GPU is only 6 core and that is an improvement on the previous 4 core but a long way off Samsung 8 and 16 core that have been around for years making multitasking a breeze and gaming top notch. Apple still have not worked out that battery efficiency can be gained by spreading the load over multiple cores either. The manufacturing is more complex it is true but the gains are worth the cost.

this is why ive never fancied anything Apple

I do not understand your assertion, because your assertion is not related to the topic.

You were gloating over the fact that the major parties all have governors in the south east so that means that they are not tribalist as if those governors are not Igbos.

My point is this, in the last general elections, of all the the ethnic groups that had candidate vying for the president, only the igbos gave their block votes to Obi, to the point that even the ones not domiciled in the southeast were still carrying obi matter for head as if their lives depended on it.

Even the north that we all thought will go one way, proved to us that they are truly Democrats by splitting their votes, southwest also did the same, even south south showed that they are no longer naive, only the Igbos and the south east went one way by voting for a fellow Igbo man.

So I ask you again who's the tribalist? Is it the Yorubas who voted for both Obi and Atiku (lagos and Osun) or the Igbos who gave over 98% of their votes to their tribes man.

What has having different governors from different parties got to do with this discussion? Unless of course you want to tell me that the governors are not Igbos, if not your point is baseless

I'm disappointed you could only name one, however, for the sake of this argument I will accept the lonely Zack Orji in the Tinubu's camp.

My question now is was this same zack Orji not demonised for his support of Tinubu? You people even called him a cheap and broke man who was supporting Tinubu because of money.

So if the igbos did this to Zack why didn't you call them tribalist? But now that the Yorubas are calling out their own àkòtìleta( betrayals) you suddenly grow some balls and are calling them tribalist? Na wa for you o

If you can list a good number of Igbo celebrities that are supporting Tinubu or Atiku the same way some of the Yorubas celebrities the guy mentioned supported Obi then you would be right.

But in a situation where all igbos both online and offline are supporting obi and not PDP or APC I think its clear for everyone to see who is more tribalistic

It's not everything that is meant to be a dick measuring competition, the op never mentioned that Yoruba boys were taking over Igbo girls, he merely stated that it was a trend but you had to see it as a competition.

By the way, there's nothing to be proud about sleeping with a married woman, Yoruba or not.

By the time we spill out our tales with yoruba ladies, internet will not contain the wailings of yorubas who will accuse igbos of not just taking over yoruba land but using their women unjustly ,mostly married and still cheating on their husbands. A stitch in time will save many hearts .

I respect Igbos who respect the women of their host by not opening such topics.

Your inferiority complex really stinks, so in your wasp mentality Achebe won the commonwealth prize because he deserved it, but Soyinka winning the Nobel prize was because of the hatred for Achebe's deeds in exposing Western hypocrisy? You really need to grow up from this your childish and victim mentality.

For the records, Achebe cannot lace Soyinka's boots when it comes to poetry and essay writing, and in terms of novel writing, I maintain my earlier stand that Achebe's style of writing is one way and yes I've read most of his books. So it's only in Biafra land that Achebe pulls weight, put both of them on a global scale and Soyinka will dust him off any day anytime.

The fact that more people can connect with the various books of James Hadley Chase doesn't mean he's at par with the legendary Williams Shakespeare.

Achebe is like James Hadley Chase while Soyinka is like Shakespeare. I know that you don't know the difference. All Achebe's book is one way which is storytelling while Soyinka is more diverse in different fields of writing which includes but not limited to playwright, novelist, poet, and essay writing. I won't indulge you by naming his various works because I know that it's beyond your mental capacity, but do me a favour and read up on why he won a Nobel prize with the same works that your ignoramus self failed to understand

Do you just argue for the sake of it, or to exchange ideas? As for your question, Yes the Igbos once they notice they are the majority in an area, takes advantage of this and look for one person probably the richest among them and crown him their Eze.

This is done without the imput of the real king ( who is the real custodian of the people's culture) of the land, take for instance in Lagos, before the Hausa's install a sarkin Hausawa, they will meet with the king of the land and seek his permission and blessings, and this new sarkin Hausawa will automatically become a vasal of the real oba for the hausa community. But in the case of the Igbos they will just wake up and crown themselves king.

I guess the turbaning ceremony part was lost on you. Kano is an Emirates hence the term turbaning and not crowning, and just so you know the Oba of Yorubas will be turbaned by the emir of the Emirates meaning that he will be loyal to the Emirates while representing the Yorubas.

Now can you compare this to the ones the igbos do in other people's land?

