CelebritiesKenyan Socialite Vera Sidika Confirms She's Pregnant by Letenwam(op): 4:48pm On Apr 01, 2018
Controversial Kenyan socialite, Vera Sidika who will be turning 29 this September is reportedly pregnant with her first baby, which according to her has always been her wish before she hits 30.

Vera Sidika who has been linked to many African big boys in the past, reports she never denied, disclosed she had to go public with her pregnancy, after a media house called to confirm if she is pregnant and further disclosed they will be publishing their story in coming weeks.

According to the Kenyan socialite, she had avoided Snapchat and IG before now, because of her pregnancy. Though she never disclosed who the father of the baby is, however here's what she wrote;

Yesterday, I got a call from a media house informing me that they received an anonymous tip, that I was pregnant and asking me to confirm or deny. I refused to comment and they told me that they'll publish the story in the coming week. I knew they would publish the rumours with or without my confirmation and realized that I can't hide for too long. I honestly thought I possibly could but it's hell. Your movements are limited and very difficult especially being a public figure. My doctor makes house calls cause walking into a hospital without being recognized would have been impossible keeping up with social media has become a myth because my growing tummy will be a topic so I had to stay off Snapchat, post old photos on IG, To avoid suspicions. I always wanted to have a baby before I hit 30. I'm turning 29 this September and this was the perfect timing. I'm very grateful and the happiest I've ever been in my life. But kept it lowkey cause I wanted a stress free journey. Away from paparazzi and nosey people. But we can't control the media. Somehow they always get to find out and beat us on our own game. So just before you read it from the blogs, this is me confirming, I am pregnant and just can't wait to have my bundle of joy. I feel so blessed Cant wait for my gender reveal/announcement party
P.S; I'll share videos of my journey so far. This coming week.

PoliticsThis Man Is Giving Out His SUV Over Two Projects Buhari Initiated And Completed by Letenwam(op): 9:46pm On Mar 30, 2018
Few days ago, the President Buhari administration celebrated its third year in power, and what Nigerians on social media have been asking for, are projects he initiated and completed.

A Nigerian man and Facebook user, Victor Ezeanochie, took a rather radical move in finding out about projects started and completed by the present administration. According to him, he will be giving out his Lexus 300 SUV to anybody who mentions two projects initiated and completed by President Buhari.

His post reads;

BONANZA!! BONANZA!! BONANZA!!

I, HON VICTOR EZENDIGBO hereby resolve to give away my Lexus 300 jeep to anybody particularly buharists and buharians who can mention just two projects initiated,completed and commissioned by this present buhari led APC govt.
All documents to this vehicle is ready for grab.
GOODLUCK..

Nobody has won the prize which came with the post, which has long garnered 132 comments and 236 shares.

There's also a tweet on projects initiated and completed by President Buhari's government, in its 3 years in power. The tweet announced that anyone who mentions projects initiated and completed by President Buhari, will get 350k as a prize.

Twitter influencer @Sire_liljosh who confirmed the tweet, wrote;

Someone challenged Nigerians to name ONE federal government project initiated, completed and commissioned by Buhari since he came to power 3 years ago and win N20k The prize is now N350,000 and people still haven't found one!!! Just ONE project o o

This is after trillions of money have been recovered, given and borrowed. But Baba have cows and a mud house and he is fighting corruption.

Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, also lent his voice to call for landmark achievement of the Buhari's government. His tweets reads;

At this point, VP @ProfOsinbajo must be told to stop singing this old song of blame. Nigerians are no longer interested in what PDP did or failed to do.Rather, they are interested in what the APC govt has done and the VP should just tell Nigerians the achievements of their govt.

Today, even prosecution witnesses are suddenly disappearing in corruption cases involving those who have decamped to the APC and properties once seized are being returned to them. Obviously, PDP has purged itself of corrupt elements in its fold and offloaded them to the APC.

If VP @ProfOsinbajo can look around himself with honest eyes, he will see majority of those who called the shots during the previous PDP govts that he claimed mismanaged the country’s resources holding sensitive positions in the present govt.

Despite being a Professor of Law, the VP defended @officialEFCC Ag. Chairman, Magu that was indicted of corruption by the DSS, an agency under the President, by saying that Magu do not need the National Assembly to clear him. He is always jumping to defend what is indefensible.

Today, the most difficult question any student can be asked to answer in an examination is to list just five landmark achievements of the APC government in which Prof Osinbajo is the Vice President.

It was under three years that PDP government solved communication problems in Nigeria by providing Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) that has made it possible for Nigerians to use internet, social media and even bank in the comfort of their homes.

It is almost three years; Prof Osinbajo should tell Nigerians what their government did and stop blame-game please.

CelebritiesTboss Quotes Bible In Response To Curse Placed On Her Husband By Her Father by Letenwam(op): 3:59pm On Mar 27, 2018
In what seems to be direct response to the curse placed on her future husband by her father, Engr Vincent Idowu, TBoss took to her Instagram stories to share a bible verse.

