Oga innoson, from a credible source my research finding has it that you were arrested and detained by the anti graft agency because of a criminal case that was prepared against you as far back as 2012 bothering on the usage of falsified lading bills or shipping documents to take into delivery some goods imported with the aid of GTB finance. So don't feign ignorance as to the reason for your arrest and detention. Nobody is above the law.

Is that so? That's a serious economic crime. By the way, why is EFCC nervously granting him so cheap a bail inspite of this horrendous allegation? What happened to the best practice of charging him to court for him to painstakingly procure his own bail since he has a case to answer? Please can you research on this puzzle also. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has released the statement below announcing the release of Innocent Chukwuma, the chief executive officer of Innoson Motors.

The businessman was released on bail, the EFCC said.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has released Nnewi, Anambra-State born Industrialist, Chief Innocent Chukwuma on bail.

The business man who runs a local auto assembly plant was arrested on Tuesday December 19, 2017 at his Enugu residence, following his refusal to respond to invitations by the Commission, after initially being granted administrative bail by the Commission, while his surety could also not be found.

Unfortunately the industrialist resisted arrest and stirred controversy by bringing six truck-loads of thugs to block the entrance to his Plot W1, Industrial Layout, Abakaliki Road, Emeni, Enugu, home.

This was after he initially misled the Police Command by informing them that his home had been invaded by armed robbers and kidnappers despite the fact that operatives of the Commission duly identified themselves to policemen guarding his home.

His unruly thugs encircled and manhandled operatives of the Commission who had gone to effect the arrest.

Consequently, a distress call was sent to the Commission’s Enugu Office for reinforcement.

In all of this, the Commission’s operatives acted with decorum and civility. No one was manhandled or assaulted by the EFCC team, and not a single shot was fired, despite the provocation.

Chief Chukwuma and his brother, Charles Chukwuma (who is still at large), are being investigated by the Insurance and Capital Market Fraud Section of the Commission’s office in Lagos over matters bordering on N1, 478, 366, 859.66 fraud and forgery.

The industrialist, among other infractions, allegedly used forged documents to secure tax waivers.

Why are they delaying their own version even after all the parties' versions are trending? Is It is very dumb of them ?. BTW, if they had solid grounds for the arrest, the media-philiac EFCC I know would have started trying Innoson in the cyberspace since yesterday.

Most of these Igbos can't use their sense to see that, the man is not telling us the whole truth. How can a complainant win a court case and the court asked the defendant to pay a compensation and the defendant will still use EFCC to arrest the complainant? It is not possible, if innoson didn't do something fraudulent or forged a document, GTB would have settled out of court and see how they can reduce the compensation fee with apologies. Rather, they are using EFCC against him,this to me doesn't sound like victimization but a clear case of Forgery with documents presented to court.

I repeat let's wait for GTB to release a statement or wait for the Supreme Court judgement.

Why are u still waiting for GTB's position where you have already conjectured what it would be. Let me see how they will survive this murky waters.

They are all verifiable determined court cases. The courts and the cases' reference numbers were cited. You can verify them using a search tool like Google. If you don't know what it means or how to use it, then you should not be talking to a highly informed online community.