How can you ask that Buhari who was duly constitutionally elected president to serve a constitutional 4 years term to remain in office beyond the 4 years just because an election Is being disputed? Is it too much for your coconut brain to fathom that same way Obi reclaimed his mandate as governor of Anambara State from the person that was already sworn in, he can also reclaim his mandate from Tinubu even after swearing in? Why are you and your ilks making a fool of yourself just because of hatred for Tinubu?

Politics / Re: Why Are Nigerians Calling Yoruba Betrayals by lexyking(m): 10:50pm On Mar 22, 2023
Relax! I never said giving block vote is bad, I merely reacted to your assertion that Yorubas are tribal bigots. I'm glad you didn't dispute the fact that only the Yorubas practice actual democracy where each individual is allowed to make their political choice without fear or threat.

I challenge you to name one instance where the Igbos have voted on the basis of personal conviction like the Yorubas have always voted, in 2015 even with Osibanjo on the ticket of the APC, the PDP still got considerable votes from the south west, same goes for the 2019 elections. Even the just concluded elections, obi won Tinubu in Lagos Atiku won Tinubu in Osun state, but we all saw the margins with which Obi won in the south east.

So my question to you is how could you term the Yorubas bigots when they are indeed the only region that has been politically libral.

Upton:

You talk about:
vote pattern: We all know the northerners give bloc votes: Inshort your Emi Lokan chose a northern Muslim because the northerners will not vote for a ticket that doesn’t contain a northern-Muslim. PDP gave their presidential ticket to a northerner in order to secure this bloc votes from the north. You don’t have problem with that. Even Tinubu called picking a Muslim running mate political calculation when in fact he was battling Atiku for the North’s bloc vote. But it becomes a problem for you when the Easterners do the same thing and give block votes to a candidate. Don’t you see that you are the hypocrite?

Don’t make it a matter of Peter Obi - Easterners have been voting in bloc since 1999. It didn’t start with Obi. They gave bloc votes to a Fulani man in 2019, bloc votes to an Ijaw man in 2011 and 2015, bloc votes to a Fulani man in 2007. Why is it now a problem in 2023? Oh it is a problem because they are Igbos and not northern muslims.

It's like the ibos finally realising they need to leave yoruba and align with the North. Expect that in 2027. Imagine a PO and kwankwaso pally. The ibos learnt.
Politics / Re: Why Are Nigerians Calling Yoruba Betrayals by lexyking(m): 9:43pm On Mar 22, 2023
If Yorubas are tribal bigot, what are the igbos? You're such a hypocrite, if not how can you call the Yorubas bigot when indeed their votes pattern reflects that they voted on the basis of individual choices rather than as a ethnic group like the igbos voted.

Check the percentage of the votes Obi got from the south east and from the Igbos who reside out of the south east and see if indeed they voted based on merit or rather based on tribal sentiments, what happened in lagos was disgraceful no doubt, but a times such drastic methods needs to be taken to make a point, if not how can the Igbos expect the majority of Yorubas to vote out a performing governor like Sanwo olu for one I T architect who has never managed or hold any senior position in his life. This was inspite of majority of the lagosian Yorubas voting for obi at the presidential level o.

Until Christ returns, I would never understand why the Igbos would prefer An inexperienced GRV to a more experienced Sanwo olu who clearly performed and exceeded all expectations.

Upton:
Lol. Nobody is calling Yorubas betrayals. The topic is a click bait. How can people call them betrayals when there was never an alignment. The only thing the Yorubas showed us this election is that the average Yoruba person is a tribal bigot. They just like to mask it.

This is what emotion can do to a mam, no matter how brilliant you are, if you let your actions and thinking be ruled by emotions, you're bound to look stupid.

How can a senior advocate of Nigeria be so silly to the point of forgetting simple kindergarten lessons?

Since from primary school, we've been taught that we have 36 state and the FCT, never have I heard 37 state, this is because the FCT have never been taken as a state but rather a municipal. But because of elections now some people are trying to twist what should be a straightforward English statement into a legal battle.

Besides there's also a big grammatical difference between 24 state, and the FCT and 24 state and the FCT that coma there serves a purpose just like the taught us in primary school that we have 36 state and the FCT, this was what the writers of the constitution had in mind, but the obedients mob wants to take off the coma and make it a whole sentence.

As for the lawyers going with this argument, I can't blame them much because they must be seen to be doing something plus they have to build their case around a point. If not how would they convince OBI to release funds for court case?

From your posts that I have seen so far, it's clear you're an Igbo person masquerading as a non Igbo from the south south. If not how can you be comparing how Igbos are perceived in south south to how they are treated in south west? The Yorubas are the owners of south west, while the south south has no single ethnic group that can lay claim to being the absolute majority, so the Igbos can flex muscles there without being challenged, but you don't expect the Yorubas who are not only the owners of south west but are also one of the three major tribes to look the other way when and if they feel that others are encroaching on their land and culture.
