Nigerian porn star Lady Gold who exposed her cleavage in a video she shared online as she advertised her business, disclosed that some of her followers have been asking for a Whatsapp call however those interested should pay the sum of N40,000.

According to Lady Gold, the N40K payment will be for only ONE video call and the interested client will be granted an “intimate” phone session where he can do whatever he likes. In a rare act of compassion, never done by any bank before, United bank for Africa,UBA, refunded the funds of a middle aged man who was recently robbed of his entire fund, amounting to N247,000.00.

The man who visited UBA Chevron branch office to complain about being robbed of his phone was assisted only to find that there were some other vital information that were not given and were necessary to block off his phone from the fraudsters.

The customer who later returned to complain of his funds being stolen was later consoled and given back his entire money by the bank. This again is a rare act of kindness and compassion.

Nollywood veteran actress and The Johnsons’ star, Ada Ameh in a new interview recounted how she dropped out of school after she got pregnant at 14.

According to the actress who went on to get a diploma in cosmetology, she only saw her father cry twice and that was when her mum died and when she got pregnant at 14. She said in her interview with Punch;

I was born in Lagos into a family of 11 children. I had five elder brothers and five younger sisters. My dad was a naval officer who was very friendly with his kids. My mother sells food and is a businesswoman. She, on the other hand, was the disciplinarian. I am very proud of her, especially for her strength and hardworking spirit. My father always preached love to us. We had our schedule on check – we knew what to do when we got home from school and when to do them. As a kid, I was a tomboy.



I dropped out of secondary school when I had my baby at 14. I went back to sit for the GCE as an external candidate and went on to get a diploma in Cosmetology.

On parenting, Ada Ameh said;

There’s no person who would give birth to a child at a young age and have an easy experience. My parents were genuinely devastated. Prior to that time, I had only seen my father cry once and that was when his mother, whom he loved dearly, passed on. The only other time I ever saw my dad cry was when I came home pregnant. After that, I was kicked out of the house but was later brought back. At that time, I couldn’t disclose the father of my child because I knew it would affect his job in the Armed Forces. My siblings were a great support system and I am forever grateful for the love they showed me. My daughter and her father are on relating terms and I relate with his children well too. He’s the father of my child and I respect him. My daughter is my greatest gift. She is my best friend and confidant.

A bride who stumbled got all the details of her partner's affair alongside her husband's cheating texts the night before she was due to marry him, decided to take drastic measures to humiliate her fiance.

Going with the pseudonym 'Casey', the distraught bride described how she "was hanging out in a glitzy hotel room" the night before the wedding when she says her "phone buzzed from across the room."

According to her, she was taken completely off guard, she claims "the message was a series of screenshots from a number I didn't recognise" followed by a text which read "I wouldn't marry him. Will you?" Though she never wanted to believe at first, however she realised "the screenshots were of conversations between my husband-to-be and another woman." She added that there weren't simply one or two messages but "loads of them, including selfies of the pair."

The texts ranged from:

"This weekend. You and I. It is on, hot stuff. Bring your A game."

To:

"I miss you so much, I can't stop thinking about f***king you... I've never had this kind of connection before."

"Your body is f*cking incredible. And sh*t do you know how to use it. I wish my GF had half the skills you do."

Casey disclosed that her friends demanded she call off the wedding but she couldn’t think straight, so she decided to sleep on it instead. When she woke, she claims she knew exactly what to do. She would go ahead with the wedding, but instead of reading her vows she would ‘out’ Alex as a cheater, reading the texts to their family and friends.

She further disclosed that she walked down the aisle, turned to the crowd as she reached the alter and said:

"There will be no wedding today. It seems Alex is not who I thought he was."

As soon as the words left her mouth, she said a ripple of shock went through the church before Alex attempted to grab her hands. She resisted, taking out her phone and reading the messages out loud.

A female colonel reportedly slapped a policeman who called her a prostitute, while on a road trip with her boyfriend in Lagos.  Twitter user @ucheodege who shared the story of the incident involving the policeman and the female colonel wrote;

The Nigerian government has disclosed that an estimated 40 million Nigerians, are believed to be suffering from mental disorders.

Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Health, Abdulaziz Mashi Abdullahi, who blamed the country’s high burden of mental disorders to inadequate attention paid to mental illnesses, misconceptions and lack of awareness on the part of the Nigerian public, added that more people will be disabled by psychological challenges than complications arising from HIV/AIDS, heart disease, accidents, and wars combined by the year 2020.

Speaking on Monday at the ongoing mental health action committee and stakeholders workshop in Abuja, Abdulaziz said; 

“In Nigeria, an estimated 20%–30% of our populations are believed to suffer from mental disorders. This is a very significant number considering Nigeria has an estimated population of over 200 million.

“Unfortunately, the attention given to mental health disorders in Nigeria is inadequate. The level of awareness of the Nigerian public on mental health issues is also understandably poor and with lots of misconceptions.

“By 2020, it is estimated that common mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, and substance abuse-related disorders, will disable more people than complications arising from HIV/AIDS, heart disease, accidents, and wars combined! This is an astonishing statistic and possesses serious questions as to why mental health disorders are not given the needed attention that it currently receives.

“A policy for mental health services delivery was developed with several key provisions of the policy, including establishing a body at the Federal Ministry of Health to focus on Mental Health issues.

“Some of the pertinent issues is how to address and dialogue with stakeholders on the burden of mental health, intimate them on the Mental Health policy, identify ways to fast-track the enactment of the Mental Health Act and modalities for resuscitating the National mental health action committee for coordinating the activities of various stakeholders on mental health and Psychosocial supports in Nigeria.”

Stan Lee who died early Monday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, was a major force behind the breakout successes of the comic-book industry in the 1960s and early ’70s, died on Monday in Los Angeles. He was 95.

His death has been confirmed by Kirk Schenck, a lawyer for Mr. Lee’s daughter, J. C. Lee. This is coming after Joan, his wife of 69 years, died in July 2017. On his own and through his work with frequent artist-writer collaborators Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko and others, Lee catapulted Marvel from a tiny venture into the world's No. 1 publisher of comic books and later a multimedia giant.

In 2009, the Walt Disney Co. bought Marvel Entertainment for $4 billion, and most of the top-grossing superhero films of all time — led by The Avengers' $1.52 billion worldwide take in 2012 — featured Marvel characters.

Nigerian singer, Original Stereoman who was seen behind the iron bars of a police cell, after he was accused of killing his girlfriend of about six years, who had a child for him, has recounted hard lessons he learnt from the incident

Original Stereoman who was discharged and acquitted after the case was taken to court, in a new chat with Saturday Beats, said he had no regrets going through the situation because it was predestined by God.

“Life is full of ups and downs. If I was told years back that I would face the kind of encounter that I faced, I would not believe it. That just shows that I do not know tomorrow and all praises go to God. I believe it was a way for me to learn because when everything is rosy, you have to check yourself.

“I would say that it has been predestined that I would face something like that. The most important thing is to get out of these situations with your head high up. As long as I am alive and I have my legs, hands and voice, I have the power to do bigger things and that is why I am not regretting what happened. I believe it is not what slowed my career down.

“I learnt a lot of things about life from that experience. I would release a song that would talk about what happened.  The relationship lasted for six years. The matter went to court and I was discharged and acquitted. I have tried my best to clear the air but rumours are still being peddled by some people and I don’t care. If you are not known, nobody will talk about you" he said. 

He also debunked claims of being in a group as believed by some members of the public. 

“I do not have a partner in the business; I am the Original Stereoman and I am the only one in the business. People you see in my video are the people that work for me; some are my dancers and some are those I want to promote because of their talents. I am not in a group. I sang the hit song, ‘Sample Ekwe,’ but the song was such a big hit that it became more popular than my stage name. I am a one-man band,” he said.

Nigeria's Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu, whose name was struck out of the list of cleared gubernatorial aspirants for APC primaries in Oyo State, has abandoned the Buhari/Osinbajo campaign office.