Recall that exchanges between Mr Idowu and a troll @Ophilia_drank who said he looked like a roasted he-goat on his wedding day, brought about the uproar and the curse on any man who marries TBoss and his siblings without his blessings.

The post which had the curse embedded in it reads;

”When destiny smiles on someone, he forgets that there is life elsewhere. If I look like a roasted goat on my wedding day, that’s cool but that writer will soon become a resident of a subcity where people with severed limbs, broken bones, amputations, stinking blind and lame reside. THIS IS A PROMISE.

I live a humble, private life and did not intimate TBoss or any of her siblings of my plan to remarry in accordance with my tradition/custom. Furthermore, I did not make public or post anything about my marriage.

I am starting a new beginning and clearing the slate of all the wrong decisions I made in my life. I just want to forget Tokunbor (TBoss) and her siblings and start life afresh for all its worth. If and wherever Tboss and any of her siblings gets married, it shall be without my blessings and woe unto the man or the woman who marries any of them. So shall it be by the power vested on me by God Almighty”.

TBoss who responded to the curse, shared the Bible verse 'Proverbs 26:2' on her Instagram stories.

Proverbs 26:2  reads- For as a bird flying over to high things, and as a sparrow going into uncertain; so cursing brought forth without reasonable cause shall come above into some man.

EducationOsula Daniel Enahoro Expelled From DELSU For Refusing To 'Bribe' For His Project by Letenwam(op): 8:33pm On Jan 30, 2018
An aggrieved Delsu student (Delta State University), Osula Daniel Enahoro, took to Facebook to recount all that he faced in the school, that led to his expulsion.

The Delsu Student disclosed that his bitter ordeal in the hands of Hilllary Owamah, a lecturer and the HOD (Head of Department) of Civil and Environmental Engineering department he was admitted to, started after he refused paying his way through his project.  Here's his story, brace up it is a long read but worth it;

PART TWO

I managed a CPGA of 3.82, in my first year.
3.64 in my second year.
It was in my third year, life crisis, depression, unseriousness and every reason else, I depreciated to 3.44.

That same year, I contested and lost for the post of Social Director under SUG, Oleh campus, after having served as Secretary under Nigerian Institute of civil engineers, oleh chapter. In all of these years of service, I didn't breach my oath of matriculation. I wasn't found wanting for gross misconduct.
After losing, I was unanimously chosen to represent my department at the Student Representative Counsel, as Honorable. I obliged. I pushed for the abolishment of 300 naira payment of SUG dues that wasn't being paid in the head campus; arguing overnight with the then Sports director, who was my course mate and course rep. I started an argument of one Nigeria and reason for non indigene fee as well as catchment area be looked into. That didn't float. The then speaker, who doubled as my landlord's son, told me to focus on addressing issues bothering my department, as that was where I was to represent firsthand. True. But each time I asked department 'what's up', I got the cold shoulder. Everything seemed perfect, so nothing to fix. OK na. In all, many people can attest to the fact that I did my job to the best of my abilities in the SRC. The sport's and social director, and even the then SUG president, can attest to the heat I gave over outrageous budgets.
All of these times, I didn't breach oath of matriculation or was found wanting for gross misconduct.
I served as Vice president under NICESA again in my fourth year, and when the former president who I established a relationship with, asked me afterwards, if I would be the president in my finals, I gave her a bold no. She asked why, I said the students don't want me or what I could offer. I was too controversial, wierd, different and irregular. Make I no go put anybody for problem. All of these times, I wasn't found wanting for any offences.

In my finals, a new HOD would begin his reign. A lot of adjustments. Rumors had it that this guy was good, nice, humorous and everything in between. We were glad; or rather, I was glad. We were fed up with the stern and strict nature of the former. Everyone avoided getting involved with him. With the new one, it was different. He was not the regular kind of Nigerian lecturer; brutal, mean wicked, commanding, oppressing. We didn't do our findings, we all rushed and registered his optional course. Nearly 90% of the entire class.
This was an eye opener, with a failure of more than 75% after all the preaching, everyone began to adjust and treat our relationship with him with caution. For avoidance of generalizing, I will strictly relate this to me.

In my second semester finals, I was called in a class I was absentia. The hod had announced me the highest in his C.A test for a course he was handling. 22 of 30. He shook hands with me. Until that moment, we maintained a cordial relationship.

Things took a different turn towards our project defence. The hod was strict, stern, commanding and overbearing, and many of us had began to complain and grumble at this new development. He made it a duty to always remind us that it was for our own good.
What sparked the loudest uproar was when the hod had began asking for us to pay certain amount of money for the project defence sake. The reason? Our personal refreshment. Every other department sympathized with us whenever we told our tales. He, through the course rep always made it a duty to remind erring students that they would not be allowed defend their projects.

You know the kind of panic it would stir, especially for finalist? Ehen. So people began paying. I paid too. In the end, no refreshment. They said the money wasn't enough and so we have to pay again if we want our project defense to continue successfully. That the request he made to Abraka wasn't fully granted and we had to put two and two together to make it work.

