PoliticsRe: Buhari & Tyranny : I Have Been Vindicated - Reno Omokri! See Why by linearity: 11:06pm On Aug 22, 2016
omenka:
Reno is just one redundant oaf, and so are those who agree with him. We have seen people call Buhari even worse names than a dog.

It is one thing to call someone a dog and it is another to call a dog someone and then go ahead to write the the person's name on it- all this in a peaceful environment.

Had Buhari been a tyrant, no one would waste their time suing the idiot- they would simply throw his sorry ass in jail and have his dog swallow the keys.

I wonder why he didn't name his dog after his father- abi him like Buhari pass him papa??
Again, it is not a crime to name one's dog Buhari, even if the intention is to insult Buhari.

We are in a democratic government elected by the people. The government is elected to serve the people and not the other way around, which mean in true sense of democracy, the government is the servant and we are their master.

And just like every servant, they serve at the pleasure of the master. It is unheard of for the servant to haul the master to court simply because he/she was called a dog or named after a dog. Any government official or public servant that does that is a tyrant and does not understand the true meaning of democracy, which is the government of the people, by the people and for the people.

Better renowned world leaders have been called worst by their citizens and their names given to worst things that you can only imagine, but they laugh it off and didn't prosecute or intimidate anyone because they know that for democracy to flourish the freedom of the citizens to express themselves must be unbridled.

FamilyRe: Why Do Most Wives Deny Their Husbands Sex? They Need To CHANGE! by linearity: 8:27pm On Aug 19, 2016
OP, the truth is you subconsciously you want to go out and bleed someone else, and from the look of things you may have already done it or will do it soon...and nothing anyone will says here will change that, the best outcome is that, it will delay it.

As for your wife, it is your cross; don't expect things to change. Some people don't just like bleeding, telling them that you are going to cheat if they don't wake up is not going to make them change, threats never solve anything permanently.

But, you must let her know that, she is not doing the needful, be careful the way you frame it, else it might ended up being that, you are not sensitive and caring enough to her headaches, leg pains and predicament.

Also, it maybe that you are selfish in bed and don't satisfy her, as a result she has grown to see sex as a one way street that favors you alone. Let me ask you a question....Do your wife 'come' each time both of you make love? Do you ever ask her, if she has come? Have you gone the extra mile to make sure she is as satisfied as you are, each and every time? The truth is, that exercise should be mutually satisfactory and if it is, she will want it as much as you.

How was your courtship? Didn't you notice this during that period?

teemy:
this is just like the futures market. a buyer makes a request for forex to be supplied at a certain date while the buyer complies irrespective of the market price on the supply date whether gain or loss. it is a standardized transaction worldwide.
Not true, in the future's market, you have to buy and pay for the contract in order for it to be bidding that, you will supplied at the specified rate on the future date, same is applicable in the option market except that futures deal with commodities and options deals with securities.

Despite the long winding denial by the CBN Governor, he did not mention such thing occurred and more so, the Government does not sell future contracts. What essentially was done is that; since the CBN restricts access to forex in Nigeria, they usually agree with the various pilgrimage organizations in advance on the maximum dollar amount of forex that will be allowed for that year.

The Pilgrimage organizations do not advance the government any money at that stage nor do they buy any contract to lock down the exchange rate, it is a mere agreement on max quantity per individual period!

You clearly don't know anything about the US, Yes! People insult Obama on tweeter, Instagram, Facebook, etc name it and none has been picked up yet.

And about CIA O boy! Do you know the crazy stuffs and conspiracy theories printed in papers and posted online about the CIA everyday? It will shock you to know that, a good percentage of people in America still believe that the terrorists attack on 9/11 was a CIA inside job, some even still believe that the CIA was behind the assassination of JF Kennedy, and they have dedicated websites for these.

America is a hot belly of false and misleading conspiracy theories and none of these people has been questioned, arrested or stopped on the street....just google things like 'insults against Obama' or 'lies about the CIA', and other stuffs in that line and see the results that you will get.

Apart from crimes against public trust and treason, the government have no business questioning or arresting citizens in a democratic government about injustices the government felt.

The government answers to the people and the have the right to question the motives and sincerity of the government. Using cyberstalking as an outlier to implement dictatorial policies is shameful. In a democracy, it is not possible for citizens to stalk their government becos, the very essence of democracy implies that citizens must be very critical and vocal about their government and seek to know what they are doing at all time, and demand answers, sometimes annoying ones from them. That crime is only applicable when the aggrieved is a private citizen.

Yea...Its the first time tho, but the fear I have is that she could continue spending on the guy she's dating and keep demanding for money every now and then.
While visiting make some inquiries with the view of estimating how much money she will need periodically, make that available to her and be strict about not providing extra if she calls for more.

She is an adult, you can't stop her from dating or from spending on guys, at this stage; the best you can do is to advise her. The truth, she have to learn by making her own mistakes, but when she makes sure mistakes and they are not dire do not cushion their effects, even if the effective will be negative...e.g. If she have present of mind to spend her school fees or feeding allowance on his bf, I will not be providing another, even if it means, she have to skip that semester or go hungry.

dafuturis:
Why then are my Igbo brothers clamouring for more states when the whole of SE is not as big as the smallest state in the North.

Imagine Ebonyi +Imo+ Abia is not as big as my Delta sef.
Your comments does not make any sense.

You do not divide federating districts by land mass. The vast majority of the North is occupied by nothing else but empty space, land mass, etc.

