Ologinni t'ajo de, ekute ile e paramo. The cat returns from the journey, house rats should be cautious. |
chigoziri2403:There are repentant bandits already in Zamfara and Katsina. We saw the picture of the Katsina Governor visiting the bandits in their hideout recently while those ones were brandishing weapons. |
Congratulations. One Nigeria it is. Hope it remains so. The government should also intensify effort at claiming the oil rich Tungeji Island in Ogun before Benin Republic takes it. |
Treasonable felony isn't supposed to be a bailable offence, how come the two learned judges granted him bails separately? This could be a pointer to the fact that the judges see the charges as trumped-up and watery. For the sake of our democracy and Nigeria's image internationally, the Presidency who controls the DSS should not try any other funny move to still keep him in detention once he perfects his bail condition. |
SGF and Constituency projects! Lord have mercy. Even though nothing could be put beyond our politicians, I'll rather wait for confirmation or denial from the concerned. |
I reiterate. If your idea of opposition is to condemn all moves of the current government with propaganda and half-truths, just know that table can turn anytime. My advice..... learn from the travails of the current government. |
Over 250 SAs and SSAs? If Edo government were his own personal business, would he have employed such number of Assistants? |
There's absolutely no justification for this. Even if he the most wanted criminal in the World, Is it even better to arrest him alive than to watch him die? |
Thumbs up to those who thought it wise to give out to those in need especially now that rice is expensive. The foundation should look at ways of teaching them how to fish too so that they too could in turn be able to give to others someday. |
One would have advised Mr. Bob to approach the court for this brazen act of intimidation but who knows whether they obey court orders in that country too. Mr. Bob should get more serious, register his party and possibly change the color of the beret. He is obviously becoming a threat to the establishment. Good luck to him. |
If someone could be detained just for the inscription on his T shirt, who told the students that the VC would not be 'invited' for allowing such debate in the school under his watch? This is the type of debate that should be encouraged by authorities so that the idea of revolution could be 'killed' with superior argument, and not by bullets. The management should assist the students in making the debate a live event for those who will like to follow the debate online |
A second wife at what age? How easy is it for people to just manufacture stories with little or no credence? |
Finally. Let him begin to sing already. We want to know who reinstated him and what happened to the pension fund. |
Ok |
Unfortunately, those that had read and believed the viral #90billion story may have already formed opinions about the FIRS, Mr. Fowler and ultimately, the VP. If the newspaper truly erred in publishing such unverified, damaging and libelous story, I strongly believe that mere retraction of the story won't suffices to deter other that might want to tow that line. |
Joining hands to uplift the country is a task that must be considered by every patriot. If you are in opposition and you think the best way to come to power is to demonize those holding the positions now with unwarranted propaganda, tactically supporting terrorism against the country and even refusing to lend a helping hand to the country in terms of security all in the bid to paint the current leaders bad, I have an advice for you .... learn from the travails of the current power holders What goes around comes around but unfortunately, the country will suffer for it. Happy Independence, NIGERIA. |
Who else remembers this simple trick of government anytime they want to hike petrol price? They first make it scarce such that citizens themselves will yearn for the increase in price under groaning conditions. Congratulations to the business man and the Kaduna government. |
This once vociferous and fiery preacher who often speak boldly to the throne has lost his voice. Much of the rights enjoyed by him and his co-conveners of rallies and protests are no more readily available. I suspect that his speech must have been submitted and vetted by the 'authority'. |
Ok |
Fowler will most likely be replaced. The query from the Chief of Staff is enough to suggest that his tenure won't be renewed Nature abhors vacuum. If his tenure had expired and the person who should either elongate his tenure or send him back home decided to act unconcerned, what would anyone have Fowler do? The blame should be properly situated. |
Enough of these cut and join stories. If there exists a cabal that is truly desirous of removing the VP, they should be bold enough to come out strongly instead of testing waters |
The OP should endeavor to attach the video of the interview |
Someone said the three arms of government have been rolled up into one ....and I have been finding it difficult to disagree |
Pastor Bakare will not openly castigate PMB's administration |
If only the bailiff could serve the court order on the person from whom the DSS takes directive. Hand of Esau, voice of Jacob |
Jonathan should be weary of any set up to further humiliate him. He is already in the league of elder statemen and should not be lured into any contest |
If only the letter could be directed to the PERSON from whom the Director takes order from. A wilful disregard for court order should be discouraged by all irrespective of affiliation. |
Ok |
The duo of GEJ and Saraki couldn't have sued Osibanjo for libel since he enjoys immunity as the VP |
After perfecting the bail conditions, what right has the government to still hold on to the accused? People should be careful what precedents they are setting as the table might turn sooner than expected. |
Is treasonable felony a bailable offence? The answer is No. The court must have seen through the charges as trumped up. Let's wait and see if the presidency will obey the court order |
Same way twitter stories also trend on Nairaland. Nairaland is the online replica of a true Nigeria city - a mixture of the good, the bad and the ugly |
