The former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Timi Frank, has written an open letter to President Buhari whose government he rubbished, as he also apologised to former President Goodluck Jonathan and lamented over cases of corruption, battered economy, killings, hunger and injustice under the current administration.

Apologising to Goodluck Jonathan, Timi Frank said under Buhari's tenure “the rule of law has been replaced with the rule of force', as the current President has injected fear into the society. 

In the open letter released on Sunday in Abuja, titled: “Open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari on the state of the nation,” the APC Chieftain said the Buhari-led government has shown total disdain for court pronouncements and the enforcement of fundamental human rights of citizens.

“People who voted for you to save them from corruption and ineptitude have been barred from speaking up against the myriads of evil and wicked acts being perpetrated by officials in your government.

“Unfortunately, corruption is in the upward swing under your watch. This is why I had to apologize to Jonathan since events of the last three years have shown the former President was a better leader.

“People freely expressed themselves under Jonathan’s administration without fear of being branded cultists’ sponsors, gunrunners or aiding murderers. But not so under this administration.

“Under Jonathan, Nigerians enjoyed freedom of speech, association and right to hold dissenting views including organizing and partaking in protests against unwelcome government policies. All these are no go areas today.

“Does it mean Jonathan was a better democrat? It is a fact that no member of the APC which was then in the opposition before 2015 was jailed or harassed for expressing dissent.

“However, under this administration, the Senate President is being persecuted, Senator Dino Melaye has been arrested and detained like a common criminal, Senator Matthew Urhroghide had been attached for telling Nigerians that the Federal Government breached the Constitution by paying the sum of $496million for 12 Tucano fighter jets without National Assembly approval; the trial of Senator Isa Misau by the AGF over his face-off with the Inspector General of Police, the persecution of most members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the name of fighting corruption are all examples of intolerance under this administration.

“Mr. President, while your fight against corruption is being promoted as gathering steam leading to an award given to you by the African Union (AU) recently, the allegation of illegal award of $25billion contracts leveled against the GMD of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), has not been investigated but rather the malfeasance and shoddy dealing in the NNPC has been swept under the carpet because as the substantive Minister of Petroleum Resources any probe of the agency will require that you make some explanations.”

While urging Nigerians to wake up and face the current realities “and save Nigeria from total collapse under the jackboots of impunity by this administration,” the Bayelsa born politician also said “history will not be fair to me if I had championed the campaigns against former President Jonathan and now remain silent in the face of anti-democratic tendencies and sheer impunity.”

However reacting to the open letter, the All Progressives Congress (APC) said Timi Frank, who was suspended as its Deputy National Publicity Secretary in 2016, is no longer an important member of its fold.

Responding in a brief statement on Sunday evening, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, National Publicity Secretary of the APC, said Frank had long ceased to be an important member of the party.

“Our attention has been drawn to a report on the online newspaper, thecable.ng in which one Timi Frank was addressed as a ‘Chieftain’ of the All Progressives Congress (APC),” Abdullahi said.

“We wish to correct the wrong designation and remind the newspaper and indeed the general public that Timi Frank has since November 2016 been suspended as a member of the APC following a recommendation of an APC disciplinary committee and subsequent ratification by the Party’s South South Zonal Executive Committee.

“Hence, whatever position Timi Frank holds or canvasses is done in his personal capacity and has no bearing on the APC.”

While the status of 36-year-old Meghan Markle as a divorcee was never hidden from her husband, Prince Harry who she got married to yesterday, a Nigerian man identified as Mr. Adeola Samuel Opeyemi however still tagged her a ‘second hand woman’ in a Facebook post he made.

Mr. Adeola Samuel Opeyemi who reacted to the wedding of the couple which took place yesterday, wrote that it was not dignifying;

“For any crowned prince to choose a divorcee as his first wife in life,” referring to Meghan Markle as “second hand” wife.

However after Nigerians of both sexes rose in defence of the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, who has recently married the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, he deleted it. He however, would not allow the matter to rest, as he trolled Facebook posts that condemned his initial post.

Mallam Alee Ameen who slammed Mr. Opeyemi over the post, wrote;

“The highest form of derogation is referring to a woman as ‘second hand.

“Not only does it expose ignorance, but it also reinforces the fact that old age doesn’t automatically confer common sense on one.”

