Well, the person they are ridiculing (if any at all) knows himself. Let's not drink panadol for another man's headache. The VP says there's no problem |
As long as the VP has not admitted to having any issues with his boss, Afenifere can rest for now. |
The DSS takes order directly from the Presidency. The Presidency heads the Executive arm of the government. It is safe to conclude that one arm of the government is deliberately disrespecting the other arm. At this juncture, the Judiciary should at least make a strong statement to rescue itself from this embarrassment. |
Good challenge. It should be too hard for these investigative journalists to mention names of those sacked and perhaps, post copies of the sack letters. |
... and the Hon. Minister of work said Nigeria roads aren't that terrible |
Holamilekan97:Could this really be the great Baptist Boys High School that produced the likes of Obasanjo, Abiola and other great men. Something isn't right |
This is the height of it. This Senate will most likely, in due course, amend the constitution to approve the infamous third term. |
The title ' Your Excellency' has been abused. Well done Mr Governor. However please be assured that you will engrave your name in the hearts of Lagosians with your sterling performance. Change of title isn't one of them |
Something isn't right. Why should a matter that concerns us all be discussed off camera? |
Who else should have presided over the FEC? Mr. Kyari? |
I have interacted with this guy on one or two occasions and he cuts across as an intelligent person who wouldn't make such careless allegations without evidences. The University management has already become a judge in their own case and of course, nothing he says before the disciplinary committe would make any sense to them. And yes, our universities shouldn't be a breeding ground for docile and feeble minded individuals who would 'hear no evil and see no evil'. It is dangerous for the bigger society. Ironically, a certain professor from that same university was always on radio programs across the state capital castigating and criticising the former government of the state ( rightly so) . Just a little criticism from one of their students, they can't contend with and had to bear their fangs. Ifemosu should approach the court already. If the management feels defamed rightly, they should go to court too. |
Some people said same thing about a certain ailing president some years back. Buhari is their meal ticket and they will say anything to justify any of his actions |
If only the Police would be very active, only the governor and his deputy ( because of their immunity) should be walking free now. Every other person remotely linked with that violent attack no matter how highly placed should have been guests at the Police station instead of dishing out press statements |
Why should governance be ran on propaganda and half truths? If a policy is working fine, there wouldn't be any need to be deceptive about it. |
This one don hook the bank for throat. |
So Nigeria took a loan from China for the project. Contractors were paid but they didn't do the job Nigeria is repaying the loan plus the interest for a contract not executed Do we really need SERAP or any organization to remind or compel the anti corruption agencies before taking actions on such obvious scam? What do I even know? Shebi someone recently scammed the Nation with a bougous Airline launch which turned out to be a mere logo launch. I like the part where the agency clearly stated that the loan was unnecessary as the project could be adequately financed from the obscure security votes the politicians take. If only the organized labour would agitate for the scrap of the security votes for political office holders |
Soon, they will find an amenable judge on the pay roll of the state government that will do the needful. Either they blackmail, threaten or induce the judge. The irony is that those perpetrating this are not unaware of the illegality of their actions but they will still carry on because they know there won't be any punishment. |
What is the justification for this at this moment? Why is the government so insensitive? Why are these people bent on removing every thing the poor man enjoys? This next level is barely 6 months into its four years and the direction is very clear now. VAT raised, tax on data, tax on online banking, tax on deposit, increased electric tarrif on top of estimated billings, toll gate is coming etc Anything else? The NASS should for once be on the people's side and halt this new provocative tax. |
EFCC still needs cogent evidence to investigate the Bullion Vans wandering around somewhere at the Bourdillon . Anyone who has such incontrovertible evidences should assist the commission. Thanks. Adoke probably didn't know the drill, he should have seek sanctuary amongst the Saints in the broom wielding coven and watch as his sins become washed away. Examples abound. Good news is that at the fullness of time, all of those, whether past or present, who have knived our yams, irrespective of affiliations will give account. |
iragbmite:I wouldn't have quoted you if you haven't laced your 'correction' with an insult. This is what I got from the famous Merriam Webster 2. Wreck Verb : to damage (something) so badly that it cannot be repaired again : to ruin or destroy (something) :to destroy (a ship) by crashing it into something Bring about, wreak <wreck havoc> Wreak Verb :to cause (something very harmful or damaging) Bring about, cause <wreak havoc> You might want to educate me further. |
Lion that was probably tactically freed when they realised they couldn't cope with the feeding and other sundry maintenance again. Na joke o. We pray it is recaptured before it wrecks havoc on unsuspecting villagers |
Farouk Lawan, until the bribe saga, has a very bright future in the Northern Nigeria politics. If were still relevant by now, and with such momentum, he could have been a presidential hopeful. Till he dies, he will continue to run that unfortunate day he stuffed Otedola's dollar in his cap. |
Rest in Peace Young Champ. I've been trying to figure out what is entertaining about boxing. |
More like the cabals have approved Aides for the First Lady |
If the ex chairman of NPA is in pains because of the closure of land boarders, what then will be the conditions of the current chairman? Just how convenient is it for people to create conspiracies? |
Before anyone hurls insults at the old man, think about the pains of the victims of the vicious and unconscionable attacks by these marauders |
A new wife should be the least of the concern of a seventy something years old president of a third world country. |
It takes a huge patriotism on the part of the South Korean players to play this game. Is FIFA in support of such conditions? Wait a minute, what if South Korea 'mistakenly' wins this match? Who will account for the safety of their players? |
The blame lies with the man who couldn't properly coordinate his immediate and extended family members. If you hurt my wife, you hurt me. But of course my wife knows she can't disrespect my extended family members. Everyone knows his/her limits. |
On this same platform, some people have queried the authenticity of the video and dismissed it as fabricated by their usual suspects and whipping group - IPOB. Now everyone should have a clue of what Mrs Buhari must have had to contend with from those who had firm grip of her husband, and by extension, the entire nation. Obviously, these ones wouldn't mind to permanently displace the 'suicide bomber from Yola' from her current position. |
"... a PhD candidate from the Ahmadu Bello University..." This information seems absolutely unnecessary except the said uncle doubles as her supervisor. Only God knows how many lawyers 'strayed' innocently into judges homes during the election tribunal sittings |
What an irony. Here is someone who was alleged to have led thugs into the Senate chamber, desecrate the hallowed chamber and cart away the symbol of authority. |