Of course, broke as I am, I complained. My grouse was why they had to keep giving this money collection names that wasn't. Said it was our refreshment but there wasn't any such thing. This man even made us spend more, asking for four printed copies of works to be corrected and so we would print and reprint. All money.

This issue stirred conflicts among all the student. The ones who had issues with all this and the ones who didn't. Series of class meetings were held and we reached an agreement. Everybody was to let sleeping dogs lie. The did was already done.
Not until external supervisor complained about the amount of pages of our works and ask us to add to it and print again. Another money! Again, the class was torn apart.

I personally had to consult the student handout and saw it had dictated how projects were to be done. It also outlined the authorities of the external supervisor. So when the class meeting held for the umpteenth time, I and a few other course mates raised these issues. Somehow, we reached an agreement, albeit not clearly visible whether the man was unhappy or not. But one could tell he wasn't from how he handled the last meeting. But well, what can anyone do?

It was until during the course of the week that we heard our department and the hod had been petitioned and summoned for whatever reason. Apparently, someone as unsatisfied as me, had gone ahead to write a letter to the provost, anonymously. Being the only writer and the one who was loudest about his disagreement, everyone concluded I must be the one behind that petition. I am saying it again here and now; although I completely agree, as every honest person in that department would, that the content of the letter isn't far from the truth, I wasn't the brain behind it. Until today, I don't even know and can't guess who was.

Anyway, this really upset the hod as he had thought the meetings we had held had yielded satisfactory results. Of course, anyone in his shoe would lose it. I had course mates who never visited began coming to my house just to have conversations with me about that petition; sort of trying to find out if I was really behind it or yes. Honestly, I wasn't, but I didn't care anymore. I was just focused on writing my exams and leaving. Everyone was at that edge now. The department had become so toxic. There was even a fight and physical confrontation amongst some course mates in one of the meetings.

This was when threats began to fly. Of how I would fail and come back. Of how I will not graduate. Of how I needed to go and clear my name and apologize; for what exactly? I do not know.

After the hod's course exams, there was an announcement that there was mass failure and he needed to reconsult another test... AFTER EXAMS! I got the hint that I was the reason behind that test. Remember I got the highest? So the plan was to nullify that test or divide it into two and make sure I performed poorly in the new one. I raised an alarm immediately. The Provost called for a meeting in my department and addressed it. He canceled the test and we all carried on.
Anyway, results started to come out, and unlike usual, they weren't pasted. You had to personally go and check yours yourself.

To my utter amazement, this man said I scored 14/70, thus ending up with an F in his course. Apparently, there was mass failure. But that wasn't my business. It was 6 or 7 questions to answer 4 or 5, something along that line. I just scoffed. There was already boldy written on the department board, a notice of registering your grievances by applying for remark if you were not entirely satisfied. I saw the handwriting on the wall. Even the way I was attended to when I walked into the office to get my result, it was all clear how personal this man was taking it. First he claimed I didn't greet him, when in fact I did. But then, I still greeted him again.

Anyway, long story short, I wrote to the Provost immediately effectively, because I had had the hint before then that I was a target. I knew all of this quite too well before it had happened.

PART 3

My letter was returned to me and I was asked to copy the department, the faculty and the campus. I did and submitted all three copies. And for three months plus, from August to October, I got no feedback or response. Until early October. The course rep called to inform me the did needed my attention. I went there, was talked down about how well I tought I performed in that course and about he seeing my script and me not doing exactly well. That I could either write to the VC or prepare towards next semester. That there was nothing, absolutely nothing both his office and that of the Provost, could do about it. I weighed my options. If I wrote to the VC, it would take forever to get a response. Recall my first year and writing to the DVC over my admission issues, it took months. So now what? I figured I was deliberately stalled until a close to the opening of a new session, and the Dean's advice somehow stressed on preparing for next semester more than writing to the VC. He kept stressing how he invited me over as his son and not a student and tried shutting me up whenever I raised the discrepancies in the breakdown of the exam scores.

Apparently, what I had noticed was that there were a selected few persons; a combination of some persons who paid that last money, and those students who went to stand in defence of the hod at the panel set up to look into the letter the Provost received earlier to which the department was petitioned. Of course, I had been announced highest, with 22 of 30, but now, there were higher scores. 25, 27 and even 29, of some persons who I know fully well were absent during that test. Most of the people who were absent got a dash to show they were. Matter of factly, in the last student disciplinary panel I was invited, I and the hod met and talked one on one and I raised that observation, to which he said it was his mark and he could give it to anyone he deemed fit, that it was only exams he couldn't tamper with. But the CA was his for the taking.
Not until the senate approved a result that would see 58 people resit for an extra year with less than 25 people graduating. I wa among this 58.
Seeing as I wasn't getting desired results, I went public with my story. I published it on my personal Facebook page and somehow, it sparked unrest. I had a selected few course mates come to defend the hod and malign my person on my page. It got really messy and if you had followed back then, you would well know what transpired.
This is the breach of matriculation oath and gross misconduct Delsu is talking about. My Facebook publications. The hod had gone ahead to file a petition of death threat, he quoted excerpts of my post to suit these allegations. I got calls from DSS, the Police and a lawyer. I defended myself and didn't honor any of their invitations and stated explicitly why. I wrote my own letters and countered the petition from Asaba here.

