and told Tasha about it, even when Dre came back he told he's leggit.

Tasha left and set up a day care, before Tariq got into trouble and they all needed money to get him out, Tasha was already running drug through the day care, was it Ghost that push her to run drugs through it?

There was a lot of secret in Ghost's life and when you walk with him and get to know the secrets, it's either you rat him out and wait for the consequences or join his league, there's a choice. They (Ghost and Tahsa) kept a lot of secret from their children especially Tariq hoping he was still a kid.

Ghost is smart (you can't get him in a legal way) but a lot of people believe he was the cause of the pains and problems in their lives (he did get Paz's Sister killed, he did kill Tasha's lover, he did get Tommy's Father killed and a lot) and they want to get a revenge, and now he has nobody with him, so I don't think he can survive of the attack.

I think we all have different tastes. In as much as i like Brymo, I'd go for Asa anyday. You shouldn't mention her recent songs cause she hasn't released any of recent. Even Brymo hasn't. Perhaps, if you were an artist, I'd bet you'll prefer to sing your more popular songs on a concert, in this case, her older songs are more popular. It's not about not being good, it's just common logic.

Nevertheless, I love both Brymo and Asa, they are the most underrated song makers in Nigeria.. But Asa for me any day.

Brymo released an EP like a month ago. Those tracks are confirm.
I practically like all the tracks, I'm finding it hard to pick a favourite. Just five tracks: Johnbull, The In between, Marry had an orgasm, Take me back to November

He is very athletic and good in all sports. Plays basketball, soccer, swimming and athletic. He won two consecutive cross country and broke the state record in 300m race. High scorer in his basketball team; plays for two clubs.

I'm even thinking this behaviour
started since he became too active in so many sports. Thinking I should stop him

Madam, the world is changing please help this boy, you said he is very athletic, why not help him on that path? Just make sure he can read and write, and you instil some words of God into his life.
A doctor told you he is 18 months ahead of his level, that's an indication that the boy is special, and he has to be treated specially. He might be deliberately acting that way because he's doing what he doesn't love, to me it looks like you're forcing school on him, because everything you've said revolved round school.
Reduce the time he spends on school gibberish, and let him spend more time on those things he loves, like that athleticism, and you turn on him like, if he doesn't brush his teeth or keep his room clean, no basketball game or no swimming for him, and you will see how he will change. He's trying to be forgetful when it comes to school because he has no passion for it.
Sports is bringing a lot of money now, and that doesn't stop him from schooling, you're evening in a better environment that allows one to combine education and sport.
Phil foden of Manchester City was still a college boy when he broke through Manchester City senior team, and he was being paid £90k per week, I'm sure a fresh medical or engineering graduate can't earn up to that.
Love this boy, and pray for him, and support him at this early stage, because if you force your way on him, and kill his passion, he might hate you forever.
I pray to God to give me smart kids and also help you train this boy.

OMG shocked at that young age, the boy is also setting and breaking records.

God please I want smart kids, and shine your light on them, and help me see what's best for them.

Chelsea is a big club. It needs an experienced manager. Not one who has just a year at the helm of a championship club

It doesn't matter, if he is good, he is good.
Guardiola spent just a year Coaching Barça B, and started couching the senior team the following year. The rest is history now.

And the developers of those apps are sleeping ba?

Banning people is not the solution, but taking away the incentives that make people go for those third party apps. People love to add themes, tweak their apps to their taste and so on. If Whatsapp can add even half of those features on their official app, people won't use the third party apps again.

So banning is just a temporary fix. The developers will always update their app again to bypass those banning. IT is such a crazy world. If they have your time, their is nothing you can do to stop it.

Exactly, I remember when Android was still in kitkat version, people were rooting their phones, just to add themes, network speed and fonts majorly, but when Android added these features traditionally, rooting of android phone has reduced. Then, I couldn't use an android phone without rooting, it was just too boring, same way I can't go back to using the original WhatsApp. lipsrsealed

NYSC / Re: Shuaibu Ibrahim: I Will Rather Die Than Lose One Corps Member — New NYSC DG by Lefty500: 12:47pm On May 23, 2019
Na dem. grin

Amagite3:
Brig.-Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim, the new Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, says he is ready to sacrifice his life to ensure that no corps member dies during the service year.

Ibrahim said this on Wednesday during a visit to the staff and corps members at the NYSC Zonal Office in Akure.

The DG, who said he was happy to be in the state, told corps members to keep themselves abreast of what was happening in their environment and be security conscious.

Ibrahim urged the corps members to take the opportunity of the entrepreneurial programmes put in place by the scheme rather than embarking on frivolous travels.

I will prefer to die than losing a corps member. Keep yourself abreast of what is happening in your country, and make a difference as a corps member.

“I want to rejig our skills acquisition programme. If you take it seriously, we have partners that are ready to lend you money. I am very passionate about the scheme and my corps members.

“I came for a youth programme, so I decided to visit you my ‘children’. What will you be remembered for when you leave this place? Try as much as possible to keep your records clean
,” he said.