Mr. Opeyemi who never showed any sign of remorse over the call out post, replied by writing;

“Yesterday, I made a post as to royalty not well dignify for any crowned prince to chose a divorcee as his first wife in life, which I literarily refer to as "second hand" wife. See crowd on my wall like bees as if I have not made post that yesterday or day before, by this morning I counted over 250coments and counter comments especially the so called feminists.

After perusing the comments, I came to term with something that Nigerians been want they are especially our women don't like facing reality and been told the truth in plain term. That makes me to see reason why majority go after buhari statement because its the truth and nothing but the truth. I.posted about the massacre of human beings in makoko by government agents and police, only the comrades and few concerns commented even with the pathetic pics of the dead and wounded, but on a post that ordinarily I would have read and laugh they all came to expressed their sentiment expecting me to change my mind as if I didn't went to school to know that anything not new is second hand.

Anyway, I know the way Nigerians think and reasons, they always want an omelette but don't always want the eggs shell to be broken. I made my post base on conviction not how you feel or think. Earlier today, we reported that Nigeria's foremost blogger, Linda Ikeji is pregnant and expectant mother who confirmed the report, also disclosed that she is expecting a baby boy.

Penning down a post to confirm the report, Linda Ikeji said the year started with her finding out that she is pregnant. According to her, after she missed her period and did a home pregnancy test, she was driven for another lab test by a friend to confirm the pregnancy. 

She further added that even though everyone thinks DJ Khaled is obsessed with his son, Asahd, they will however get to know the definition of the word when hers arrive. Linda Ikeji also said that she has already ordered a Bentley Mulsanne, as she expects her baby. 

Her post reads; 

Did you guys read the title of this post? Should I write it again? Oh God, I can’t breath…lol. So let me say that again…I, Linda Ikeji, is going to be a mum. Somebody please pinch me! Gosh, I can’t get over it.

2018 started with me finding out I was pregnant. When I missed my period and my friend and I did a home pregnancy test and it read positive, my friend began to cry with happiness but I was just there staring at the stick like, you’re not messing with me, are you? This is real and not a joke on me, right? I refused to believe it and asked my friend to drive me to a lab for another test. And there it was confirmed, I was pregnant. Me, Linda, I am going to have my own child. Please don’t wake me up from this lovely dream..lol

So many women have had children, so what’s the big deal, huh? Lol. Well, you see me, I’m somewhat of a different case. There’s something about me that I have never talked about publicly before and that’s the fact that I love children so much (I took that from my dad), and I am particularly obsessed with babies, and I mean that literally. Their pureness, innocence, little beautiful faces, tiny hands and soft cheeks make me just want to be around them.

I grew up in a compound with a lot of neighbours and believe it or not, as a teenager/young woman, I was the unofficial resident babysitter. I swear, ask my siblings. I literally carried all the new born babies born in that compound at a period of time until they grew up to a certain age. Their mums used to come drop the babies at our house whenever they were tired or wanted to go out, this was, of course, to the annoyance of my family…lol.

The first baby I carried was a boy named Makoba (wonder where he is now, this was about 20 years ago, he will be a big boy now). From the first day I carried him, I didn’t want to let him go…so every time I had free time, and his mum hadn’t brought him to me, I would walk two floors up, knock on his family’s door and ask them if they wanted me to take the child off them for a while. I was always happy when they said yes. After him other mums started dropping their kids with me.

Back then my sisters and I used to take turns to cook every day of the week. So whenever it was my turn to cook and I was babysitting and they insisted I go cook, I’d tell my sisters to either hold the baby for me so I could go cook or they go cook. They always chose the latter. Lol.

Then my siblings started having children and I started to feel more joy. These were no longer neighbours’ or friends’ children, these were my nephews and nieces. My family! And carrying them brought me even more joy. Like for example, whenever I see my sister Laura’s son, Ryan, I shriek with happiness. He’s the love of my life…lol. If I was planning to go out and I heard my beautiful nephews and niece were coming over to the house, most times, I change plans and just stay home with them. I’m a homebody, I like to stay home (that’s why I bought a big house…lol).

So now imagine that in a few months, I will look down at a baby, and it won’t be a neighbor’s child, a friend’s child, a sister’s child, but my own child, my own flesh and blood, carried in my womb. My own son. It’s surreal. I can’t get over it.

You guys think DJ Khaled is obsessed with his son, Asahd? Wait until this one gets here. He’s not even here yet and I already ordered a Bentley Mulsanne for us. I swear! Lol. Like, I can’t keep calm. Oh and please, nannies, stay away from me. I’ve got this covered! Thank you. Lol.

