I’m not believing this picture Why will police first shoot you and then tie you up later? Or did they tie them and execute them? I thought ipob claimed police opened fire at people trying to shield the lawyers house More questions... questions... questions |
one of them took my name and changed one letter then went to use it and blow me I still dey here dey drag ftc on NL ![]() |
Tribal comments are Still flying left and right from the same people who have multiple accounts used to incite hate on this forum. People should learn to overlook some trolls this season. |
That was how I just finished respraying my car for Xmas that year. It was so black and shiny I washed and waxed it one evening to use for the next day. Slept and woke, brush and baff, dress and chop. Comot for house come see my shining car, I smile ![]() Walked round to open the door and saw three big letters ‘ U G O ‘ scratched just across my driver door. I stood still and looked at it very well, and realized yes... it was my own name spelled right there Darned kids friends saw it and thought they waybilled the car to me. I was explaining for the first six months after that unsolicited branding Op there’s nothing you can do about it. Get the car cover if you like but you can’t cover your car every time so if it will happen it will happen. Just pray they write something that makes sense, like your name on your own too. |
Where’s npowerng? That one will never click on this thread |
Olalekanbanky1:To use the cruise you follow the below steps 1. Press the cruise main button and on your control cluster the green cruise main icon will light up 2. say you want to drive and only move at 100kmph you first drive to that speed and press the top accel button on your steering and the cruise control icon will light up on your control cluster beside the cruise main icon) 3. You can now take your foot off the throttle pedal and watch your car fire itself at exactly the same 100kmph you set earlier when you pressed the top accel cruise button. If you want to move faster to say like 120kmph you can just keep pressing the top accel cruise bottom to increase speed. If you want to reduce your cars speed then you can press the bottom decel cruise button. You will see your car reducing speed from 100kmph to like 90-80 as you keep pressing the button. 4. Once you press the brake pedal the cruise control will automatically disable itself and you can now use the throttle pedal as you wish. If you also moving too slow (below 80kmph) the cruise control will not work/engage or will disengage itself if it was working before you hit such speed either by pressing the decel cruise button or any other unforeseen stuff. Be vigilant while using your cars cruise control in Nigeria, always do it on a long and maybe lonely stretch of road. Better on highway travels. In fact in Nigeria if you’re not traveling on a highway and you’re using your cruise control you’re increasing your chances of having an accident by 50%. Cc grudges |
ornicus:Baba calm down. It’s now almost the end of 2019, don’t deactivate and create a new monika just to further destroy the serenity of this forum. Allow the drivers drive and the riders hail while you do what you do. |
Hmm, and I was here reading to see if the op meant to show us how a ‘backyard Nigerian Kazeem’ was using spanner and flash drive to repair a Tesla ![]() |
Bros post this question on www.dollarland.com How will you be asking people that drive on unpaved, dusty, erosion washed potholed roads what car to drive in USA? Are you serious? Oya go and tell your friend to buy Toyota Corolla |
Of all the times, climes and places to do a road trip you chose NIGERIA? With terrible roads? herdsmen wahala? Bandits? Boko haram? Rogue police officers? Insensitive citizens Ensure you use a SUV that is bulletproof. Don’t go looking for enjoyment on the same roads where there’s danger without being ready for the worst |
Even if 100 people get killed on taxify/bolt within the next month Nigerians will never push for them to be shut down. Where else will they find jobs? |
Hmm Is this the beginning of the end of air peace? Only time will tell |
If we can have highway thieves, yahoo boys, various world renowned terrorists, embezzling politicians, bribe collector police, trigger happy army, ritualistic citizens etc then then it’s only fair for us to add a serial killer to the mix isn’t it? 9ja we hail thee |
^^^ My brother Has a coconut ever fallen on your own head before? Is a coconut comprised of strong and heavy plastics or metals? Unless that coconut tree is a young ‘agric’ dwarf specie my brother you might snifff your brain back into your head through your nose if a mature coconut falls from its branch into your soft skull. If people have survived it before I’m sure they didn’t walk away from that spot smiling with a thumbs up gesture. Kia 9jarians, see that traffic light sha Even if you’re driving and it falls suddenly on your windshield it will break it once and maybe still find it’s way onto your skull ![]() That is a big disaster waiting to happen |
TRIGITIS:Imagine yourself under it when it drops as you’re crossing, with cars dangerously close and approaching you. Maybe there’s no zebra crossing there and even if there was 9ja drivers no Dey send. It drops from waaayyy up there down On your head oh Just look at the scale of the human heads and the actual stuff dangling in that picture So go now and sit somewhere quiet and comfy then calmly use your IMAGINATION to picture yourself in that scenario then read your post again. |
My advice is for if the car was bought very very cheap ![]() Op it’s a Honda. Japanese. Don’t fear. Go to New Market, on Douglass Street in owerri and ask for ZUBI. He deals with Honda parts. Purchase the gearbox (and engine if need be, because I’m sure the engine usually outlasts the gearbox). After changing both take your car to a competent electrician in to sort out the rest of the gremlins (if any) Stay positive op. Refer to my second sentence for a reassurance ![]() |
When I registered most users were mostly adults and learned. A few were very well to do as helpful to the forum. People and professionals trained in fields came here to interact with everyone. Now because sims, phones and internet is cheap everyone else is onboard and I’m still learning how to filter the wheat from the chaff. |
when I see cars stopping ahead I switch to neutral and coast to a stop behind the car in front. I then let go of brake (engaging the handbrake if car wants to roll). When cars move I disengage the handbrake and switch to drive to move to the next stop. Since I learned this habit the only thing I noticed is that my right leg and my brake pedal have become enemies and my brake pads last almost 2X longer than before. Maybe it’s because I drove manual for years before even seeing auto |
GAZZUZZ:Thanks boss. |
Please what is this called? It’s under the driver side dashboard immediately above the throttle pedal. I was hearing clicking sounds like sparks from the dashboard sometimes when I turn the ignition and took it to electrician and he disconnected this module and the noise stopped. I want to know what that thing is called and what it does so I can replace it. Thanks 2005 accord luvinhubby gazzuzz adanny01 nurey