According to Daily Post, Adebayo Shittu closed down the South West campaign office for President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo ahead of the 2019 general elections. The Buhari/Osinbajo campaign office whose inauguration was attended by former Governor of Abia state, Chief Orji Kalu and former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, is strategically located along Mokola-Ojoo Road in the heart of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, and was meant to serve as the campaign office of Buhari and Osinbajo in the South West region, gubernatorial campaign office and Ministerial office of the embattled Minister, Shittu.

It was gathered that the banners and photographs which were earlier put up during the commissioning of the building have been removed, and the building has been offered for let after the Minister closed it.

The Buhari/Osinbajo campaign office which was commissioned on Saturday, 20 January 2018, has been deserted after it was abandoned and closed by the Minister ten months after the commissioning. Residents of Veterinary, Oke-Itunu and Mokola and other people have also taken the advantage of the compound surrounded and over grown by weeds to dump refuse.

The Minister of Communications who claimed that the house was rented to him (Shittu) by Hon. Ajibola Muraina, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, added that the fact that the rent had terminated does not mean that Shittu is abandoning campaign for Buhari/Osinbajo ticket.

Aderogba, a cousin to the Minister said:

“To start with, the building in question is not owned by Barrister Adebayo Shittu but was rented from one Barrister Hon. Ajibola Muraina, a PDP chieftain.

“Secondly, the fact that the rent was terminated is not conclusive that Barr. Shittu is abandoning campaigning for Buhari/ Osinbajo ticket as we are aware that Barr. Shittu is already making arrangements for a new and better location for coordinating campaigns for Buhari and Osinbajo’s reelection.

“Furthermore, Barrister Adebayo Shittu remains one of the most loyal, the most trusted and the most beloved ministers in the Buhari presidency."

Iranian Shi’ites who reacted to the recent clash between Nigerian Shi'ites and the Nigerian military which led to the death of members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, have threatened to overthrow Buhari.

The Iranian Shi’ites who held different placards while chanting “Free free Zakzaky”, described the Buhari-led government as a tyrannical government which they will overthrow and teach Buhari and Nigerians a good lesson.

A man who appeared like the leader of the protesters, criticized the federal government over the continued detention of El-Zakzaky.

“The judge of Nigeria ordered that Zakzaky and his members to be freed but the government didn’t listen to that and so we are calling on them to free Zakzaky,” he said.

“The government of Nigeria should know that it cannot keep Zakzaky forever in the detention and in jail, In Sha Allah, by overthrowing the tyrannical government, we will free Zakzaky and teach Nigeria and its people a good lesson.”

Following the failure of the Federal Government to respond to their demand, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has commenced a nationwide indefinite strike.

ASUU who accused the accused the government of not implementing the Memorandum of Action signed with it, added that the indefinite strike would be total as all federal and state varsities would join the strike.

The National President of the ASUU, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi who spoke to newsmen after NEC meeting, alleged that all entreaties made to the Federal Government to honour the agreement with the union fell of deaf ears and they had no other alternative but to begin the strike action.

He said, “Having waited patiently for action and meaningful negotiation with reasonable men using the principle of collective bargaining that ASUU at its NEC meeting of 3rd and 4th November 2018 at the FUTA, resolved to resume the nationwide strike action it suspended in September 2017 with immediate effect.
“This strike will be total, comprehensive and indefinite. Our members shall withdraw their services until government fully implement all outstanding issues as contained in the MOA of 2017, and concludes the renegotiation of the 2009 agreements.

A 16-year-old Nigerian girl commits suicide identified as Emeryl and also Ibukun to others, reportedly committed suicide after penning down series of suicidal post on Twitter. 

The 16-year-old Nigerian girl who talked about battling demons in tweets, was recently suspended from her secondary school after a violence scandal. She used Twitter to occasionally vent. Some of her tweets were noticed by a few of her followers but she turned down help and once said;

"This year alone, my parents have spent up to 700k on psychiatrist bills but nothing has worked, but it's Funke from the internet that's going to wave her magic wand and fix me with her friendship via DM."

