Just imagine! Even with the high rate of Coronavirus cases in their state.

Truth is; Lagos is arguably the state with the most insane, ignorant and careless people in the world. When it comes to civility, comportment and courteousness, 90% of Lagosians cannot cope in sane and calm cities like Abuja, PH, Owerri, Asaba and some Northern cities.

Very anyhow set of rascal people quick to form porsh hiding under the slogan "I dey Lag".

Smh! To an extent, people living in Onitsha and Aba are way more civilized, careful and comported than them when it comes to security and health.
Did you just list PH among the cities that are calm?

And gradually though, nobody remembers exactly how it happened, the unthinkable becomes tolerable. and then accepted. and then legal. and then applaudable.
Africa is gradually sliding into perversion. where things that were once inconceivable are becoming the norm.

ask yourself if any African was really born a gay or lesbian.
PoliticsA Message To The South by lexyking(op): 7:39am On May 03, 2020
Socrates, was by far one the most important philosophers. however, he wrote no works of his own;therefore we come to know about Socrates 'life and teachings through his student and friend Plato.

towards the end of Socrates life, we come to know the phrase that "an unexamined life is not worth living". Socrates believed that the purpose of life was to grow spiritually and philosophically; he argued that it was important to question and "examine" your values and beliefs in order to determine if they were the correct ones.

Nigeria, from inception has always had one problem. how to balance power between the more educated and sophisticated south, and the more religious and feudalistic north. the north with his population and political maneuvers has ruled the country more than the south whose resources both natural and human is what makes Nigeria rich. therein lies our problem.

while the south's three regions with all there resources and educated population are busy fighting each other for a matter we can't even remember, the north is busy exploiting our egos and foolishness to divide and conquer us.

I think it's time that the south examines its Values and beliefs so as to determine if it's the correct one. for how long shall we continue in this useless fight for supremacy, how long shall we continue in our dick measuring contest while the north keeps dragging us backwards. let us unite for once, let our shared educational knowledge be a uniting factor, let us enjoy the bliss of our cultural diversity instead of letting it to divide us.

please note that I'm not in any way blaming the north alone for the problems facing Nigeria. my point is that the south has not really risen up to face the challenge, we have never ever took a stand for Nigeria all what we've always done is compet amongst ourselves for the North's favors.

I hope to see a day when the south will see themselves as one irrespective of where in the south you hail from, let us leave stop judging ourselves based on the actions of our past leaders. I mean why should we judge and relate with ourselves based on what Awolowo and Azikiwe did or did not do to themselves 50 years ago. let us learn to always stand to support what's good and criticize what's not.

egalitarianism:
Nonsense permutations. NEVER will Igbo be president of Nigeria. You can't hate/criticize bitterly my tribe and Faith and expect me to vote you. NEVER
Even your mod shows that behavior on NL. NEVER
so because of the criticism of a few misguided ones you are willing to hate an entire tribe?

I'm not Igbo so don't think I'm defending them, but one thing I know is that every tribe has got their own share of stupid fellows, and it is wrong to view the entire tribe from the prism of a few foolish ones

when it comes to the choices we make, life is definitely black and white . its either you choose to do the right thing or you dont, there's no sitting on the fence.

and in this case I said and I will repeat it that if she knowingly and willingly accepted to date a cultist, then she deserves whatever the cultist got my only sympathy is to the parents

I think the bolded is a very callous thing to say bro. Maybe her boyfriend, but definitely not she.
how so? except if you can convince me that she didn't know that her boyfriend is a cultist and a Yahoo boy. one thing that is common with these girls that follow cultists is their tendencies to always insult and bully people then threaten them with their boyfriends. so as far as I'm concerned any girl that knowingly gets involved with a cultist deserves whatever the cultist gets

I don't know much but I think nation building is not fanciful stories like everything that we're painting here. People really think a part of Nigeria is the problem and so when you cut it out, the problem ceases to exist but I'm imagining what Mandela would think in his grave when he sees the lifestyle of most black South Africans. If we all have the attitudes we have as Nigerians, we shouldn't expect anything to change soon just because our country has split Nigeria is not the problem, it's the people there. More so, new unprecedented challenges will arise and since we've found it difficult to build Nigeria with discipline and dedication, majority will give up their newly formed country easily and go again looking for succor outside. Everything here is fantasy and thus it will remain. The reality might be scarier than you think. Or do you think we'll manufacture ideal leaders to govern those new states?
May God bless your soul for this wonderful assertion. If just 20% of Nigerians reason along this line, I can guarantee that half our problems will be solved

Landlock, yet you all want them to remain in this unserious Nigeria, just let them go so that hunger will finish them since you all forgot that necessity is the mother of invention
Oga no one is stopping anyone from going. The greatest tragedy that can befall a man is to blame others for his misfortunes.
Let met me ask you this rhetorical questions,
1: has any of your elected leaders ever even remotely demand for a secession?
2: have they been any binding political consensus among the Igbo leaders on the need to leave Nigeria?
3: has majority of the igbos seriously and vigorously made any demands on there leaders to initiate the move to secede?