On one of such occasions, I received a call from the Oleh police and spoke to the hod, the former hod and a lawyer at the other end. Apparently, the hod was making outrageous allegations of me being used as a tool by the former hod to confront his office in a bid to oust him or whatever reasons he made of the matter. Shocking and hilarious as these allegations, I defended myself, both on my page, in my letter and in the student panel. The hod had to go as low as revisiting the SIWES I didn't complete in year four at the panel. It was raised and explained myself in clear terms.
At the last panel, the allegations were read out openly to me; 'accused of gross misconduct and breach of matriculation oath'. I said I was not guilty of these offenses and went on to narrate entirely my own side of the story. After fair hearing, the lady preciding over the panel thanked me for coming and simply ended with 'it was nice having you'. And I took my leave. Not before being cross examined by the hod himself to which I will reply here as I wasn't given the room to respond to him then:

Question: did you meet me at any time to address this issue?

Answer: no sir. Why? Sir, with all due respect, a person who wants to be met, will make himself available. Until the announcement of the result you were unreachable. You blocked me on all social media outlets, even WhatsApp, where we used to chat regularly before this whole ruckus. You barred my lines and I there was no way I could call you. Even when I changed number, you somehow got notified and barred that one too. Do you honestly think, given all these antecedents, you wanted me to reach out sincerely speaking?

Question: why didn't you write to the VC?
Answer: I wrote to the Provost, and it took nearly three months only to be told nothing could be done and I should prepare for next semester. This was after series of visits to the office with confirmation that the office of the Provost were on it and had demanded my script. If truly nothing could be done as later stated, why demand for my script? With all these, you sincerely think, given the time frame, anyone would opt for that?

Since then, until now, I heard nothing. They took my phone number anyway, but I got no text or calls from them. After series of personal conversations and talks with other people, I resolved to just pay for the extra hear and get it done with. I didn't have the funds, so I had to beg and borrow from some persons. It is this January and you know how January is, so for most people I got promises of feedback and all, but I somehow managed to raise the money towards dying minutes. I just paid sometime last two weeks, 21st precisely. That was when we heard portal would be closing. I registered the courses and carried on with my life, until yesterday evening when I was notified of this most recent development.

I was expecting it, which was why I called days before paying to confirm the decision of the panel. The man picked my call, heard my voice and dropped the call. He didn't pick again, so I stopped calling. I called the hod, bit he had barred my lines so I texted him. I didn't get a reply.

I went ahead to pay. And now this.

PART FOUR
You see ehn, let me not just talk much. Meanwhile, here is the matriculation oath that has no clause:
'On admission to membership of the Delta State University, I sincerely and solemnly promise and declare that I will respect and obey the Vice Chancellor, and the other officers of the university, and that I will faithfully observe all existing regulations and any others which may from time to time be made for the good order and governance of the university. I faithfully promise to work for the good name of the university, to refrain from any act of violence and to make restitution for damage to property by me or the student body. I also promise to refrain from any other actions aimed at disrupting the work of the university or likely bring its name to disrepute.'

It doesn't further state; and if found wanting of these rules, or if this oath be breached by me, that the school has it within their power to met out any punishment they deem fit. There is no such clause. Expulsion? Such an outrageous decision! And how have I even breached this oath? If that is the argument? Have I physically confronted anyone? Have I reacted violently? My social media activities are gross misconduct? All the panels I was invited for, four to this date, I didn't miss any, no matter how far or busy I was, I made it s duty to be present because there was nothing to hide or lie about.

Page 58 of the Student constitution book spells out expulsion well:

Expulsion: this is the outright withdrawal of the privilege of studentship from any undergraduate of the university by the vice chancellor. Such a student automatically loses the privilege of the use of all university facilities. Students punished by the Student Disciplinary committee may appeal to the University governing council against the verdict within seven days of the receipt of such a verdict.

The student who stumbled on this said it was published on the 19th of January. Yet I paid my fees on the 21st. My portal had been accessible and is still accessible until this minute. If there be any adjustment, it would be around now. I didn't receive any verdict and would never have known about this if my attention wasn't called to it.

Let it be known that I am ready to do everything within my power to further push this to whatever height it reaches. I wouldn't want to indict myself so I would give no further details. From all the information I could garner throughout the night, there isn't anywhere where it is stated explicitly that the penalty for breach of matriculation oath is expulsion. There hasn't been any proof to these claims in fact; that I breached any oath. The oath is what it is, an oath, and nowhere does it state is as the rules and regulations of the university. To my knowledge, I haven't been found wanting breakingnany such rules.