It was further gathered that she was a sickle cell and schizophrenia patient, who turned on to suicide as a way out. Here are some of her tweets below;

A Nigerian lawyer, Kehinde took to Twitter to make an uncommon claim of seeing Femi Fani-Kayode's dad, Chief Remilekun Adetokunboh Fani-Kayode, in a London prison. 

According to the Nigerian lawyer, though Wikipedia says Femi Fani-Kayode's dad is dead however he saw an old 91-year-old man serving his time when he visited Belmarsh prison in London. His tweets reads;

A woman late last night allegedly killed her husband, three children and also took her own life in Makurdi, the Benue state capital.

DAILY POST gathered that the sad incident occured at their residence on Vandeikya Street in the state capital.

A source said the ugly incident may have been as a result of a misunderstanding between the couple.

It was gathered that the windshields of the vehicle belonging to her husband was also smashed.

Until his death, the husband, Nicholas Adetsav was an administrative staff of the local government service commission.

A Twitter user who reacted to our report earlier today about a lady who chronicled twisted scenarios during her boyfriend's female bestie visit, narrated how her boyfriend slept with a side chick at a party while she was looking for a charger. 

According to the lady, she walked into the room and met her boyfriend having sex with his side chick who was screaming 'where is my charger'. Read her tweet below;

They guy was just so chilled, he is like "y'all are full of drama", I'm here with all of you mos. They decided to come back and " look for the charger" So the other girl left, it was down to just us 3...and we were actually having a good laugh about the whole situation, he friend request that we call Uber for her, which was done...I don't know what happened on their way to the Uber

Governor Nasir El-Rufai has thrown out speculations that the Chairman of the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, Air Commodore Emmanuel Jekada (retd.) would emerge his running mate in the 2019 general elections, with his choice of a fellow Muslim, Hadiza Balarabe.

Confirming the choice of Hadiza Balarabe as running mate of El-Rufai, the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, said Balarabe’s choice was El-Rufai’s deliberate policy to promote women.

“There are five female commissioners in his 14-person cabinet, a feat not attained even by governors that had much larger cabinets,” he said.

Before her recent nomination, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe was the Executive Secretary of the Kaduna State Primary Health Care Development Agency. Born in 1966, Balarabe who is from Sanga Local Government Area in Southern Kaduna was also a director of Public Health in the Federal Capital Territory.

Balarabe who studied Medicine at the University of Maiduguri, Borno State, and graduated in 1988, was also a former senior registrar at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital.

Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane who got into a fight with Wizkid at Quilox in 2016, has disclosed that he has forgiven the  Starboy Records boss.

Recall that it was alleged that the fight ensued after Dammy Krane claimed that Wizkid stole the song, Baba Nla, from him after paying him a visit at home.Speaking on reconciling with Wizkid after they were pictured together this year, Dammy Krane said;

“Wizkid and I went to an event and from there we went out together. It was from there that we became friends again. I have forgiven him because it is just one song and we would still do songs together. We would still do one or two things together but you need to understand that we are all getting to different stages of our lives.”

“I believe that my songs would last for a long time; they are all evergreen songs and ten years from now, I know that you would always hear Dammy Krane’s songs like Amin and Amen.”

Also speaking on his 'beef' with Orezi over a copied hairstyle, Dammy Krane disclosed that Orezi had apologised to him.

“If you know Dammy Krane very well, you would know that I joke with a lot of things but people tend to take them seriously. I do not think we had any problems; only miscommunication. Orezi has already apologised to me because he understood that it was miscommunication. Everything that happened during that period was miscommunication,” he said.

On maintaining a relationship with Tuface since he left his record label, the singer said;

“I have a great relationship with Tuface and I have a learnt a lot from him. He is more like a mentor to me in the industry; I have learnt a lot about humility and hard work from him and he is also a God-fearing person. He taught me how to be a businessman as well.”
