Igbo's have collectively failed to develop the east with the little every state in Nigeria have been receiving from the centre, like the Yorubas have been doing over the years. Even the poorest state in Nigeria, Ekiti state is better run and developed more than any southeastern state, and now Igbo's want to blame everybody except themselves for their own failures.
Tell me which state especially in the south does not feel marginalized. Yet some states are still making efforts to grow and develop despite the situation.

fulanmafia: Yet the SW were able to play dignified opposition politics during the Jonathan years when their elders complained of marginalization (to the jubilation of your kind) and successfully strategized to kick out their oppressor? It's typical of failures to blame the tool (constitution) instead of their lack of skill.
Call a spade a spade. You simply lack the strategic capacity to play opposition politics, hence your resort to petty blackmail and childish bid to bring the house down. Amusingly all you've succeeded in doing is further militarizing your region while inching it closer to yet another genocide and mass starvation as your fate seems to be programmed to be.
Arewa is not the reason for your inability to play opposition politics. Face your front. Your cashcow (the Zoo) is about to be wrecked and no amount of empty tirade or blackmail of genocide will spare that overused cow. Politics › Re: A Peek Into Ipob "Supreme" Leader's Intellectual Exploits. by Lightening: 12:41pm On Sep 05, 2017 |
omenkaLives: Good morning.
I come in peace.
For sometime now, concerned observers like myself have been asking some questions about the supposedly unblemished (according to his followers) leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. It is on record most of these queries, simple as they sound, have been met with nothing but insults. It is my sincere hope this would go differently.
Now, alot have been said about this young man and alot has he said. He is not the first of his kind the world has seen and he certainly wouldn't be the last. What seems, though, to set other secessionist leaders or "freedom fighters" apart from him is that the records of his past are as obscure as they come!
The business of secession is one heck of a serious business whose significance should never be underemphasised. If a country were to break away from Nigeria, I as a patriotic citizen of Nigeria would like to be rest assured I wouldn't end up with some very unstable and aggressive neighbors because that would have undesirable consequences for my own state Security. For this reason, I'd like to have the assurance, no matter how unlikely it is, that such a country is in face hands, and being in safe hands implies safe brains.
With this foundation laid, I'd like to know what exactly are Mazi Kanu's educational qualifications and what intellectual property or exploits can we ascribe to him? What schools did Mazi Nnamdi Kanu attend and what grades did he graduate those schools with?
Does Mazi Kanu have any intellectual property, say a book or a publication, to his credit? Has he ever addressed a gathering of intellectuals or scholars?
Kanu says he wants a debate, a renown Igbo man volunteered, and the next thing we hear is "the man isn't intelligent enough!
President Buhari graduated Secondary school probably over 30 years before Kanu did (that is if he did) yet to this day, he's still being abused, notably by IPOB supporters, for not graduating secondary school or at best "presenting a fake WASSC result" where he failed this subject and that.. Can we see copy Of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's WASSC result or even a "fake copy" with all the distinctions he had?
Can we have the names or photographs of Kanu's class mates?
The "UK university" Mazi Kanu allegedly attended has either been scrapped or barred from issuing certificates since it didn't meet the bare minimum standards for such institutions in the West. Can we see a copy of the certificate issued Mazi Kanu upon his graduation from that school? Who were his mates in that school?
When questions arose about his previous employment records and attempts were made to answer them without the usual insults, we all know what a disaster that turned out to be as the records revealed a man literally living on the fringes of starvation.
Just as my President was and is still being asked these very important questions, with a full accompaniment of derogatory comments, I imagine it is well within my right to also make such inquiries about the "Supreme Leader" of those who ask similar questions about my country's leader.
Thank you. His intellectual capacity is proven in his ability to cause considerable pain and restlessness to the enemies of progress of Nigeria. B.S Dimka failed in his own bid. |

captleonerd: yes the fulanis invaded Yoruba land and were driven out. note the key word driven out. the only reason Ilorin wasn't liberated before the coming of the white man is because Ilorin rebelled against the Oyo empire and was uncooperative. if our men were as cowardly as you are foolishly trying to portray then the while of the southwest should be in their grip now.
BTW do you know the same fulanis came from Niger and conquered the hausas? but to you unintelligent bigots Yorubas are the cowards and hausas are not upside down logic. I'm still waiting for you ibos to accept my challenge and give me the history of ibos as a people that at least had the liver to start a war before the coming of the colonial masters. you sissies were busy chasing bush meat while Yorubas were busy expanding and taking kingdoms. no wonder Oyo state alone is bigger than abia, imo and anambra together I know the yoruba history is replete with very sore losses and defeats from the Fulani. But the assaults i referenced in my response were the ones that happened in recent history. You are explaining failures as usual. Face the OP and address your grievances with him. Arewa is not the reason for your inability to play opposition politics. The stranglehold the Fulani doctored 1999 constitution has on Nigeria forecloses dignified opposition politics. The appropriate type of response from any lover of freedom is sustained resistance. That is what all men of goodwill country over are beginning to do now. Very soon, the North will fully assume the poverty stricken status it was designed by Danfodio to be. |

Yorubas know when to fight and when to watch and strategize. that's the difference between us.
we are not cowards. we have a well documented history of war lords, generals and empires in a democratic system long before the coming of the white man. what do ibos have? nothing. if not for the white man your people will still be struggling with killing bush meat with projectiles.
why don't you give me a detailed history of the ibo and advancements made before the coming of the white man and I'll do the same for Yorubas.
in fact give me the name of 5 ibo generals/war lords from the precolonial era ad I'll give you 20 from ijebu kingdom to, egba to Oyo to Ibadan to Ekiti kingdoms.

OkunrinMeta: One would imagine that in five years that Jonathan was in Power, if these protests and loud requests for secession was brought forward and it was this loud, It might have been easier for the Igbo nation to get what they seem to want.
Of course there is also the question of whether the agitators actually speak the mind of the Igbo Nation. This is because in my corner of the country, the Igbo men I know do not seem to be very much in support of Master Nnamdi. Still, these issues should be addressed by way of logical two way discussion.
So my questions are:
why is the demand for Biafra more pronounced now?
Did the agitators forget what they wanted before? Did they not want it at the time?
What exactly is the reasonable expectation currently?
Do you want the Hausa man to go and face his onions and cow while leaving the oil for only the east to enjoy because they are very selfless like Jesus?
Would it not have been easier to ask Jonathan to do that?
Are we willing to go back to 1967 to make it happen? Jonathan ignored Kanu, but the cattle rearer confronted him and gave him more publicity, sympathy and followership. Nobody is afraid of your 1967. Good night. |
