sheyions: first pay ur fees.... then get who ever u are staying with in canada to provide his rental or morgage bills and agreement, Resident documents, utility bills, payslip or letter of introduction from his employer, and he should write also, addressing it to the CHDC, of his awareness of your study and duration in canada, his aggreement for u to stay with him, stating all conditions, ensure he states his phone number and email address.

all these, and a written explaination from you that you wish to stay with someone giving reasons and receipt of payment be sent to the embassy


act fast as they can conclude even before ur deadline

medicals. I told him about my frustration in
getting my tuition wired and He offered to help.
my banks had all failed me and I knew CAHC
does not entertain excuses. To cut it short,I went
to his( TRV_IJN) bank. He helped me with the payment and even added about 75,000naira for
me Cos my money wasn't enough. Chuks(not
real name) I just want you to know you are a
great guy and when I grow up I want to be like
you *big grin* thanks man...God bless you[b][/b]

Olami1224: Thanks, i did that since 2nd Nov, and submitted it at the Gate at the embassy, i was called lastweek monday that they have not received it, they had to ask me agian so i'm kinda confused.

newmusic: People should take note that credit card is different from debit card.

You can pay via phone or online with your credit card, it's the easiest and fastest means, I have not used debit card for online payment, only at the location of transaction (POS).

Banks that issue credit card without much hassles are FCMB and GTB, however they will ask you to open a domm account which you will transfer money to the cc from. The whole process will take about 3 weeks to open domm and cc together.

So except you know someone who can help you about the payment ie who has cc,domm or other means cause of time.
You can also make bank transfer, quite slow and expensive, commission and percentage etc...

dealexad: my advice: Get a return ticket, you could be turned back at the airport for not getting a return ticket (as you are expected to be back to nigeria). a friend of mine who travelled last december had this issue and hwd to by a return ticket right there at the airport before he was allowed to even check in.

I got into this situation... In the past 2006, i applied for a vistor's visa to the US but it was denied. In 2007 , I applied again and got 1 year visa, went to the u.s, spent 6 months over there never over stayed and came back home. i decided to take a trip to belize in 2009 for a visit went to belize and decided to apply for a U.S student visa was denied and the reason was you were unable to demonstrate sufficiently strong economic , educational, family and or social linkages to belize that would compel you to return after your travel to the united states.. and i agree with that cuz i was only on a one month visitor's visa when i applied at that time but now I'M resident of this country and have all ties that links me to this place, But My Question I have a new passport now and I have decided to apply for college in canada , In the BACKGROUND INFORMATION "Have you ever been refused a visa, admission, or ordered to leave Canada or other countries? how should i answer this cause im worried if l answer with a yes i might be refused my study permit.. !? what do y'all suggest i do.. !? i need everyone thought on this..! plz sha! what advice do you have for brother oh ! P.S i have good travel history and never over stayed or got into any trouble, or over stayed my visa for any country!

Hello All,
This would be my second post on this forum.Just wanted to share my goodnews.I got my TRV today.I applied for a study permit on May 30th,2012.I was called for medicals August 14th, 2012 with conditions to pay tuition and accommodation and was given 30days.Due to a mix up in the letter they sent to me,which I didn't understand.I asked for clarification and paid partial tuition fee.Submitted on September 19th, 2012 my partial tuition payment telex. Got a call from the embassy on the 20th asking I pay the full tuition and accommodation and was given another 30days and asked to get a new start date since I was to begin my program in September.With regards accommodation I told the embassy staff that called me I wasn't going to pay for accommodation for one year.The story is on my first post.So they asked I present at least a guest agreement.I made the complete tuition payment and then made a hotel reservation, new start date and submitted on the 29th of October,2012.My Visa was approved on the 30th of October, 2012.I Thank God for the long journey.It was worth the wait.