Page 45 of the student constitution handbook states explicitly that:

'The university seeks to remove any dichotomy which tends to seperate the students from the university management. It seeks to destroy the old idea of master-servant relationship between student and management.'

And I clearly see how well you have done that.

Let it be known that all along, I had been a peace loving and rule abiding student. As freedom of speech is not an offence, I aired my views and fought a just fight and I am not willing to give up or back out now. I am ready to take whatever the results be in good faith, and if I am not incarcerated or sentenced, I will continue to pursue a sane, just and transparent society on every fore. It is that to this day, the 30th day of January, 2018, that I make this intentions known to the general public. Whatever steps and decisions I take henceforth, are solely my responsibilities and mine alone to bear the brunt of that which may be.

You may copy and tag or mention all blog channels or media organizations you know, this young man isn't giving up this fight with the last drop of my blood.

CelebritiesUche Ogbodo: "I Sometimes Cry For Being A Single Mother" by Letenwam(op): 9:32am On Jan 27, 2018
Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo, sat for a chat with Emelogu Favour. Here are excerpts from the interview.

The time was 5:03pm, I dialed Uche Ogbodo’s number to schedule an interview with her. She picked at first call and in few seconds, I was already talking to this actress who featured in movies, I grew up becoming fond of and even do a throw back with.

It’s quite amazing seeing that Uche Ogbodo still has a place in the Nigerian movie Industry, the third biggest movie Industry in the world, 14 years after and still counting. The light skinned actress was friendly at the other end of the phone and before we rounded off the interview plan, she said ‘shey na wetin I talk you go write?’ Quite funny, but the year had already begun with drama between an actress and a reporter.

Our little chat was meant to be just about Uche Ogbodo’s plan for the year, but few minutes after the call dropped, I will see a photo of the beautiful actress already in the gym on Instagram with ‘Back 2 the Grind ‘ caption and different work out inspired hashtags. I had to make a quick upgrade on the questions, and trust me;  Uche Ogbodo is one actress whose other ‘angle’ you’ll like to know.

Before the recent photo on her Instagram page, there was an ‘Uche Ogbodo brand’ DP on her page, one would think that the actress wants to go into more production this year, however she had this to say;

Yes there was a logo on my Instagram page but it isn’t a production house Logo. It’s a brand logo for the Uche Ogbodo Brand. My Intention is to do more starring this year than production. Of course that is my main job.

You once said Nollywood feels like a cult, does it still feel that way?

Well it still feels that way because things are still done in Circles. But I’m not letting that deter me. Because Nollywood itself is very Huge and can contain everyone with their diverse talents and creative mindset, so I am focusing on myself and what I can bring to the table.

Some say your 2017 birthday dress and fashion style is not conventional with the Nigerian culture, are we seeing more 'middle finger' style this year?

Well in fashion and what I wear on my skin, I hardly seek opinions nor attention with it. I wear what I love and what I feel good in. I’m not one to check on what people may think about what I wear or not. It is my body and it is my money as well. So what the hell!

Your movie 'Rip Tide' took almost a year, was there any production hitch?

Well yeah, I had some technical delays with RIPTIDE that I was trying to sort out in the studio, but now everything is fine and we are ready to release.

Any regrets being a single mother?

I’m not even gonna lie, I sometimes feel so bad and cry when things get so much on me, because I feel raising a child is a job for 2 people not 1. I never wanted to be a single mother, fate chose me!!  But nonetheless, I have no regrets on deciding to keep the baby and not abort it. I’m happy with myself, one of the best decisions I ever made. And I’m happy with the Lovely Daughter God Blessed me with. It’s all worth the effort.

Do you think the culture and belief system of tribes in Nigeria have been fair to single mothers? Are you under any pressure to remarry?

 Well I know our African culture and tradition does not support singleness nor single motherhood, and I don’t think it’s bad. I love African Culture and the discipline that comes with it. But ultimately the choice to cajole a child or daughter into marriage is that of the direct or immediate family, and I come from the most organized lovely and supportive Family. They all know what I went through with my Ex and they are supporting me through it all. They are more concerned with me healing completely from my scar, than forcing me into marriage.

Tattoos tell a story and you have one, what’s your own story?

The story behind my tattoo is; at the end of it all, all the glory belongs to Almighty God!  My tattoo is an embedded Cross with “Glory” written across it.

Are you a fan of gender equality?

 I am a big Fan of Gender Equality

Have you had any face-off with a colleague you won't forget?

 I’ve had face-offs with some of my colleagues, but they are minor confrontations that happen daily on the course of our job. But the Greatest Confrontations of them all, would be when I was physically assaulted by a marketer then “Amaco” or whatever his name is again. I will never forget that! He even went on to feign innocence in the incident, buying people with money to lie against me, telling them to say I was the one who assaulted him first. He even told the press that I slapped him first just to destroy my name! This Man assaulted me mercilessly and stripped me naked for no sin I could remember. He even threatened me, saying that he will destroy my career and that I should bid Nollywood goodbye. Well he tried his best but God is bigger than him.