Try looking up the GDP of the Northern States vs that of the Southern States.

This is how states are divided up in most other countries....e.g. Alaska in the US is more than 12x bigger than New York State and more than more than 80x bigger than New Jersey State....but New York States GDP is more than 11x bigger than that of Alaska's and New Jersey's is more than 4x bigger than that of Alaska.

Giving more states to the North, means diverting more Nationally Resources to them compare to Southern States that puts more money into the federal government coffers and that have more population centers.

Weldone Mr lecturer!! Senior Advocate of Transgender (SAT).

While you are at it, kindly explain also the process of activation of the different chromosomes and what can give rise to a false activation or activation mismatch.....

You can take this as your doctoral thesis.
This a very simple research topic, google is your friend...for starters hit the wikipedia for some refresher e.g.:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XY_sex-determination_system

One section in that wikipedia page states and I quote:

Humans, as well as some other organisms, can have a chromosomal arrangement that is contrary to their phenotypic sex; for example, XX males or XY females (see androgen insensitivity syndrome). Additionally, an abnormal number of sex chromosomes (aneuploidy) may be present, such as Turner's syndrome, in which a single X chromosome is present, and Klinefelter's syndrome, in which two X chromosomes and a Y chromosome are present, XYY syndrome and XXYY syndrome.[2] Other less common chromosomal arrangements include: triple X syndrome, 48, XXXX, and 49, XXXXX.

Right out of the gate, you can see that, we have males who have XX (aka female) chromosome and females who have XY (aka male) chromosome. These people are anatomically male or female, but chemically (i.e. in terms of their chromosome make up), they are the opposite gender, this is why it is perfectly logical for an anatomical male to feel that, he is actually a female within.

And while at it, lets separate gay/lesbian from transgender, they are apples and oranges. Some Transgenders hate gay/lesbians just like majority of Cisgender individuals. Transgender/Cisgender is about one's sexual identity, while gay/lesbian/straight is about who you share affection with and they are totally different topics.

Not everyone work for income, though some that are born with the proverbial golden spoon want to work their own way up and not rely on some bequeathed wealth.

The story of Joseph in the Bible taught us that, to be a good master, it is very important that you shed your coat of many colors and be a faithful servant first. Many today, despite the riches and opportunities at their disposal, still want to go that route and do not chalk it up to the cameras.

Rubbish huh

I detest people who are not satisfied with what God gave them
I guess, you will say same to the guy that was born with six fingers on each hands and underwent surgery to correct them, or the guy born with guy with eight toes and also have to remove the extras. What about the lady with three boobies, or the guy with three legs, etc, etc, etc.

We tend to identify and sympathize with people that have human deformities that we can see or feel but forgets that, the human body is very complex and that the things we cannot see or feel far out number the things we can.

In secondary school, we were thought the very basic of how an X/Y chromosome determines one's organs, but the problem is, the vast majority of people did not outgrow that simplify view, which was watered down so that, the infants can comprehend it. If you had cared to study advanced biology or are in the reproductive medicine, you will realize that the making of a female/male child is very complex and within that period, anything could happen which will result in the identity of that individual becoming messed up...and the bottom line is, there is a vast different between gender and the physical body organs we see....and hormones plays a whole lot in it.

Take sometime off, and do a little research and study how X/Y chromosomes gives rise the the male/female child and the complications that could happen if the activation of one of the chromosome did not happen within the specific period of time it should have occurred and how this will lead to that individual growing some type of reproductive organ, whereas the signalling that triggers the firing of that chromosome had assumed and summon up that individual's gender differently, thinking that the activation actually occurred. This individual now have a gender makeup that differs from his/her anatomy.

A colleague in UK also indicates that, same affected the local exchange they use over there and that, the business owner is winding down. It appear that this 'restructuring' will affect many of the local exchanges, but some with the right connections will still survival it.

But the agencies by the naira cheaply... R u aware of this?
In my previous post on this topic, that is why I indicated that, these operations are been bankrolled by highly influential people in our society, with some type of government assistance.

For one to be able to sell N370 for $1.00, it means he/she must be getting more than N370 to the dollar to make any profit. Even the Nigeria citizens on the street will not make such a deal..e.g. someone coming to you and saying, please give me e.g. N400 and I will pay you $1...and this individual turning around and selling it for N370/$1.00 for a profit of N30/$1.00.

That begs the question...where are these people getting these Naira so cheap? The Bank will not do that deal either....what about CBN or the printing press....You cannot get Naira this cheap unless the CBN and/or printing press are in cohort, and we are ruling that the option that, these people are printing fake Naira notes as you can't do that this belatedly and not be caught? In fact, this scheme makes what the Dasuki did a child's play!

You might have to do more readings, as you are comparing Apples to Oranges here....

Royalties from foreign company to Nigeria goes to the Nigeria government and it is purely received and keep as forex and increases Nigeria's foreign reserve....On the other hand, a Nigeria in diaspora sending money to his relatives in Nigeria or doing a construction project in Nigeria, that dollar sent (e.g. from the US)....that dollar must be converted to Naira for onward delivery to the recipient...there is no reserve....the local bank have to meet that increase demand for Naira, it is very simple.

Even if the local bank pays the recipient in dollar, which is unlikely, I cannot use dollar to go buy tipper of white sand from Baba Bola, he needs Naira notes, again increasing demand for Naira notes!