Sometimes when I’m lying down and I feel him moving around inside me (he’s so hyper already, constantly moving around…lol), I just get up and cradle my tummy and smile. Lol. I can’t wait for these months to go by so I can meet him. My own son!

Dear son, of every dream I have had, every achievement, every milestone, out of all my accomplishments and titles, all the money and worldly possession I have, nothing compares to you. You are my greatest blessing, my gift from heaven, my greatest dream realized. I love you more than life itself and I can’t wait to meet you and give you so many kisses. And of course, spoil you! You will hear 'I love you' loud and clear so many times, you will beg me to stop. I can't wait to hold you in my arms. .
 

I know I’m going to be the best mum ever! I was born for this and I am finally ready! And now I want to do more, achieve more, so lil man will be proud of his mama.

Considering how much I love children, sometimes I wonder why I didn’t have them earlier. But like my dad said, miracles like this finally happen when God is ready to share you.

Anyway, as you all know, I’ve always shared every milestone, every good thing that’s happened to me over the years with you guys and I definitely wanted to also share this joy with you. I’ve been wanting to scream about this since I found out many months ago but my family and friends have been telling me to ‘calm down Linda, calm down’…lol. I’m now way into my second trimester, so I guess it’s okay to share my joy.

May God grant you what you desire the most and may all your dreams come true.

Oh, by the way, I’ll be having a baby shower in a few weeks and I will definitely love for some of you amazing, loyal female readers to come celebrate with me. Will communicate when the time comes.

The proprietor, the principal and a teacher of Metorite Standard School, Ayetoro have been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command, over the punishment they meted out to pupils who came to school late.

It was gathered that the proprietor of the school identified as Afolayan Joseph,  the principal and a teacher allegedly tied two pupils of the school to ‘crosses’, and flogged them with a horsewhip. A policeman, identified simply as Livinus, who witnessed the incident, arrested the suspects and took them to the Itele Police Station.

Narrating the incident, the policeman, who is attached to the Inspector-General of Police Monitoring Unit, said, “I was going to work this morning (Wednesday) when I saw some cars parked by the roadside.

“I discovered that it was because of some pupils that were tied to crosses. When I saw it, I parked and went to meet the proprietor of the school. I introduced myself as a policeman and told him to untie the pupils. He refused, saying there was nothing anybody could tell him that would make him release them.

“When I tried to untie the pupils, the proprietor and his teachers beat me up. Before I returned from picking handcuffs from my car, they had grabbed a friend who was with me, Omaje Iremi, and beaten him up with a horsewhip.

“I entered the school with the help of some neighbours who gathered around to arrest him, but he refused to follow me. I then called the Divisional Police Officer of the Itele Police Station and he sent some policemen to the school, who took everybody to the station.”

Confirming  the incident, Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said;

He said, “It is a barbaric incident because I don’t see any offence that a secondary school pupil will commit that will make someone to tie him or her and be flogging them in public.

“They have been arrested and will be taken to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department.

“The act is no longer a corrective measure; it is a barbaric act and it will not be allowed in this 21st century.”

The Royal Wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is on, and guests have already started arriving Windsor for the event.

Among the 600 guests who have already arrived at St George's Chapel are Oprah Winfrey, George and Amal Clooney, David and Victoria Beckham and Elton John. The ceremony will begin at noon in St George's Chapel, before the newly-married couple travel through the town.

Prince Harry has been made the Duke of Sussex by the Queen, with Ms Markle becoming the Duchess of Sussex. The prince, who is sixth in line to the throne, also received the titles Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel.

Thousands of well-wishers are arriving in Windsor, while hundreds more camped out overnight to secure the best viewing spot. Prince Charles will walk Ms Markle down the aisle, after her father, Thomas, was unable to attend for health reasons. On the eve of their wedding, Prince Harry, 33, told crowds in Windsor he was feeling "relaxed" and Ms Markle, 36, said she was feeling "wonderful".

In her vows, Ms Markle will not promise to "obey" her husband and Prince Harry has chosen to have a wedding ring. Prince Harry's ring will be a platinum band with a textured finish and Ms Markle's has been made from a piece of Welsh gold, Kensington Palace said.

Celebrity attendees include tennis star Serena Williams, TV personality James Corden, singer James Blunt, actor Carey Mulligan, rugby star Jonny Wilkinson.