Ada Slim is your friend, what do you have to say about her banter with Tonto Dikeh?

 I don’t really know the issue between them. Ada is my friend but I didn’t ask because this case is between two former best friends, and they will sort it out. It’s none of my business.

You have a 'clique' which includes Anita Joseph, Angela Okorie, Obehi Inojie and Tracy Daniel, what makes those ladies special to you?

 Those ladies are special to me, because they are really strong women with diverse originality and orientations. I love being friends with women who know their onion.

What's that part of Uche Ogbodo behind the scene we don't know? What else should we expect from you this year apart from acting in 2018?

That part of me behind the scene people don’t know is; how carefree and easy going I am. I don’t really like all the fuss that comes with celebrity life.  I just like to enjoy family time with my kid and two sisters that stay with me. I am also very ‘spiritual’ as well. In 2018, I have lots of ideas that I’m unveiling, especially one that is starting really soon, I can’t wait to share it all with you guys. Uche Ogbodo’s brand is really growing and spreading out. God willing, everything will fall into place as I expect it should.

Are you open to love in 2018? Is marrying your colleague a "Yes Yes" for you?

I am very much open to falling in love. Everyone who knows me, know that I am a girl who believes in love, although I haven’t been so lucky with love, but I believe real love will find me soon and keep me locked down. So 2018 is the year maybe, and I don’t have a choice of who I will marry or not, one can find love in different places. I believe true love has no color, so if I find it in a colleague, I will be delighted to walk down the aisle with him.

Banky W and your colleague Adesua Etomi's marriage was the biggest thing in 2017, what do you have to say about their love story?

 I never saw it coming, but I was really happy for them. God bless their Union.

I saw the trailer of 'Mrs Noah', was that sex scene real?

 Hell Yes & No it wasn’t real, it was just acting

What was your experience with Anthony Monjaro? What should we expect from 'Kissing Shadows'? Is there any award you hope to clinch with it?

 Kissing Shadows is one of my best movies and project in 2018. I’m really happy I was chosen for my role, and starring alongside Anthony Monjaro was real great. We had a chemistr, he is a very good actor. I love working with actors I have chemistry with.  Well if I’m able to clinch an award with ‘Kissing Shadows’, that would be really great.

CelebritiesMy Skit With Obasanjo Was A Campaign For Youths To Join Politics- Samuel Ajibola by Letenwam(op): 7:29am On Jan 27, 2018
Nollywood actor, Samuel Ajibola sat for an interview with Emelogu Favour, and here are excerpts from the chat they had.

I had just arrived our scheduled place of meeting for the interview with Samuel Ajibola, but for few minutes I was lost. I met the manager of the place at the lobby, and gave the friendly lady the wrong name. Wrong because I told them I was there to see Samuel Ajibola, and I got a quizzed look from the manager and the receptionist who at same time told me no one there bears such name. Oh my bad, I quickly recollected and told them his name is ‘Spiff’ , and that was when I noticed the lady had a nice smile.

Our dear actor Samuel Ajibola will arrive minutes later and gave me countless  ‘I’m sorry for taking so long’ apologies. It was actually worth the wait and before we sat, I threw a quick question to him; “Last year was a good year right, you won the AMVCA and we saw more of Samuel Ajibola’, I asked, “yes it was and also for you too’ he replied, a reply that sent me on a rollercoaster of flashbacks.

I recalled sitting at Native Media’s reception one of those days in January 2017, waiting to be called up for my meeting with Rogers Ofime, Producer of ‘The Johnsons’. A portrait of ‘The Johnsons’ major casts hung on the wall, and there was also a special portrait of the ‘Spiff’ part of Samuel Ajibola on the wall too, smiling. I remember smiling at the portrait, and had a feeling that “Spiff” was smiling back at me; and one year after, I’m in same room having a chat with him.

I waited for few seconds to see if ‘Spiff’ would stick out 3 fingers while two remained bent, but never saw that imbecilic part throughout the interview, which made me ask;

We all thought we were going to be Doctors, Lawyers and Engineers, so how come becoming an ‘actor’?

I actually got into acting as a young boy, he replied. Then in Primary school, it was something I just found myself doing. So later on, I think I just fell in love with it, got used to the idea of just being on set, interpreting characters, it just became part of me. Like you mentioned, it wasn’t really something that I initially wanted to venture into. As a young boy I had so many things I wanted to do, at a point I wanted to be a Vertinary Doctor, I wanted to be a Petro-Chemical Engineer, I wanted to be a Pilot, I wanted to be a banker because my mum is a banker; I just had a lot of things I wanted to do.

Getting to know that he had lots of professions on the table before acting, I asked;

Do you still think you can venture into any of those professions you listed?  He laughed, and replied ‘I’m far gone to venture into any of that at this point in my life.’

What are your projects for 2018?

