All parties trying to blackmail the judiciary. Good thing is that the learned judges will not base their judgement on social media emotion laddened opinions but on the facts laid bare before them. This time around, we hope technicalities won't be the deciding factor. |
It's immoral for government to seek to exploit job seekers in any form. One would have thought the era of such scam has gone with certain government. It's nothing but food for the boys as I don't understand how much the government intends to realize from the exercise to warrant subjecting itself to public tongue lashes |
It isn't going to be easy to fight a bunch of local, angry and misguided mobs with tactic government support. Compatriots should know when to fight and when to retreat to fight another day. Seek safety first and pressure the government fight on your behalf. On no account should a Nigerian soul be lost to this same xenophobic attacks again. |
The Air Peace plane should be at Johannesburg by now. There isn't any reason a Nigerian soul should be lost on this account again. |
Paying salary is the least of the duties of a Governor and shouldn't have been a rocket science so much that it would be a campaign point. Except PMB isn't aware of the salary and pension situation in Kogi, it is hard to marry this statement with the 4+4 sign with Bello last week |
IPOB appears to be the only thing these South East governors and leaders fear. The group should leverage on their current position to demand optimal performance from these leaders. Demand accountability and prudence from them or else they be invited for Compulsory 'Yam Festivals' abroad. |
When the government couldn't even successfully boycott the WEF in SA. What could we have done to SA to make her President jump on the next available plane to Nigeria? What economic advantage do we have over them? When OBJ once closed the Border against Benin Republic, their President had to plead because Nigeria gives oxygen to their economy. Can we say the same thing about SA? |
Well, let's see how far this boycott (if any) can last. God bless Nigeria |
The party really has no choice than to unite them against a common enemy. Even APC seems to be forging a common front. With his 70 votes, Dino will only be compounding his woes should he attempt to become an obstacle in the party wheels. |
Which trouble? Something that will soon be overtaken by another burning issue that will divert our attention. |
There demands will be met. Their commanders in detention will be set free and soon they will start a new wave of criminality. What then is the motivation for a security personnel to risk his life in trying to apprehend these terrorists when they will still be pampered like heroes by the government. How about their victims who have lost properties and relations? They should go to hell? |
There's always an obscure line between strength and brutality |
Anyone who is conversant with the travails of women in the hands of LAPO and other avenues where the seek credit would appreciate this gesture from the government. Except the money is from his personal pocket, I don't think the scheme carrying his name is appropriate. |
See lack of coordination. A Governor already denied attending the WEF and that he is South Africa for another event entirely. Even if they have been there before the decision to boycott the program was taken, what stops them from taking the next available flight to Nigeria in solidarity? |
While the party asked Nigerians to boycott all South African goods and businesses, APC accused the African National Congress ANC administration in South Africa of backing the killings of Nigerians, querying why it has been so difficult to arrest and sentence perpetrators of xenophobic attacks in the country. When it is convenient, they are quick to tell us no Nigerian was killed. |
I once saw a video where Hon Malema was ejected from the parliament in South Africa for accusing Hon Ramaphosa (then a member of the parliament) of being a murderer Guess who the current president is |
Ok |
These are people that have taken arms against the Nation, they have kidnapped, maimed and killed scores of their kinsmen. These are people that duly deserve the tag of terrorists. But next is to rehabilitate them, compensate them and renitegrate back into the community and possible recruitment into the Police or Army or any other security outfit. Then the circle continues. God Bless Nigeria. |
They really need not go to Nuremberg. Their kinsmen here in Nigeria are capable enough to organize a special 'yam festival' for them upon arrival. |
Ok |
These aren't the best of times for him. He lost at the tribunal He lost the primary Hope he won't lose his leg too. Be strong, Distinguished. |
Obby will need a lot of PRs to be able to wriggle out of this WEF mess. This explanation will make sense probably to herself only. |
Should we now call this one a yahoo yahoo government? |
This is avoidable. This isn't the way to go We aren't barbarians like some people |
If only NTEL wasn't a stillbirth, Nigerians wouldn't have been at the mercy of these foreign operators. |
Ogun State public secondary education was never free in the real sense of it as against the Free Education the previous government would want us believe. Students pay all sundry of fees including WAEC fees. The rot in primary and secondary education in the state is immense and it requires all hands on deck to make it work again and if it requires a little commitment from the parents /guardians, so be it. The painful thing is just that these same people that enjoyed Free Education in the good days of old are the ones making it impossible for others to enjoy it now. Personally, I belief that if we set our priorities right and curb wastages, qualitative free and compulsory education is possible for pupils and students in primary and secondary schools. |
There will always be consequences, even for not taking actions at all. Nigeria just have to do something drastic now that will send signals to SA and any other countries of the world that might want to treat her citizens as worthless beings that could be mobbed and killed at the slightest provocation. |
Harlem2:It appears you cannot link the travails of the beaded Obas in Ibadan after Ajimobi's exit to the possible fate of Ganduje's Emirs when he eventually leaves office. Hope you are able to find the sense you're looking for. |
It appears Gov Ganduje will have to remain governor forever for his new emirs to remain relevant. |
Bitter truth. But then we can still do some shakara to shake the SA government |
Are the South Africans expecting the remainders of their victims to just surrender and be lynched? Since both governments seems complacent, men have to protect themselves however they can. |
There will not be a single South African in that office. The battle isn't for Nigerians, it isn't a street battle. The battle is for the Nigeria Government on behalf of Nigerians |