Prince Harry's uncle, Earl Spencer, the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, and the Duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa Middleton, have also arrived for the service. 

Politicians, including Prime Minister Theresa May, were not invited, as the wedding is not a state event. But the former Prime Minister, Sir John Major, is among the invited guests. About 1,200 members of the public - many who are recognised for their charity work - have been invited into the grounds of Windsor Castle for the wedding.

Dr. Emmanuel Chukwuma, the Archbishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Provence, Anglican Communion, has raised an alarm over the medical bills for the burial of former Vice President, Dr Alex Ekwueme.


According to Archbishop Chukwuma, who is known as the counsellor to the Ekwueme family, the family is yet to get a refund of the 200,000 Pounds incurred as medical bills six months even after the money had been signed off. 

“A lot of things are wrong in this administration. This government is pretending to be fighting corruption but corruption is higher now than what it used to be.

” Right now, the money meant for Ekwueme’s treatment is not yet released. The hospital has returned the money but government has refused to release it back to the family. Over 200,000 pounds and so on and so forth”, he stated.

“They delayed in paying the medical bill of late Ekwueme until the family paid the bill to the London clinic.

“When the London clinic was paid by government after the family had paid, the hospital said the family had paid and returned the money to the Central Bank. Now, the money, which CBN should refund to Ekwueme’s family is now being held.

“This money has been signed out. Where is the medical bill refund released by the Central Bank of Nigeria, which was returned by London clinic? That is the question, where is it? It should be refunded to the family and if this doesn’t happen, I am going to speak more and this is going to cause serious scandal for the federal government”, Chukwuma warned.

This is coming after sources told Vanguard that the Federal Government reneged on its promise to bear the full cost of treatment and transportation of the elder statesman to a  hospital in London, and referred the issue to the Anambra State government where Ekwueme hails from.

The Catholic Church in Chile has been hit been by a sex scandal which saw the resignation of 34 Catholic Bishops in the country, after 3 days intense meetings with Pope Francis at the Vatican.

The 34 Catholic Bishops who announced their resignation on Friday over a child sex abuse scandal within the Church in Chile, also issued a statement to confirm the report.

“We, all the bishops present in Rome, have tendered our resignation to the Holy Father so that he may decide freely for each of us,” the bishops said in a statement.

“We want to ask forgiveness for the pain caused to the victims, to the Pope, to God’s people and to our country for the serious errors and omissions we have committed,” the statement continued.

Pope Francis had on Thursday promised “changes” to the Chilean church to “restore justice” in a short declaration to the bishops, made public. The resignation however came after the pontiff summoned the bishops over the scandal.

Calls had mounted for the resignations after details emerged of the contents of a 2,300-page Vatican report into the Chilean scandal leaked early Friday. Pope Francis had accused the bishops of destroying evidence of sex crimes, pressuring investigators to minimize abuse accusations and showing “grave negligence” in protecting children from pedophile priests.

The letter — handed to the bishops at the start of their meetings with Francis — evokes “crimes” and “painful and shameful sexual abuse of minors, abuses of power and conscience by ministers of the Church”.

It qualifies the removal of certain prelates from their roles as necessary but “insufficient,” calling for “the roots” that allowed for such abuse within an “elitist and authoritarian” Chilean Church to be examined.

The mass resignation of an entire delegation of bishops is almost unheard of, having last happened two centuries ago.

The Chilean church has been rocked by the allegations of abuse by Karadima and others, and by claims that senior figures knew about or even witnessed what was going on. Now 87 and living in a nursing home in Chile, Karadima has always denied the allegations.

Though getting kids to spell words correctly might be one of the foundations of impacting knowledge, however a Nigerian school located in Owerri has just caught our attention and that of our reader with the school's name spelling. 

Though the lailasnews reader who sent in the story commended the effort of the management to set up a school for special needs children, however she also noted that it is also embarrassing for the school identified as  Allenbryan Primary and Special school, located along Port - Harcourt Road in Owerri (Imo State), to have their own name wrongly spelt. 

Her mail reads; 

Please call the attention of the management of this school to correct the spelling of their name. It is quite embarrassing that a school will have their own name wrongly spelt.
I understand it is a new school. I drove past there this afternoon and i decided to take a picture. 
The school is along Port - Harcourt Road in Owerri (Imo State) and it is for both regular children and for children with special needs.

