Can Nigeria Nationalize all businesses where SA has the majority shares? What would be the implications of such? |
I do not think Nigeria has any economic advantage over SA. Otherwise our government wouldn't be this lacklustre in taking firm steps. |
He must have been buoyed by Fayemi's victory in Ekiti. Maybe he was rigged out too and feels his people like him. Afterall Late Audu also won elections as a former governor Good luck to Kogites |
Does that mean the Nigerians on SA would have to wait till October when the leaders meet before respite could come their way? That does not appear as an urgent step this situation requires. |
AU may not raise a finger. Nigeria government needs to act fast and mount pressure. There is a saying that ' Na madness them they take cure madness'. |
There isn't any justification for the mob attack and lynching of foreigners including looting and destruction of their properties. Let no one try to rationalize it. Granted that a handful of these foreigners are allegedly into fraud and drug, the South Africans should have mounted immense pressure on their government to arrest, prosecute and deport the offenders. You can't lump the entire people of a particular country up and label them criminals just because of some bad eggs. I solely blame this incessant xenophobic attacks on Nigeria government's lackadaisical attitude. The ineptitude of the government seems to have emboldened the attackers and their government. Just recently when Nigeria increased the Visa fee for US travellers to Nigeria, didn't the US government retaliate in same measures? Didn't our government quickly retrace her steps? Nigeria Government should move from talking to taking serious actions otherwise, Nigerians in South Africa might be coming back home in body bags, God forbid! |
Are those guys his escorts or the security men of the mall? |
I thought Saraki was a thief, a reckless spender and extravagant. Who would have believed that this new Senate headed by the 'chosen ones' will also be this insensitive? The problem may not just be about individuals but also that of the system we operate that allows the already overfed individuals feast with reckless abandon on our patrimony. Can't we try unicamera legislature with part-time members? Except from the shenanigans of those that benefit from the status quo, Nigeria is due for genuine restructuring. |
wallex1983:I sincerely hope Gov. Dapo realises that first impression lasts longer. He is yet to warm himself into the hearts of Ogun people as envisaged. |
There is always a warning about the dangers in buying used phones so as not to run into Police trouble But the twist here is that the phone is said to be brand new. |
That is the way to go. The government should just ensure that it vets the herders to be accommodated here and ensure they aren't alliens. If anyone isn't happy seeing a mosque there, the Southern governors should replicate by building theirs and put a church their. |
Why endangering the lives of innocent Imolites. If the governor and the Police really want Okorocha this minute, they know where to get him. |
Some of those motorcycles are on hire purchase and installment payment. Nigeria and Southwest is already infiltrated with aliens from neighbouring countries already taking over the menial jobs. Laws and regulations must be observed to make the society sane. LASG should consider imposing fines instead of outrightly impounding the means of livelihood of people and drive them further into poverty and perhaps, crime. The Immigration should also vet these Non-Nigerians and then do the needful. |
It is hard to disbelief the young man's account. |
Ok |
Ok |
To even think he was the first to wear the reelection campaign cap to the FEC meeting, Mr. Shittu should be shocked truly. A lot of Nigerians would however have been shocked if he were to be renominated considering his non participation in the NYSC Mr. Shittu should consider himself lucky to have escaped prosecution instead. |
Seems the young man is an expert in 'recovering' stolen items so much that His Excellency will want the state to benefit from his expertise. In any case, how is it very convenient for us to quickly forget the 'innocent until proven guilty' mantra? |
abdulazeez1002:Well, comedy is also a money spinnig profession. |
Other serious countries should start to review their foreign policies as as to benefit immensely from the impending trade war between the two giants. I hope authorities in Nigeria are scheming too |
At 13, she is already leaving the house, and even the town to go spend time with her boyfriend. She is either an Abiiko ( not trained) or Akoogba ( trained but remains unyielding) Whichever way, the parents have failed. |
The Japanese government will rather 'waste' the miscreants that will attempt to harm the president of another country on her soil. Make no mistake, the attack on Ekweramdu was largely successful because he wasn't on any official assignment. Kanu should lead from the front this time around, Bubu will be a big catch for him. |
I heard leaders are the reflection of their followers, since the present leaders were once ordinary members of the society. |
I do not see anything substantial coming out of this. Ekweremmadu wasn't in Germany in his official capacity. He went their to eat yam and I doubt the section quoted suffices for the criminal trial of the suspects. As it is, the attacked senator will be more willing to let his attackers go free than prosecute them, if they are truly IPOB members. |
He should represent well. How old were Gowon, Danjuma, Obasanjo and Buhari them when they were taking critical decisions in Nigeria? It appears Oyo state really want to give the youth the needed space starting from the speaker and now to this young man. Good luck to him and the people of Oyo State. |
Haaaa |
krendo:Very well said. But the Supreme Court will mist probably gauge the 'pulse of the nation' in delivering judgment. |
Same purpose Aso Villa clinic should have solved, at least to the first family. |
Season of name changing is upon us. Prison service changed. It remains Nigeria Police Force to Nigeria Police. |
So it is not even about his disputed WAEC certificate. Obla must have stepped on some powerful toes. |
Is this how this woman will end her enviable career in ignominy, just like the disgraced ex CJN? To think she was all over the place vigorously defending the allegation some weeks back. If you are a top civil servant or political office holder and do not belong to the right clique and had one time or the other helped yourself with the ' proverbial yam', either by omission or commission, just resign honorably while you still can. Who will help smoke out Maina for prosecution now? |
Whichever way you want to look at it, Oby is right you know |