Ibrahim, on the sidelines of the event, described his visit as unofficial, saying, he would look for a way by which the scheme would not depend solely on government funds.

Earlier, Mrs Grace Akpabio, the state Coordinator of NYSC, described the visit of the DG as homecoming.

Akpabio also said the Ondo State Government had been helping to improve the scheme in the state, “especially with the building of perimeter fence at the Ikare Akoko Permanent Orientation Camp.”

She used the visit to reel out some of the achievements to the DG, especially the reactivation of farm in Ita Ogbolu to teach interested corps members how to farm.

The 18th DG of the scheme assumed duty on May 17.

Politics / Re: Buhari: University Degrees Won’t Necessarily Usher You Into An El Dorado by Lefty500: 5:48pm On May 11, 2019
qanda:
True. The minister of education his simply saying that graduates must ensure they acquire relevant skills, innovate and be creative. Many graduates do not have basic computing and digital skills upon graduation. So go ahead to undergo their NYSC and play a way the time/opportunity...who do you blame for this?

One thing is that, there should be a level ground for everyone, the skills you're talking about are also considered as education, and I think our syllabus should be reviewed, how do you expect a student that receives lectures from 8am to 5pm to go about looking for one computer skill, when the person will be stressed out already, and still have to repeat the process the following day, but if the computer skill is part of the syllabus (not some useless textbook they will print for us to cram), I mean a real computer instructor, it will help a lot.
I have a friend that did engineering in one the federal University, for 5 years he used, the school never taught them any relevant engineering software in the industry, they guy had to struggle on his own to acquire those skill, and paid exorbitant fee for it. So what's the point of the education if I still have to pay to be re-educated again, and I can't contribute to the society. It's not everyone that wants to drive Benz or Bentley, but we know that the education will get from our so called higher institutions is obsolete, but the president of the nation is not meant to utter such statement, it just like telling people hoping there's still something for them at the end of the day that they are done for.
Government should indetify the problem of each sector of national and provide solution, but for the government to tell us that shows that the people we have up their are clueless.
There was a presidential event one time last year, and they called small doctor to come and perform, imagine that! I'm not hating on small doctor and in fact he can perform, like to entertain them, but what's wrong in inviting a young vibrant graduate, maybe best graduating student in a medical school, to talk on how the country can improve on her health sector, it will show that all the years the speaker put to study were not in vain, at least he/she was able to air his/her opinion on how to move the country forward, and from there motivates more to strife in the good course.

Great countries of today are not boasting about population or mineral resources, or some kind of being a delusional giant, they boast of their science and technology, art and culture, which their basis is quality education. And these political leaders know quality education, that's why they fly out to treat just headache, and send their wards to have that quality education.

Let's set aside love or passion for a political party or individual politicians and see that these people mean no good for us.
You will spend almost 7 years to study a 5 years course here in Nigeria, and their wards abroad will under 5 years get a degree and 2 masters degree. And they will come back, and their fathers will fix them on top of us and they will also in turn feed us and our children they lies their fathers fed us.

Sports / Re: Wayne Rooney: "Lionel Messi Is The Best Player Ever" by Lefty500: 7:05pm On Oct 10, 2018
Some people that don't know football will say Xavi and Iniesta assisted Messi. The question is how many assists did these guys give Messi individually?
The highest assist Messi has gotten from a single person is 27 (from Suarez), the previous holder of the record is Dánì Alves that left barça 2 seasons ago. And Ronaldo's highest assister is Benzema, he gave Ronaldo more than 30 assists, follow by Ozil around 27 follow by Di Maria around 22.
So who is assisting who?
What I just discovered is that, the absence of Xavi and Iniesta has given Messi more roles (midfielder, player maker, forwarder).
Ronaldo is good, no doubt about that, but my god of football is Messi, he dribbles, he creates chances, he converts, free kick is 99.99%.
Last season, Messi was the most dribble completed, most pass completed, most assist, most chance created, most goal scored, he scored 7 freekicks (equalizing Ronaldinho's record), was Ronaldo on leave? Top 100 dribblers in the top flight leagues last season, Ronaldo wasn't there.
At age 28, Ronaldo has stopped bothering himself about play making and dribbling, all he does is stay in the box and tap in, and if a player fails to assist him, he gets angry.
Messi is a play I can show my kids, a wonderful tales to tell.

Great idea. I run a drone company providing services in construction, agriculture and security and know the potential of this technology. Only thing I am concerned about is battery limitation. This is a hexacopter and the best you can find gets about 45 minutes on a set; then this has to also power a defibrillator from that same battery and would probably need a transformer to generate the 200-1000 volts needed. It may be able to fly to the scene and provide help but won’t be able to respond to another or even take off again but it is a really good idea... will we buy one Let’s see
Wow, I like to read sensible comments like yours. But do you think the cons or limitations you have put up there had not been thought of? And who knows, it might be powered by different technology you don't have an idea of?
I would say you make some more research and see how you could solve the battery problem. God bless you.