uduak2016:Brother don’t allow politics and politicians turn you blind against all that’s happening and all that’s to come. Igbo, afonja etc will never benefit anybody except the politicians and Fulani. Open your mind and allow the hatred brewing in your heart to subside so you can see the bigger picture here. |
Nairaland should wake up. This isn’t tribalism, it’s a subtle JIHAD. Everywhere I’m seeing tribal comments of people calling each other names. This thing we’re witnessing on this website has been orchestrated by various scum in government. Educated Northern individuals are given stipends to come on this website to create fake accounts with Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa names to destabilize us all. They abuse and accuse each other here and the rest of us the genuine nairalanders get incensed and carried away with their posts and submissions. The genuine ones then start hating and abusing each other while leaving out the Northern trouble makers who are on a divide and rule jihad on social media. These Northern people know that if the rest of th tribes are united and in harmony their plans will never succeed. That’s why they have drafted themselves here to the biggest and oldest Nigerian forum to execute their nefarious plans. Good and sensible people shouldn’t fall for their schemes. All these your Afonja and Igbo name calling is this own doing. They like it. They want it to continue and never stop. They even wish you could kill yourselves because it’s for their own advantage. I have been here watching and I see everything happening. I was initially suspicious but now after this RUGA issue I’m absolutely certain of it that the Northern jihadist who we erroneously thought couldn’t read nor write have flooded this website causing disunity with their fake handles, topics and posts. Please, sensible Nigerians, stop falling for their tricks. They have resorts to emotional jihad against the other tribes so they can cause confusion in their midst and then conquer them after they get divided. Look around this website at some strange monikas and be truthful to yourself, on your mind and reason to understand what is going on here. These Northerners have a terribly big agenda and they are pursuing it left right and center. The Northerners have taken over politics section here. See all these new handles that spring up from nowhere posting gibberish supporting their president no matter what? It’s them them. I don’t want to call any names but those who know ... KNOW. Let the wise open their eyes and close their hearts while in this website. The Northern jihad herdsmen have sent the few educated ones over here to further their agenda. And it’s working ![]() Will this post get hidden? We shall see |
kingzizzy:Suspended ohhh . . . Scrapping ohhh all I know is that sarrki will get so high tonight that he’d forget about his close shave with his messiah and start posting thrash upandan on this forum once again. While he was crying, sober and licking his wounds we were able to ‘hear word’ but all that is over now. Let’s se the next senseless action of Buhari that he will support again |
I’m very unhappy about the scrapping of this RUGA brouhaha Imagine that our resident zombie sarrki crying up and down last week because they had mapped out his backyard for the herdsmen to use. Now his weed farm would still stand and he’d cut, dry and smoke a huge quantity this evening to celebrate ![]() Stuupid Buhari |
Very smart move. Local vigilante groups are mostly Hausa/Fulani in that zone already so no need calling on them ![]() They knew calling on the Police won’t work because then herdsmen will come with ammunition’s and bribes ![]() They also acknowledge that the Army works in tandem with the marauders ![]() So naturally the DSS are next in line to be called upon. Let’s see if they would answer |
Op, you have been creating thread after thread harping on this issue of yours which we are yet to understand. Please who is this ‘Adamu Mohammed’ who you quoted? What is your own stance concerning this RUGA issue? I’m just trying to understand where you’re coming from and where you’re headed to that’s all ![]() |
Op please make a point of familiarizing yourself with correct punctuations and also paragraphing your write ups to make it easier for we readers to digest. |
They are getting ready to induct their new members soon to come out of the big brother house. Don’t worry, after 3 months they will focus on our RUGA fever ![]() |

I washed and waxed it one evening to use for the next day.

I greet you main main