I guess the right Spelling is Allenbryan Primary and Special school. 

In as much as i commend the effort of the management to set up a school for special needs children. I think it is also embarrassing to have their own name wrongly spelt. 
A school should be the last place such careless mistakes should be made.
Finally, I do not understand what their motto is all about. Is it a french phrase? Spanish or Latin? Someone explain please.

The family of a 3-year-old Kenyan girl, Dorcas Chepchumba, who had 7 needles lodged in her stomach, can now heave a sigh of relief, as doctors Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) in Eldoret successfully removed the harmful metals, and further disclosed that she is now in a stable condition and responding to treatment. 

The needles in the girl's stomach was discovered on Thursday, May 3, by doctors at Kapenguria Referral Hospital shortly after she was rushed to the facility after falling ill. Her grandfather, John Chepkokei, who spoke to newsmen said they do not understand how the needles got into the minor’s stomach.

It was gathered that the mother of Dorcas Chepchumba ran away after the baby fell ill and got married to another man, leaving the baby in the custody of her parents.

"The mother escaped because the child was sickly. She is now married to someone else. We used to give her pain killers and we took her to Center Kwanza Dispensary.We are stranded and we don’t know where to start from,” said grandfather, John Chepkokei Ling’aa. 

According to x-ray scan images, five tiny metals were lodged the abdomen while two others were sandwiched between tissues on her back.  Her grandparents said they had initially thought the baby had been bewitched as she was staying with her mother and step-father, before they started taking care of her. Her grandmother said Chepchumba started complaining of abdominal pain, cough and fever and had been receiving medication at the facility for two days before the needles were discovered. 
“Chepchumba was born well in a hospital. She has been with her mother but when she started being sickly, the mother ran away. I was left to take care of her. We thought that she was bewitched because the child doesn’t belong to the family where my daughter is married," Chepkokei said.

Contrary to claims of burning her daughters home after she married a Christian, Senator Binta's father, Tumba Garba, who sat for an interview with Punch, said he gave his daughter blessing on the day she chose to marry a Christian.

Recall that Senator Binta had in April narrated during her 50th birthday how her properties were set ablaze by her father after she became a Christian while she was in primary school.

“My father was infuriated and he burnt everything I had because of my decision to follow Christ. I suffered so much because of the name of Jesus. I would have been nothing if not for His grace,” she had stated.

Tumba, a 104-year-old retired military corporal, who noted that that his family had nothing against his daughter on Thursday, added that his family was a tolerant one which never discriminated against any religion. Tumba said that was why he allowed his children to practice any religion that they wanted.

Speaking in Tudun Wada, Michika when he met with the leadership of the Muslim Council from Adamawa North Senatorial zone, teary Senator Binta's father told the gathering that Binta never intended to insult Islam when she converted to Christianity. It was gathered that the meeting was to set the records straight

He said, “My father was a Christian and I converted to Islam. So, when Binta wanted to marry a Christian, I gave her my blessing.”

He also said that the happiest day of his life was the day his daughter took him to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari, stating that he had tried in time past to meet with the President when he became a military ruler.

Following the meeting, Binta told journalists that she was glad that her father had come to assure the Muslim community that the earlier remark attributed to her wasn’t true. She also called on her political opponents to judge her based on stewardship rather than religious sentiment.

A Cardinal of the Catholic Church and the Metropolitan Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, John Onaiyekan who reacted to the recent killing of two catholic priests in Benue State, slammed security agencies, who he said have been watching as herdsmen slaughter innocent citizens of the country even in their worship places.

Cardinal Onaiyekan, who maintained that living in peace was less expensive than going to war, however insisted that the people would not continue to fold their hands and die on a daily basis. According to him in the interview with Sun, priests in Benue State may be forced to pick up arms and defend themselves against being killed by rampaging herdsmen.

“They have not done so. That is not our way and I don’t think they will. And I am hoping that we have not reached that stage yet. But you could reach that stage.

“Yesterday, they killed us, the next day, they killed us, the policemen are around and they have done nothing. And the police are given guns and they don’t use them.

“The Army comes and moves around and nothing happens. They are not going to wait for me to tell them what to do. They don’t want that to continue and all we have been telling government is please, don’t push people too far.

“It is not possible to tell us that Nigeria is unable to secure our territory. We cannot believe it, to tell us that it is beyond the possibility of the police; that the whole Nigerian Army with the billion naira and the billion dollars budgets that we are spending; they still can’t keep us safe.