Now can you honestly answer yes to any of this questions?

The most that has been done is by people like Nnamdi kanu and Asari dokubo, people who have no moral or legal rights to speak for the generality of the Igbo race.

MY LAWYERS HAS GOT THEMSELVES A LOT OF WORK TO DO BY MONDAY!!

***ALMAJIRI LIFE MATTER***[/quote

It would be interesting to know what legal argument your lawyers will make against this action. Yes I understand your compassion for the kids, but you need to understand that by sending this children to there home state the governor has done the best thing expected of him.
First by this action the governor will reunite the children with their parents. Also you need to understand that every state in Nigeria has got their own social and humanitarian problems to deal with, so its unfair for some state to just be exporting children who have no economic benefits of any kind to other states.
Let's face it no where in the world, not even in the United states or Europe will this be tolerated. So if you're really serious about getting lawyers to fight this, I would rather suggest you donate the funds of the legal fees to your hashtag #almajiri life MATTER***

I will never forget my ordeal with one emere girl like that. I fell for this girl from the moment I saw her, she is so beautiful and curvy in fact everything about her was perfect.
Although she's from Edo state, she grew up in Lagos so she's more Yoruba than Edo in fact she doesn't tell anyone she's from Edo state. And me that my mother has been disturbing me to bring home a decent Yoruba girl, after wooing her which I must I admit was no small feat because it took me almost 8 month to convince this girl to trust me enough to come to my house and another 3-4 month before we did the Do.

But it was worth the stress cos she was everything I had hoped she would be. The problem is I didn't have marriage on my plans I just wanted babies so that my mum can have her grandchildren and let me rest.
And in my mind I knew I couldn't find a better babymama. We dated for about a year then she took in,Gbam!! That was where the bubble burst o she said it's time to meet her parent and discuss marriage plans me I said I'm not ready for marriage o, she then made me understand that she can't and won't give birth out of wedlock.

I then told her that me no wan marry o. The next thing she said and I quote is ' thank God you still have a mother and I can see she's a spiritual person ask her to find out who I am' on hearing this and being a Yoruba boy I knew I was in trouble I just kuku left her place and called my mum sharp sparp . She said she would make enquiries and get back to me.
Later that day my mum called and told me that the girl is a MAMA o (iya agba) that hope I have not said anything provocative to her I said no then my mum asked for her number and helped me to pacify her. She agreed to terminate the pregnancy since I wasn't going to marry her.
Although to be sincere I got so many unwarranted favours during my courtship with her

Let south south people speak for themselves, must u attach them to everything you do?
I tire for the way some of these folks reason, they are the only region that lacks the boldness to speak or make threats alone, they will always find a way to drag south south with them. but one thing that I'm certain of is that the majority of South South folks can see beneath the fake love exhibited by them cos even the Jonathan presidency wouldn't have been possible without the support of South West

[quote author=NACE13 post=88821759]Bro, calm down. There is a level you get to in a relationship the female will ask for it and even beg you for it

My ex back then in school once begged me a day before I was to sit for an exam and I had to study hard but she was super hot. She even promised to prepare my favourite dish
Another happened when I was down with malaria symptoms; she came to check up on me but still don't understand how or why she became super hot but she had to respect herself after I turned her request

you're absolutely right. I've dated girls that were never shy in asking for it whenever they are in the mood. but the key is how you as a guy treat and relate with them, if you're the uptight kind of guy who believes that it should always be your call, then that's what you will get cos even if she's in the mood she will just keep it to herself just so that you don't call her names.
But if you treat her well and make her understand that it's cool to be vulnerable and that you're never gonna judge her if she shows you her freaky side, trust me you will be shocked at the level of freaky-freaky things that these girls have in store for.
I've date different girls who were never shy in asking for it, one experience in particular that I will never forget was the day my then girlfriend raped me(laughs)
anyways that's a story for another day. and yes I did enjoy the rape that I decided to take over in the middle of the rape action lol