I have so many projects in 2018 and I’m hoping by the grace of God, I’ll be able to accomplish them all. I have some movies I’ve done, that will be released this year. Cinema movies are one of the projects I’ve done already, apart from that, I’m intending to release more episodes of “Dele Issues”, It’s a new production that I started sometime last year. I also have a lot of work to do about my foundation ‘The Samuel Ajibola’ Foundation, which I intend to use to go round the nation, sanitizing young secondary school students to take their careers serious. That’s the best time to catch them, that’s the time they are most vulnerable to positive and negative energies. That’s the time they begin to sharpen their characters, their behavioral patterns, their drive towards life, that’s the time they can become lazy in the future, that’s also the time they can actually be hardworking, that’s the time you can get them to grow up to be successful in life. This is not just because children are my biggest fans, but because if we complain that our leaders are not doing well currently, and then we know that children are going to be leaders of tomorrow, that means on our own part we should make sure that they are prepared for it. That’s just something I want I want to do.

Talking about leaders, you know there is a ‘Not too young to run’ bill which has been passed in 12 states, are you a fan of it, do you think the current President has done well?

Well, my special episode with Former President Olusegun Obasanjo was a campaign actually to promote the ‘Not too young to run’ campaign, that has been going on. If you look at the world today, you will see that a lot of things are changing, a lot of things are happening, we have younger leaders coming out and doing amazing things. We have Emmanuel Macron, the current President of France, Sebastian Kurz from Austria who is also doing something amazing. We call them the ‘Political Wizkids’, and these people are lesser than 40, lesser than 35 actually, so I think the same can also apply here in Nigeria. We have young and well trained people, I have travelled abroad, I have lots of experience and have met people in different sectors that could come in and make sure there is change in this country, I am one of them.

‘I am one of them?’ So are you contesting for any political office?

I don’t know for now, but I am someone that always wants to make a change wherever I am. So if I find myself there, then definitely you will know.

How did you pull off the “Spiff’ Character in ‘The Johnsons’, seeing you’re quite different from him on contact?

It was a couple of things I put up together when I was given the role, and I wanted to make a difference. I’m a trained actor and I’m someone that believes a lot in ‘method’ acting. When I got the opportunity to do it, I just creatively put up a couple of things together, and then the faces from Tom and Jerry; Spiff’s face is actually Tom’s face. It just worked and people liked it. However I will like to give credit to my teachers, people that impacted the knowledge in me; rest in peace late Amaka Igwe. She did an amazing job in my life, and also have a big impact in the way I interpret characters today.

When you started off as part of the cast in “The Johnsons”, there was and still A-list actors in the sitcom, were you intimidated and what’s your relationship with them?

No I was not; it’s something I’ve been doing since I was a young boy. So along the line, 10-15 years later it’s not something new to me. We are all on cordial, friendly, brother, sisterly relationship, most especially casts from ‘The Johnsons’.   I haven’t really worked with a lot of people in the industry today because “The Johnsons’ is a very demanding project, but some A-list actors I’ve worked with are hardworking, caring and down to earth.

Susan Pwajok turned a year older recently, and some birthday shoutouts from the ‘The Johnsons’ cast conveyed a message of watching her grow, do you think you guys helped her grow?

Yes, without doubt. Why because, there’s no way you will be on a project with someone since 2012, that’s about 6 years now, and you guys will not one way or the other have some sort of relationship that will rub off on each other positively. We have become one big family, we watched her grow, we appreciated her, we loved her and scolded her; we just became one family that have impact in each others’ lives.

Nollywood scandals, do you think you can handle that?

First of all, I’m a responsible person and won’t put myself in way of things that would allow such things to happen. But however, I know for sure because you’re a public figure, one way or the other, some bad guys will go on smear campaigns, look for nasty things to say about you. It is now a rampant thing on social media, but I’m overly focused. I’m more focused on my visions more than my distractions, so in that way if things like that happen, I will totally ignore it.

Have you had a girlfriend? How do you handle female fans?

Laughs and asks; who at this age will not have had a girlfriend? But currently I’m not dating anybody, I’m single and chasing my dreams. I maybe or might not be searching, but I’m more focused on work. I have lot of projects I need to execute.  I also have so many female fans sliding into my DM and it’s not abnormal anyway, but I’m not distracted by it. Yes a fan might slide in and say ‘hey I like what you do’ and I will reply ‘Thank you’, but once the handshake don dey reach shoulder, mehn I just ignore most of them.

What was your experience at Calabar Carnival last year, were you invited and will you like to go back?

It was a wonderful experience and I’ll definitely love to go back to Calabar. I love the development in that part of the country; it’s a very beautiful place with beautiful people. I’ll definitely like to go back there.

So Calabar and Lagos, where will you love to base?

Obviously Lagos, I was born here, grew up here and so It will always be here.

You have friends and everybody must have chosen their career path and all grown too, do you still keep up with them or they think you’ve outgrown them?

Yes, I still keep up with them. If there’s anything I know, I know progress means you may not be on the same level with everyone. If you have to grow from where you are to where you want to be, that means you will meet new people that will help sharpen your life and take you to where you are going; new contacts, new friends,  new all that. But I’m not someone that completely cuts off my friends, I try as much as possible to keep up with them. I know the major problem is, I have a busy schedule that will not give me that luxury I want to reach out to them as often as I should, but I ensure I reach out to my real friends one way or the other. We see often, but not like everyone in same place.