“And they want me to believe that? We can’t believe it, which is why we are saying no, there is something seriously wrong which must be addressed quickly because at the end of the day, everybody is going to suffer.

“As you know, most of us, at least, are pleading that we live in peace with one another because living in peace is less expensive than going to war. Also, when you go to war, who wins?

 “Whoever is stronger wins, not who is right. The Pope used to say that we must replace the right of force with the force of right. That is where we are now. Don’t forget that somebody (Gen. TY Danjuma) who ought to know did make a statement about get ready to defend yourselves.
“And he should know what he is talking about. And he clearly accused government of collusion. That is serious.

Earlier today, and Instagram user @Kingadenike took to the platform to reel out a 'dirty secret' about Cee-C's family. The Instagram user who begged Nigerians not to blame Cee-C for being so angry, Cee-C's father abandoned her mother when she was very sick, and instead went ahead to marry his secretary.

Former Vice President Abubakar Atiku’s son, Aminu, who is engrossed in a fresh legal custody battle with his estranged wife, Fatima Bolori, has dragged his wife to an Igbosere High Court in Lagos, where he asked the court to upturn a magistrates’ court’s decision which awarded the custody of his two children to Fatima, as well as a N250,000 monthly upkeep.

Recall that on January 10, Magistrate Kikelomo Ayeye sitting at Tinubu on Lagos Island awarded full custody of the ex-couple’s daughter, Ameera, 11, and son, Aamir, 7, to Fatima, after Aminu failed to file a response to Fatima’s application for the children’s custody.

Aminu's counsel, Oyinkan Badejo, who filed an application to the high court seeking leave to appeal the lower court’s judgment and another application for a stay of further execution of its terms, claimed that the lower court disregarded his constitutional right of fair hearing before granting judgment in Fatima’s favour.

Badejo said, “In response to whether the applicant has shown sufficient grounds for the grant of the application, there is not more sufficient ground than the party’s right to fair hearing.

“We arrived at the magistrates’ court at 12.30 p.m., believing the matter was for mention at 1.00 p.m.”

Badejo also urged the court to vary the conditions attached to the custody order, which directed Aminu to pay his ex-wife N250,000 monthly for the upkeep of the children, beginning from January, and also carry out medical insurance on each child, among others.

“We are not seeking a stay of the execution of the judgment but some of the terms were onerous.

“We were asked to pay N250,000 for the upkeep of two young children and medical allowances. We find that rather onerous" counsel to Atiku's son concluded.

However the move was opposed by Fatima’s counsel, Mr. O. N. Olabisi and Mr. Ethel Okoh, as NAN gathered that the case was adjourned until May 17 and June 14.

Superstar Nigerian born British actor, John Boyega, has finally reacted to Toke Makinwa's rant about getting assaulted by one of his bodyguards.

Recall that Toke Makinwa had claimed to have been assaulted at a restaurant, Crossroads, in Lagos by one of John Boyega's bodyguards.

The media personality who appeared angry over the incident, took to her Instagram page on Thursday, January 4, 2017, where she wrote a really detailed account of what happened at the said restaurant which is situated in the premises of Eko Hotel and Suites.

According to her, even though she had an early flight to catch, she wanted to make clear her experience in the hands of the bodyguard to Hollywood actor, John Boyega. She feels that if she was a guy, she wouldn't have been treated in such manner.

Toke went on to write about how she was not only embarrassed, but also prevented from being served in the restaurant until John Boyega came in and the bodyguard gave the management the go-ahead.

Nollywood actress and film maker, Omoni Oboli has suffered a backlash from many social media user, who slammed her for supporting a friend and artificial hair seller @Mizwanneka, who reportedly wished death upon and her client identified as Mrs Anulika Ayesha.

In a post which served as an apology to Mrs Anulika Ayesha, @Mizwanneka wrote;

I hereby tender an unreserved apology to Mrs Anulika Ayesha and every of my customers, followers, admirers and everyone else who believes in me and my brand who I have offended. The exchange of words was uncalled for and I take responsibility for the choice of words used as they were truly hurtful.

I go the extra mile to try to please my customers and ensure that they are satisfied so much so that I stretch myself to the limit. So it hurts when after everything that goes down behind the scenes, some people still come and condemn your efforts. I am human and susceptible to certain provocations especially when I know I put my all into my business.