Everybody is trying to be woke, atheism is springing up at each turn and then there is religious craziness too. Do you have a personal relationship with God?

I have a personal relationship with God,  I’m a Christian, a born again, I believe in God. I won’t drift even though I know the definition of ‘drifting’ can differ, but I don’t think my relationship with God is something I want to drop anytime soon. It’s something I want to hold and cherish forever, because that is what has gotten me this far.

What do you think about the tithe controversy?

People have their own opinion towards religion, and the tithe controversy is a sensitive matter and I won’t just dabble into it. The most important thing is my relationship with God, someone else’s opinion is his or her opinion as it is, but it won’t change mine regarding things I used to do, my doctrine and belief.

Media personality and actress, Eku Edewor, has stepped in to support actress Dorcas Fapson following the controversy sparked by her story, which narrated her encounter with a Taxify driver called Nnaemeka Henry who she claimed tried kidnapping and raping her.

Eku Edewor, who shut down claims that Dorcas Fapson is trying to seek attention with the story, further said she believes her friend and can attest to her character. She wrote;

I attest to @ms_dsf character. She would not willingly destroy another persons character for petty reasons. I think it's wrong that anyone discredit her because she is not acting, sounding or accounting a matter in a way they think it should be. Is there a blueprint for how the storyline of assault should go? or should she be broken and ruined first beyond repair before you can listen. I believe you Dorcas, stay strong and God keep you. #ibelieveyoudorcas#istandwithdsf

PoliticsFormer President Olusegun Obasanjo Calls For The Removal Of President Buhari by Letenwam(op): 2:53pm On Jan 23, 2018
The odds seems to be turning against Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari as a press release sent to us, confirms that former President Olusegun Obasanjo has called for a movement to replace President Buhari.

According to Former President Olusegun Obasanjo in the press release, President Buhari should be sent back to Katsina to look after his health after 2019, because he has not solved the questions surrounding unemployment, the economy and corruption.

Here's the press release below;

JUST RELEASED SPECIAL PRESS STATEMENT BY CHIEF OLUSEGUN OBASANJO Ph.D.

Obasanjo calls for Movement to replace Buhari

Chief Promoter of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, PhD has advised President Muhammadu Buhari not to run for 2019 presidential election. Instead he called for what he tagged the Coalition for Nigeria Movement to replace the existing political order in the country.

Obasanjo lamented that Buhari has failed to solve the questions surrounding unemployment, the economy and corruption. Worst still, he said Buhari surrounds himself with courtiers who are patently corrupt.

He called on the President to return to Katsina and look after his health after 2019, saying his place in history is reserved.

According to Chief Obasanjo “(T)he situation that made Nigerians to vote massively to get my brother Jonathan off the horse is playing itself out again.”

He therefore called for a mass movement of Nigerians to remove him in 2019 advising that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was not an option either.

On the other hand, Bisola revealed how she felt about TTT’ keeping his marriage away from her, Tboss put Uriel on blast for talking about her to other members of the house when she got out of the house.

‘He is such a fantastic actor, how did he hide that? I go on and on about my daughter, but I couldn’t understand how you could hide your family, it’s not like you are a single father, like me’, she said.

Soma on the other hand accused TBoss and Miyonse of making out when wrapped under the duvet, an accusation TBoss denied vehemently, claiming nothing happened. She also lashed out at Soma telling him to 'shut the f*ck up' as she never felt anything for Miyonse as she only enjoyed his company.

CelebritiesJedidiah Ogunleye, Simi's Mother Weds. Simi Plays Chief Bridesmaid Role by Letenwam(op): 12:31pm On Jan 20, 2018
Early this year, there was a viral report that Ms. Jedidiah Ogunleye 'Love don't care' crooner,  Simi's mum will be getting married this January.
Ms. Jedidiah Ogunleye and her estranged husband got separated in 1997 and she’s been single ever since. Simi’s mom who shared the testimony of her engagement at church on the eve of the New Year, said:

“I joined this church for over 20 years as a sinner. I will like to say a big thank you to Pastor Sam. My desire has always been to get married. Every Sunday, I’m always ushering couples to their seat and I love to see these couples ushered into the church because marriage is something I so much desire. Getting married has always been a particular goal I rewrite every year. My daughter Simi once told me that “mummy, this church you are going, it’s just young boys and youths that attend this church, you may never find a man of your age in that church.” But I trusted God too much.

Just this year a man walked into my life and as you can see, I am now engaged and would be getting married in January 2018."

According to sources present, just before the singer’s mom began sharing her testimony, the congregation was already screaming and Simi’s mom had to keep the congregation quiet in order to be heard. She was full of great excitement as she showed off her ring to the whole church.

Well today, the singer's mum walked down the aisle and Simi played Chief Bridesmaid role at the event. Here are photos below;
